I am so thankful and impressed with the customer service from this Discount Tire. We blew out a tire in Palm Desert coming from San Diego, and had a horrible afternoon trying to get things sorted. The men at Discount Tire were attentive, helpful, understanding and helped to get us back on the road in less than an hour. They explained the type of tire I was getting, applied discounts where they were able, and made us feel like were important, just like everyone else they were serving while we were there. I highly recommend this store, and kudos to the team running it. Many thanks, my friends!

I had an emergency flat tire on a Sunday. Left the car in the parking lot and they took me on Monday morning without an appointment and had four tires installed within two hours. Lifesavers, and what a deal buy two tires get two free can’t beat that!

I bought four tires from this place they got three on but they seem to failed to get the fourth one on they tell me to come back on Monday I go back on Monday I sit in the lobby for three hours waiting and still they have not fix the problem they couldn’t get the Lugnuts off what’s so hard about getting Lugnuts off then he tells me I have to wait until Tuesday to get it done so they can bring the extractor to get the bolts off I go back today I called them they told me they submitted a refund for the mount balance of the tire but they failed to say that they didn’t even do the front in alignment or anything to that effect I would never take my car back to this place again

Just went to this tire shop, i so disappointed with them, i bought my tires there and pay extra for the rotation, balance and alignment. But every time i go there to get this simple job, they dont do it right. Just because they feel like they are doing it for free but i already pay in advance. I took my car to get the tire rotation, balance and air pressure check, brought my car at 11:00am in the morning, went home they close at 5:00pm around 4:15 pm i had to call them cuz they were about to. Close the shop, and at that time i havent received a call from them, as soon i called them at that time 4:14 they started working on my car . They had my car parked there for more than five hours, didnt do anything until I called them, and all they did was that balance on a tire, and when I let them know they told me oh you just told to do the balance

First visit to them, but they had the tire size we needed. Dropped off all fine they called a bit later said needed front brakes and alignment. I declined later when I picked up and got home there was no alignment readings. Just a hand written note saying alignment bad. I called they said printer not working, makes it look like to me they never did it just trying to add cost.

I had no idea they did more than tires! Ive been driving around in the desert with no air conditioning for months worried about the expense it will cost to fix.... Jesse was awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a new air condition checking machine. It was half the price to check for leaks than 2 mechanic shops I had called. I dont know the technical term, but all it needed was to be reset/booted/cleaned out(?). Everything was done within an hour. Easily I could have been taken advantage of somewhere else. They were honest and did a great job for a fair price. I will definitely use Discount Tire Centers services in the future.

I needed to have a tire repaired and stopped by Discount Tire Center on Ramon. I was greeted with a smile, the guys at the shop where friendly and above all honest, i was in and out in no time. Thanks for the great service.

Customer service is horrible I honestly feel like I was be discriminated against and I was in there trying to get 4 new tires and I was totally disrespected and disregarded I highly do not recommend this establishment

One tire had a chunk missing and the manager said it was cosmetic. Ive never found any part of a tire to be for show which is what cosmetic would be. Every part of the tire is functional. My tires had warranty that covered road hazard and the manager refused to warranty that tire. He said he would cover it if it blew out. I was like... Thats dangerous to have a damaged tire and wait until it blows out to do anything about it.Second, another tire had separated. That tire the manager was going to warranty but he was going to charge me $100 to mount and balance the one tire. It was their defective tire and they still were going to charge me.I literally went down the road and bought new tires.The manager at this location is untrustworthy and is willing to put my family in danger with broken, damaged and defective tires on our vehicle.

Pot holes on CA freeways are impossible to miss. This place fixed the suspension on my last car perfectly, and the fixed my alignment on the current car. Gladly it was only an alignment this time.They have been great each time. But, it is best to make an appointment first.

Valpak ad offers $15 conventional oil change with multi-point inspection, tire rotation, brake check, fluids filled and more.1st - Sorry sir we are out of that oil but we can offer you the $50 oil change.. No discount or anything just this or nothing. Well hell! I would like the inspections and do need an oil change and rotation so ok let’s move forward. BTW: I just this week changed air filters for cabin and engine and wiper blades.2nd - Oh sir my tech says you need new air filter! Your coolant is low so you need a radiator flush. Brakes look ok but you should flush the system fluid is dirty. me: No thank you on the flush and i already told you that is literally only a 4 day old air filter!3rd - One of your tires is barely at treadlife threshold.. I can sell you two tires for $xxx..me: No thank you. but please rotate. mgr: Sorry sir we have policy about not touching tires if we deem them too low of tread! me: Well hell again! my tires are not bald, it’s front wheel drive and i would like the best tires (rear) put up front.. Can’t/won’t do it!4th - Battery has a dead cell.. Would you like to buy one from us? me: no thank you but I’ll take care of it.store techs: Leave battery cover / PCM housing loose and unclipped just laying on top!5th - Your car is ready! - that will be $68 — me: find additional $10 oil additive and other fees added to receipt for my $50 oil change.6th - Went to AutoZone to purchase battery. Found cover loose and laying on top of battery. Noticed NONE of my fluids had been topped off. Coolant, Washer, Brake. BTW: Autozone Cathedral City installed new battery for free within 15minutes of purchase!Summary! They did only bare minimum oil change (that now i’m not sure i trust) of what they offered and published. Did not perform other tasks associated with upcharged service! I was first in store at 8:30 am before going to work. Traveling in vehicle soon and still need to get the services I feel I paid for completed and am not confident about the work they did do.Guess they need to stick to selling and installing tires!

Bought 4 tires. I was told that it would take 1:15 hours. Took 2:30...Employees, including at the reception DONT wear masks, even though mandated by the state & the City!I should have walked away...Other than that they were ok.

Had a screw in the side wall of my left front tire. A place where it cannot be repaired due two flexing. I knew before I called them that one should never change just one tire. I needed to change both front tires otherwise they would be different sizes due to wear on the old tire.No one had the original tires for my car in stock however they said they could get it overnight and have it there for me in the morning. They gave me a great price and they stuck to that price right to the penny no additional charges. I was very pleased with them and I would recommend anyone try them.

So disappointed came in to get my car some tires and an alignment but instead I get told to sit down and wait my turn. So I sat down and waited just to see them take someones else before me like I have not been waiting. Just completely ignored me!. SLOPPY customer service:On a road trip from Washington state, I blew a tire late 4/13/21 on my 2020 Honda Fit in Cathedral City, CA near Palm Springs. I wanted to be sure to find a well known national chain in case of a warranty problem in the future, and Discount Tire Center was close enough to drive to with the spare.I was uncomfortable from the beginning, as the manager and several people in the lobby were unmasked, despite California state mandates, and company signs requiring masks due to COVID. (The website says people are to wait outside for safety.) I mentioned it to the manager - he just said to stand back. He would not put on a mask. But I had few options at that point.The manager was pleasant but argumentative; it took me 10 min to get him to spend 1 minute and look and see that my rim was indeed bent. (I was leaving town the next day and could not wait for one to be ordered and delivered.) They had to order a tire, which turned out NOT to be the right size, but later found one in stock (hmm....?)The new tire was installed on time as promised, and they were able to make the existing rim work OK, but I noticed the hubcap was missing on the new tire. It is (slightly) possible that I lost it the night before, putting on the spare, but it seems sloppy that it was not brought to my attention, such as “would you like us to order you a new one?” I asked for them to look around just to be sure, and was met with indignance. (It is not a high end - it never occurred to me that anyone would steal it.) I asked about the other 3 tires’ pressure and was assured that they checked all four. Later that night, I checked, and all four tires were at different pressures.Next morning, preparing to leave town, I went back to have them checked; they added air and “checked” to be sure. I also noticed the tire pressure monitoring system indicator light on the dashboard was still on, and asked for them to reset it. The manger told me they could not reset it; all I had to do was drive it around a mile or two.So, out of town I went, drove about 40 miles and noticed the ride was still pretty rough, and the indicator light was still on. I checked the pressure on my own: two of the tires were well over 40 PSI (supposed to be 33 PSI cold, so conceivably could be 38-39 with driving a half hour), but two were around 30 PSI — AFTER driving in hot weather....well under the safe recommended pressure. I have a disabled passenger who doesn’t need a traffic accident on top of everything else. A blowout at freeway speeds? Not good.I can’t say if corners were cut deliberately, or if the staff simply needs more training in 1) auto technology, 2) customer service, 3) health safety protocols for the well being of customers and staff. By the way, I was able to eventually re-set the tire pressure indicator light—on my own— with a simple phone call to my dealership back home . I can’t say this applies to all Discount Tire Centers, but I’d say this one is one to avoid.

Great job on the price. Although, you can tell those workers know theyre getting paid by the hour and not by car completed. I waited over 4hrs for a fix on an alignment that I had just got two weeks before and a check on a faulty tire that I got a month before. Thats terrible. I guess I got what I paid for.

Theyre quick to sell you some tires but it when it comes down to rotating your tires as part of the sales contract they are never available or they want you to wait three hours after you made an appointment and when you go in there their employees arent wearing masks like the city, county and State mandate

I went in with no appointment and a flat tire on a dually truck, within 45 minutes I was back on the road. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, every customer who came in while we were there got prompt service and seemed happy with the work done and cost of service.I would definitely go back for tires and service, not to mention that there is really good Mexican ice cream right across the street!

They told me one price. They said all included is out the door, but they always tell you come back tomorrow and when you come back they give you another price more expensive,they always said they dont included taxes or insurance so they nail you with more money thats why 50% of people walk out I DONT RECOMMEND it at all especially if you go there to have a repair with the Hazzard Insurance they will take forever to get it fix they sucks....

I see a tire special online, but no mention of it when there in person. I needed an oil change the other day so I walk in. I spoke with a gentleman and he said hes so behind on cars its going to be couple of hours. I decided to ask him when would be the best time for HIM so I could come back. He said 2 or 3. I picked 3 to give him time for lunch, so I left. I came back 15 mins till 3 and he tells me he got super slammed and wont be free for another couple of hours, like 2-3 hours later. I got upset and said no. I gave you the chance to tell me when to come back and here I am. We continued to exchange words and told him that was poor customer service. He tells me he will get started on my car asap and to wait 30 mins or so, so I take a seat in the office. 2 different customer at different times come in while I wait and are told the EXACT SAME THING, mind you this is their second visit to the store like me. They were told the same story of how slammed they have been even though one was told to come in the NEXT DAY for an appt just like me!! And the other was told earlier that morning to come back later in the day. I know you never want to turn customers away cuz your full up but be honest!! say your not taking cars if your that busy. Do not make an appointment and not keep it and then sell us the same excuse after you tell us to come back. As I wait the office became filled with some upset poorly treated customers and the phone rings and I couldnt believe my ears. To add more to the sour experience a customer from different town called in about his tires that were going balled in the middle. The gentleman who was helping us told him that he would take his info down, although idk why their local shop told the customer to call his store thats more than 15 miles away from home to get assistance with a warranty that he knows nothing about. He also told the customer on the phone that the DM MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT CALL HIM BACK to follow up with his issue and that he cant give the customer any contact info for his DM!! LOL!! What kind of business is this?? The Regional manager needs to step in and have a talk with their DM and the associates that work there because that is just ridiculous. Hire extra hands and talk to your other store that is just making customers chase their own tail FOR PRODUCTS YOU SOLD THEM AND DONT WANT TO MAINTAIN OR EVEN ASSIST THEM WITH. Shame on you! All of you. Ill make sure I wont buy any products from you because I wont get help if something happens.

New owners as of 2/15/19 when I went in. Owner sucks, manager is even worse. He smokes inside the back of the shop and in the office where people are waiting. I’ve been going there for 10 years and I’ll never go back again. Someone should look into this manager for smoking in the back of the shop next to extremely flammable materials. I had to wait for 1 hour outside with my 7 year old son in the heat because of the cigarette smoke.UPDATE!!I was contacted by the Vice President of the company and had a long talk with him. He assured me that all the issues with this store were dealt with based on my reviews. Very stand up guy and offered me an incentive to go back 1 more time to earn back my business. I appreciate customer service like that.

Jose is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He took me into the shop while my car was up and explained exactly what the problems were.After my repairs were finished, Ken, the store manager picked me up at my place and brought me back to the shop.Good prices on tires and competitive labor costs! Get the warranty on your tires...well worth the 12 bucks. They will honor it at any Discount Tire.No complaints. Friendly and efficient crew. They do all kinds of auto service...well.

Prices much less than dealership prices for about the same work done. My Lexus ES350 price bill was less than the Lexus Dealership, including the cabin air filters and full synthetic oil change. Very good customer service!!! Come see what services the offer and compare prices! Shop around before you go straight to the dealership.

I show up 5 mins b4 they opened. I get checked in as normal. After 45 mins I asked what is going on, since was the 2nd person in line. Well.....only one employee showed up on time, the others were an hour late. At 9:50 my car was finally taken in and serviced. 2 hours to get a tire rotation and balance. Last time I go to DISCOUNT TIRE CENTER.

It will take 1hr 15min to put on 4 new tires sir... 1hr 15 min later I return and see car unmoved... it will be 40 min more sir sorry i had an appointment come in... 30 min later they start on car.. total time to install 4 new tires 2.5 hrs + ... dont be in a hurry here.

I am very grateful with this store because they took care of me when my tires went bad way before expected. I purchased Pirelli Cinturato p7s from this store. I went in for tire rotation, balancing and even alignments at least every 5k miles. The tires lasted me 25,467 but the tread was past 4/32 wear mark. I did not give them 5 stars because although i took the tires in for maintenance they never advised my tires needed replacement. I brought a tire in for a flat repair and learned my tires needed to be replaced. I also learned there was mis-alignment wear even though the car was brought to be aligned at the same store (this makes me think i was lied to on i dont know how many occasions). The manager explained the store was under new management and was aware of issues in the past. I received a significant discount for new tires but felt like the manager still wanted to partially blame me for the early wear on the Pirelli tires. The end result was good but not without hesitation from management. I had to drive around on a donut spare for 1 day while the store manager spoke to regional manager and/or Pirelli for their 70k mile tread life warranty. I got a prorated discount on new set of tires and was allowed to use a different brand.

Bought new tires from here in April. Had been needing air in all four a few weeks, finally went in for it, dont like that but will find out why later. Service was quick and they were very courteous.

Ive been here for almost an hour waiting for them to change my tire that I already have off the car. It wasnt until I got out of my car that they seen I was growing impatient and finally started doing something. Would never come here again anywhere else u will be out In less than 10 mins.

WARNING!!!I took my car in for a simple tire rotation. The mechanic had barely lifted my car when he came in claiming that my car needed rear shocks. Which would be about $300. I have interned at a car shop before and a lot of red flags started going up. I have taken my car to two other shops and they have inspected my car. They both have said there is nothing wrong with my shocks. They asked if I was told why they needed to be replaced. I was told by your mechanic that the fluids were low. There is no way to check the fluids and have been told this by the multiple shops Ive talked to as well. All 6 shops Ive talked to are left speechless by this. I know because im a woman shops think they can pull a fast one. I would get a second, third or fourth opinion. This is a scam, unfortunately im sure many have fallen for it.

We came in with flat on new car just 20k miles.. Tried to sell us 4 tires $500 right off bat (so much for buy 2 get 2 bs advertising ).... Ended being $29 at another place to fix puncture.. Tires still new so crazy they try to sell us 4 new tires on an almost new car.. Be careful many auto service places are great scammers..usually never a deal
