Appreciated Chriss relaxed sales approach to our vehicle purchase. He was very informed about our vehicle and from beginning to end just had a great experience with him. Our only note of improvement would be to the finance department. After deliberating in private over adding any additional warranties to our vehicle, the very jovial friendly exchange with the gentleman turned a bit irritated and cold. The body language was very apparent to both my husband and myself. Feel free to offer, but dont punish the customer for turning down options.

Ive never met someone as friendly or genuine as the Matthews Kia Staff in Cartersville Ga. Everyone helped. If I didnt understand the process from someone, someone else explained it. My car had been totalled. I was without a vehicle and insurance would only pay for a rental for 2 more days.When I called to ask about the cars available, something I said didnt sound right. He handed the phone to his manager for him to explain. He could get me around half of interest of what I was paying, and a car loan, and a car today. My bank wouldnt give me another car loan because insurance was late paying off the other loan, but that didnt stop me from needing a car. Long story short, I was able to walk out of there with a brand new car thanks to the work of Matthews Kia.

We went to Matthews Kia in Cartersville to look at the cars they had . When we got there, we looked around the lot after Chris had introduced himself and said if we needed any questions answered or wanted to test drive one of the cars just to let him know. We walked around and looked at several different Kia vehicles.We asked Chris if we could see the inside of a 2022 Kia Soul. He brought out the key. I sat in it as he told us what all the features it had. He asked if I wanted to test drive it but I told him no. After sitting in it and looking at the inside and out, we told Chris this was the car we wanted.We then went inside and the paperwork was done and I drove the Kia Soul off the lot and home. I would definitely recommend Matthews Kia of Cartersville as the place to go to purchase a car. I also would highly recommend asking for Chris! You will be surprised at what excellent service you will receive !

Im not big on going through the car buying process at these dealerships but I have to say the two gentlemen I dealt with at Matthews Kia were great to deal with. Buying experience was very good. Andre was a pleasure to work with. Once price was agreed upon, I had to wait to finalize with the sales manager, who was also very personable. Agreeing on price and signing the papers did not take long....the waiting in between was at least an hour and probably more. In the end, I drove off in a great car.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They’ve had my car for WEEKS with absolutely no update. I leave a message & no one ever calls back. When I left my car the said that would look at it the following week. That was two weeks ago… so unprofessional.

I hate writing bad reviews, but, my experience at the service department here was enough for me to write off ever going here again. I made an Appointment 2 weeks in advance to have my check engine light diagnosed. No diagnostic fee was mentioned when I made the appointment.I arrived for my appointment and Martin checked my vehicle in, and again, no diagnostic fee was mentioned. I was told the diagnostic would take maybe 30 minutes.2 hours later a nice lady came out to tell me the problem and give me the price for the needed repair. When I informed her that I could not afford the repair at this time, she told me that I would owe a diagnostic fee.I am not mentioning the fee price as that is irrelevant. Suffice to say, I could not afford to pay the diagnostic fee either.If I had been informed of the diagnostic fee up front I would not have scheduled the diagnostic. If Martin had informed me of the diagnostic fee when he checked my vehicle in, I would have declined the diagnostic then.I am a retired Master Plumber with over 30 years in customer service, and I can tell you this, if I had ever performed a service without quoting the price first, that service would have been free.The nice lady left too bring my vehicle around, and referred me back to Martin. Martin informed me of the amount owed for the diagnostic fee, and I told him that I was not informed of this fee, he then said well you signed off on it, to which I replied that I the diagnostic fee was not listed on the device that I signed, just the paragraph authorizing them to perform the diagnostic.Martin then proceeded to attempt to pressure me into paying the fee, and I told him that I could not pay it, and would not have authorized it if I had known beforehand.A heated, though civil discussion followed, and he went into the back for some unknown reason. I retrieved my keys off his desk and drove out.I do hope to hear back from the management at Matthews Kia of Cartersville about this.

Not too pleased honestly. Bought an Optima years ago that came with extended warranty due to a recall. After time the engine blew. Kind of expected that, but what makes me angry is when I dropped my car off they confirmed that car had a recall. But before they even looked at the engine they told me I had to provide all my oil change records and refused to fix it until I did! I even went to my mechanic for the records and he laughed and told me that was B.S. I had to call Matthews and threaten with a lawyer to get them to even look at my car. They sent pictures of my engine to corporate and then finally agreed to fix my car after about 3-4 weeks. They never offered me a rental, nor did they treat me like a customer. They treated me like a problem and I will never go back. In fact I bought an electric car because of them and I love it. Do not recommend this dealership!

Excellent customer service in repair and maintenance of my Kia. A friendly staff there to answer all your questions that you may have. I showed a interest in buying a used SUV but have decided to wait and purchase new and I know that the sales staff will be there to support me and give me the best deal that I could possibly get.

Kia has a different recall every time I turn around. I called to come in and have it checked and was told it will be over 4 hours for them to check my car and the cant guarantee a rental car for my inconvenience. This is not very good customer service. I will never buy another Kia. When I took my Ford into the dealership for a recall we had no issues. They made sure we had a rental available.

I have purchased several vehicles over my lifetime across several states. I found the process has always been long, stressful and tiring. At Matthews Kia of Cartersville we were met by an amazing salesman who put us into a New 2021 Kia Sedona that fit my families needs. The whole process was under 3 hours. By the time I got home the dealer had already contacted my insurance company on my behalf and transferred my tags leaving me nothing more to do, but enjoy my new purchase. I would highly recommend.

Connor was my salesman. I ended up buying the car he had been driving. He was courteous and very helpful getting me in the car I wanted.

It took 3 hours and 45 minutes to get a oil change, tire rotation and car wash. I made this 9 am appointment two weeks prior and when they finally said they were finished the car had not even been washed. I prepaid for a maintenance plan when I purchased the car which I don’t suggest doing unless you have an extra 4 hours whenever you need an oil change.

Edit: I have emailed Darren Matthews and Matt Lidell. They refuse to respond to my emails when asking about a follow up to my visit and why I have not been able to cancel my GAP insurance. I tried in person as well, and the finance officer told me to just pay it off to get reimbursed. I want it removed before my 30 day cancellation period. Not worry about getting reimbursed.It takes a negative review to get a response from them.Every offer on their website that I know I qualified for, or that was filtered for the specific car I bought was “not for that model.” And competitors were going to charge me “hidden fees” if I went to them instead. I felt like they were the ones trying to take advantage of me. I even showed them emails from their site and they didn’t want anything to do with them.

Great customer service from the crew checking you in, especially Charlene my advisor. Loved her!!! She is the best customer advisor I have had in a few years, miss the two guys that were there before the name was changed.My only complaint is the waiting room was crowded and very loud!

Andre is awesome and he really knows his stuff. He suggested a car but I wasn’t completely feeling it, he let me test drive every make I wanted without rushing me! He never once made me feel like I was taking too long or an inconvenience when I couldn’t decide. In the end I bought what he suggested from the start.
