Far too many times I have gone there during their business hours and nobody is there. I waited 30 minutes after they were supposed to be open, and nobody. I get good service, but only when someone can provide that service.

Owner Brett got a new power supply installed in my system at a good price, a timely manner and set up perfectly.

Went here to get my screen fixed. It costed about $450 and took about a month. When I got my computer back, my screen was fixed but I realized my WiFi and camera were now broken. I decided to get through a semester of college to get it fixed again since all of my classes were virtual and I needed my laptop. It was still very inconvenient for me since I needed my camera for exams and Zoom and couldnt leave my desk since the WiFi was so spotty. I called during my winter break to tell them about the issues to get them fixed and said they would call me back. However I never received a call back and neither did my mom who had also called multiple times. Recently got my laptop fixed at a different place and said that many things were left unconnected and not fixed properly. :/

Went in for a replacement battery for my Dell XPS 13. They said that the cost would be 55 dollars. This seemed low to me, so I asked if the battery was real. The owner was adamant it was real. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chose to buy it. When it came in and I looked at it, it was clearly not real, and I told them this. Despite this, they kept saying it was real. I decided to take it, again giving them the benefit of the doubt that although it was fake, it would work on my laptop. When I put it in my laptop, it was rejected by the charger as my laptop said it was a fake battery and was unsafe. Asked for a return and was given only about 60 percent of my money back. Bought a real battery from parts-people.com which worked without any problems.

Took my gaming laptop in because it had water damage. They transferred the contents of my hard drive to a flash drive - great. However, now, when I want to build my next gaming laptop, I find they stole the RAM out of my machine!

We paid $185 to have my sons computer fixed. They put in 3 new fans and a cpu fan. The guy told me my sons gpu was dead and needed to be replaced. So, my son swapped out the rental graphics card (which he couldnt use anyway because there wasnt an hdmi/display port). He booted the system and it was running fine. On a second note after a week of being used 1 of the rgb fans died. Stopped spinning completely and no rgb. We checked the controller on the side panel and it was still plugged in securely. I have to say, I was not sure about a computer store at first, but this place is wonderful for the first job they completed for me. Reasonable price and quality work. There are real experts working there. I essentially handed them a computer case, a PCB board, a processor, and some wires, and they turned it into a computer. I also got educated by someone 1/4 my age (no offense intended), but I am not as versed in the HW/SW computer realm as they are. The staff is great, and I met two experts that do quality work for a reasonable price. I appreciate your work on my first computer. I cant wait until I get my second computer. Keep up the quality work. Also, they communicate very well. Everyone there does an excellent job,Follow up, I got my second computer back. This is a gift for my father. I did not provide all the parts, but all the staff worked closely with me to build a great machine for my father.CheersChris

I took my Apple Macbook Pro into Computer Heaven to have an estimate done for an insurance claim. While I did find the service to be quick, the information Computer Heaven provided me was insufficient for my insurance agent. I was asked for specific items to be quoted for a repair, so I gave the parameters to the shop. Ive contacted Computer Heaven multiple times in the last month, but havent heard back from them. At this point, Ive given up trying to call them. I wouldnt recommend Computer Heaven to people who need to have their computer looked at for an insurance claim, I cant give a rating on their repair services.

Computer Heaven treats you like family! My computer crashed, I couldnt even get the screen to come on; when I took it into them, they gave me all the information they found on the problem and fixed it. They are very reasonably priced!! I was thrilled. I went here because friends have been there who were also very pleased with the service and the quality of the work and the timeliness of it.I would HIGHLY recommend Computer Heaven to anyone in the area.

Wow!!! Amazing! Zach went out of his way to excellent care of me! The power port on my hp laptop broke, and I could not go a single day without my laptop. I needed it for work and my husband desperately needed it for a test that night. I had called many other computer repair shops, and either they didnt want to take the time for me without charging a big fee, or they didnt fix this type of problem, or they told me the only fix was a new laptop. I finally, thank goodness was referred to computer heaven, I was told that he would shoot me straight and did great work. Well that he did. He was honest with me and understood my predicament. He took the extra time to ensure he could help me, told me exactly what he needed to do, was upfront and very reasonable with the cost, and then worked hard to get it done that day. I am still blown away with the exemplary service I received. I highly recommend Zach and computer Heaven. Just excellent!!! Thank you. You have gained a customer for life!

4 trips and over $200 later my computer is doing the same thing. They dont know how to fix it.

Avoid this storefront at all costs! I dont know how they stay in business. Zach calmly accepted $250.00 to replace a shattered screen on an expensive Surface Pro that he, as a professional, knew was unfixable due to a slightly bent computer frame. I like to patronize the small local business owners. But NEVER this one again. Repeated trips, one time we had the nerve to interrupt his lunch, surly. Not fixed. Perhaps they exist off bilking one-time customers! Beware of this loser place. Wouldnt have given 1 star....

Life happens and weve all been there. Id rather wait another couple of days and be able to talk to the same person than go to a geek squad and be told many different things that have me spending so much more. Shop local, be local. Never had a problem and if I did it was always handled quickly and professionally.

I took my iPhone in for a repair. They ordered my part, quoted me a price and when it would be ready. The owners price was lower than anyone else’s, he repaired it quicker than he said. GO TO COMPUTER HEAVEN! He took care of me and he’ll TAKE CARE OF YOU TOO!

Ordered a replacement laptop battery. Store never called to alert us the battery was in and ready to be picked up. I finally stopped in to the store to inquire about status and the owner informed me the business had been sold to him since I had placed the order for the battery. He told me that since it wasnt *him* that had been paid for the battery, he had no obligation to provide it to me. Also declined to refund my purchase price, and told me to go find the previous owner. really?!? Needless to say this was a very negative experience. Will never do business with them again. Only reason I gave them one star is because zero was not an option.

My computer was acting weird so I went in to have them check it out. Their first 15mins are free to have them look at the comp to see if they can find out what is wrong. They were so helpful, friendly, and easy to talk to!

He is well experienced in this field & very educated as well, to perform whatever job, that you may bring to him.So, ID DEFINITELY CHOOSE to take my computer that needs any EXTRA type of T.L.C. or; tablets, iPods, iPads, cracked screens, software in which needs to be fixed/ updated(due to being out of date*), old computers that you would like to have any information transferred off of, & etcetera.Bring them to Computer Heaven vs. Any other IT Services & Computer Repair; Computers Competitor that most likely will be out for your money or WILL JUST do a temporary fix on your system.Here they will will do everything in their power to make it right, & get your computer back up & going if at all possible.Trust me.

Brought a hard drive in that I dropped while it was on, they were not able to recover the information but did so far get me referred on elsewhere to hopefully get it. I understand that there was a chance they wouldnt be able to get it but they were great to work with, busted their butts to get what I needed done, and very friendly. Thanks!!

My Windows 10 was corrupted in an upgrade, preventing internet access. And of course, I neglected to back up my computer with a bootable disc. Computer Heaven reloaded Win 10, with everything running again. I am happy to be back online and programming again.And yes, I am backing up now. But if it broke down or was corrupted again, I would not hesitate to go back to Computer Heaven.

Took my laptop in because it wasnt working, they said the hardrive was bad so they put a new one in. I thought It just needed a new screen, I did not ask for a new hard drive in It so he said he wouldnt charge me for it. So I went home and it was the wrong hardrive. There was no drivers installed on the computer, it was pretty much a shell of a computer. So they took $200 and in return I got a computer that now turned on but still didnt work.Now for any repairs I go to gadget guy in downtown cedar rapids.

Went there to see what was wrong with my pc, wouldnt even get to the loading windows screen. take it in, says its a bad PCI slot, which he added he has never seen before, and the whole computer is trashed, have my friend looked at it, who has a 4yr degree in systems security, fixes it in 20 minutes, problem was bad video card driver install.will not go here again.

7-7-13was in there yesterday. the guy has stitches in his hand and wont work on anything for the next two weeks until theyre out. ok I got that. but he told me that he would help me fix the screen on my phone if I needed it, well I go to sears and get a screwdriver to disassemble my phone so I can get the screen off to fix it right. well three screws wouldnt come out of the back of it so I go back in to see if hed help take the three screws out. he picks the phone up looks at it says those are 5 sided screws and he had nothing to take them out with EVEN IF I LEFT THE PHONE THERE. so I go back over to SEARS knowing this guy is feeding me a load of crap and pull the other three screws out in the isle. took everything back home changed out the screen in an hour and the phone hasnt given me any problems since.2 weeks...if youre not going to work on my phone tell me so I dont look like an idiot trusting you with my phone. DO NOT GO HERE!!! if you need help with your phone get ahold me ill do it for cheaper and im not out there to make a buck so I wont screw you over like this...power linemen- Backbone of America
