Was Travling on. 34 day trip of the west Had trouble with my Dodge diesel. They preformed a complete engine check replaced in intake manifold in one day and had me on the road again. Very best people around.

I normally dont post Reviews, but this shop has saved me twice. Once a few years ago as we began our trip from St. George to Michigan pulling our trailer. We got to Cedar and our truck was blowing a lot of exhaust. They got it in and us back on the road, THAT day 😯😁 Now fast forward a few years, I contacted them and got an appointment (remembering them from before). They got me a date to bring it in a week or so later on a Thursday. We dropped it off the night before (we live in LaVerkin). We were thinking they would have the truck into the next week and with that being our only vehicle I rented a car to get to and from to work. They called us Friday morning and told us it was done 🤯 one day 🤯 they had replaced both manifolds and fixed a coolant leak, along with a bunch of other things. They are amazing!! On a long road trip from Alaska with our 2006 Dodge Cummins Dually and Bigfoot truck camper when we developed a slow oil leak and intermittent squeal. After reading endless positive reviews of Smith DieselPerformance we stopped in first thing this morning with no appointment. Even though they are booked out a week on service they took the ORKA right back and diagnosed the leak source as well as the likely squeak source. Excellent fast, friendly, and honest service. We highly recommend these folks.

Mr Chad is a gentleman, he was very kind to me, and he answered all my questions. He fixed radiator on my 2002 7.3 powerstroke. He runs a respectable business and his work was appreciated. I have a problem with my F350, I took it to Smith Diesel to get a diagnosis and was treated with efficient and courteous attention. An initial diagnosis pointed to a bad injector system, and an appointment was set for a week away to proceed with diagnosis and required repairs. I had tried to get in at other facilities, discovering that this a very busy time for work being done in Diesel repairs. I sense that I will be treated professionally.

Kyle and Joe were great. Was in town on a family vacation and my f450 lost power with a busted turbo boot. They were very accommodating and understood my anxiety with being able to get back on track to keep the family vacation going. Im glad there are still businesses like this open during this frustrating time. Thanks guys.

Smith Diesel Performance is amazing. The RAM dealer had my truck an entire week while both of their Diesel mechanics were unable to repair my problem. They ultimately replaced the engine air filter and said it was fixed. I told them I didnt agree and 400 miles later found myself broken down at Smith Diesel Performance. In less than 30 minutes they had my truck running better than ever. Ive since driven through Colorado and across the country to New York and it feels better with every mile that I put on. Its like my trailer isnt even there.

I had a what I thought was a small issue with my dpf but when Kyle came out and checked it he noticed it wasnt reading correctly. When he saw that he got under and checked it and found a broken sensor. He advised I shouldnt drive on it but I had to be at work the next day 5 hours north. They were very accommodating and got me in same day. I appreciate the work they did and its quality work.

I had the 48RE transmission rebuilt in my 2007 Dodge ram 2500, a week later I drove 3500 miles cross country with no issues. These guys were up front honest and kept me informed of the progress of my rebuild. I highly recommend if you have transmission issues taking your truck to them.

I havent done business here. I was looking for help with a isuzu box truck. Even though they knew they wouldnt work on my truck they spent the time on the phone to help me try and find a solution to my dpf system. They recommended me to a place. I have been sending friends and family to Kyle and Ryan for years, I have personally used them as well for a few of my personal trucks. They are always professional and very honest with the cost and time frame on repairs and performance mods. Recently had issues with my new 2014 Dodge Ram DEF system and they were able to get my truck fixed and running better then ever when the dodge factory warranty wouldnt cover the costs. Driving through Utah and experienced the Duramax LLY injector failure. Made it to Smith and they squeezed us in and got us back on the road in under 3 hours. Very knowledgeable and really great people. Highly recommended!

Im glad that I found the local Chevy dealer because they sent me here. Traveling home to North Idaho our truck broke down. I was able to limp it in to the local dealer who said they would not be able to help me for several days. They referred me to SDP and Im so glad they did. Ryan worked with me for long after close and said he would squeeze me in the next day to get us back on the road. It cost me about half of what the dealer would have charged to fix it. I experienced and unfortunate breakdown near cedar city the tow truck driver was taking me to the ford dealership when he mention how good of work smith diesel did so I gambled and did it ever pay off great people to work with my truck is what make my living they put a new 6.4 powerstroke in my truck in just over a week. Where to start. first had them preform a engine swap in my powerstroke yes it was a used engine and i was aware of issues that may arise from that. however i knew it was in good running order aside from needing the correct injectors put back in that was one of the few things done correct. second had them install a wicked wheel in the turbo which i love and it works great other than the bolts keep backing out on the housing they said its a common problem and they will send me some spare bolts to put back in and have yet to recive them. so after a few times of it being in and out of there shop. in which it sat for weeks at a time sometimes up to a month even though they kept giving me time frames of a week or two weeks. i gave up on taking it to them. since then i have found stupid little issues that shouldnt have been over looked by their mechanics during the swap and replacment of parts such as. driverside battery ground cable flapping in the frame and neither battery holders put back on now i have a hole in driverside battery from it rubbing on the battery tray. im sure there are other gremlins that have not creeped out on me yet but ill cross that bridge when we get there.

SDP really impressed me, and saved my weekend. Headed through back to AZ in the middle of the night and my Duramax had an injector wire fail and without a scanner, had no idea which one it was. After freezing hands and feet checking a couple connectors without any luck, decided to find a shop and wait till daylight. I limped it in right after they opened and they said they werent sure if they could work me in. They had a parking lot full of trucks. I decided to wait and see, and about 15 minutes later one of the techs comes outside and plugs his scanner in, told me which connector it was and asked if I wanted them to fix it. It was about 17 degrees out so I said, Yes please. About an hour and some change, they had it done and only cost $200. Thank you again, you guys were awesome!

Great Place To Deal With Recommend Them

Single mom driving from San Diego to Denver. My brother had just dropped a grand here the week before after he broke down in the same spot and referred me to this place. I asked if he could read the code on my Jeep so I knew what I was up against before I continued on my trip. The guy acted so put out and bothered to hook a code reader up to it becuase he knew he wouldnt be able to do any work on my car. I continued on down the road to Red Rocks where they helped me fix it in a few hours, no problem.

I have been using their services for over 5 years. They have always been honest and fair with me. I have had 2 repairs where the part failed. One was over a year after they replaced it (water pump). The replaced it no questions asked. The second was a faulty AC compressor. It faild after two days. It was just a bad part nothing to do with there work. Again problem correct no questions asked. They even replacef the other AC components in case they wrre contaminated/damaged by the faulty compressor.
