A great place for electronics parts and service. Even though they didnt have the battery I needed for my laptop in stock, they got one quickly. They were careful to ensure they got the right one by opening my laptop up and verifying the exact battery before ordering. Staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

My wife was in the hospital and I needed an earphone extension. I knew Radio Shack would have it, but they were gone. A techie friend said go to Altex. I called and Grayson answered. In a second, he told me how we could accomplish what my wife needed with a chord or with Blue Tooth. I walked in and got what I needed and was out the door in minutes. Im happy and my wife is even happier.

Great place to find hard-to-find electronic connectors. Also a great place to get electronic tools. They usually have whatever you may need to complete your telecom or audio/video job. I could spend hours walking through the aisles just looking because they have so much.

One of the last tech/electric superstores with varied electrical and networking tools as well as discrete electrical components like resistors and capacitors. Tanners and Frys used to be the go to places and Alltex is the last store standing. Workers were all friendly and knowledgeable and the store was well laid out and clean.

Altex has a lot of stuff Microcenter doesnt have which I like. However, I wish they were open a little later. They close at 5pm on the weekdays, which means I can only visit for the short time theyre open on Saturday.

This is a great place for network material from cables to jacks. I always shop there but prices a little high. But many items they have cannot be found locally anywhere else.

Went in first thing in morning to pick up a new power supply for my laptop and a monitor cable. Super helpful staff, and they let me verify the new power supply would , in fact, charge my laptop prior to purchase. Quick trip and got what i needed.

I found Altex on a whim one day when I was feeling a little lazy and didnt want to do the 30 minute drive from my apartment to Microcenter which is where I have done the majority of my computer purchases over over the last few years.I have to say I was very impressed with the customer service, they all were very polite and informative and showed a clear love for everything technology like I do.If you are looking for more professional computer solutions like servers, security systems, and cable management. In addition they have some of the most affordable tech repair prices Ive seen which also is great. I came in for a couple of cables and ended up coming back with my computer for help with a software related problem I was struggling to solve and they asked all the right questions. If I had any constructive criticism some of the pricing was not competitive which was a little disappointing. The had M.2 1tb that was 70 to 80 bucks over the amazon price and even the sales representative admitted that they didnt sell many of them as a result.Overall very impressed with Altex will definitely be coming back for my future computer solutions.

I once again had a great experience at this place. I have been coming here for probably 10 years now. You can always find whatever you’re looking for and if not staff are always available. I am extremely appreciative of having Saturday hours. In addition the prices are reasonable probably better than what you can get online and you can get it immediately.From my rack mount that I bought here too so much cabling it’s been unbelievable I’ve always been happy with the product.

Woah! Yeah, its good. I have found the most obscure things that you can thinking about here. Not a lot of places get everything right. The enthusiast line of products and near enterprise grade items strike a happy medium. Need a keystone, yup! Need an odd connector, sure. What about a vertical dual monitor stand? They got it! Im impressed at the quality of products carried here, I went for the first time a month back..why did I ever go to a Frys? Altex = local = awesome = recommended.

This place offers the best in computer electronics that Ive ever seen. its unbelievable what you will find here because Im not computer savvy so in this case I was in firm any surprises about the new solid state drives and memory sticks and all the computer components that you could ever ask for. The sales associates are very accommodating to any questions you have and well walk you through the store and teach you everything youve ever wanted to know about computers. Altex is really the only store around anymore that has electronics components. They have a pretty good computer parts and custom build section, but there are better places due to their pricing there.Where Altex shines is having components, adapters, cables, tools and network gear that nobody else carries locally at reasonable prices. They are the best for AV and network cables by far. Amazon prices, but professional/certified quality.As a huge bonus, they have a knowledge, helpful staff. Ive been shopping there a few times a year for close to 20 years and I recognize some of the folks working there for many of those years.

Its exactly what it seems like it would be like. Lots of parts but could maybe use some better product management and inventory supplies for displaying products more efficiently.

Staff is not helpful, confusion on where to check out as employees are standing around not doing anything. They also added some random item to my checkout when I told them I didnt want to purchase that. The guy seemed confused and said, oh that might have been left by someone else. My thought is simple, if you was actually working and not standing around casually talking you wouldnt be so confused on customer checkouts.

We had an emergency with our business computers near closing time. Altex was amazing and got us up and running again within a few hours. We will definitely return for future repairs, and purchases.Thank you Altex for your outstanding service

This is a great place, as long as you have a bit of technological background. They do have just about anything you would need to build a computer from the ground up. It is all in bins, so finding it is not that easy, but the workers know where to point you. The process are also pretty competitive. They are also a great place to buy stocking stuffers for the computer guru in your family.

The clerks are always helpful and knowledgeable about what Im shopping for.

Its amazing that these guys always have what I need. Well sometimes its easy to order things online and just pick it up its also great to stop in and see they have an entire selection of electronics and parts for just about any project.

Its a brick and mortar, the prices are going to be a bit higher. If you need IT equipment in a hurry, chances are theyve got it. Their customer service reps have always bent over backwards to help, unlike at some other computer stores in the area. Our company moved to the area a few years ago. Altex was right down the street, and we found all the incidentals we needed at fair prices. Worth your time to check it out if youre in the area.

They have a serious line of very capable desktop computers for your budget and needs, or they have all the parts and components to build a custom system from the inside out. Came here to get a basic pre-built computer for work. The computer did not work after getting it back to the office so I had to go back to the store. They were receptive and and immediately replaced the computer. They even tested the new one before I left to ensure it would work. Good experience. Would recommend.
