Nice people but couldnt go till nth level to the problem, specially for Business customers. The Business Manager does not work out of the store and never picked the phone or returned the call. Asked my company to switch to T-Mobile for better service.

My reason is to long to write about. This is not a good home store if you need to go to an official Verizon store. Youre Better off going to Raleigh. Luckily a lady over the phone, at customer service, did more for me then anyone at this store could do, and it was simple thing that needed to be done to get my phone to work.

I have recently switched to a new Verizon plan and this Verizon store has been super helpful throughout the entire process. Brianna was super helpful when my friend and I switched phone plans and was able to help us make the transition as smooth as possible. Today when I purchased the new iPhone Afrika and Chelsea were the most helpful and they walked me through transferring all of my data and setting up my new phone. I could not have done it without their help. I would highly recommend them if you need any help!

Went here and they told me:“Call telesales and look up the specs yourself on our website if you want to see the differences between the phones you’re interested in”-Couldn’t tell me how much I could get for a trade on my phone-couldn’t tell me the difference between the iPhone 12 Pro, 13 and 13 pro-couldn’t tell me the trade in value of my phone or the cost of the new phonesWhat they could offer is for me to look at the phone.Expected more from a Verizon corporate store. The rep was rude and the manager came over and reaffirmed what they could or could not do… also said they couldn’t schedule an appointment for 4 days to speak with me again.Per the owners response, I’ll be visiting today to see if we can start fresh. If we can work it out I’ll gladly be editing this review to the appropriate star count as we all have our bad days.

Awful!!!! Had to wait in queue today for a simple phone cover. Only to be told (surprise) that they didn’t have one. Asked if they could please order one, since bought my iphone through there (which cost $1k+) and they said NO! Of course they only will support newest phone models - this was the reason given. Went to Ubreakifix a couple mins away and got a cover for $15

Id not had the best day.Well skip the preliminary stuff and just say the icing on the cake was that I was going to trade in my phone...and then tripped on the concrete on the way to my car. My phone was completely busted (the touch screen only functioned on the bottom half) and I didnt have insurance on it.I get to the shop and the young lady at the door (I wish I had gotten her name because she was very kind) asked what I was stopping in for. All I had to do was hold up my phone and she was like Say no more!. She had me wait at a kiosk (it was busy!). Within a few moments, Matthew was there to help me out. He was incredibly knowledgeable, very sweet, and was helping me with a best case scenario. I did wind up getting my new phone (and this time, I got insurance!), a new case and a screen protector. He even helped me by charging the case and protector to my next bill so that I could leave with all the protection I needed.His help and everyone there honestly made my day so much better with their kindness, patience, and knowledge. I really cant thank them enough!

Really bad experience. Lady that was supposed to help me could not even provide the bare minimum. Her fingernails prevented her from being nimble in putting in the card. She had no workable advice when Sims card did not work. Had to go to a phone repair place to get new phone to work.

Only reason I give 1 star is because I cant give 0. Went in with my wife to see about switching from AT&T and seeing what kind of plans Verizon had. They asked for my name and phone number and told me it would be a few minutes. I browsed the phones while I waited for the first half hour plus, and then sat when a seat became available and waited for another hour only to begin watching customers who came in after us getting served. Two of the employees kept looking over at us as well before taking new customers who just came in. After our experience here today, we will definitely be sticking with AT&T and I hope others do the same. Unacceptable service..

I wanted to share my experience at this store in particular. I went into this corporate verizon store 2 days ago to upgrade my phone. After being greeted by i think the manager at the door i took a seat and waited to be helped. After i waited an hour to be helped Matthew came over to assist me. I was upgrading my phone and getting my daughter her first phone. It was all going well until Matthew started having system issues. I felt so bad for him because he had to spend hours of his day on the phone getting it fixed. He eventually asked me if i wanted to wait with him or run some errands and he would call me as soon as he was done. I chose to leave and come back. Although this wasnt the best experience Matthew was exceptional and deserves some recognition. He and his manager whos name i think he said was Africa are amazing. They even offered to waive one of my fees because of all the inconvenience. This shows true customer service and Verizon should be proud to have them on board! If possible please tell Matthew and Africa thanks for everything.

Went to this and other Verizon stores on a number of occasions and basically waited so long that I basically gave up and left…. While there today I sat around hearing life stories from reps spending a LOT of time trying to convince folks to buy insurance and just chat, ugh. Is there a place where we can go to pick up a phone upgrade, pay and go? Just saying…

Arrived two hours before close after confirming online that reservations were not required and was immediately turned away. They claimed only 1 employee was helping customers even though there were two employees guarding the door doing absolutely nothing. They recommended I come back the next day which is a useless suggestion when my phone doesn’t currently work.Thanks for nothing!

Complete waste of time. Very dismissive. My husband and i went in for a phone upgrade and were handed a piece of paper and told no one could help us because we didnt have an appointment. Then the representative just walked away. In the mean time I need a new phone because mine is not charging- we were told we could walk around and look but needed to order online and pick up in store or have it shipped or make an appointment for another day. I understand that there are protocols in place for COVID safety but considering the circumstance- and the fact that my phone wont charge and I still pay Verizon regardless for my phone bill - and I knew what I wanted and it was in stock - you would think theyd be more helpful. Made an appointment for another location- with hopefully friendlier staff.

Told them we were leaving and to take us off the queue. Then they called us 5 minutes after we left, when we were on our way home, to see if we still wanted to be serviced. We were going to switch from ATT too. Not anymore.

Snippets from an email I just sent detailing the AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE at this location:I purchased an iPhone for my niece Saturday and have not received anything saying I can pick up my purchase. The staff at this location (1910 Walnut Street, Cary, NC 27518) have some of the WORST customer service skills I have ever seen in my life. Here is a detailed description of what is going on:Friday, June 25 - I went to the Verizon store at 7:25 to purchase a phone (with my niece). Before I had even set foot outside of my car, a Verizon rep came out to the curb to ask if I was there for a pick-up. I told her that we were there to purchase a phone. She then told me there was no one who could assist me with a purchase because it was too close to closing time and because there were not enough employees available to help me. I told her I didnt mind going in and waiting. She then told me that they could only let one customer in the store at a time. Knowing this was a lie (because I had been in that exact same store a few days prior), I didnt feel like arguing with her so I figured I would just order it online so I would not have to deal with the employees in person.Saturday, June 26 - I ordered her phone online, printed the confirmation information and went to the store. The information it printed out didnt say anything about having to wait for a text, so I went over there hoping I would be able to pick it up since it said you have to be there by 7:30 for curbside pick-ups. When I arrived, I was advised about having to wait for the text (which my sister got), but I was also advised that there was nothing in the system showing a phone had been ordered. The young man helping me took the confirmation number I printed out and went inside to see if he could sort out why the order was not coming up. While I was outside, the same rep from the day before (that said we could not purchase a phone and could not go in the store) came out to see if I was there to pick something up. I politely told her it was okay and that there was someone inside who was helping me. She immediately (and rudely) turned around without saying anything and went back inside. Even a simple, Okay would have sufficed. The young man comes back out and said the purchase was pending and to contact the store if I didnt hear anything by the middle of the day the next day (Sunday). I also asked him to report to the store manager how rude the rep was the day prior. I pointed her out and he said she was the store manager and that he would let her manager know. I am unsure if this was done, but would like to make sure it is.Sunday, June 27 - After having repeatedly trying to get through to the actual store (I was sent to the general customer service phone tree), I went to the store to see if the phone was ready to be picked up. When I arrived (45 minutes before closing), I was told by a third employee that the purchase was pending. When I asked when we might be able to get the phone, she said she didnt know and left it at that. After asking her again what the hold up was, she looked at her tablet and said the purchase was going through the fraud department. She then suggested I cancel the order with her, then make the purchase right there in the store since the phone I purchased was in stock. At this point, I was really starting to lose ALL patience... I could not believe she was telling me to do what I had tried to do originally, which was to purchase the phone in the store. My niece and I left because it was obvious we would get no help from anyone in there. Additionally, a gentleman came in with his elderly mother to buy her a new phone and was told it was too late in the day to purchase a phone (again, this is 45 minutes before closing time - they were in front of me when we walked in).Monday, June 28 - We still havent gotten anything about picking up the phone.The lack of customer service at this location is astounding. Turning people away, not allowing them to enter the store, and being rudely dismissive is NO way to run a business - any business.

So will not be getting a phone from Verizon. I see customer service already sucks and you would never know when they are open

I am only awarding 1 star because 0 stars isnt an option. Went to pick up one of our phone upgrades today. Verizon (corporate office) screwed up the order but the local store was far less than helpful. I pulled into curbside pickup and let them know I was there with the app. Not a single person came out to our car. Someone came out ten minutes later to address a line forming by the doors but didnt interact with us. 25 or so minutes in I had to get out of my car and tell the rep we were waiting. He said it would only be 5 or 10 minutes. If hed stopped to check his device he would have seen theyd already sold our phone that was supposed to be on hold (as we discovered later).Then we called customer service as corporate and spent the next 90 minutes on the phone with them. Not once during our call did a single store employee come out to check on the car parked for curbside service.While I was on the phone with corporate I got a message someone inside was ready for us. I flagged down the same employee from earlier and asked, since it had been a few minutes since the phone message, if the store employee was still ready for us. He said hed go check. We waited. And waited. Then about 15 minutes later that employee walked outside, straight past our car, and then got in his car and left. Thanks a lot.Finally the rep on the phone offered to just find the phone at another store. Only then did someone from the store come outside and ask if we were being helped— more than 2 1/2 hours after we arrived.We drove ten miles to the new store— Six Forks/Lassiter. We waited in line a total of 2 minutes and got our phone.Awful customer service at Cary.

Im not one to write reviews because i dont think 1 experience should dictate how you see a company but my daughter convinced me to do this one.… Me and my daughter came into to upgrade our phones today at 5pm .. we got checked in at the door by a very nice gentleman who told us it would be roughly an hour wait. We werent excited about that but however we decided to wait. After waiting for roughly 45 minutes we noticed multiple employees at one desk chit chatting for a long period of time. Obviously our business was not a priority to verizon and decided to leave. Very unprofessional

2 visits in 2.5yrs - I wont be back.The first time I was totally snowed... got really bad info till a mgr stepped in to helped. But even back then, they sent me to the partner shop for maintenance, which was a terrifying experience... yes, after the phone was opened, they said, oh yeah, you might lose everything. Oh, and we dont have the parts, come back tmrw......Assuming a store can change, about a week ago I went in to Verizon @Walnut. As advised by Verizon on the phone, I anticipated a replacement phone be ordered per the call. I was checked in @door, and handed off. The 2nd clerk was polite (the reason for 2stars, not 1), but with barely any discussion of the issue, he defaulted to making an appt for maintenance at their partner shop....so this time, I very carefully approached the same maintenance store, while I had V. on the phone. BOTH agreed I should not be at the maintenance shop, I needed a replacement phone... glad I didnt fully go through with Verizon @Walnuts direction.So .... Verizon store in Cary (@Walnut St.) ... carefully evaluate the issue, before you dust off your customers.I wont be back.I ended up at another company store that was in full agreement about needing a replacement, not maintenance.

Pointless online appointment system. Don’t bother going through the online appointment system because you will waste 10 min online and then once you are in the store you will have to rely on the store peoples marcy to be seen and thy not necessary will see first come first serve. They will just pick who they want so good luck. We had a 7pm appointment and waited for 40 minutes and they have seen a few more people in between but not us.We went to replace a bad product and equally dishearten by the unprofessional service. I guess time to leave verizon all together. Thank you for the lesson!

Awful service at this Verizon in Cary..I’ve never been to a Verizon with worse customer service. The girl at the front was rude...she said her name is ‘Africa’. She called me ‘buddy’. I don’t appreciate being called buddy.‘Dupri’, the tall guy, was unconfident & rude. I asked him to hold one of my phones (I have two) while I pulled the other out of my pocket. Dupri actually said this to me ‘Youre making me uncomfortable, I don’t want to hold your phone’. Wow. Just hold the phone... Dupri is a pretty weird guy! A couple friends who’ve visited this store told me they also thought something was off about Dupri. Definitely something off about him.

Fantastic service! Almost had a meltdown right in front of the guy (Sorry, friend 😅) because my phone quit and I had no connection to the outside world 😩. But we were resourceful and it all worked out in the end. Everyone was super cool and chill - 10/10 customer service. The store itself is cool too, so I would recommend checking it out! (Oh, and if you don’t get that glass protector you’ve already messed up 😉)

Be very catious if you decide to go to this store. Prepare to say no to the salespeople ten times. When you say all im here for is a phone that should be sufficient. They begged me to add hum to my line without telling me I would incur an early termination fee for cancelling early; they lied and said it was a promotion that would save me money i could cancel anytime. I fixed the problem with the 800 line but I will never go back to that store. The reps are like vultures there!

Ora greeted me upon arriving to the store and she was wonderful and very pleasant to speak to! I then waited for only twenty minutes in my car before being helped but upon me entering the store I was directed towards a guy “on the right” name Michael. He apparently asked how he could help me but mumbled it so I just said “how are ya?”, in attempt to be casually friendly, and in the same ill toned he replied “how can I help you”. Making it more than apparent he didn’t want to be helping me. I then told him I’d like to upgrade my phone and he asked if I was the account holder and I said no, my dad is but I have approval from him to do what I wish to do. He basically tried to shut me down and shut me out from speaking to him by saying “You need to get your dad to add you as an authorized user” in the same ill tone. Completely understand and respect that, but he acted as if he did not want to help me whatsoever. My full time job is catered around customer experience and i did not ask for him to bend over backwards to help me, I simply asked for you to allow me to discuss what I’ve waited twenty minutes in line to discuss in hopes to give y’all business. Any thing I wanted to discuss he basically tried to get out of answering so he called his manager Afrika over. She was very pleasant to speak to as well! She answered all of my questions promptly and very happily and didn’t treat me as if I was inconveniencing her day, which I really appreciated! So to sum it up, both Ora and Afrika deserve a huge shout out for the customer service they provided me with! They were more than helpful. Michael on the other hand could use an attitude adjustment or just not work at a Verizon store if that’s how he’s going to treat customers.

Save yourself a headache and just order online. My dad (10+ year Verizon member) and I went in the other day to get a new phone, talked to a guy named Matt who was very helpful and friendly, he was able to help us pick out a new phone that they had in stock in the store. He told us that the order might take a while to process so we left and returned to pick up the phone an hour later.When we got back we were met by a guy named Nick, who told us the order still hadnt gone through and he didnt know how long it would be and that it wasnt his fault and he refused to do anything about it but give us the generic customer service #. Customer service was somewhat confused about this and asked to put Nick on the line, which we did. He then proceeded to give them the same run around he gave us and then HUNG UP ON THEM. He then told us to call customer service AGAIN. At this point we decided to leave.Later that night we were able to get back in contact in customer service and ordered the same phone with 2 day shipping to our house, customer service woman was very nice and waived the usual delivery fees after we explained what had happened.My favorite quotes from Nick were maybe if we were a smaller company this wouldnt happen and we have no way of contacting anyone else at Verizon other than the generic customer support #

I just got off the phone with customer service after being on hold for an hour all because I wanted to do the right thing and come forward and let y’all know I tested positive for covid 19 and all I got when I reached a rep was “there’s nothing we can do to contact that store” not very professional of them to not even try. Anyways I was there on Saturday December 26th around 2pm. I worked with Jarell I think was his name at the door outside who then handed me off to Mathew. First I want to thank the Representative Matthew Quinn for his amazing job. Matthew went above and beyond anything I have ever seen with customer service. He listened to all my concerns and actually cared about what was going on. He explained what my options were and even recommended what he thought I should do. Went to the corporate owned Verizon store to buy new charger for my phone and check on my plan. With covid-19 everything retail is a hassle. But what makes it worse is when you pay for it and they also charge it to your account. Of course I had to return to the store and get it corrected and get the charge credited. I was thinking of upgrading my smartphone and tablet, but after the hassle I had just buying a new charger, Im going to wait until Covid-19 is behind us and they have people that are properly trained. Very bad experience, but Verizon doesnt care

This is not a specific review of this location, but if Verizon in general.I have never had more dropped and jacked up calls and false advertising. The whole company is a cesspool and I want to feed the whole bunch of them Sugar free Haribo gummies or sausage laced with ex lax.From the sales people who promised me I was getting a free phone (it wasn’t), to the numerous telephone reps who promised to help take care of that and the multiple service issues we’ve experienced.Go step on a rake Verizon.Ok, I feel a bit better now.

I’m leaving 2 stars instead of one because it seemed like the other associates in the store were doing a really good job of following covid guidelines. I scheduled an appointment online for tonight and stated that I wanted to upgrade mine and my husbands phones to newer iPhones, as we’re eligible for our upgrades and our older iPhones aren’t working as efficiently anymore. We arrived on time and were greeted outside the store by Taylor, and a security guard. The entire experience was extremely awkward. We weren’t sure which phone we wanted yet without seeing them in person, but were basically guarded from coming inside and told that everything is done on the app on our phone anyway. I knew this already, but I wanted to see the phone in person before I bought it and review our phone plan to make sure it still fit our needs. Taylor was just super rude and unhelpful, he challenged and invalidated everything I said the whole time, and had absolutely no answers to our questions unless he looked them up on his tablet. He kept interrupting and correcting me to my husband, who I had discussed this whole process with and we had made plans about what we wanted to do as far as trade in and data plans go. The security guard was polite but the whole time we were made to feel like we were doing something horribly wrong just by being there. I mean I would’ve just not gone out if I knew we were going to be interrogated at the front door. So I wish someone had just called me and told me not to come for my appointment basically, because Taylor made it abundantly clear that we weren’t welcome there.

I was in your store on Saturday November 7th due to me not having a working phone. I worked with michelle during my first visit and Mathew on my 2nd which were both Saturday. Each of them showed me the new iPhones and I didn’t end up purchasing because I want to wait for the 12 pro max. I did test positive for COVID 19 this morning so I just wanted to give them 2 a heads up and also apologize. They both showed me phones and knew about them very well. I did have a brief interaction with the manager (don’t know his name) but that was as I was leaving. I tried calling the store but it just transfers to customer service and I don’t want to be on hold for hours because I don’t feel well.

COVID 19: One of our phones totally died. Call-in customer service was ... was non-productive. Two hours down the drain. Crisis moment. ;-(Store is only open to pick up phones ordered on line. Employee did come out fast and explained the situation. Very nice. Store is unable to allow customers hold and evaluate phones when making a purchase.

We had a fantastic rep who helped us switch from T-Mobile last weekend. Pretty sure her name was Amal. One of the most knowledgeable and patient store reps I have ever encountered at a wireless communications company. Four stars, however, because there was an insane wait (in their defense it was a Sunday afternoon, but still...) and I get the impression its always that way.

Long wait times; when asked to order new phone was told I couldnt do it in the store had to do online and have it shipped to me. Delivery is now 2 days late and no available options to get my phone and accessories unless I buy a new one and have it sent to the store (which I was told could not be done a few days ago). No help at all!

Cant give a zero star. The manager of the store told me you need to catch up with technology. I was on hold for 39 minutes waiting to talk to a person. I dont like automated systems. Its called the human connection.. I have since changed to another carrier.

Tried to make the switch our familys 4 mobile lines to Verizon 3 times through their website, a necessity because of COVID-19, only to have it crash all 3 times just as I was about to finish Verizons laborious process. Decided to wait until retail was allowed to open back up so I could make the switch inside their store. Made an appointment for 1 PM on a Monday using their website, and a received an emailed confirmation. Arrived at the store with the rest of the family only to be told by two very indifferent store employees that we could only order online and pick up at the store. The website said the store was open for business. This was my 4th try at giving Verizon my business. After the 4th time, I took by business to At&T.

Visited this facility to ask about a reported discount for veterans. I was greeted within seconds of entering the store. Explained why I was there and, with discount confirmed, I was done in less than 5 minutes. The facility is impressive with several mini-stations for demonstrations, sales, and tech support. Will definitely return when phone upgrade time comes.

This store sold my wife’s ex husband a GPS tracking device and installed it in her car. To be fair, my step daughter provided access to the vehicle. Still not cool.Despite the reply below. None at Verizon will address my concerns. Several emails have gone unanswered. This store could not suck more.

Wife and I walked in on a casual Saturday to explore the possibility of going back to Verizon.Nobody greeted us, and as other customers came and went, we realized we had fallen through the cracks. We tried getting the attention of staff, but all they did was a polite nod, and walked on. After half an hour of waiting in amusing disbelief, we left.Ironically, this very same thing happened two years ago, at this same location, when we were trying to get new phones. AT&T got our business then, and I guess well be heading down there again.

Had to do a system update on my phone and a factory reset so they were nice enough to let me sit in the store while my phone rebooted and reload all my apps and waited for me to make sure that I got all my contacts and info. So a nice place to sit, free WiFi, and checking phone health before leaving, thanks!

This whole Verizon system is broken. I order an iPhone 11 online to be picked up in store. Everything was paid for already on the phone to include taxes and upgrade fee. However when I get to the store the man tells me I have an unpaid balance and can’t start my order u til it’s paid. (I have no unpaid balance!) but why amI calling Verizon from a Verizon store!?

Went on a not usually busy time according to Google Maps, resulting in a 45 minute wait time to return a defective product. A quick trip to this store resulted in a quick waste of gas, because we left. This store needs to do something to improve the speediness at which they address their customer concerns.

I simply do not understand how this store gets such a low star rating. I have been there a number of times, and I have enjoyed superior service every time. The staff is knowledgeable, the service timely and they always seem to solve my problem. I considered going with a lower cost provider, but when I considered that I might lose the convenience of dropping in and having my questions answered I decided that it was worth a couple of dollars more.

Wife and I had been planning on buying a new Pixel XL 3. There were no customers waiting when we arrived, but the person who greeted us said he needed to get a salesperson for us. We waited, and waited, and waited. Eventually other customers showed up and when they started assisting them, we ran out of time and patience. As we were walking out the door I mentioned our issues to the employee standing at the door, he just shrugged his shoulders. We will be looking for another Verizon owned store and we suggest you do the same.

Great experience. I didnt give it a 5 only b/c the waiting setup is weird and that place is BUSY. Also, I bought into the Edge program and wasnt told about paying the full tax up front on the phone until I got my first bill which of course was after the change-my-mind time period. Not sure it wouldve changed my decision on Edge, but I wouldve liked to have known that my no money down purchase was going to be a $175 purchase in a couple weeks. YIKES!

Impossible situation. They tried to make it work, but they couldnt. We were trying to exchange a phone we got online. The rules have changed so they couldnt. We lost an hour while they tried. A for effort but E for execution! Salespeople were very nice!
