Perfect place for one-of-a-kind pieces. I was in search of a desk and found a gorgeous, well kept option within my budget. The store is eclectic, fun to shop, and Steve was most helpful. Highly recommend!

The guy who owns this is the nicest guy. He has some of the most interesting things and has a great eye for style. I dont get here often... but when I do I am always so impressed and he is so honest. I consigned an old mid-century stove with a pull out range and double oven like the one in the TV show Bewitched. I said sell it for whatever you can get. When I saw David ( the owner) again a few months later, he said he sold it and gave me $450. I did not expect that much and most dealers from my years of experience will take advantage and tell you they sold something for much less and keep the lions share for themselves. Not David at Mad Modern. He truly is one of those rare honest dealers.

Dave, the owner, is friendly, helpful and a truly kind person. They always have unique and beautiful design pieces here ranging from centerpieces to cabinetry to couches to hi-fi systems to nick-nacks. Dave keeps his stock rotating and his nation-wide connections keeps him flush with unusual finds that will land your interior designs somewhere on the idiosyncratic/anachronistic spectrum. Super cool store, good prices for good pieces and an upright, honest owner. I definitely recommend coming here.
