Monday morning my battery needed to be replaced and my dealership was slammed and their first available appt would have been Wednesday probably Thursday. AAA is two miles from my home (Walnut and Ryan) so it stopped by this morning and 2 hours later I have a brand new battery for a very reasonable price. “Cary from Cary” was my associate and he took really good care of me and my car. Very grateful and I highly recommend them for repairs!

Staff at the Cary Towne Center location was super friendly. What really pushed them to a 5-star rating for me was the inspection report that they emailed me when finished with my truck. Ive had services completed at a number of mechanics but Ive never gotten a detailed report with photos and ratings before. My 2010 Silverado stopped blowing cold air through the A/C, they refilled with freon and it works like brand new. Extremely satisfied.

The Cary Location was great and kept me updated on my car. Michael the technician mechanic was the employee that worked on my vehicle. I would highly recommend this location

Made appointment to check a tire vibration. I was informed of possible problem and gave permission to balance the tires. Job was completed in a very short while. Professional courtesy is always on display at this car care center, and is much appreciated.

WOW, AMAZING, AND FANTASTIC. My family and I are strict on COVID safety and this location for AAA did not disappoint. Masks, gloves, and sanitizing touch points on your vehicle before and after! They have earned my business from here on out. Not only are they incredibly professional with regards to customer service but they go above and beyond to insure, not only their safety, but your safety as well. Highly recommend this establishment on their professionalism and quality care for their customers. I cannot recommend a better place for an oil change, state inspection, tire purchase, or any other car care need.

Incredible customer service. I had an issue with my older Mercedes battery that was installed in a different state. The excellent team at Cary Towne Center took care of me and outfitted my car with the correct battery. I will be using them for all of my future car maintenance . Dont think twice about deciding where to go!

I came here for an alignment which was reasonably priced. The service was fast, but the guys working the desk were not very friendly. They charged me 6 dollars more than the quote and wouldnt let me see the receipt before I paid or explain why they added the charge. They also suggested a bunch of unnecessary work and proposed ridiculous prices. Will probably not go here again.Edit:I had a friend look over the things they recommended. Turns out I dont even have power steering fluid because of electric power steering. They recommended I change it regularly and wanted to charge a hefty sum to do it. Moving to 1 star.Edit #2:The manager called and apologized after reading my review. He was nice, owned up the mistake, and offered to make it up to me. Moving back to 2 stars.

To be honest I felt that the customer service was pretty lacking by the car care folks. I was quite surprised as AAA is known for quality. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked the rep at the counter if he could check to see if my cabin air filter needed to be replaced. He told me that it isnt easy to get to so if I wanted to go ahead and purchase the filter they would happily replace it but it wasnt worth the 1/2 to bother looking to see if it was bad. What I got from that is they would be happy to sell me something I may not need instead of being proactive. Doubt I would bring my vehicle back here for anything more than an oil change. I gave 3 stars because they did complete an oil and filter change as well as rotate tires in a timely manner and the pricing was quite good for full synthetic. I didnt have any interaction with AAA staff other than car care. There were other employess sitting at socially distanced work stations. One of them was either bored to death and on his cell phone or asleep (couldnt tell cause I didnt see him raise his head the entire time I was waiting for my vehicle) I did here the lady take a phone call otherwise I may have suspected she succomed to the same fate as the guy. Hope for the sake of AAA reps everywhere things pick back up soon!

Quick quality service! I had them replace an Alternator on my Odyssey recently, no issues and it was priced fairly. I would recommend them to anyone for basic services as they offer. They also include a great overall visual inspection with oil changes. Very professional yet personable.Will go to again.

I was redirected here to leave a review after my car care appointment survey. -- I would not recommend this garage to anyone, especially not other women. The upsell was astronomical and it seemed actively deceitful. 0/10 The only thing I liked was that they cleared the check engine code and I can do that myself with a code reader for not $100. GO ELSEWHERE!I came in for a check engine light and the engine running a little rough. The first technician I spoke to was polite and told me what he suspected the issue was and what he was going to do to check it. Great so far. Turns out that was the only competent person I would be working with. After they finish their diagnostics, I was told 3 different quotes all with different prices and errors. Oh this would be more we didnt include labor. On the estimate they had 4 of a part my car only has one of (125 each of course). Clearly theyre assuming you wont check anything or even do a quick google. When asked why a part that is at most 75 was 125 all they said was Where? AAA sets their own prices Im sure they do but that doesnt mean Im willing to pay them.The staff seemed to be untrained on their system. Between multiple errors on estimates, having trouble finding my appt or account even with the account number in front of them, it did not give me any feeling of confidence in their assessment. While sitting in the waiting area also hearing them say oh well shes going for a ride. while being the only female customer who had come in... One of the technicians also came out and was talking to one of the front of house about me while I was standing there. I dont know if this is how they treat everyone or if this was because Im a girl and dont know cars but frankly I wouldnt risk it. Either way they were wildly over charging for something that takes a screw driver and at most two hours of novice level skill to do.Over all I would not recommended this location even to change your windshield wipers. If they dont admit an error on the estimate when called on it, Im scared to think what they could be doing under the hood just to get more of your money. Honestly, I would trust a walmart oil change over the BS they seem to be trying to pull here.Oh and small additional note, if youre immune compromised at all, do not take your car here. Most of the techs in the garage had their masks off while getting in and out of peoples cars and they definitely didnt wipe things down before they handed back the keys.

James, Layne, Mike and Moe anyways do a great job on my cars. Great customer service and always with a smile. They explain what is going on/happening with my vehicles in lamens terms that I can understand. I trust their recommendations. I wont take my cars any where else!

Very pleased with this AAA car care center. Went for tires/alignment and they were very helpful. They did the full inspection per their process and just gave me a report with recommended maintenance. They were not pushy and did not try to get me to buy extra things. I did purchase an air filter but that was necessary and wasnt costly. James was awesome when I called and helped me the whole time. I highly recommend this shop. Plus, they do a 30 minute sanitizing on each vehicle to protect both their workers and customers from Covid-19. I waited on my car and it was done in 2-3 hours. Great experience here. Thanks you guys.

The Cary Towne staff have always been such a delight to work with. Every individual is kind, respectful, and very thorough in their explanations regarding whats best for your car.It takes a very special kind of person to talk with a customer at 7:30 am about Frozen, while they call a Lyft for you so you dont have to wait in the rain, while their waiting room is closed during the pandemic.I really cant recommend this location enough. Youre going to be in good hands at Cary Towne.

Im a little bias to AAA because their mechanics have always been upfront and honest about all repairs with all my vehicles ( 5 - some classics ) Ive tried other well know shops even a dealership, most mis diagnosed the problems and were far more expensive.

Nice people good work. Went there for state inspection and got an appointment for 2:30. I reached there by 2:20 and I was asked to wait till almost 3:30 before the inspector can look at the car. Not sure why I was not given the 3:30 appointment.

An over zealous Male Karen Type (not my service writer) wearing a mask was insistent that I wear my mask properly in an empty lobby area. Out of the corner of my eye I could see employees about 20 feet away not wearing masks.I then observed the tall balding Male Karen Type Service Writer saunter into the Service area to talk to a mechanic with his face mask pulled down.I got routed here, because they recently shut down the AAA on Chapel Hill Road and Cary PkWay, which is too bad because the service and environment was much more pleasant.

They checked my ABS system because the light came on the night before. They fixed the wheel bearing, did an alignment, and state inspection.

This AAA location opened a year ago so it feels quite sparkly and clean. We havent used the auto center yet but we see a steady business here. We have dropped by for the travel agents, tour books, etc. We had a triptik printed within minutes of requesting one. Great seating and ambiance inside.

I tried out this place as my mechanic since I have AAA. I think they do a good job but its hard to tell as Ive only had my oil changed there and battery fixed. The one thing I will note that I would be cautious of is that they try to upsell on items that are not necessary for the car and are really a bit questionable. For instance, they try to upsell a whole bunch of products for my oil change, additional additives. You can argue either way but theres no real good evidence for oil additives and no place Ive been in the last decade have tried to push the stuff on me. Also they tried to recommend that I do a fuel inspection or clean out or something. they said it had to do with maintenance of my vehicle not something that was broken on my vehicle. Once again thats not in the owners manual and online people recommend not doing it so Im not sure why AAA is trying to push it on people. Owners manuals of cars specifically State what needs to be done every certain mileage so Id read that before coming in here.

Mike and Wendy deserve a big bonus or a big raise. Because of everything they have done for me, I decided to spend my money at this location Instead of another car care center. Thus generating revenue for the business. So whoever their boss is, please give them more money. I have spent close to 2000 there in less than 2 months. And Mike and Wendy have helped me out with discounts, rides to work and home, and taken their time to explain diagnostics in detail. They always look out for me and only suggest repairs that I really need. I have told all my friends to go here. Those 2 employees are amazing. Triple a is lucky to have them. Lu is also awesome!! He gave me tons of rides with a pleasant attitude every time.

Very pleased with the AAA - Cary Towne Center. I went for NC State Inspection. Upon completion, I was e-mailed the Inspection report. I was provided a hard copy, and separately, recommended maintenance, as they didnt have access to my cars previous maintenance. On maintenance items, they were not pushy and did not try to have me purchase additional services. My service advisor was professional and knowledgeable; facility and staff had taken and followed necessary and recommended Covid-19 precautions, including a 30-minute sanitizing on each vehicle to protect both their workers and customers from Covid-19. I would highly recommend this facility. I waited on my car, and it was done in less than 90 minutes including the sanitizing. Excellent experience here. Thank you!

I am so pleased with the service and attention I received at this AAA location when I brought my Mini Cooper in for repairs. Mike gave me real-time updates with texts, emails, and photos of the problems, and offered transparency when suggesting the most pressing issues and their cost. He guided me through this process and, when it came time to pay, for once at a car repair shop I didnt feel as though I had most certainly just been taken advantage of. I even bought a membership since I plan to make this my regular car maintenance garage. I will be recommending this shop to everyone I know, especially those who, like me, lack knowledge or skill in auto repair as well as confidence in the fairness of this sort of transaction. This place is great! All around professionals in all three lines of business. Travel, Insurance, and Complete Auto Car Care. Store has only been open a year, and not many people know location is NEW in town. Top notch facility, and they are hosting a huge event this Saturday 07/13 member appreciation day between 10-2. Everyone is invited to tour the facility, get quotes for travel, or insurance needs. Car Care repairs can be done here, and fully staffed so wait times arent long at all. Just look at the recent reviews, this establishment displays superior customer service, and reinforces AAA standards of excellence. Give them an opportunity they are always willing to provide a great experience for all.

Great experience at the AAA service center at Cary Towne Center location. They replaced my timing belt, water pump, camshaft seals and flushed my coolant. All very professionally done!!!!

Pulled in at 530pm, no one talked to me except to say we close at six. All I needed was a tire plugged. I am a former certified technician. Rude and understaffed.

This is a great and super friendly car care center. Ive gone in for a diagnostic, and they actually cut their rate because they were able to diagnose the problem so quickly. They are super friendly, and they really explain the situation in a way that shows that they know what they are doing. We will use them going forward for our inspections, oil changes, brake problems, etc.The place itself is nice and clean, and the free waiting room coffee is high quality. Really cant ask for more.

OMGosh - This is my first time using any AAA car care center and I must say that due to an AMAZING experience with Mike(truly an angel) at the Cary Towne Centre location they have a customer for life and Ill definitely be recommending them to everyone I know!

I have never been to a AAA repair facility before although I always considered trying them. I’m glad I did I finally did. AAA was professional and courteous. I had my oil changed and tires rotated and they performed a courtesy inspection. The inspection was very thorough and they supplied an online digital report that included photos of some of the components that were checked. Such as brakes pads and discs and fluid colors. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because they rotated my tires front to back only, not in a criss-cross pattern. When I questioned them they told me radial tires had directional tread that required they stay on the same side. I later found lot this was incorrect. That was a concern with the old fiberglass belted tires, not steel belted radials. Be sure to keep this is mind and address this with them at the onset. I’m sure they will follow your instructions.

My car died suddenly last Friday night. Saturday morning we called to have it towed and that entire experience went well. The guy driving the tow truck even let my 3 year old son tilt the ramp. The mechanics at Cary Towne Center 100% misdiagnosed what was wrong with my car and I ended up spending $400 for nothing. I am very happy I declined additional service, which was ALSO not what was wrong with my car (inflating the bill to $1000).They were very nice people, so Im sure if it is a simple fix (battery, tire, breaks) they would be fine. However, I will likely not bother giving them a second chance.

Dont like how their tires are 3x the price of other places

Having to take your car in for service is not on my list of best ways to spend my time. Now that I have discovered this excellent group of car care experts, I will be a fan for life. They smile, they are efficient, the building is clean and the lighting is bright. WiFi works well. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Needed emergency state emmissions inspection. Took me within an hour and DID NOT find any mystery issues. Also gave me a heads up for a routine maintanance suggestion.

Fair price to members, reliable service, Good communication via text, phone and email for updates during service and pick up.

They are very accommodating and very friendly. If you have AAA I would recommend them.

Im preparing to drive from NC to AZ. Had Michelin tires all four put on, and the tire rims are now damaged! This was the first time Ive had tires changed and can not understand why all the rims are scratched up and dirty. They look really bad. My husband took the malibu over this am..manager was not in, but hopefully it will get corrected. Spent 1500.00 yesterday..800.00 for tires and will be going back for wiper fluid pump. Trinity..I believe is her name is such an asset to AAA..yet my rims are now shot..they look so bad. Its a 2016 Malibu with 33000 miles on it. Just dont understand

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. They will manipulate you and force you to spend an ample amount of money just for them not to fix your vehicle. I spent over 2000 dollars for them to fix my truck and they failed to do so. They put two new distributors in and my truck continued to shut down on me. Following that, they brought the truck back in and said they found other issues that involved the engine, which cost me another 1300 dollars. After this you would think they could fix the issue but my truck broke down AGAIN on the highway and I brought it to a Nisaan dealership. The people at Nisaan came back with a diagnostic showing that my distributor was never fixed. The fact that these people at AAA not only charged me 2000 dollars for nothing to be resolved on my truck , but they also lied and didn’t have a clue as to what they were doing. They will try to manipulate you so I suggest you choose another car center. Don’t fall victim to this scam of an establishment.
