First time here, I found it through google looking for some local coffee. The place is super charming. I feel in love with their little cupcake truffles. I ordered a selection of them and got two cups of coffee. Everything has tasted amazing! These cakettes would make the perfect gift and the price point is perfect. I will definitely be back! I mentioned to Tessa that my gift would be for a friend who was moving away. She is so creative and made the neatest decorations that were so appropriate for the occasion. And they have always tasted so very good, too! I can’t say enough good things about her work.

My husband and I were married on 11/17/19. Tessa provided cakettes for our 230 guests and they were amazing! She customized them just for our wedding both with the flavor inside as well as the decoration on the outside. We had both Texas Tech and Texas A&M for our house divided guests, as well as rainbows and tuxedos to celebrate our wedding. They were so beautiful and so delicious and one of the big highlights of our reception. We received so many compliments from our guests! While we really enjoyed her little cake balls, we absolutely love Tessa. She is more than just a talented artist and baker, she is an amazing person. In January, when we started this journey of planning our wedding we were turned away on our first weekend of touring venues because we were a same sex couple and the owner of the venue told us that we were not part of Gods plan for marriage. It was heartbreaking. We shared our story and pressed pause on our plans, unsure if we were up to the challenge of planning a wedding in Texas as a gay couple. We were not prepared to come out to every one of our vendors and hope that they would accept us. One of the many vendors that heard our story and jumped to our defense was Tessa at Cakettes. She was so upset with how we had been treated that she wanted to do something to make things right for us. She offered to provide her delicious cakettes for all of our 230 guests free of charge. We were blown away! She didnt have to do this, her little cake balls are so delicious that they sell themselves, but she wanted to do it to show that she is committed to equality and understands that everyone deserves love. Its one thing to say that you are LGBT friendly, its another to offer up your time, talents and money out of the goodness of your heart. Tessa is the real deal. We know that there are plenty of places you can go to get your cake fix, but if it is important for you to support a small business with heart, that not only welcomes everyone but celebrates all couples no matter what they look like then please give these cakettes a taste. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Tiny place with big flavor. These cakettes were tiny little delicious treats. I loved the lemon bite the best, but all were very good. The woman who helped me was most pleasant. I will be looking into ordering for an occasion in the future. Try it out - you will be pleasantly surprised.

This place is to die for! Oh my goodness they were so amazingly tasty and they were beautiful. They are so intricately designed and each one looks so amazing, I cannot imagine the amount of time and love that goes into these. They were also so flavorful and moist and great to the last bite. You could keep tasting the flavors even after they were gone. Everyone in our family loved them and my very picky 14 year old even said he wants to spend his own money ona box for himself. I give them 5/5 stars for sure. Not only was the dessert amazing but the customer service was fantastic as well. Definitely recommend them for all your special dessert occasions.

I dont often leave reviews, but every now and again theres a place that goes above and beyond. I placed an order for a good friend of mine, the owner insisted that she could handle the design requests, The more personal the better, and boy was she right! My friend was so blown away by the designs she hasnt eaten a single one yet! Luckily weve tried these treats before so we know they are delicious without having to take a bite.Definitely recommend this little gem, and definitely recommend getting two boxes, one to eat, and one to admire!

Actually came here for coffee and was pleasantly surprised with the whole package! Coffee was good, cakeballs were awesome, and the owner was the icing on the cake! This is definitely one of the areas best kept secrets (that I hope isnt a secret for long)! 🙂

These little pieces of heaven are scrumptious! The raspberry is my favorite and I don’t even like raspberry, only tried it because I was given a sample and oh my gosh 🤤! Cute little present for someone or a treat for yourself, next time I’ll have to try the coffee but for now I highly recommend the cakettes!
