Great service! My husband needed an appointment quickly due to severe ear pain and they were able to work us in and help to resolve the issue.

I had a great experience. The doctors and nurses were very personable and really listened to my needs. They took the time needed to really get it right. I went there for a second opinion and I’m glad I did cause their diagnosis was the correct one that resulted in feeling better much sooner. The only things I didn’t like were that there’s a BUNCH of paper work and that there were questions like religious affiliation. I left it blank and didn’t have any issues so it wasn’t a huge deal just jumped out as weird to me.

Doctors are fantastic but the office and billing department are absolutely the worst! Poor communication and not up front with cost of the visits or services. And beware they will take unauthorized funds out of your account with out an explanation or warning! This was the most ridiculous doctors office I have ever dealt with bar none!

PCP referred me for the nastiest looking inner ear hes ever seen. Said it was about to rupture and to get it taken care of immediately. So called medical professionals refused to see me because I didnt pass their covid pre screening. If we cant get medical attention when we need it most what good are they.

Exceptional Service starting with Dr. Mann and the staff that works there . Melissa and sharon who work the front desk michele in billing whos always very helpful when i need assistance with any billing concerns and ben and yokaska who are other employees there and a select few others i forgot their names but everyone who works here do take much pride in their jobs their work ethics are up to par very professional and courteous to all who walk in there and if any of the employess here are up for a review and or promotion or a raise in pay all i can say is very well deserve but getting back to Dr. Mann what can i say he is very thorough in his field and has gain the reputation of being an awesome Doctor by far and i would recomend anyone seeking ENT services.

Horrible, unprofessional and inappropriate job by Dr. Mann. Doesnt even deserve a Dr. Title. The nurses were great and extremely helpful and professional. Had been to 3 previous medical professionals for two swollen and one infected lymph nodes under my ears. Confirmed by an ultrasound at hospital. After being called back, one nurse sent for Dr.Mann right away because they felt my condition was peculiar and wanted him to see this for himslef immediately. When he walked in you could tell he was annoyed that they pulled him away from something. He then says after 3 seconds from entering the room that hes diagnosing me with cysts with out asking me any history or symptoms and not even checking the data on the computer the nurses were logging in. I had tell him about the ultrasound and other 3 visits from urgent care and my primary care. He then says he wants to debate the ulrasound and that i have a wild imagination. These are his words. I was offended and completely caught off guard. I was frustrated fast after that and wanted to choke the old man by his stethoscope, but knew i couldnt obviously. I wasted 95 dollars that day. I needed that money because i dont make a lot but thought it was going to a good cause for my health and finally getting to the bottom of my 15 year mystery condition. Nope. He just wasted time and money.

Staff was organized and friendly. They took wonderful care of my elderly mother during her appointment for a hearing exam and testing.

First Review from July 2020: I am recovering from a tonsil ablation surgery from Mann ENT. I have suffered from recurring tonsil stones for many years. The stones were so persistent that I had terrible breath all the time and I would have to fish out stones daily which was embarrassing, painful, and time consuming.I googled remedies and came across information about the procedure. I immediately decided that I wanted to have it done and I booked an appointment with Mann ENT at the Clayton location. During the consultation, Doctor Spector was professional and supportive. He was able to book me for surgery in Cary two weeks after my initial visit. I was pumped!Updated Review November 2020: So, I ended up being unlucky and the tonsil stones came back after the tonsil ablation procedure. Afterwards, Dr. Spector removed my tonsils in September and things have been great since then. Tonsillectomy is a major surgery, especially for an adult. I was a nervous wreck prior to the procedure but the staff was really good at calming me down. It was SO much better than I expected. I found all kinds of horror stories on Reddit about excruciating pain. I did not experience the level of pain that I expected. Im pretty much completely healed now and all of the problems I had before the surgery are solved. Im still glad I tried tonsil ablation first, just because it was worth a shot before diving right into full-on tonsil removal. Thanks Dr. Spector and the Mann ENT staff!The surgery itself was way easier and affordable than I expected. I was done with surgery in 30 minutes and the pain was manageable. There is some moderate pain during recovery but the results are worth it. There is a 30% chance of the tonsil stones recurring but since the surgery was such a breeze, Ill be alright if I need a 2nd or 3rd surgery. Id recommend tonsil ablation at Mann ENT to anyone suffering from severe tonsil stones.

I would definitely recommend Mann Ear Nose & Throat and their Allergy Clinic to friends and family. I go in for allergy shots once a week (Ive been doing this for 4 years) and Yokasta is FANTASTIC! She is professional, cheerful, caring, and excellent at her job. I look forward to seeing her every week. Dr. Mann is also FANTASTIC. Ive been seeing him for over 10 years. He did my sinus surgery 8 years ago and my sinuses have been so much better ever since. This practice deserves a 5 star rating.

Dr. Spector is excellent! He takes his time explaining procedures, diagnosis, medication/treatment pros and cons, etc. I never feel rushed and always feel comfortable asking questions. I also feel that he is a great listener and is able to gather more information to better treat me because he is such an intent listener. I always feel like he values and cares about his patients.

Awesome nurses and front desk staff. Easy parking. This doctor has been amazing. My daughter has been dealing with ent issues since birth. Every Ent specialist she has seen for 32 years had not been as attentive and knowledgeable. Took the time to actually care and do ct scans, etc. He discovered missing cartridge that had contributed to her ear issues. Dr. Mann is a superior in his field.

Weve been seeing Dr. Jones at Mann ENT for years and couldnt be more pleased. My 5-year-old son is a regular, and Dr. Jones and his staff are wonderful with him. His bow ties are a hit, and my son and I always try to guess what the colors will be. We highly recommend them!

I thought all the staff were very courteous and helpful. Dr. Mann knew exactly what to prescribe for my visit. I had a long wait as my appointment was at 4:00 and I did not see the doctor until 4:50. I felt better when the nurse apologized to me at the end of my visit for the delay today and said they had a patient with an emergency that had to be seen immediately which delayed everything that followed that afternoon.

Dr. Mann is a great ENT however, he was very short with me during this visit. He had a student with him. He talked to her during the entire visit. I found myself having to ask him the question 2x to get an answer. Next time Ill ask before I make an appointment. Did not appreciate the treatment.

Doctors are fine. However the scheduling is terrible. The appts are never on time. And I don’t mean like 15 mins here or there. I mean 30-45mins past your appt time. That’s absurd and means there is zero compassion for people’s time and experience. Stop scheduling so many patients so close together, it’s an easy fix... I would not recommend this place just for that issue - find a place that actually cares about you and your time.

No up front discourse on cost before services. Initial consultation lasted less than 10 minutes with no labs or tests and they charged $382. This is before allergy testing. Just be aware before you go. Absolutely outrageous price gouging with zero up front transparency

Dr. Jared Spector is professional, courteous & down to earth. My daughter has had an ongoing issue & he has been able to pinpoint it & treat her accordingly. I was seeing another doctor in the practice & after seeing him, my personality is a much better fit. He will be my ENT from this point on. The staff is awesome.

It happens to me 2years ago. If you want to treat mucocelle just go and ask your dentist instead of ENT. However family doctor probably will make referral to the ENT clinic.I had bad experience with Dr.Mann, at Cary office. I had mucocele and he suggested to remove it. 1st visit- taking biopsy , 2nd visit- removal. Then in 1 month, its came up again, 3rd visit, biopsy and removal again. 4th visit follow up appointment. Then in 1 week it came up again. The interval between appointments was 1+ month.Now I have unresolved mucocelle problem, a lot of expenses for each visit. When I checked how it supposed to be treated, it is completely different how it was made. It was look like doctor tried to treat symptoms but not the problem. Now Im looking for another doctor who did this treatment before.

Dr. Spector is patient! He took his time to explain and show me on pictures what is going on with my sons tonsils. He also informed me of other possible options. Thank you Dr. Spector and wonderful staff!

On 4/17/2017 I had Balloon Sinuplasty surgery at Mann, Ear & Throat Clinic, PA. I could not had been more satisfied with the entire staff and Dr. Charles H. Man, MD. They provided me with courtesy and explain the entire procedure in detail so I felt comfortable in their hands. I highly recommend their ENT practice for great results. One day later I have not discomfort at all.

Awesome experience. Had sinus congestion that wouldnt go away. Went to Dr. Jones and he discussed my options and what the next steps were and what was cost effective. He showed that he actually cared and it frustrated him when the treatment is right in front of you but the insurance denies it saying you dont need that.Great place and they will work with you on the bill as well.

The ER was more helpful than Dr. Jones. Dr. Jones hurt me. Took me a year to recover partially. Wish I never went there. They made things worse and could have helped me. Went to see Dr Douglas Holmes in Raleigh, and he was a blessing for sure. I cant thank Dr Holmes enough for helping me. Mann ENT is a joke and dangerous too. I hope this saves someone from a similar situation. Beware of this place.

My family has used Dr. Mann in the past and I guess I should have requested him. Dr. Jones is the biggest jerk and I will never be coming back. He belittled me and my symptoms, and while he hadn’t even looked at my throat yet suggested I get my tonsils out, then said I had acid reflux and prescribed and anti acid then said maybe throat cancer but bc I’m not a smoker I don’t fit the profile.... when I came for the visit bc of a growth on my throat and have a history of cancer in my family. He prescribed me an anti acid and asked when I wanted to schedule my T&A surgery and was out of the door in less than 10 minutes. I barely said two words the entire time, he cut me off every time. Never ever ever coming back here. I work in the OR with surgeons every day and have never met such an arrogant physician. DO NOT GO HERE. Find somewhere else that has caring doctors with actual bedside manor and have your best interest at heart.

Ive been a Patient with Mann ENT since 2006. I have to say I have received excellent medical care by both Dr. Mann as well as with Dr. Jones. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable.

This place is strictly a cash cow in my experience. So far theyve done a scope of my vocal chords, a CT scan, and an allergy test. Ive paid $1,500 OUT OF POCKET and at my last appointment was told my sinus issues were caused by sinusitis and I need antibiotics. This much extensive and expensive testing for sinusitis???At my first appointment Dr. Mann diagnosed me with Silent Reflux (aka heart burn you cant feel). He told me I had too much pH in my body and that was causing all of my problems. He prescribed me two heavy duty acid reducers and allergy medication. He insisted I needed to start a low acid diet and scheduled me for a video strobe of my throat. I did his special diet for 2 months, along with the meds, and my symptoms did not improve at all. The video strobe was completely normal - no signs or history of acid reflux whatsoever. Then came the CT scan and allergy test scheduling, even though I had insisted it couldnt be allergies because the allergy meds had no effect. When I came in for my follow up of those tests he said I had mild sinusitis and need three weeks of antibiotics, FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER CT SCAN. All of this for something a regular doctor could have diagnosed and prescribed in one appointment?! To top it off he once again diagnosed me with acid reflux!!! He had no idea wed already been down that road! Not to mention I listened to him give two other patients the exact same acid spiel while waiting an eternity to be seen! I am disgusted with this place. Im disgusted with myself for not trusting my instincts and continuing to see this swindler. Consider yourself warned!

Dr Spector is very thorough. He will spend a lot of time with you and answer all of your questions with a smile. All of the Medical Assistants are very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend Mann ENT.

Dr. Jones was dismissive and condescending. We went for a second opinion only to be rushed into surgery due to how badly things had progressed. The surgical team was horrified that it was that bad while under the care of a specialist and were further disturbed hearing the advice and attitude we received from Dr. Jones.I recommend looking elsewhere and if you do end up here, get a second opinion.

The team at Mann ENT are 1st Class! The ENT Physicians have years of experience and are ahead of the curve with new procedures and technologies to treat many different conditions.

The professionalism here is in doubt. They are greedy and give poor service. Dont let them perform surgery on you. They will botch it, deny it and then do nothing about it. They put tubes in my ears. Dr. Jones had trouble inserting the right tube. Very painful! He had trouble getting it to stay and tried multiple times. Afterwards, I could not hear out of my right ear. I came back right away and he was not available and denied on the phone to one of the PAs that he had trouble inserting the tube. The PA told me if I was still having trouble, call and come in to see them. I called and came in and they charged me again and denied the problem.If under the threat of a lawsuit you think they would come to action. I also called the billing department and they hung up on me and said the department head or manager would get back with me. I have a new phone number she didnt collect. I would not recommend this practice. Its more like Mal Practice. They are a joke and I can still not hear out of my right ear. You only have 2 ears. Do not let them maim or cripple your hearing! I called the insurance company to let them know about the situation. They said to call the clinic and the clinic told me to call the insurance provider. Good luck! I would not recommend this (Mal) practice at all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Spectors for several years. His bedside manner is terrific! If you go to an ENT doc, sooner or later, there will be a need to send a scope through your nasal cavity, down to the back of your throat. This is an uncomfortable, but not really painful, procedure. When Ive had it done, Dr. Spector moves gently and talks me through the procedure in such a soft and reassuring way. You feel like youre being hypnotized and then ... its over. Besides his wonderful manner, he has given me great medical care. He has relieved me of pain and coached me on how to avoid it in the future. I recommend him highly! I will add that the office staff members have always been friendly and efficient, making my visits to Mann ENT pleasant ones.

Ive only visited once, and left optimistic. However, weeks later, Im not thrilled. I have enough going on medically that me, wanting to be able to breathe, seems like the most obtainable. CAT scan, weeks later, results? Ive been to an express care and the e.r. (both recommended ENT) when all I want is some relief. Its impossible to sleep, even cry, when you cant breathe. Im extremely discouraged and unsure if Im more upset with a lack of concern from the office, or my insurance for limiting my options to choose a physician.

I highly recommend Dr. Jared Spector, Mann ENT - he takes time to listen to your issue and provides recommendations for treatment along with explanation of why he is making the recommendation(s). He addresses patient concerns and fully answers questions. The staff is wonderful as well, including the front desk, nurses, and Jenelle in scheduling/billing. I had an atypical case, with sudden and persistent head pressure for several months. It was debilitating. Dr. Spector recommended balloon sinuplasty, which has seemed to resolve my symptoms almost completely, a month post-surgery. The procedure and recovery were relatively straightforward - there wasnt much pain, and I had no complications. As a side note, I had gone to another ENT for a second opinion who told me that he did not recommend the procedure for me, and that he believed I had migraine. I am SO thankful I decided to go through with the surgery with Dr. Spector, despite the differing opinion, since I would still be in pain, with a low quality of life, had I listened to the other ENT. Thank you, Dr. Spector and Team!!!!

Somehow my previous review was deleted. Do not visit this office and definitely do not have surgery with any of these greedy doctors. I had a surgery for a deviated septum. Was charged about $5,000 for the operation, and after I came back to have the nose plugs taken out and aspirated (about a 10 minute ordeal), I found out that they charged $3500 to insurance! Definitely unprofessional business practices designed to drain as much money out of you as possible.The money issue would have been mitigated if the surgery was actually successful but it wasnt. Three weeks after the my nasal bridge bent back to original position, so I was not better off than before surgery. Of course, Dr. Spector offered the excuse that there was nothing they could do and it happens. The service was no better, as Dr. Spector was nowhere to be seen in my post visit, and the technician that took the nose plugs out was extremely rude. There are many other bad reviews here for a reason. Please stay away and find another doctor with good reviews so you wont get screwed over like me and so many others.

I was plagued by allergies on moving to NC in 2005. Initially I thought I would eventually acclimatize but discovered the situation was getting worse over time. Fortunately after seeking treatment with Matt Butala and Dr Spector the situation is now under control. The service all round is fantastic, I would highly recommend them.

My son is seen here and we are constantly bumped and have to wait for adult patients with appointments after us. Dr Spector is great but the office needs to learn to be a little better about their pediatric patients

My first review was removed. My experience was so bad with Richard Jones. He misdiagnosed me and did 2 surgeries that were not necessary. (even admitted it) Resulting in my nose needing to be rebroke to fix, my sinus cavities collapsed and close to 20k of medical debt.

UPDATE - A NIGHTMARE! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR WALLET....RUN AWAY WHILE YOU STILL HAVE OPTIONS.In addition to the first review I wrote yesterday, (today), I spoke with Multiple people from this Practice and the incompetence continued from the schedulers, the Managers and the Physicians...including the highly spoke of Mr. Allergy Dept. What a joke this Practice is. Ill spare the full details but heres the bottom line folks:1) Two Physicians, one from Clayton visit and one from Cary phone conversation, contradict each other on the use of the Steroids I was put on for my CT Scan.2) The CT scan is NOT ever going to take place now because they cant decide which is best to proceed with, steroids or no steroids. Dead or Alive.....does it matter?3) My Allergy Test - That too was cancelled.....turns out after being in Practice since 1991 (21 yrs) they had a Light Bulb Moment and realized since I am on Steroids I cant have an Allergy Test done because it would make all the results come back NEGATIVE. Did they attend Clown school or College?4) Their only offer of a solution..........go to the Hospital while im still on the steroids and have them do a CT scan since their CT machine is broke. In other words........go pay 4 x more the $$$ and GET LOST. If I still want an Allergy Test done come back 2-3 weeks after im off the steroids THEY put me on.5) I am a self pay patient, just went back to work 3 Days ago. I paid $191 for the initial visit in which the Doc was in the room all of 5 minutes, no joke. I spent my 10 minute morning work break, 30 minute lunch and additional 30 mins at my car this morning trying to get a resolution to this problem all while being clocked out of work and losing wages never mind the embarrassment having to explain this to my New Boss what was going on.6) I the Patient have been put through the ringer and left to figure out what to do on my own. My immune system is now compromised from the steroids and apparently was done in vein. I will have to seek a second opinion from another ENT which will cost me another $200 most likely. I have requested a consult with an Attorney for Medical Negligence review.YOU CANNOT LEAVE A VOICEMAIL MESSAGE AT THE CARY LOCATION AFTER HOURS. THE CLAYTON LOCATION VOICEMAIL IS ALWAYS FULL. I HAD TO SEND A FAX TO GET SOMEONE TO CALL ME. THE CARY LOCATION IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN PERFORM THE CT SCAN OR ALLERGY TESTS. IF YOU NEED BLOOD WORK YOU GET SENT DOWNSTAIRS TO LABCORP TO INCUR A SEPARATE AND ADDITIONAL EXPENSE WHICH THEY DONT TELL YOU UPFRONT. $600+ FOR THE BLOOD ALLERGY TEST.........INSANE!!!!

Worst Medical Experience - Dr. Mann recommneded and performed surgery to fix a deviated septum for my chronic post nasal drip. (Constant lump in my throat). The pre surgery visits were all great. Dr. Mann was very enthusiastic and optomistic. There were no surgical complicationsl. Unfortunately, the post surgery experience was awful. I was almost completely unable to breath for a week. The worst part is that the surgery did not help. During my next follow-up visit I explained that I didnt feel any improvement. Dr. Mann responded by walking out of the office without saying a word to me. I was stunned. Needless to say I did not return for additional follow-up visits. No one called to apologize or to check up on me. This was the worst medical experience I ever had.

The doctor took time to thoroughly explain my situation and to answer all of my questions even though he was running behind schedule. As a result, I am well prepared to make some future decisions about treatment of my problems.

Doctor Mann is just wonderful! He goes straight to the point, paid attention to each detail and symptom!

Stay far far away. Both myself and my then husband had surgery with Dr. Mann. My ex-husband almost died from blood loss when Dr. Mann ignored my concern about continuous bleeding post-surgical day 3. He was taken by ambulance to the ER and spent three days in the hospital. I had to have repeat surgery a year after my surgery with Dr. Mann due to the horrible job he did.
