I have been going to this location for years. I have 5 sons , 4 of them were in need of vision care from a fairly early age. They have taken very good care of all of us. I highly recommend Iowa Eye Care.

Recently, I was in to have my eyeglasses adjusted. I mentioned to Roy that I have another pair of plastic frames that I got from them that I never wear because I cant see well out of the progressive (bifocal) lenses. He told me to bring those glasses in so we can look at them and said that most likely, the reading field just needs to be brought up a bit so theyre in the correct position for my eyes/the size of frame. Well, I did that and I now have two pair of glasses I can use! I am so thankful that Roy recognized the issue right away, got it fixed, and now I have two useful pair of glasses. I had my first visit to Iowa Eye Care this week, and I was very impressed with Dr. Kimberly Cruise! Id heard that bifocal contacts are difficult to fit, but she told me she has successfully fitted many people with them. She discussed the advantages and disadvantages of gas perm lenses vs soft contacts and explained why she recommends one over the other for me, specifically because of whats going on with my eyes. Shes very knowledgeable!

Love these people. Each branch Ive visited has been helpful, courteous, and amazing. They helped my soon to be teenage daughter pick a pair of frames and boosted her self-esteem at the same time. Absolutely amazing. I actually cant wait until next year when we go back for exams then.

Another easy and thorough exam by Dr. Cruise. She is excellent! So friendly and professional. She always understands what my questions or concerns are all about and explains things so I understand what is going on as well. Questions come with aging eyes! Her staff members are all friendly and courteous. I never feel like my time is being wasted waiting, and I really appreciate that. Both my husband and I highly recommend her!

Dr. Cruise and the staff at Iowa EyeCare are very friendly, courteous and helpful. I do not feel like a number - I feel like they genuinely care about me and my eye health. They take time to answer any questions and provide explanations of testing results, etc. I never feel as though they are in a hurry to get on to the next patient, yet I have never had to wait a really long time to be seen. In a word: excellent. The entire staff was genuine, warm and knowledgeable. They took my very anxious ten year old son, who did NOT want glasses, and turned him into a very happy kid that cant wait for them to arrive. My exam was great as well. I have been going to Iowa Eye Care for years. I switched to Dr. Anderson a couple of years ago. I went in because I have trouble reading the computer and have tried cheeters but they did work the best. Today I got my new computer glasses and I love them! Should have done this before. Iowa Eyecare in Cedar Rapids has always been clean and professional looking during each of my visits. The staff are always respectful, kind, and polite. I have never had any trouble and staff were always willing to answer my questions if I had any. Dr. Ryan Nelson is fantastic, as well as the rest of the team!

Friendly staff. I was clearly made aware if there were going to be additional fees. My only gripe, which isnt really that big of a deal, was that I was picking glasses to kill time while waiting for my appointment, one of the optometrists was assisting me. After trying on over a dozen pairs of glasses I found 1 pair that seemed to fit my face and style preference and was told by the optometrist Those glasses are so yesterday. Although the honesty was appreciated , in the end it discouraged me from purchasing the glasses. I didnt care what was in-style I cared if they were right for ME or not. In the future, I will continue with this business for my optical health, but when it comes to purchasing eye ware I may pursue other options.

They asssisted me on selecting frames, safety bi and tri focusl lens.They contacted my insurance and help me processed payment. They explain what they had to offer and what would work best for safety and my budget. The best service and customer care I had in 20 years of looking for eyewear . Thank you so much.

Great staff, they are extremely kind and they have a great policy if you purchase your contacts through the office. If any of your contacts are faulty or rip they will replace them free of charge.

Between Dr.Nelson and staff they are the best ive moved to Tn and i know that ill miss them all but whoever has them i really hope that they to will like them as much as i did ty
