Love this place spent coming here for years

The selection is terrific, the staff very knowledgeable and usually very helpful. Unfortunately, I was disappointed when they and a customer went on and on, loudly, about their politics. I have nothing against someone sharing their beliefs, but thats something to be discussed at a local pub, around bonfire, or in the comfort of your own home. Not at your business, because not everyone shares the same beliefs. Next time, please use a little discretion. Thank you

They have been around for a long time, and have hundreds of wines to choose from. Their spirits selection is just as impressive; and Im sure if you cant find it, they will get it for you. A great place 👍

Large store large selection. Not enough supply for mixers or hard liquors which are isolated to one corner of the store. Could use more flavored selection. But its got the basics, a little bit of everything and a lot of wine

I bought, on their advice, a bottle of veuve-clicquot Grand Dame champagne. Now, I drink beer. This was for my wifes birthday. I explained I didnt know anything about wine, and was going by their expertise. It cost $180, and they boasted it was old vintage. We stored it on its side in a cool room, and finally opened it to celebrate one day.It was bad.We poured it back in, and I took it back. Basically, they said Too bad. You should have known it was a risk. After much discussion, the owner took out $60 and gave it to me, saying it was out of his own pocket and the goodness of his heart.As it happened, the son of a good friend is a wine expert (as in, a degree, years of experience, and works for one of the most exclusive wine shops in the world. He was astounded at their reaction.Last week, I went to Bottle Values in Bethpage, and repeated the story to two gentlemen who worked there. They couldnt believe it. I purchased another bottle of Grand Dame there, and they assured me if there was anything wrong, anything at all, they would give me another bottle, or a comparable value brand, or a refund.Weve been going to Franks for over 20 years. I will never set foot in there again.
