I went in for steel toe boots for a new job. I was immediately greeted at the front & directed to the shoe section. I was quickly asked if I needed styles and sizes brought out to try on. I requested 2 styles. They had my size in both. I liked the 1st pair I tried on. So I took them up front & made my purchase. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Thank you Big 5 staff.

Attentive staff directed us right to what we needed. Not hard to find and plenty of parking. Prices are not the best, but not too bad.

Employees are nice and are very helpful. I always get my work boots from them and most of their boots are like $20-$30. Sport equipment is always on sale. Supper easy to find a new sport to get into without paying too much money

It a good place to buy lower end sporting equipment, at reasonable prices. Its a good place to buy birthday gifts! If you are on the fence about a sport start here, then if you really like it, you can progress to higher end stores. I still go in quite often to fill gaps for camping supplies.

Amazing, friendly service. We called ahead to see if they had a specific product and when we arrived 10 minutes later Trevor had it ready to go for us at the door. So helpful. We got it for a fantastic price as well.

I was pleasantly surprised on this visit... I had all but given up on Big 5, but the staff was very helpful, and the store was clean and organized... They have a great selection of everything including indoor soccer shoes (better than Dicks and they were organized!)... There was a great selection of clearance items in Centerville... It made me want to start going to Big 5 again... Its great to have another option again... Yeah! Give them a try, Im glad I did, saved me $25.

One of the workers was just sitting in his phone for about 15 minutes. We asked him to see if there was a different shoe size and he went in the back. He came out and said something similar to, I forgot, if you are looking for that size, then it is underneath the shoe. They did have nice products but the overall staff experience wasnt great

I was pleasantly surprised by the competent and friendly help the employees at this store provided. The Christmas Eve sales prices were pretty good too. Im used to shopping in Salt Lake, where the customer experience is almost as bad as the driving. I really liked that they employees offered specific help, instead of the generic, soulless: Can I help you find anything?

Staff was ok. Somewhat blind to the fact that customers are in their store. Had to go hunting for someone to get a few questions answered. Clean lots of merchandise. Prices are decent. Some cheap stuff and some overpriced. Just do your research before buying.

Easy location to get to and the staff is helpful. I wish they had a bigger selection but it is a small store. The store is well organized and has been well stocked each time i am there. They have a limited firearm selection but, what they do have the prices are very competitive and they have some great sales.

Always find what I need at a big 5, and at a fair price, I bought a 2 pack of mouth pieces for $4, Ive bought shoes, ammo, guns, footballs and accessories, over many years. Happy to see a sporting goods store surviving. Hang in there.

Stopped in at Big 5 to find some workout pants/capris for the gym. I had forgotten mine and needed something that wasnt too expensive. Luckily there was a little sale going on and I found what i needed for about $20. Big 5 is smaller sporting goods store stocked with the basics. Fishing, camping, baseball, basketball, swimming, bird watching, skiing - you get the idea. Not a huge selection, but I do like it because I dont feel so overwhelmed like I am in some of the larger sporting good stores.

I was going to buy a few things at your store today until I saw you’re mandating masks. You’ve lost me as a customer now.

The more I visit this place the more I am impressed. Their selection, given the (small) size of the spot is remarkable. Great firearms selection as well.

The store is very small, overpriced, and somewhat difficult to find what youre looking for due to some disorganization of products. However, when I havae bough products from here they have worked well and lasted fairly long. Just fix the organization and the price and youd have a great sporting goods store.

They had what I was l looking for (variety of ping-pong paddles) and the sales team was very helpful. They are open on Sunday which is a big plus.

Its a smaller store so it isnt overwhelming and they always have great sales. This is my go to for sporting shoes and hiking supplies. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Stop stalking me everytime I go into your store always creeping around staring and double checking if we need help when I was in there getting my kid soccer cleats. Had no intention of stealing from you and now have no intention of giving you more money. Decent selection for such a tiny sporting goods store gets you the second store. Just stop stalking ykur customers or be more discreet. I do t want to feel on edge in a store.

Staff was great at helping me pick out a knife for my husband. There was a huge selection, lots of them were on sale and I had a great time talking with the representative about the different options.

Staff was inattentive, continuously cared for guests checking out before taking a moment to open a fitting room, then watched management hover near the fitting room while I evaluated one article of clothing. A five minute size check took twenty minutes and I was denigrated by staff in the process. When you add events like this to the usually poor selection, lack of staff and high prices, Ive learned to go elsewhere for sporting goods.

Seems like every time they ask for the restaurant they have a plumbing problem and they never have service for restrooms for their customers seems a common problem with all the Big 5 I dont think they wanted have a good customer service and lend a restaurants to there customers very disappointing.

Big 5 does well to offer low end equipment at low prices. It is often difficult to find sizes and colors desired though.

Neat store went in for a golf glove for me and the wife bought a swimsuit that she had been putting off because she could not find one that felt great. She found it and we were still out of there in under 30 min!
