Great look and taste of an ice cream experience, the fishtail cone gives it extra unique look and taste, great place!

Really good taiyaki! The batter they use here is so different than other taiyaki places. Its chewy just like rice mochi. They make the taiyaki fresh for you so its super crispy. The custard goes really well with the chewy dough and the matcha ice cream has a really strong matcha flavor - it has a hint of bitterness that balances out the dessert. Located right in front of the food court as a pop up. Will definitely return again!

Super yummy soft serve ice cream! During this visit, it wasnt crowded at all and the people working there were very friendly! I ordered ube flavored ice cream in a fish cone with taro flavored jam on the inside. They topped my cone with graham cracker sprinkles and a cute macaron. Such a guilty pleasure but worth it. Highly recommend!!

Very good taiyaki. The dough seemed slightly undercooked but I kinda like that. My boyfriend loved the ice cream and taiyaki combo.

It was amazing! The Oreo and milk soft serve 🍦 ice cream was delicious! Definitely recommend. Next time I will just get milk ice cream there. It was so silky and nothing like I have ever tasted!

Great place to get ice cream inside a waffle or other fillings like Nutella, taro, red bean, the custard and the cheese are great too!

MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GET ICECREAM! Sadly since its in the mall, I havent been going due to corona. BUT, I love this icecream place: its so tasty and I love bringing my family here to get some dessert. Favorite is ube!

Its really good, for ice-cream its a lot of flavors and they are really really good and the tayaki is crunchy and soft and the fillings are amazing, the employees are super nice all the time.

The staff is very helpful and the ice cream was great.

This was amazing! I love ube ice cream but dairy and me dont mix. To have a place thats serving lactose free ube ice cream was amazing. Then you add in the nutella to the inside of the fried mochi cone and this was amazing. There are a few other flavirs of ice cream - macha, oreo, and milk flavor and a few fillings options too - red bean paste, taro, and another 1 or 2 by I dont recall what they were. Just be prepared - its messy but so worth it.

Ive passed by Somisomi the many times Ive frequented the Los Cerritos Center, and have enjoyed samples of their soft serve from time to time. Being a warm day before Independence Day, with the heat sweltering up into the 100s later on in the week, I gave in to my sweet tooth and helped myself to a little Somisomi action.First, choose either a cup ($3.75) or taiyaki cone ($5.95). You can also have a cone placed upside down in a cone ($5.95)Then, choose your flavor(s). Milk, black sesame or milk/black sesame swirl, ube, matcha or ube matcha swirl.Customers having the taiyaki cone can have it filled with nutella, custard, or red bean.Finally, choice of unlimited toppings.My designs were to have ube/black sesame swirl in a cup, but was perturbed when I was told they only had ube & matcha. Determined to chill out with soft serve, I went ahead with ube/matcha swirl, topped with strawberry macarons, graham cracker & Oreo crumbs.Oh yeah, bay-bay!! The vibrantly colored soft serve was cool & delightful. The matcha overpowered the ube, but having sampled the ube before, I know theres ube flavor to be had w/o the strong bitterness of the matcha. Somisomi hit the spot! I was as cool as a cucumber, enjoying my ube/matcha swirl. Somisomis soft serve was smooth, creamy and not cloyingly sweet.
