I highly recommend this location. Most people are looking for a great product at a great price. This location has truly exceeded all expectations. I was very reluctant to even buy glasses, but Shawna helped me find the perfect style and fit. The entire staff was insightful and knowledgeable and made me feel welcome. I had a horrible experience at this location in Cedar Hill! I waited a whole month to set an appointment for my father who unfortunately came from a third world country and did not have the same options when it came to education. So when I set up the appointment I made it loud and clear that he did not know the complete alphabet and spoke Spanish and if there was any other way of taking the eye exam. They informed me that there was another way of taking the exam that involved numbers, shapes, and colors. So i set the appointment for 05/05/2021 the exact date the Spanish speaking specialist would be there. The day of the appointment I show up a few minutes earlier to make sure everything is good and when I spoke to the store manager she told my father and I that no such appointment was made and that they do not conduct such exams. The store manager was very rude and acted inappropriately just laughing and smirking when I attempted to explain to her that my father could not say the complete alphabet. She then went on to state that even little children know the alphabet when they come in for their exams not wanting to understand my situation. When I called customer service they informed me that my father was scheduled for a special exam and an extra note was left that the exam would be conducted using number and shapes. So now I am confused and offended to why my father was denied an eye exam when I was told they do conduct such exams. Further more to add salt to the wound the store manager informed me that they do not have any Spanish speaking specialist even though my mother who only speaks Spanish as well get her glasses at the exact same location in SPANISH...

The customer service was great, however I wish they actually verified insurance prior to your appointment date because I would’ve known they did not accept my insurance so I paid out of pocket for my exam. Also, I came with my own frames just paid for them to add the lens. The shipping time to get them back was almost 3 weeks! Never again!

I went to get my first Pair of eye glasses ever. It was such a pleasant experience and am going to recommend it to everyone I know. An associate there by the name of Lisa did such and awesome job and made me feel so comfortable with this whole experience! Thanks Eye Lab!!!

I had a great experience Brenda and Lisa were awesome! I was able to get a pair of glasses for my daughter at a such a reasonable price I was able to return the next day to also get my son a pair as well. I plan on returning next month to get my glasses. Lisa was great helping find the best glasses for my budget. I highly recommend. The only down side is they seem to always be super busy and crowded but it was definitely worth the wait!

I had my appointment on March 20th for eye exam the lady told me I needed to see the doctor. So she scheduled me fir March 30th I get to the office and a lady call me back trying to do another exam in my eyes. I asked her why am I doing another exam I was here to see the eye doctor she said it is no doctor here today. I said I didn’t get no call or text saying no doctor just a text reminding me of my appointment. She took out her cellphone calling the doctor she said to see when he was coming in. She asked me to write my name and phone number down on a sticky note pad so she can just call me when he return her call. I guess he haven’t call back cause I haven’t got a call yet and I am having problems seeing out my left eye. I left this place in tears cause I don’t know what is really wrong with my eye. This is not right to treat people this way very unprofessional when you are dealing with people eye sight.

I was a walk in 1 day, I got an exam, needed glasses , but while I was waiting to get my rx the lady came in and said I had pressure in my right eye and that I need to see the doctor, well he wasnt in but she made an appointment for next week I got a call saying that the doctor wouldnt be in and they reschedule for two weeks later I got another call saying the doctor wouldnt be in they rescheduled me again and here we are yet again and theyve already rescheduled me twice this week I dont know who the doctor is or when hes in but as far as I know hes never there. She also said that I wouldnt have to pay anything since I already had my exam, now that their customer service is wack and the doctor is never in I got to go somewhere else to get my eye pressure checked and I will have to pay for it, what a total inconvenience.All I want to know is when is the doctor ever in!!!!

We work next door the myeyelab, i went with my brother to get a pair of glasses and he has been in their several times and they acted like they had no idea who he was wouldnt talk to me with out shoving a mask at me, we are past the mask thing i am not doing it, customer service is terrible, took my business too vision works and they were amazing and nice and got us taken care of.

First time here. Customer service was great and employees friendly. Place was clean and whole process went smooth. The problem and reason for the rating was the pricing and charging practice. They make you feel and tell you that they are saving you a lot of money and show it to you on a computer screen, but with the quick and smooth talking you end up paying a lot more than expected. Reminds me of a good Con artist. Their buy one get one free sale is a joke. Advertised promotion is just a way to get you in the doors. I got fooled once but there is no second chances from me. I did business with them and paid what was said but I already knew this was my last time. So I will be taking my business somewhere else when the time comes.I tried this new place due to the other eye location across the freeway was booked for the next 30 days. At least there I know exactly what I am paying for without surprises and they do not try to act that they are saving me money when in actuality I am paying much more.

Just purchased my first pair of glasses from here. The sales manager Lakeisha was wonderful, helped me find the right pair that fit me. She explained how the prices work and made me feel good about my purchase. The lady in the who did my exam was also great and kind. Look forward to another visit in the future.

Horrible customer service, gave us the wrong glasses wrong color with the wrong prescription and were upset we wouldn’t take them. Do your job right the first time and you won’t have to fix any mistakes. Staff is extremely rude and disrespectful.

I wanted to see if these guys accepted my insurance before scheduling appointments, so I called. Instead of answering with a simple yes or no, I received what seemed to be a 2 minute scripted advertisement. I asked again, do you accept this insurance, I would like to know before scheduling. For a 2nd time, a 3 minute script came, he sounded like a recorded telemarketer. The sales pitch wasnt necessary, Im calling you for services. YES OR NO?? Im sure the packets are great, but I pay for insurance & would like to use it. I just hung up, because I wasnt getting anywhere with this guy.

A coworker said he had a wonderful experience at this place so I decided to give it a try. Everything was great with the exam lady that assisted me was very professional and friendly. The problem started when I sat down with the sales manager Ms Booker.. this woman needs to be a used car salesman. I was so exhausted and confused I finally agreed to spend twice as much as I planned or could really afford. Instead telling me upfront what the cost would be she put in my order then told me the price then started showing me her computer screen when I would ask a question she would make changes in the computer and then show me more prices. She kept talking on and on. Like I said she had me exhausted and confused I guess that is how she gets her sales. I just hope whatever I get is worth all the money and time I spent.

When I heard of this place I heard great reviews, unfortunately my experience wasnt grateful. I arrived early in the morning with appointment, 30 min after opening. Got there, and entered. After walking into the door was told to go toward the back right of the building to the eye exam section. Minutes of waiting I was asked to sign in and fill our paperwork as usual. Before completing the forms I inform the employee whom was attending me I already had a document of a prescription that was recent. Was told to still complete the documentation and begain to be reviewed. I asked what insurance programs do they work with. After minutes and minutes of waiting, I began to look at eyeframes and then sat down once again. there was an employee whom I asked if she can assist me and said she cannot for me to wait because shes new. New guest are arriving and getting assisted right of the bat. However I wasnt able to get attended. I reached out to another employee and was told to to remain seated because that notified them that I was ready. I let her know that I have been for over 45 minutes and the fact that they are attending other guest who are just arriving.Once I got attended, the person who I spoke with when filling out my documentation shouts from across the room your insurance wont cover because we dont work with that insurance. Before hand I asked what insurance they worked with, mine was named. Appart from that I found her reaction unprofessional.I got attended by the sales manager and walked me though the process n payment plans, I showed her the frames I wanted and further more. Once we begain talking about the insurance she was able to access my information and ect. I was told that the insurance will pay up to 150 and my over all price was 99 dollars. I was also asked if I wanted the 3 year warranty for 20 dollars and I said yes, thought it was I good deal and was excited for finally being able to get a new pair of glasses after needing them for a long time. All I had to pay out of pocket was 23 dollars for the warranty with taxes included.However once I got home relised I was charged for what my insurance covered and when I tried reaching out though mobile, no answer.When I got notified that my glasses was ready to be picked up, I took my receipt and notified them about the situation. They told me to call my insurance company and to sort it out with them.The same employee who didnt want to attend me because she said she was new, (wish I couldve gotten her name) open my glasses from the package and the glasses cover and began cleaning them with hanzenitizer and tissue paper. I wouldve thought that as professionals they wouldnt be cleaning or touching up a guest glasses like this. My expectations where higher from when I entered but was left disappointed. I shouldve just left and went to a different bissness from the start instead of dealing with this unpleasant experience.

The place was nice and clean, the people were like robots. Very strange people, but nice. What i dident like was the way they do business..I went for an $79 contact and glasses exam. All togather i payed almost $300! Total rip off! The owner wanted to know where i buy my contacts from? After refusing to buy the over priced ones he was selling, lol

Do not go here. They say they take walkins. That is not true. Came here and the people are very rude. Could not get a appointmet until late afternoon. Ahould not misrepresent they take walkins. Go any place else.

This is a very slacking unprofessional place if you ask me. Went to do their eye glass special, asked if I wanted glasses and contacts. Didnt tell me there was a different price to do contact exam. Got them both two weeks later and they didnt work both blurry, the answer to the fix.... Spend more money to get a different prescription because they cant do anything else. Had to fight for an hour to get a PARTIAL refund.

Really enjoyed my visit to My Eyelab in Cedar Hill! The staff was amazing from the time I walked into the door. The customer service was top of the line and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Everything went smooth and quickly. Lakeisha was the best ever! She helped me pick out a frame that fit me perfectly and made my overall experience absolutely amazing! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone needing glasses or contacts. I went in for glasses and came out feeling like family. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I definitely can’t wait for my glasses to come in!

Store was well maintained. There were not to many clients at one time which made it easy for us to remain far apart. Exam was mostly virtual. Felt very comfortable there.

First time trying Eyelab with the intention to buy 2 pairs of glasses for myself as well as my daughter, but we ended up with 1 pair a piece. Our overall experience was nice. The staff was friendly and it was clean. Not long after having my glasses, one of the handles broke. I went in and Lakeisha replaced them with no problem and with a frame that was different color but same style. I had no problem with the colors, I just wanted to see, lol and it helps that she was very polite and got me in and out. Recently that pair handle broke and on the same side. I recently moved across country and was back in Dallas for business and was able to stop by Eyelab. (the timing was perfect). Again, I got them replaced with no issues. Lisa Butler help me out this time. I actually ended up getting a totally different style since that style had issues, lol. Since I live out of state, she said she would ship them to me as soon as they come in. I called today after receiving an email alerting me that they had reached Cedar Hill. I called and talked with the store manager Shauna since Lisa hadnt made it in and she immediately check her computer and told me the date they shipped to me and also the tracking number. Again, very nice and professional staff. I definitely will be using Eyelab for now own. Other companies would have made me purchase a new pair again even though they know they have cheap frames, I mean you do pay for what you get, but Eyelab surpasses all the other buy 2 pair companies.

Great place and great customer service. But I am disappointed in the long wait to get my glasses. I placed my order on September 7 ; and still waiting for a call or update on them .

Went in today for an eye exam and glasses. The staff was overall ok. Except for one particular lady. She was recieveing guests. Might have been the receptionist. Well long story short, she seemed to have an issue with serving me since I am a latina. She handed me off to a bilingual stating that I didnt understand her because I didnt speak English. Mind you I was literally speaking english the entire time. Turns out people dont know that mirrors are all around them and that you can see the gestures and faces they make at people. She should be more respectful and stop judging people by appeareances. Other than that over all cleanliness is great.

I love it better than America’s best employees that don’t care. Here they helped me and my mom out to fullest they went way out the computer was out for a while but ended up fixing it they got everyone as fast as they could there was only one employee at the register checking them out but she did and amazing for not freaking out and getting annoyed she just did a great customer service this was on 9/23/2020

Super friendly staff. Efficient. I was in and out in no time, without an appointment. I asked for their opinions of the ones I chose. And there was no mocking. I even had a new experience with digital technology. Awesome! Nathan helped me up front and had excellent customer service, was super friendly and humorous. He even said I could bring my designers and he would get some lens made for them.

The variety of glasses was great and customer service was out of this world. The associate that helped me was fast, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Would recommend this store to any and everybody I know that needs glasses.

I have worked in optical in the past I was very shocked at the sales tactics that the sales manager Lakeisha Booker used she basically lied to me told me that I had to upgrade to very expensive lenses because that is what the doctor wrote the prescription for and it was federal law having worked in optical I knew this was not true but she would not listen to me. Then she had the nerve to get an attitude with me because I explained to her that what she was telling me was not true. She told me to go somewhere else so I did and did not have to spend the fortune she was trying to get me to.

This place is awesome. My appointment was virtual and amazing. The staff are great and I ordered two pair of glasses which arrived a week later. Very reasonable price!! Go check them out in Cedar Hill. Lakeisha the sales mgr was fantastic as well as Jasmine and Shauna The branch manager. 🤗💕❤💕❤

My eye lab was a good eye glass shop,designed to be unique and different from other competitors. The optician was very professional with good equipments and skill.The discounts were good -eye exam and two glasses for $65 with decent glasses and glass case and cloth cover.They also have free fix for screws and refills of glass cleaners with google reviews and great staff.

Took my mother in law in to schedule an appointment for an eye exam today. We were greeted very rudely by the first lady at the front counter another employee came up and apologized and while attempting to schedule an appointment for my mother in law the first lady who was very rude to us was also very rude and talking very ugly to her coworker who was trying to schedule our appointment. When I asked where the manager was because I wanted to complain I was told the lady who was rude to us was the sales manager on duty. I believe her name was Laketia Booker. I will not be taking my mother in law back for an appointment at a place that not only is the manager rude to the customers but also treats the employees badly. I feel for the poor girl that was trying to help us.

Eyelab has a great service and consists of great employees who are very detailed in their service towards customers. I came here for the 2 for $59 deal and the experience was great. They got in for the free exam, gave me a chance to pick out some nice glasses, and got my order scheduled for pick up. I would definitely come back in the future.

Both are my eyes are a different prescription which is normal however, the doctor did not prescribe the right prescription and I can only see clearly from one eye. No real doctor. Claimed they could not take my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket.Never again.

So many good things to say! I just moved back home from college and was dreading having to look for a new place for my optical needs. This place is amazing the minute I walked in I was greeted and informed about their specials. They have great deals and a variety of frames; something for everyone. The staff is nice, but the office is unorganized. My appointment was on July 17 and I still have not received my glasses. Its difficult to reach a live person over the phone and when I finally reached someone, the person hung up on me after telling me that covid-19 is causing delay in glasses being shipped to the store. I paid $350 out of pocket with insurance.

I made an effort to go to the cedar hill location after being disappointed at the Arlington store. It was worth the drive to cedar hill store.I was welcomed by store manager Shawna Moore and she took care of my warranty issues. She went out of her Way to fix one of my daughters eye glass on spot and the second pair she turned it in for warranty for the chip on the glass. I had a good experience at this branch compared to the store in Arlington who’s manager was least helpful.She earned my respect and future business. I’ll recommend this Eyelab to all.

I have not been to this particular location but have been to another. My Eye Lab has many eyeglass frame choices. I was shocked on to recently see an employee attacked by a customer bc the employee asked this client to put on a mask due to Covid-19 per company policy [ on video].. Its sad that clients do not realize how hard employees work and they are not our public servants so STOP abusing these hard working people!

Its the people that work there. Helpful, friendly and loving. They look out for the customer not just the money. As a Christian is was a joy working with another sister in Christ. I will always come here.

Proceed with caution. This was our experience, hopefully theyre making improvements. My daughter went alone for her exam. They did two exams (same day) but they were both incorrect and my daughter couldnt see out of the samples they tried giving her. The exam was in a room with the TV monitor projecting the doctor on screen. Because her prescription was completely wrong they asked her to come back when the actual doctor was in, 3 days later. This time I went with her. The doctor begins the exam in her office and she notices my daughter has her contacts in. Apparently no one asked her to remove them, even though the air puff test was done a total of three times. So three exams later we finally get her prescription and Nathan at the front counter tells me they arent officiated yet (because theyre so new) to take Eyemed Insurance. However, it shows on their website as accepted insurance. They werent able to apply my benefits to her contact lens order and wanted to charge us the full price. We just paid for the exam and fitting fee and left. I ordered the contacts online for absolutely zero amount due. Again, this was my experience, I hope yours is better but I would proceed with caution.

This place is a joke, had appointment for 4:15 and I don’t mind waiting for a little but 45 minutes later, after our set time, we still were not the next patients up. If someone has an appointment they should have priority over walk ins, not here I guess. Saw one of the people before us see the doctor who was on a television set and not in person, kinda sketchy. Would not go back.

To be open for just a short time the customer service is on point. Egar to help the customers and a great selection of frames. My very picky teenager was able to pick not one but 2 frames and within price range. Plus very stylish! Juan was knowledgeable of eye wear.

Im big on customer service and hate it when its not achieved. walked in this morning, opened the door for a lady to let her in first. she was greeted (i guess they greeted both of us at the same time). she was taken to the back, i assume for an exam. i went straight to the frames because thats why i was there. 2-3 other customers came in after me. they were all greeted and helped. i took my time intentionally looking for some new frames, but no one asked if i needed any help. i walked back and forth looking at the mens frames. i know i was there at least 8-10 minutes – even tried on a few. no one asked if i needed any assistance. that bothers me. after one more customer came in and was greeted and helped, that was my cue to leave. not going back. i tried to be optimistic and thought that maybe they assumed the lady and i were together, even though we came in from different directions. but thats an assumption. and even if we did, i still needed some help. i had just gotten my eyes examined from another place and went in there to look for some frames in their large selection. well, i didnt really find anything. i guess thats a good thing. ill spend my money elsewhere.

Had a great experience here. Even though they were packed and we had to wait some time to get the eye exam, the staff was friendly and made sure that we still had a pleasant experience. Octavio was very helpful and extremely attentive to our taste in frames. Would highly recommend.

I have been wearing glasses since grade school and now does my daughter. We had the privilege of working with Ms. Lakeisha at Eyelab in Cedar Hill. She provided excellent customer service and was able to assist us with finding the perfect glasses. I highly recommend this location and working with Ms. Lakeisha. Go check her out!

Eyelab is one of kind and I really enjoyed the customer service that they provided. The day I visited Eyelab, I had just had the worst experience at American Best. I literally walked out , no warmth, non-friendly, caring and rude! The movement I walked into Eye-lab I was greeted with warmth courteously and friendly customer service from everyone I encountered. Juan was great and worked out great add-ons to my final bill. They even stayed on after closing without any rushing, or complaints. Thanks Eye-Lab for a great experience. I recommend highly.

I could not have had a worse experience .Not an optometrist in the place . My employ was well trained at being elusive . The pricing my be set up to trick old people . As for as my glasses go , theyre barely usable . I thought Id give them some time . I dont have that much time . The bifocal is useless . Its so far down I have to physically lift the glasses to see through them . Finally , their pricing is pathetic. I bought two pair , first pair $434.00 , second pair free . Was told they saved me $ 678.00 . Wont go back . They do not know how to make glasses , but , they know how to move them .

The experience was excellent. All of techs were knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Jasmine went above and beyond helping me find those perfect lenses. I would definitely recommend them. Will return to get the other glasses.

The eye doctor did an excellent job prescribing the proper lenses. It was down hill after that. After waiting one full month for my new glasses to arrive, I was disappointed to find the bifocal section completely missing. Then, one full month later again, the glasses show up having the missing bifocal section only to not have the feature that adjusts the tint of the lenses to light changes missing. Rather than wait another month for my glasses to get fixed correctly, I decided to cut my losses and take my business somewhere else.

Shawna and LaKeisha is phenomenal I am so grateful that I Googled and went there for my examination I had never been in an examination with virtual reality or Zoom it was cool did the same thing Ive been doing all my life cuz Ive been wearing glasses since I was 10 so thank you again my eyelab Cedar Hill Texas SHALUM

Friendly and attentive, fast service, all around a great place for your eyes. My eyesight has improved so much with this prescription, not going anywhere else.

Customer service is great. As for the price it was way more than the advertised price. And if you need glasses fast, you may need to go elsewhere because I was told 2 weeks and found out it would be another week before they were ready. So it will be around 3 or 4 weeks. After 4 weeks my glasses were ready, but one if the pairs lenses was the wrong prescription. I do not recommend this place. So they sent the glasses back to the lab. And today 6/15/2019 I received a call saying my glasses were sent to a other store so it will be a other 3 weeks. I just asked for a refund.

Myeyelab offers a very cool and modernized approach to eye exams. The frame selections are awesome and the customer service is phenomenal. I look forward to coming back for more sunglasses. Shawna was the best and made me feel comfortable about the selection process and pricing.
