Great place for fun and friends the d.j is pretty good will keep you on your feet

This is one my favorite hookah lounges. I love the people, and the atmosphere. The owners are great. Great prices on the tables and booths compared to other hookah spots. Before 2am its usually afro and reggae music and then they do a cross over from 2am to 5am on Friday-Sunday and music is Bachata and salsa.

They charge for everything. Door 20, table 400!! Do not waste your time

The first time I visited, it was a vibe. The more I went the less enjoyable it became. However, the last time I went, the waiter was blatantly rude. Not once did he check on us, ask if we needed mixers; however, he checked on the surrounding tables.

Eh, the music was decent. When I went they were out of mouth pieces and slow on the refills, even though there werent a lot of people. The workers were decent in attitude.

This place is very nice. The manager made accommodations for use since it was our 1st time visiting. Loved the service. Sep is amazing.

Expensive as others have said bit one of the more fun ones around. Sitting by bar is free, corners are $200 and $100 for high tables. BYOB, u pay for cup n ice and $1 for ice refill. Most people there just brought their ice. Mixed of songs including afrobeat.

I’ve been to Hundreds of hookah lounges in many different states and country’s !Without a single doubt , this has got to be the WORST “hookah lounge” I’ve ever been to.If the owner does not notice the problems with this place than it’s definitely him.

Velvet Hookah Lounge was the 1st stop of a Girls Night Outing. We arrived before 9 & was told that the cook didnt arrive until after 9. So we left, got food & came back. The place is BYOB, wasnt crowded & the DJ kept playing the same songs over & over. 🖓 It took a while to get our Hookah setup. The vapors made my throat scratchy & I really couldnt get into it.

I have been seeing this place for some time now but never seen a crowd of cars. I decided to visit on Monday as appeared an event is scheduled for local talent. So theres two different parties involved. No parking fee but $10 to enter by the hosting event. Nobody came for the promotion and so the DJ left early by 11pm basically taking the surround system as well so music was very low and with it empty not best experience so I would avoid this day to visit. Regards to the staff-hookah service the waiter was very helpful and attentive. It is BYOB so theres a fee spent $7 for two people. Ordered the mix which listed at $35 however by the time the bill came total was the total was at $70 (35 for hookah plus the byob fee $7, but also included a $18 gratuity and taxes) way more than I intended to pay. So even though the setup of the venue is nice theres a lot of fees you will end up paying and for us to be two of the only people in the venue and two sets of coal replacements you do better investing/using your own setup.

Its just okay... As others have stated, they do seem to nickel and dime you for everything. They charge for valet, cover, and then a drink fee... There are plenty of other options that are better.

This place is amazing. Great place to lounge. Great hookahs. Good servers. Weve gone here many times and have ordered the Pineapple hookah with, I think, 2 flavors. The blend was excellent and the waitress and/ or waiter come and turn your coals for you when they can. Its kinda fun to turn them yourself too (once you learn the technique) but its a great environment, excellent vibes, and very entertaining music. The music is guaranteed to get you and many other lovely looking things to get off your butt and start dancing. Super fun

It was a cool and laid back atmosphere. The host was accommodating and made sure we had what we needed. I wish the hookah offered at least one more connection so that 2 of us party of 4 could have enjoyed the hookah simultaneously, but all in all, it was chill.

Great atmosphere and service is top notch!! Always a good time at Velvet and the white peach hookah is always a favorite.

I don’t know how they manage to charge $20 for valet parking when the parking is right there! $20 cover charge per person and a minimum order of $50. It’s unbelievable and the place isn’t even fancy for me to say it’s worth it. Glad I didn’t go in, glad that the valet was so rude and gave me this information before I stepped foot in. Will definitely not recommend nor go.

Service was so slow on chicken wings I almost didnt get them. And they told me I didnt order fries in the end. The carrots tasted like mold eww. Sorry to start off like that. But living in LA Im used to after hours, so its saving grace was that it was the only thing open late enough for my insomnia. Otherwise 3 stars. Im pretty social and friendly with all girls like me. FUN! overall had a good time! Friendly crowd!

I would give this place more than 5 stars if that was an option. Great place to hang out with friends and family. We are here almost every week and it has become “our living room”. The music is never too loud so you can have a conversation without yelling. The staff is always on top of providing exceptional experiences. Thank you for being attentative and consistent.

I decided to celebrate my Birthday on the low with my boyfriend. I love BYOB AND HOOKAH !!! When I was entering they had told me that tables were sold but they were offering them to friends of the people that were working in the front...I walked over to the gentleman that looked like a boss behind the register and asked if I can please be seated. He was great !!! He did not hesitate and said he would get something for me right away....the waitress he assigned me blew me off a little bit he stayed persistent with her. ..love that !!! Thank You for the great customer service...I tipped generously and ordered a good amount...Happy to support this bissiness as long as they keep treating people like this....🇵🇷✌Thank You, Nani

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. ITS A TRAP.I ended up spending like $100 bucks on two hookahs and 4 sprites because they have these weird ass trap rules they dont tell you before hand.Arrived at around 11:30 am, as you pull in to the place, 1st they force you to pay $7 valet, claiming they own the entire parking lot. Some of us did, I refused (the place was empty) so we parked way in the back. Then $10 cover per head just to get in, then once they give you a table you have to have at least 1 hookah per two people OR if you only want one hookah, the rest on your guests are forced to spend at least $10 more on non-alcoholic beverages.So I told the server, I dont want any more of these charges, simply bring me two hookahs and 4 sprites and a bucket of ice. Each hookah was like $22 bucks with taxes included/ after hours $32-40, and the 4 sprites where about $4/5 each. They open until 5 am, BUT if you want to stay after 2 am you will have to pay a different cover amount (even if you already paid for everything else), so they kick everyone out. We where still having our first set of drinks and barely touched our hookahs, and force you to pay $25 if you want to come back to your table.I complained to the owner and told him its my birthday and we had only been here an hour, spent around $100 and we didnt want to leave yet. So he tells me we can stay if we pay $150 for a crummy ass table.As they turn on the lights and send a bouncer to pester me and my guests, we notice the entire place is falling apart. Tables and Lounge Sofas are nasty and ripped open.

For less money you can find other Hookah place. $20 for mans and $10 for womans to get in....plus insied $40 for the hooak!! $200 tables.

Best hookah lounge in DFW, service is always good. Never had a problem with the hookah burning or anything. They clear out the smoke from the hookah head unlike most places where they just change the coals.. The manager is a great guy and takes care of me and my friends whenever I go. I recommend it to anyone looking for a classy upscale hookah place. DJ always plays international music from Persian, Arabic, African , Latin, Hip Hop and many other styles. Definitely my go to hookah lounge!!

Had a great experience with my friends over at velvet hookah bar. Our hookahs were perfect and also the food . The variety of the menu items were good and the service was so Quick. The Place was so clean and our server was checking on us every 10 minute. Great management team , I will defiantly come back to this great place to hang out with my friends.

Brittany was a good server!! We were charge the $7 for parking but other then that the hookah were great!! The vibe was lit Latin music and just any type of music. We werent sure to come because of the reviews but I guess everyone has a different experience. 😂👌🏽

I would not come back to this place. First of all, they do not sell liquor. Second of all it was emptee and we paid $5 to get in. Ok so fast forward to 2am the music cuts off and the security guard yells “if y’all wanna stay its $20 from 2-5am” bish whettttt they rushed us out after we ordered food and hookah and wouldn’t even let us wait inside for our Uber. Not coming back

Carrolltons Only Hookah Lounge definitely has cozy seating, the DJ set up and the overall crowd in general are great; very clean, upscale atmosphere. My first experience there was enjoyable, we were greeted by the owner and manager as if we had arrived for a dinner party at their home. Service is friendly and speedy and the hookahs are decently priced with lots of flavor options, we chose the Pineapple since, my wife likes pineapple...WOW its fresh and flavorful!We ordered the Greek salad and Gyro Plate, decent price and so delicious, if you like Mediterranean Food the menu will satisfy your tastes.Definitely a Must Stop by Lounge.. we will be back soon!

Terrible experience. Me and some friends went there last night and I will never be back. The guy and the lady at the door were so rude! We got yelled at so many times just trying to get in. The wait was crazy. Inside is even worse. We kept being yelled at by the security and we had to move out of the way. And the worst in the line to the bathroom. The wait is insane, but the worst part is that a lot of girls skip the line and cut right in front. when we asked why and expressed how unfair it was they told us oh they know the owner so sorry they can do what they want. And it happens constantly! So we paid 20$ to be treated this way? Never again

Amazing spot!!! The service here is so awesome they treat you here like royalty!!! Love the staff and they make the hookah SO GOOD! Ive been to places that take almost 40 mins to bring new coals here they have the hookah ready and change the coals almost every 20 mins. After hours its even better. Each server is so attentive and so sweet! Prices are SO reasonable if not lower than average! This place is always popping!!! Def my go to every weekend!

Worst experience of a hookah lounge ever. We went for our valentines date and they were very attentive at first and when i found a spot i wanted and put my bag down they told me we cant sit there. First of all the host didnt even direct us to a seat he walked away and we were told we cant vape or smoke in the establishment! Im like wait a minute. So we walked out because of the service and treatment. The music was loud which would of been fine. But the way they were acting was rude and if we can smoke hookah we should be able to smoke a cigarette or vape. Not going back again ever. Plus glad we didnt stay.

On New Years we decided to try a new spot. When we got there, 3 guys were in the parking lot giving different prices of $7, $15 $20 for self parking or valet. We paid whatever amount to park so we could get inside. When we got in the cover charge was higher than $20. Plus we were told they didnt accept cards without a chip. The checkin person ended up charging $20 per head so for 4 $80. After getting our bands we could not find any places to sit. We were able to find a spot in a reserved area with 3 women who let us sit down. As we were ordering with the server, a employee walked up to us saying we could not sit in the section and that maybe we can find a spot at their bar which was full. At that point we were ready to leave. We asked for a refund which at first they would not give back our money. We refused to leave until they resolved the issue. They did refund us and then asked for our wrist bands on the way out the door. When we were leaving the parking lot, it was crowded and the atmosphere was just not good.

Nice spot, they offer a very nice service. The hookah price is a bit high but completely worthy. They have different parties every night from Thursday to sunday. It is a very busy place so call way ahead to reserve tables if needed.

We had a reservation for a Birthday and they gave our table to someone else they had us at the door waiting (it was cold) we were a group of 15. First time there. The DJ was playing only the suggestions for only one table when I went to ask for one song they didnt even let me get close! Well, not a very good experience.

It was fun until we had to pay the bill. Not only did the waitress steal the cash they stage cops as in duty but they are really off duty. Then we paid the bill for what we already paid. My freiend had to use the restroom and they refused after we already paid. This is my first experience of Dallas Texas and I never want to come to this shady state EVER!!!

Worst hookah experience ever. Easy to see why the lounge was empty. 1st, they require you to pay for valet parking. Then you gotta pay to enter.another charge to BYOB. Customer service is horrible no one was rude, but they lack showing the customer any attention. I literally had to stand up a few times to get anyones attention. No one came to our area to take out order, had to get up and actually go to the counter to order. No one rarely attended to us while we were there...mind you only about 10ppl were there. Hookahs was weak. The hose plastic and cheap. Too many other good hookah lounges in the metro area for me to ever consider returning here.

The worst place ever, very poor management very bad food quality. Cigarettes ashes in food box, how can they even cook in a hookah place?! I dont think its legal to have both in the same place. Anyhow when I called for management he told me Go Fu*k your self and they way over charges specially if youre drunk. Ive seen underage girls who are smoking and drinking. Theyll let anyone in and smoke, drink and even have sex. you just pay the front. Used condom drugs leftovers cigarette butts all over the place specially in food wrappers and boxes. Where the hell is the health department? And the tobacco control department? The city of Dallas needs to wake up!
