Id like to say a few things about this place.1. The location was very clean and well maintained2. The customer service and support was addressed, account opened swiftly3. The three star review is because the customer service representative at StorQuest was fantastic.However, I wasnt able to place a lock on my unit because it still had prior users boxes. So I will try to move in 11/1/21. The first floor was not as clean as 3rd floor, and it had a peculiar smell.I used The Spare foot website because StorQuests website was slow... So I used Spare foot instead. The phone operator was quick to follow-up with reservation made and confirmation and offered discount available it was GREAT!

These guys are horrible. Theyre disorganized. I asked for a copy of my lease? Dont have it. They have to email a higher-up for a copy. Wheres my mail? Oh, sorry, weve been sending your mail back without notifying you because we only accept *packages.* Here about an email saying that the facility is switching out locks and to come in during normal office hours? Whoops, the locksmith isnt here right now, please come back during time x. Why didnt the email say that? Who knows.This is of course on top of awful banker hours, a parking lot layout that makes no sense, and a staff that thinks repeating yourself is a fun pastime that must be employed at all costs.

Constructive Comments: 1. About a month ago I visited StorQuest facility at Cerritos, Ca. to inspect the units and the building itself. Since I did not need the storage unit until end of October, I was told that StorQuest can hold or reserve the unit for a week. I was enticed due to the offer of 2 months free rent. I reserved 10x15 climate controlled unit for $180. a month with understanding that there will be a 10% increase after 6 months. I went back a week later and talked to Jose who graciously offered to extend the hold for another 10 days or so when I told him I did not need the unit until later in the month. I went yesterday and met with Jose to sign the contract. He now tells me that the price and the 2 months free rent is no longer in effect and he has no control over the company raising the price which now became 50% discount for the first two months not 2 free months and the unit price for the reserved unit now is $200. It was also my impression that the 6 months timeline started after the 2 free months. Jose indicated that the 6 months starts from the date of the contract signing. Also, he indicated $25 administrative fee upon signing of the contract. I signed the contact with a bad taste in my mouth. It really seems like a bait & switch scheme! It would have made lot of sense if StorQuest had a piece of paper outlining the conditions & fees that were promised when I first visited the facility. I honestly cannot recommend your company thinking & knowing there was and is other people like me who got conned.

I just started with Self Storage but I felt customer service with the girls in the office was very good. The girls were professional but kind and their knowledge of the property was informative. I appreciate it when someone knows what they are doing instead of guessing.

The customer service is outstanding! My first day there Deborah I believe that’s her name she was so helpful, and spoke clearly about everything very kind. Everyone is very welcoming and Jose was able to help me upgrade my storage unit. Highly recommend others to check out the storage units here they are spacious and parking lot is huge with lots of units on 3 different floors! 😱

Had less than 24 hours to clear out my space and store everything. Jose was an amazing manager and really worked with me to be able to get all of my stuff in. I forgot to ask for extended hours and showed up almost 2 hours after they had said they closed and he was still there working! He has got an amazing staff and they are very informative and helpful. I appreciated that they had carts we could use to easily move my items into my storage unit. They also have all the stuff we would’ve need for moving in their leasing office for purchase: tape, boxes, pod locks, bubble wrap etc. you name it and they probably have it. 10/10 fantastic storage facility

This storage company in Cerritos with their staff were amazing! They gave me a good deal with two months of 50% discount and the service rendered was superb! Affordable price, but bad customer service. Hi-Tech Elevators & Security keypads virtually locked everyone out of their storage on my 1 day as a Renter. And the Clerks on staff were finding it hard to communicate the outage to customers or a reasonable work around...

This place needs better hours. Most people like to move early and they dont open till 9am. The are very expensive as well. The place I will say is very clean!

Between Jose and the young lady whom I don’t remember her name we’re very courteous. The day I checked in the black young lady was running the show and didn’t breakdown there was about 5 ahead of me and took care of us all including some that were an interruption asking a few questions but would do both get the customer signed up or people come in and get a lock. Always letting me know she hadn’t forgot me and even though the questions and lock purchase was after me I realized I was going to have my turn and her attention. I look forward being here for the year. I was hoping to remember this lady name and she should be awarded well she’s a asset to your company I was pleased on how she took care of business. This place not only disappointed me to my very core, it continues to make my life miserable. First of all, when i signed up, we had extended hours 6-9am, 6pm-9pm, i think except Sundays ( not sure about Sundays). Now, those extended hours have been taken out, apparently bcz there were many thefts in a very short period of time(A friend told me that they can change anything about the contracts they make, so nothing that you get in the beginning can be a fixed thing. Anything and everything can be cancelled nothing can be locked in for the duration of your --. Anyway, they messed up majorly, the only reason I got my unit there was the evening extended hours. Ive been late a few times, bcz i arrive there almost every time when they close. They accused me of trespassing, they repeatedly gave me grief about being late, And now an ultimatum, if Im late one more time, theyll close my account. What i dont understand is: Security personnel was added, they put cameras everywhere, but extended hours never came back. Im already working at getting my stuff to a different place.. Im sick of this place.

I went to confirm my storage today and Jose was very helpful. He showed me the unit I had reserved which turned out to be too small for what I need. He showed me a bigger option and told me about a promotion that was going on. He was knowledgeable about the units, busy times, lock tips etc. Overall a very pleasant experience. Looking forward to storing my stuff at this location for a few months. I would definitely recommend!

The units at my location was new clean and modern. Felt very secure with individual access code for each entry and plentiful HD cameras. Storage access hours were in order to protect from burglary and living in units. Price was comparable with competitors, but an additional 50% off the first 3 months was a great deal. Jose at the front desk is knowledgeable and definitely has experience. I highly recommend the units and solute the franchise for being organize.

Someone had broken into my storage twice and insurance denied my claim bz I don’t have Any proof of the forced entry ( whoever broken into the storage cut and took the lock with )they don’t have camera by the storage unit only by the elevator. Stay FAR AWAY from this storage company!!! This is a WARNING!!! Unsafe, unreliable and plain dangerous!!! Horrible service!!! My family rented a unit in April and in less than a month pretty much everything was STOLEN!!! Seven full luggages and shopping bags were gone!!! Even school stuff of the kids were taken!!! They were traumatized!!! This place is the worst!!! I wont be surprised if its an INSIDE JOB!!! They couldnt even show or look at the facility video. Do not use their facility!!! If you are, move your stuff ASAP before your unit is ransacked!!! Customer service was very bad!!! We had to file a police report for the ROBBERY!!! This company deserves ZERO stars but I had to press 1 or the review wont post.

Let me start off by saying that the manager is one of the nicest people I’ve never met. She was helpful, informative, respect and genuinely cared about the costumers. I’ve been renting at this facility for years now but it was ran but a different company. And over time it had become run down and a bit unsafe in my opinion. But now that it is under new management I have noticed a lot of changes and all of them good. I don’t feel like I have to worry about my things all of the time. Security and cleanliness where the first things I noticed. And the fact that I can now call the office and actually speak to someone is is wonderful. I would highly recommend StorQuest to anyone looking for a rental unit. The prices are reasonable and they made paying for your unit every month a breeze. I will definitely be renting from StorQuest from now on.

I was a customer when it was still life storage but ultimately ended up leaving because they evicted me. They prices are pretty good as long as you get no extra fees, really liked the location and amenities but all in all we couldnt be on the same page with new management

TERRIBLE PLACE TO STORE YOUR THINGS!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I rented a unit, and almost all my things inside it were stolen within 2 weeks. This place just had one job to keep my things safe and secure, and they failed. The management and customer service were not very helpful as well. They told me that the CCTVs are only placed by the entrance and exit doors. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DEFINITELY GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS!

I went to StorQuest Cerritos from distance place. They offered 50% off discount. But its not written an insurance fee and a Key fee. The total fee I paid was pricey. I didnt have time to drive and find another place. The hidden fees were not informed on your website. I could find another place near my place with this total price.And a staff was not expert. First of all she told me after this 50% promotion, we offered another promotion. I made sure again and again about this. She said YES. But its lie. That part was an oral contract. There were no evidences. She changed her personality and said If you had complain, picked up your boxes soon and moved another place.I answered StorQuest survey after that. They ask a lot of questions like costumers race, education level, annual income bra bra...

The units are really fair price. Excellent security, super clean and well maintained. But the selling point is how knowledgeable, helpful and professionally the people that work there treat you, specifically Patti.I highly recommend the storage facility.

This facility is absolutely the best, Personnel are highly professional and knowledgeable of the facility and its operations and the facility itself is exceptionally clean and the grounds are meticulously kept. My experience at Storquest was amazing. The facility was really impressive, clean well lit, and most important SAFE. Destiny was so nice and helpful. She took the time to explain the whole process step by step and answered all the questions I had. The rate I received for my storage unit was the best compared to other local competitors. I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS IF ONLY YELP HAD THAT OPTION! I had luggages, big boxes, etc. at my unit and everything was stolen in a short span of time. When I went to the sheriff’s office, the officers asked me, “Where is this? StorQuest-Cerritos?” They then told me that the place has about 50+ cases of burglaries at that place, and they noticed there are people who live in there. I was surprised with this, but I’m even more surprised that this place has not been shut down. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE BROUGHT INTO ATTENTION AS IT IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO STORE YOUR THINGS AND HAS MANY CASES OF BURGLARIES!

Dont store here if you dont want your belongings stolen had storage here for 6 months put the expensive stuff in this past Sunday came today on a tuesday to find everything flipped and thrown and a bunch of work materials missing Cerritos sheriffs told me “let me guess the lock was not broken or anything right” this has happened many times officer had said in his own words let see how the insurance works out but super inconvenient and costing my business valuable time and money

When I vacated the unit I let the representative know and they never vacated the unit in the system so I had to call. When I called a woman named Tammy, I believe was her name said it wasnt vacated in the system and said thanks for letting us know and just hung up on me. I had to call back to ensure I would get an email confirmation etc. When it comes to pricing, I rented the unit at $60 something and after a month with no real warning the rate had changed to $74. Thats a crazy sudden price increase that came out of nowhere. These factors definitely make me want to consider different options for my storing needs in the future.

I have rented out storage spaces before in other facilities, and never have I ever gotten robbed from a storage facility before. This place is not secured. I rented here because I read reviews of them being awesome after new management and yet somehow my storage got broken into with just 3 weeks of renting from them. Half of my things are missing and they claim to have no idea how this could happen. meanwhile there are cameras and codes to get in. I am now needing to move out of this storage to a more secured one. I would NEVER rent from them again nor do I recommend them.in hindsight could be an inside job since no reviews reflect the fact that there are break-ins on a daily basis as per the sheriff I called.

Everything was great until yesterday. My access code was not working. I called the support line and they said that the elevator was out of service and there were no stairs to get up to my unit. Both were untrue. Another tenant let me in and even got me in the elevator. Im lucky that the tenant let me in, because I have my tools stored there and I needed them for a job Im working on today! As for the facility itself, its clean, modern and has climate control. Unfortunately because of what happened yesterday, I will be moving out as soon as possible, because I need reliable access to my tools and cant be messing around with misinformation.Update: I moved out. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Not the same anymore ever since the new ownership took over. Apparently someone tried to break into my unit, damaged the lock and it had to be cut off. Theres also a homeless guy staying at one of the units there now that insulted me just for looking his way. This place isnt safe anymore.

I have rented from storage facilities for 35 years. and other facilities do not even come close to storquest self storage.. the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and knows what their customers need before they ask. Each time I need to rent a storage unit I would drive 200 miles to rent from storquest self storage. And if you are looking for storage short or long term Ill tell you what., Each time I rent from a storquest self storage facility you always see someone cleaning. With a smile from ear to ear. Just FYI, this is the first time I am reviewing a business negatively. The only reason why this location is getting One Star, is because I need to be able to post my comment. Zero stars would be too good.After writing off feces in my storage unit as an aberration or mistake, I assumed that Life Storage could redeem itself. However, today, I had the most unpleasant experience with an employee there who identified himself only as Marco when I asked to speak with the manager.He claimed to be the manager and refused to provide me with the contact information of any superior or his last name. I left there feeling abused, insulted and disappointed. Marco was rude, belligerent, unhelpful and disrespectful.What happened?I went to pay a bill for a storage unit. After realizing I had been misinformed about both payment dates and how the referral system worked (I had referred someone) I asked Marco to provide me with correct information about my bills for the upcoming months. This man rudely told me things like its simple math - calculate it and wouldnt let me get a word in edgewise. After interrupting me more than 10 times, frustrated, I asked him to let me explain what I wanted. The ensuing conversation was very disappointing with Marco saying I dont like customers and they dont like me. Is this what managers are trained like at Life Storage? I surely hope not. I need someone who knows someone to give me the contact of this mans manager please.Need I add that NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS LOCATION?! (17900 Crusader Avenue, Cerritos, CA 90703).
