Sold me the wrong size and would not take responsibility blaming the manufacturer. 3 boxes of tiles were broken. Tried to blame my contractor! Would not use this place ever again! Poor customer service! Later found the same tile for half the price elsewhere!

We ordered and had flooring installed from The Floor Store last month. Greg was great to work with. He was patient, as we took some time to decide on what we wanted. He answered all our questions and even recommended cleaning products to help keep our carpet looking great. We absolutely love our new carpet!

I had floors, countertops, and backsplash done here. I met with Chris G., we picked everything out, he gave me samples to take home and check that it would look good, super friendly, and helpful, all good. I returned the samples and he wasnt there but there was a drawn-up estimate that was higher than I expected based on the first conversation. Turns up he rang up a higher estimate because he rang up a different floor and countertop than we discussed. He apologized for the error stating that he works with so many people he gets mixed up sometimes. We corrected the product and got another estimate. The new estimate was about 1k more than we discussed, so rather than doing stuff over the phone, I wanted to go in and see the product I was being charged for. It again was wrong. I had to visit the store 3x to be sure the correct product was being ordered.Something they dont tell you is that before the product is even ordered, they will put a lien on your house. In my situation, the lien was for 2k more than my cost. This was corrected when I brought it up.A few weeks late the product arrives and I start to schedule the installs. Here is where my opinion comes in. Chris assured me that all installers were Floor Store employees and not contractors that they hire for the work.The floors were installed perfectly. The baseboards, perfect. If you are only looking at getting floors done here, I would give 5 stars. My only, if I had to name a complaint, is they remove the toilets to install the floor around it and since they put them back, I have flushing issues and they rock back and forth on the floor. Ill get back to this in a moment.The countertops were done next. I had many issues with this. First, the counters were installed on wood, which you can see underneath. Apparently, there is no way around that. Turns out that there is, and Chris didnt tell me that I have options with the thickness of the material going. He told me that 90% of people get the same thickness of material so he assumed that for me rather than giving me an option. The removal of the backsplash left drywall damage on the kitchen walls. I brought this up and was told that this is collateral damage to the work that they do. I had to hire a contractor to come in after the fact and repair the walls and counters so that the wood underneath wouldnt show.They also removed all the plumbing from the counters but didnt put it back. When they left they said they dont do that. I called Chris immediately and he said two things; first that he deals with so many customers so he was sorry he didnt tell me that this was going to happen. Also, that they arent licensed to do that which brings two questions- were they licensed to remove it in the first place? Were they licensed to remove and install the toilets? Are they all Floor Store employees, and not subcontracted? With this said, the countertop guys showed up in a truck that has a different name on it. They didnt speak English and had no paperwork to demonstrate the work they were to do or finished. They also showed up 5 hours late and worked from 4 pm to 10 pm. A clear demonstration that the Floor Store subcontracted out these guys. The cuts also dont align with the sink. The floor and backsplash guys wore floor store shirts and had paperwork. I have an RO system in my kitchen so when they left at 10 pm, had no drinking water or running water in the kitchen and had to hire an emergency plumber to come in the next day to install what they removed. My total cost of repairs after their work was $300. I asked and Chris refused to help with these costs.Lastly, the backsplash. The guy was super cool but long story short, he had to do it twice and it still isnt done right. He offered, but I did tell him that the imperfections were too minimal to have him come back and redo the whole thing again. Also, at that time, after 8 weeks I was over it.

We were looking for something specific and there were almost too many to even make a decision. Price was unreal. Chris took care of us. Clean, new store too!

I have had the pleasure of working with this family owned and operated business for approximately 15 years and have had nothing but a great experience each and every time!!! I kept getting the same reaction, “that won’t work on stairs!” The Floor Store tracked down the exact pattern carpet i wanted, special ordered it for me and put their best installer on the job! It turned out PERFECT! We worked directly with Chris, who took time out of his day and came to our new home, brought vinyl samples walked us through the entire home project. Having just purchased a condo, we realized quickly that all the flooring needed replacing. Step in - Warren at The Floor Store. From start to finish, he was there for us even going so far as to contact the HOA people at the complex to get an understanding of requirements for flooring in a 2nd floor condo. He was always available to answer all our questions and I just felt that he went over and above what most people would have done. Usually when we do a large project for our home we get three bids. I had looked at HD and Lowe’s for luxury vinyl plank and wasn’t thrilled with anything that I saw. I had heard about The Floor Store on FB groups when others had mentioned them. I went there on a whim one day just to see what they had. I met Chris and he was great. He listened to what kind of look and color I want and he gave me several to choose from. I decided to go ahead and make an appointment for an in home consultation. Robert came to our home. He brought the samples I had chosen and measured the space where we want new flooring. Within a couple of hours we had an estimate. Like I said, we usually get three bids. We didn’t this time. The price seemed fair compared to flooring we had done in the past. We really liked the experience we had so far with Chris and Robert and just decided to go for it. There was wonderful communication from Chris leading up to our install date. Our installers were Geoff, Brandy and Sam. They were excellent! They did 1,200 sq ft of flooring and new baseboards in 4 days. They were pleasant to talk to and they were respectful and cleaned up well at the end of each day. We are thrilled with our floors and I highly recommend The Floor Store.

I cannot recommend The Floor Store more highly than I do! If you are looking for honest and knowledgeable guidance, while also supporting a family owned business, this is the place to go. Robert has always been beyond helpful, regardless of having a small or large budget, and has never disappointed with his knowledge and recommendations. The Floor Store installed the flooring in my last home that I sold, and the realtor actually left a note complimenting my flooring, and asked me who installed it! I recently bought carpet for our family room from the floor store and had a great experience. Chris was very helpful in helping me decide the best carpet for the high traffic area that was also budget friendly. We shopped around quite a bit and feel we got the best bang for our buck here. The installer was also great. We love our finished product and hope it lasts a long time. We will definitely be back for any future flooring needs.

Fast, friendly service. I was in a pinch and needed a specific color of laminate and they took the time to help me out and find exactly what I needed. Awesome prices, great customer service, unbeatable selection. We just purchased our first home and were initially shopping around the big-box home improvement stores. After receiving two quotes we decided to look into other options. Im the type of person who needs to do a ton of research before making a big purchase, so the Floor Store was perfect. We went into their gorgeous showroom and were greeted by Chris who proceeded to tell us anything & everything about the history of different types of fiber options.. it was fantastic! I felt very informed the entire time and we got an unbeatable deal compared to the other two quotes. We ended up with a much better quality product and for a significant price difference. Great experience from start to finish. We went into the store looking for good carpet at a reasonable cost. Chris showed us some high-qualithy carpet that was slightly more than what we looking at in cost, but much higher in quality. The installers came when they said they would and did a fantastic job. I was expecting them to kick-in the carpet since 2 of 3 rooms were smaller but they used a carpet stretcher in each one....doing the way it is supposed to be done. We will be using them again in the last room and I recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring. Fantastic family run business!!

I was in need of carpet squares for my classroom to place students around my room. After calling several stores around the Gilbert and Chandler area with little to no help, Warren responded to me right away and helped me beyond what I expected. The store is well kept and everyone there was friendly and helpful. I will absolutely be keeping The Floor Store in mind for any future flooring needs I may have or any friends may have.

I called to see if I could have someone come out to the house to give us a quote and spoke to a gentleman that said I would need to come into the store first due to their large selection.... totally understandable. At this point I’m trying to compare pricing and deciding which route to go as far as flooring goes. Went into the store, was greeted by the receptionist. Walked around for 30 minutes without a single person approaching us. Finally when a salesperson got an idea of what I was looking for he proceeded to explain several options. A little overwhelming but for me personally I would have loved to get a ballpark figure of the price I’m looking at for the area I wanted completed. You’re a flooring company, you have the expect that people want to compare you with other flooring companies. All I was told was it would cost me $30 for them to measure my house... well if I’m spending thousands and going through with the sale at the end I would expect that to be an included service. Appreciate the non-pushy sales person approach but was also looking for some direction so I could move forward in the process.

Actually Im not a customer Im a installer for the Floor Store and Im not being paid to give this review. First of all Ive been installing for 28 years and I can honestly say that this company is one of the very few that actually cares about there customers and believe me after being lectured by the owner Robert Galvan for a few mistakes on one of my installs I learned really quick not to make those mistakes again because you customers are definitely the ones that make us who we are so my advise to the consumers is forget about the big box stores and go with a family oriented store like this one who really cares. Worth a look and your time. Its a family run place that works hard to earn your business. We purchased our carpet from them. Their price was extremely competitive to the big boxes, and we felt good about our purchase being from a local place. The bonus for me was that they didnt sub-contract out the install. We have used the Floor Store for 3 home projects, each being more extensive than the previous. Our last project involved installing over 3,200 square feet of new tile throughout the entire home, new kitchen counter tops, new kitchen back splash and re-doing a fireplace. We have used Chris for all 3 projects and each time he has provided not only a quality product but at a competitive price. This alone warrants a solid review, however this is not the reason why someone should work with the Floor Store. Their ability to provide design input is what sets them apart from the others. Many places can sell flooring products, but they leave it up to you to select the products. Chris will not only provide a quality product but he will help you with design input that will truly make your space stand out. He helped us turn an outdated 2004 style into a 2018 design that most model homes do not match, thanks Chris!

We just completed a large flooring project with The Floor Store in July 2016. We had shopped around and got a couple other quotes from some of the free in-home estimate companies. After doing our research, we found that The Floor Store had triple the selection/styles/choices than any other company we looked at. We were also so happy with the kindness and wealth of knowledge that Chris Galvan at The Floor Store had when we would go in and ask a bunch of questions. (And he was so relaxed and never had a pushy/salesman attitude.) My husband and I felt good about moving forward with The Floor Store. The project began and was estimated to take 4 days, but of course we realized it could easily take 5 days, as these estimates are sometimes on the optimistic side. They demoed the old tile, demoed the baseboards, leveled the sub-floor, placed brand new wood-look tile and grout, and installed and painted new baseboards. The whole project actually took 8 full days until it was complete. That was a major downside for us--especially because we have 3 little kids and had to be out of the house! But we feel it was done right and it looks amazing! Everyone who walks into our home now is astounded with how beautiful it looks. We had a couple small issues with the install guys---some corner pieces of the cabinetry were knocked off and lost in the demo but Chris made it right and replaced all 4 pieces free of charge. We also had to have the install guys come back and fill in spots where grout was missing--but again--it was taken care of. Also, we ordered a large, bound piece of carpet to serve as a rug and when we received it, it was the wrong color carpet. We waited another couple weeks to receive the right carpet. So I guess what Im saying is that the project was not without mishaps/hiccups/frustration, but overall were happy with how everything turned out and I still have recommended The Floor Store to friends and family who are wanting to remodel.

Great place to get flooring. With very knowledgeable employees and great customer service

I am not impressed with the Sales person we have. He is having a problem with ordering the correct moldings. When I talk to him he is quite good at talking down the customer. Had I known Warren does make mistakes and makes the customer feel like a fool I sure would not have purchased my flooring from The Floor Store. Lets see what he does to rectify the problem. The installers stopped twice today with the wrong molding. This takes up my time and the installers. I will not call The Floor Store to be insulted again.

The Floor Store installed a large tile shower for us. The project was to have taken 2 to 3 days maximum, but because there was not enough material ordered, it took a total of 5 days. This was a major inconvenience because we are snowbirds and my husband flew down in August thinking the installation would be completed during his stay. He had to fly down again to get the project completed. Having said all of this ,we are very pleased with the outcome and the installers were very good to work with (Luiz). Marla, Operations Director for the Floor Store worked very hard to resolve our issues and we were very pleased with the outcome. We also received a very nice Thank You note (handwritten) from Marla. We believe that they took all of our concerns under serious consideration and will use this experience to improve their service in the future.

Omg, Warren Colvin at the Floor Store was a LIFE SAVER when we discovered we had a series of foundation cracks in our home and had to rip out tile to have it repaired. Our existing floor tile was no longer made and we had to replace the tile in our entryway as well as a walkway that went from one side of our house to the family room.From the moment we walked into the Floor Store and met Warren, he offered several suggestions as to what we could do to tile that area after it was repaired. Other tile stores simply dismissed us and said, Your tile is no longer made, so Im not sure what to tell you.The tile job that was done in our house was unbelievable! And, we also bought new carpeting from Warren because our current carpeting was old and dated and we are putting our house up for sale. I am sure the house will sell quickly because of the tile and carpet additions that were done to our home.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Floor Store if you want high quality work done at a reasonable price. Ask for Warren - he will take the time to understand your needs, come to your house to measure and assess your situation, and make sure you are satisfied with the results.
