They are a big store, have just about any kind of food you are looking for.Their deli food is to die for, all their food taste almost as good maybe a tad better than moms.🤫(dont tell her I said that)

Wife said pick me up a avocado and whipping cream on your way home! OK, a bag of chips and a bottle of the favorite brew fell into the shopping cart on the way out. Store wasnt packed, had a good parking spot straight out the front door, no gripes, no complaints. Check out with a real person, employees that checked me out were pleasant and professional. Worked for me!

We visited the Wine and Spirits for their incredible beer selection. I cant say much a bit the rest of the store, but that department has everything! I should have taken a pic of their cooler, but this is just what we got...

Pick up moved to north parking lot behind liquor department. Across from Jimmy Johns.Staff was working very hard. If someone was in charge organizing pickups I think they would not have been so stressed. Website basically lists items such as toilet paper in stock even when it’s not. So you don’t know which items are in stock and by the pick up comes around you never know what you’re getting.After arriving for my pick up I called number on email and she directed me to the parking area and said to call number on signs and tell them your name I tried calling the area code (515) number posted on signs 18 times and never got an answer. An employee figured out they had to go to the cars waiting to get the names. I felt so bad for the staff because they were giving it their all.

Very friendly, always can get help finding something. Great meat also. Love this store.. puts Walmart to shame on food. Dont have to walk 10 miles to find groceries.

HyVee Edgewood is probably my personal favorite if I go to HyVee. HyVee usually has some good deals.

This Hy-Vee is well maintained and well stocked. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I came at 5am for balloons for my daughter and the store manager inflated them and arranged them along with flowers himself. He was so kind and gave me a discount for the things that hadnt been labeled correctly. Major kudos for the stellar customer service.

This place has the BEST Chinese Food! I only go there if I crave it. Another thing, go on Fridays, they always have great deals. This Friday was Chinese for 4 for only $20! and gave me a 2 liter pop FREE! dang!

Great store and everything, prices could be a little lower. When you go in here, make sure you wear a mask. The last few times I’ve been in there, I have gotten a stomachache.

Cant fault the store for not having the specific flavor of vegan cheese you want but I can thank the kind person in pharmacy that absolutely did not have to give me a free sharps container. Best Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids. Its clean and the employees are friendly. Some things that need improvement:We got Hy-Vee Plus and made orders about 1-2 times a week. While I cant say the exact amount, the majority of orders had issues.The pharmacy is slow no matter how busy they are. Ive gone the next day to pickup a prescription and it still wasnt ready (it was in stock, just not prepared).

This Hyvee used to be awesome, and I am thankful they were like the first store in cr to open after the derecho storm last year, and they were the only store open for probably the entire day. Lately, when Ive gone there, though, its gone down hill, it seems like. The store itself is super disorganized, and they seem to always be working to restock shelves, but most of the stuff is still boxed up, just sitting in front of shelves, in the way. The stuff that is restocked is not where its supposed to be, making it hard to find specific items. They are usually out of everything I need, so I end up having to go to Walmart or another hyvee. I dont know if its that theyre short staffed due to the pandemic, or if their stockers are just terrible, but the other stores dont seem to have this issue.

I liked it yesterday morning. Most staff members show a smile in their face and great you. There was some sort of energy and diligence permeating the entire store, smiles abound, fruits and vegetables are allocated in the proper isle, customers move around with their carts, every surface is clean and shinning -including the restroom, the background music mixes with staff voices, the breakfast took longer than usual and the associate lady came to apologize; very few customers sit in the cafeteria... I couldnt descipher what was going on. After reflecting on my visit, I got a sense of had being part of an invisible performance put together by the store managers, in which everybody was professional performers acting little ordinary employees and engaging the customers into their representation. It was mesmerizing; I guess it was the spirit of Christmas imbued in every human being entering the store. 🤗

This was always my favorite Hyvee until the pandemic and drive up orders. They were always so far behind and it took so long I drove the extra 10 minutes to another Hy-Vee.Ive just started going back and have to say that the smell here is so much better than some other Hy-Vees. Youre not immediately overtaken by the smell of the seafood department.They are generally clean and has a good variety. One of the larger of the Hy-Vees I frequent (at least 8 different ones each year).

They have gas, postal service, dry ice, cheapest ATMs, groceries, hot already cooked meals, great friendly HELPFUL STAFF, which is a huge deal with customer service jobs which I work as well so I know how important it is and I APPRECIATE IT WHEN THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP as I do at my job... Aisles Online:DO NOT RECOMMENDMy order was delivered 2 1/2 hours late. I had to call the store 3 times and when I called the last time the MANAGER hung up on me and when I called right back, I was told aisles online was gone for the night. I would never use this service again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I was treated poorly by the employees, my order didn’t get here until 9:30pm, after I had gone to bed. No one apologized, or even seemed to care that my order was late. I left a message about my order with the store and no one has called me today.

A pleasant surprise seeing the alcohol section. So many IPAs to choose from.

We used the catering service for my daughter’s wedding. They promised all the drinks would be in clear containers. They were in fact in big, brown, plastic containers. They were to have greenery decorating the tables. Nothing. The excise was they forgot. They were to display the cookies on the plates provided. They left them on the table in the boxes with a set of tongs on the box. They came to clean up 30 minutes late and left the ugly drink dispensers and their tablecloths and picked them up the next day causing the venue to keep some of the deposit. I was initially offered a $50 HyVee gift card. I notified corporate and they decided to up it to a $250 HVee gift card. When I went to get the gift card a day later it wasn’t there and no one knew what was going on and the manager was in a meeting and couldn’t be disturbed. Thankfully the service could get woman just created one and apologized profusely. We were so disappointed since we had heard such good things about HyVee. I cannot recommend this HyVee for catering. I have photos that I’m not sure how to post here unfortunately.

Staff here have a complete disregard for manners or customer service etiquette! And are apparently extremely judgmental and prejudicial.Just because I have tattoos and piercings does not mean Im in your store to steal from you!!!!!!!!The manager in this this Hy-Vee was following me and my boyfriend around the entire store and making it very obvious that she was doing so. I have never stolen from this establishment nor any other for that matter. I make more than enough money to support myself and Im an honest, hard-working, tax paying citizen. I go to the same store regularly because its in my neighborhood. There should be no reason why 6 months after I move to this neighborhood, why i am still being store-stalked by employees and the manager!

Got attitude from the meat department for ordering a meat bundle like it was the worst thing he had to do. the sign for the bundle did not specify the type of gourmet burgers but so we asked for the bacon cheddar, we were told it had to be the mignon burger and would get in trouble if they gave us a different one even tho they were the same price, we asked to talk to the manager and were told there wasnt one in the store and to call tomorrow. we found a manager and he apologized but said he didnt know the department so he couldnt help. worst service I have ever had from hyvee. we shop there due to the customer service but its turned into Walmart where no one wants to help.

Great breakfast and the service was excellent. The portion size was spot on with the price. I had the omelette with hash browns and an Orange juice. The sitting was very clean and they are following the covid-19 guidelines.

Following a major weather event this was the only grocery store that I found open. They did a great job, even with only partial power.

Cool place they gave me a really good deal helping out the Overflow shelters with meat on the holidays

We have gotten several of the family meal deals and enjoyed them all. This time we tried the 4 pack of sandwiches. Wow! For $20 we got huge sandwiches which were absolutely restaurant quality. Thick, juicy burgers, a thick tenderloin which hung off the large bun on all sides, and enough pulled pork on a bun to feed three people easily! Along with that we got a huge container of crispy fries and a pound of the gourmet white cheddar Mac and cheese that our kids cant get enough of. The value of this deal cannot be overstated. We would have paid at least double for this meal (and likely triple) anywhere else. There are four of us and we all had leftovers to eat for lunch the next day!

It was a very poor experience I spoke with manager and told her I doubt I would be back but I was trying to give her some constructive criticism. Its not like me but I was almost tempted to just leave my groceries in the cart and walk out but instead I bought what few I had in the cart stopped and spoke with manager on the way out. I went to Fareway on 1st Avenue and was VERY PLEASED with the service from the time I walked in until I walked out.

Tried online order pick-up. I waited 45 minutes in line just to pick up my ordered items before I lost patience and left. Tried in-person today and the soup I wanted to get (Amys Organic) while $3 at Target is $4 at Hyvee. Ive also never had to wait 45 minutes in a line for grocery pick-up at Target. Skip Hyvee if you can, between the price and the wait there are much better options.

When I need unusual foods or hard to find foods, there is a good chance Hy-vee carries it. Place is clean, restaurant has great food.

Tried the new restaurant, it was tasty. The order taker was kind enough to give me a heads up that the onion rings arent actually onion rings, but onion straws. The server who brought food asked if we needed anything else, but never did return with the ranch I asked for, so dont expect too much from the food runner. Since there arent actually servers, you get what you get when you get it.Overall, I still highly recommend it.

I really like this Hv-Vee on Edergwood. It has things that the others dont.

HyVee on Edgewood is very clean, fresh bakery and flowers, plenty of staff to help and very convenient. After an issue with aisles online delivery with membership plus the customer service team was quick to right a wrong and are working through the hardships of a pandemic (read: changing it up by revamping aisles online). They have even ordered in Wilsons salami by request. Coming from a health care professional that working with immuno-comprimised geriatric patients - thank you for making me feel safe in an efficient, extremely clean, and friendly environment.

Love this store and shop their frequently, however I have to say each time I purchase the potato salad its the same issue..The potatoes in the Egg potato salad in the deli case need to be cooked longer..they are a crunchy; not fully cooked..other than that it is good.

Always enjoy a trip to HyVee when Im in Clinton.

Stocked rather full. However, I couldnt get any escarole. Also, I could only find one brand of 99% lean ground turkey. Clean store, very busy but lots of checkers.

This is on the 100 spur heading west in Cedar Rapids. The selection is good with a health food section. The beer, wine, and spirit selection is very nice as well. Clean and welcoming. The deli and bakery are well stocked. A charcuterie section complete with some good cheeses rounds out the selections.

Very friendly and happy to help people

We met up with the grandkids and had our orders taken in good time. However my shrimp dish was not cooked properly. The breading was still gooey and the shrimp cold. It was to be a hot dish. The waiter was helpful and ordered more shrimp. The manager came out as well and agreed it was not just me complaining and ordered a complete meal at no charge. So I ended up with my original order, double the amount of shrimp at no cost whatsoever. Most of all they were very kind and courteous not just to me but to my grandchildren as well.
