This place use to be good and quick. Not so much now. Waited over an hour to drop truck off to get four new tires. Ended up leaving because they let at least five people jump ahead of me. No clue how to run a business. Ended up elsewhere and they got me in right away. Didn’t even have to leave the truck. Shop local!

While working night shift my new tires (ordered online) arrived. They worked with me and held the tires for several days until I could make it in with my truck. Discount Tire has always treated me well, and I have used the hazard protection once. I ran over a large screw on a rural road, the puncture was near the sidewall. Discount Tire took care of replacing the tire. All I owed was the additional hazard coverage for the replacement tire. Thank you Discount Tire for taking good care of me.

Have always received very good service from DT on Wiley Blvd.Ive purchased a set of Continental tires at 50k on my car and will be getting same ones Saturday. Car is currently at 161k.Not too bad!!So, very clean location.Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.One recommendation....a shuttle service.Other than that...Well done DT.

They are great, didnt buy the tires myself, come on the car when I bought it, they still honored their free balance and rotation policy for tires purchased with them. The work was done quickly and done well. They will have my business in the future as well.

This place is great. Been going here for all my tire needs. Kyle, the shop manager (Id assume) is like an orchestra conductor. He made the shop run like a well oiled machine. Had 15 guys running all over the place and seemed to run flawlessly. Very impressive.

I love discount tire, I only go through them. I usually go to the Cedar Falls one and they are awesome. But here it’s a mess. They mess around and Play slapass the whole time. Half the time I only saw 1 car in the shop. The other half most of the employees sit and talk at the desk inside. And not about work. I’ll drive to Cedar Falls before I ever come back here.

I set an appointment time online days in advance, showed up on time and let them know I was there for a tire change that was scheduled. After waiting for over half an hour I asked the guy when they would get to my vehicle as I had an appointment to get to shortly. He informed me he sent his crew to lunch and it would be another hour... They are quick to sell you tires but when it comes to the promised benefits you are screwed.

Absolutely disappointed. I spent almost 500$ in new tires for my car for only 3 tires. The same tire that I had problems with kept going flat and not only that knowing it was one of the new tires I bought. Took it back to them and they couldn’t fix it right the first time. I had went there for four times for the same tire. So last night Tyler was nice and courteous but the other employees were asswholes because they wanted to get home. That’s not my problem I wouldn’t have been there if you would fix it right the first time. Who knows if it will even be fixed this time. They didn’t tell me what they did to my car, leave paperwork , and they got white, dirt, and grease all over my car to bad I can’t post the pictures on here of what I had to touch all the way home... very unprofessional and the worst service I’ve ever had in my life. I have to work late a lot of days too but I don’t treat my customers or complain to them because I want to go home, I finish what I’m suppose to do first because I’m getting payed to do it.

Kyle is the definition of customer service, we had a miscommunication the first time on fixing a tire and without debate Kyle took care of the problem even with it being a few weeks later. Would recommend their services any day!

Seriously best service I’ve ever had! These guys are so nice. Got a flat right after work and called 20 min before they closed and John said if I could get there they’d take care of me. I got there at 630 and they helped me as if I was there at a normal time. All the workers had great attitudes even though they were working way past close. Great job! Highly recommend!

Got back from a weekend trip only to discover my vehicle had a flat tire at the airport. Called Discount Tire right before they closed to see if they could squeeze me in. Logan answered the phone and wasnt sure if they could patch my tire in time but told me to come on over and theyd at least be able to help put my spare on so I could make it home. Once there Jesse had me pull into the shop. I was only expecting them to help change my tire but they went far beyond. They patched my flat tire and even stayed after hours to help me out. I am beyond grateful! I would definitely reccomend this amazing team :) thanks guys!

My wifes and my vehicles took roofing nails in a tire on each vehicle. Wifes was in the side wall, and their prices were the best in the area. Mine was in the tread, and they patched it for free. Theyre always busy, so call ahead and plan, but you cant knock the prices and service. They earn the business they have.

Bought some rims had to order the told me 10 days they would have them. Well 3 months later they showed upSad part I perpayed for everything. So it gets worst I watie for rims to show up they do after 3 months I set up an app. To have them done told me about an hourI show up on time sit 45 minutes in my car waiting for an app at 3 and 3:45 still waiting to get in not one person said we are behind and its going to take longerSo I left and set up another app. Why dont know Im guessing they are just going to make me waite 1 maybe 2 hours after my app. Before they get me in. Well I should have nevered payed up front they got my money and now I can just suck snot. Just the worst service I have ever had.

The guy came out to my car with me to get me the right tires, did NOT try to oversell me, and didnt treat me like I was dumb. Went in to have my tires checked last week. I needed an air check and possible hole fix. Although they were busy and I had to wait a few minutes, I was thoroughly impressed how attentive, professional, and helpful all the employees were. I dont go anywhere else for tire service! Best around! I wish I took the employees name down who assisted me but I know they are all wonderful! Keep up the good work!

These guys are AMAZING! I was having trouble with my tires, was told they needed replaced by another mechanic. Discount Tire looked at them and didnt think they did... offered to balance them and see if there was a problem. All the work done they said the tires should be good for another 2 years at least. They did not charge me. It is so nice to have a company with such great Customer Service. Highly recommend!

Not a bad place because of the costs of what they offer they tend to be very busy so its best to make an appointment or srop it off. Other than fixing a tire they really dont know much more. So if something happens after they change your tire you will have to take it to a different shop because they wont know a thing and will not admit that it might have been them that caused the new issue. 3 stars because of the cost and free services

I had an amazing experience at this store today. The guys doing the paperwork also change the tires and are very knowledgeable and patient. Jon discovered there was an error in availability on the tires I selected and upgraded me without extra charge so I could drive out confidently on needed new tires. They also found a busted sensor and replaced it. So helpful and above and beyond service. I am so grateful!

These guys work hard and they are AMAZING!! I’ve been coming here for a few years now and they’ve always taken good care of our family vehicle. TODAY though I was driving down the road and thump, thump, thump goes the tire. I thought it was a flat but nope I ran over a clip that fell off another person car. I came 2 minutes after close and they offered to get the spare on. Then upon review realized my warranty purchased would cover so they got the brand new tire on there and had me on my way in less than 30 minutes!!! Popped my tire and a curb today and went in for a warranty replacement. Everyone was super friendly and nice when I called asking if I needed an appointment (I didnt) and when in the store. The work also took less time than quoted and adding the warranty on to the new tire was easy and inexpensive.

These guys are CHOICE!!! Im serious, man... Topped off my air for FREE (no wait) theyll fix a flat for FREE, not sure what else is free, but when I need tires, thats where I will probably take my business. Not once did they try to sell me anything, just let me know where my tires wear and tear compared to ideal scenario and that was it. A good mood was the only thing I left with that I didnt arrive with.

Went here for the first time today after having a flat tire. They were very friendly, respectful and really catered to our needs! They first ASKED us what we were looking for and were not pushy at all. They checked the safety of all of our tires and told us they were still good… But due to age we may want to think about replacing all of them… Since they were 10 years old. So we did get four new tires which were thought to be in stock, turned out they did not have them in stock after all, so they upgraded our tires for free to a $200 tire times 4! And didn’t charge us a dime extra! We really see God‘s provision in this, and are so thankful! We most definitely will return!

I am extremely disappointed. I bought 4 tires from this location. Air constantly seeps out. My son bought 8 tires from this location. 1 vehicle the tire goes completely flat. The other vehicle they have to put air in every other day. 1 vehicle oops. 2 vehicles Hmmm. 3 vehicles... So you know what youre doing. Yes of course we can bring it back out. That wasnt the deal when we purchased them. Our time is precious too. I go to have my tires rotated. Nope cant do it if You dont purchase 2 more tired because the belts are showing. Really? So rather than help me out and buy me some time until I can afford 2 new tires you tell me your policy. When I do buy new tires I wont be buying them from here.

Best place to grab tires or even rims outstanding service

I just had new tires put on 3 months ago but on 1/31/2018 I rand something over that put a good size hole in my inside tire wall. I was losing air very fast and knew I would not make it to the next morning, so I drove straight to your store for help. I arrived at your store at 6:15 pm, but the shop had closed at 6:00 pm. However, there was a gentleman that asked if I needed assistance as I was walking back to my car. I explained to him what happened and the gentleman looked at my tire and could hear the air coming out of my tire and pulled my car into the shop right away. The tech explained to me that the whole in my tire was not repairable and I would need a new tire. However, my little MINI Cooper does not come with a spare tire nor did the shop have my exact tire size on hand. Make thing even more interesting since it was closing time and the last day of the month the corporate offices shut down all their computers so the shop had no way of looking me up, nor did I have any of my warranty paperwork on me from putting on new tires three months prior to this happening! Discount Tire came up with a solution to place a tire on that was closest to my tire size on my MINI until they could get a new one in. Discount Tire did not leave me stranded with a flat tire even when they could have just left for the day. I am extremely grateful for Discount Tire being there for me when I needed it the most! Just stopped by today to figure out why my tire was losing air. Mike was incredibly nice and helpful in assisting me, turned out I had 2 nails in the tire; to my surprise they said all tire repairs are free, so it didnt cost me anything, and it only took about half an hour! These guys are truly the best! My son was home from the Navy during the holidays and purchased a set of tires and wheels that needed to be shipped to the Cedar Rapids store before he left for Washington. Well as luck and weather would have it our two day window to get the tires here and mounted in time for my son to leave was not met due to good ol Mother Nature, however, Discount Tire offered to ship his tires and wheels to the location closet to his base- FREE of charge. We were so happy! Unfortunately, the car never made it to Washington... my son was in an accident in Montana and totaled his vehicle. I went to the store the next morning and spoke to Justin who sold us the tires. He was very understanding and reassured me they would take care of it. Discount Tire refunded us the total cost of the tires and wheels even though they had made their to the store in Washington. I was forever grateful for their kindness and quick action to make this horrible situation better. My son was deployed shortly after getting back to Washington but was relieved to find out he had no financial obligation to the order he had placed just days prior. I will always come here to get my tires and recommend these guys to everyone I know. Thank you for making a distraught Navy Moms bad day better.

I walked in saying on on a tight budget needing 4 tires. they offered me 4 used high end tires with lots of life left in them for a great price and it only took half hour to do. very impressed with the quality of service and choices given to me. I had blown a tire just outside of Dubuque on Highway 151. While I was waiting for AAA to arrive to help replace the blown tire with the spare, I called ahead to this Discount tire store. Talked to Chris the manager who was very helpful on the phone and said to get there when I could to then look at tire options. I got there after five and Chris had his team get right to work on putting on a new set of tires even working a little past their 6 PM closing time. I then got back on the road and headed to my home in Des Moines. They were very accommodating and professional and so I wanted to write this review as a big TY for their assistance.
