Our road trip needed a great beginning, we started here. Great breakfast food, many options to pick from, and great service by the staff.

Donuts were just meh, slightly better than donuts at a grocery store.The glaze was overly sweet and slightly oily.The apple fritters looked like a hot mess, flat and lacking the craggly lumps of apple morsles.

Very Poor Experience. No Hi , No Hello , No I’ll be right with you. Just straight up ignored me while I was standing there and it wasn’t even busy. I had no choice but to walk out

Gave me the wrong kolache bit down into disgusting meat patoto had to drive back to get this fixed and all I got was a woops and frustration absolute waste of time

I love Shipley, but this location is somewhat different. Tiny drop of Strawberry filling, light and so many holes on donut. I will go another location.

Ive been to the Lewisville location and this location. Even though I have to take the toll to get to this one, its worth it and I do it every time. They have a big seating area so you can eat in comfortably. They have restrooms for customers as well which is a plus. This location also has a drive thru if needed.

We came to this location to use a Groupon. We found that it was a decent location open at 5 a.m. close at 5 p.m. Personnel inside working are not bad and seems helpful. Some selections are not hot, a microwave is available.

Excellent! Really enjoyed their chocolate dip donut and sausage and cheese Kolach. All the better that the donuts are made from scratch!

Please change hours online as It says you are open until 6 pm I have drove here two different times thinking it was open until 6 but get here at 3:30 and it’s closed only indication of different time is sign on the door that i can’t see until I have wasted 20 minutes driving here

I’m normally not a Shipley’s fan but this place always has the hottest and freshest donuts that melt in your mouth! My kids and I make it our weekly treat.

I have been going this place since it was opened day one. I like their selection, price, and location, etc.. Last time was little different though. Perhaps ownership got changed. Donut seems not like it used to be. My kids didnt want them as they used to be. After all, couldnt finish all. Maybe baker didnt do god job that day. I will try again and tell you. Thanks.

Don’t get me wrong I like Shipley‘s donuts but they’re not the best in the world but their service today was deplorable. I brought in a coupon that said buy a dozen donuts and get 1/2 dozen free. I didn’t see that the coupons said glazed for the dozen and they didn’t tell me you can’t use the coupon they just filled up my box with what I wanted and then filled up my half dozen with what I wanted never saying that you can’t use the coupon because you ordered the wrong kind of donuts. So when I saw that they charged me Full price for the dozen and a half dozen I question them and they said well it was supposed to just be glazed donuts in the first box. So then why didn’t you tell me and I would’ve just change the order around so I could use the coupon but instead you told me nothing and charge me $15 instead of seven $7. So when I questioned it they didn’t apologize they didn’t tell me why they didn’t inform me that they weren’t using a coupon for that I couldn’t use it that way they only gave me a credit for the half dozen and I told him you need to give me the credit for all of it, because I gave them back all of them . They said they didn’t see the big box. But it What’s on top of the little box. To say the least all he had to do was just say I’m sorry and will change the way the order is but he didn’t do that he just kept defending nothing.I have been a great customer for their store for over two years but I will never go back again because they don’t do business in a nice way they let me walk out of there knowing that they had not told me about it or informed me that the order was different than it should’ve been. Angry angry angry and disappointed. 😡

This location knows how it’s done! Every single time I come here Sonya and the other ladies greet me with a smile and give the BEST service. There’s even a location closer to my house but I’ll drive the extra mile or two to come here knowing that I’ll be served promptly and kindly!

High expectations turned to low experience.

Used to love this place, but Ive developed an affinity for jelly filled things, and they have like a tear drop of filling in theirs (went two separate times over 3 weeks to make sure it wasnt a fluke). Its frustrating.They read my review I suppose, or paid off their jelly debt. Because things are back to awesome

Omg! The best donuts ever! As a former Texan I cannot say how exciting it is to now have our own Shipleys. The chocolate filled bring back great childhood memories.

The kolachis are delicious here. I highly recommend the cinnamon twist donut. If you are a frequent visitor of this Shipleys you can buy their reusable coffee cups and get really cheap refills each time you go back. The cups are actually really nice quality too. I took off one star because the seating area is usually really hot, they need to increase the AC and its not always clean- tables and chairs need to be wiped down.

Ordered donuts to be delivered: 1/2 dozen chocolate sprinkles, 1/2 glazed, and 1 blueberry glazed cake. I received 1 chocolate donut, 1 glazed donut, and 1 powdered plain cake donut. Wouldn’t answer the phone when I tried to call them about it. I’m never ordering from this location again and I will be contacting corporate about my experience.

Anywhere that I can get a HOT apple fritter at 10 am on a Sunday? Well, that is the donut place for me.I do not usually eat donuts, I try to be good and limit myself to one or two per year, because if I find a GOOD donut, Im in a world of trouble...I will want that donut all the time.Since we are new to Carrollton, I tried three donut places in one morning, so that I could find the best place for my husband to get his donut fix. (Selfless, I know. LOL!!) Shipleys was the ONLY donut shop that had donuts that did not taste of old oil. And that is really important in the world of frying things.So, hot apple fritters that are fried perfectly? MMMMMHHHMMMM. This is the spot.

Good quality, but it is very expensive. 3 dollars for a kolache and 1 dollar for glazed is too much. Go to quiktrip or racetrac for donuts at more than half the price.

One of the better donut places that Ive been to.

I clerked for a judge once that always said Always buy the good donuts which is why I was here. No one wants to come into a meeting and deal with 2 types of garbage, so Shipleys it is.

Used to be a good place to buy donuts, dont know what happened it seems like management or owners changed and ever since for the last 6 monthes thinks have gone down hill, they have stale donuts and the size of donuts have shrunken to make profits.

I’d mentioned that I had 2 dogs in the car waiting to smell and love to eat (they do NOT get donuts) my donuts and the young lad gave me 2 all natural dog treats...how nice! Oh... my donuts were awesome, as usual!!

Horrible horrible service. Not only were we given the wrong order but on top of that they wouldn’t return our phone calls. We ordered through Grub Hub who told us the malfunction was not on their end, but because Shipley’s was not answering the phone calls received from Grub Hub. If there were a zero stars option, I would have used it. The other Shipley’s in our area are way better. Never returning to this one.

Would give them 7 stars if I could. Not exaggerating. Every time we come in here we feel like we are at home. You have to try it.

This is the second Shipleys location Ive gone to (the first was in Lewisville) where the donuts I received were no where near fresh. They looked like they were from the last batch the day before.

Horrible service! I went here and the donuts were VERY cold. The Kolache was buttery on the outside which was good but the cheese on the inside tasted like singles American cheese. I asked the guy was there any hot donuts left. He told me yes. But, yet it wasnt the truth. And too put the icing on the cake the donuts had cream from a filled donut on the them. Now what if I was allergic to that icing? Bad service. I am from Houston and shipleys is much better there. After, all this the manager gave me attitude after I wanted refund saying so do you want it or not?! I said yes. And politely walked out of the store. This is not the Shipley way!

Fantastic doughnuts. I have had the original yeast doughnuts and I love the cream and the custard filled doughnuts.

Waiting and waitingI know drive thru is important so your costumers inside the store... I was the only one in line inside and it took 5 to 6 minutes for somebody to ask for my order. And to pay....they have big signs that say that accept apple pay and other tap to pay applications... But as soon as i pulled my phone the guy told me we dont take apple pay... I told him i have a samsung and it should work... He said no. And didnt clear the system for me to try. I had to scramble to get cash to pay for my order. It may not be the cashiers fault but i think he need more training at least to explain things. Not coming back to this location.

I wish I got the cashiers name but he was so nice that I had to come on here and give this place 5 stars. Shipleys is always delish!

There was a hair in my kolache, and the donuts were mediocre. Josey location is friendlier and their donuts are better, it’s a little dirtier but I can get over that. Plus there’s never been a hair in my food there.

I have given this location the benefit of the doubt several times, not wasting anymore money here. The donuts are never fresh no matter what time you go in, this location gives a bad name to Shipley’s.

This location is typically hit or miss. This morning is an all the way miss. I stopped to get donut holes and sausage and cheese kolaches for my son on the way to school. Once we got to school waiting for the doors to open, this is what was in our bags. Stale, overcooked, seemingly old and not fresh donut holes, and overcooked kolaches. My 6-year old son was extremely upset and disappointed that his food was basically inedible. Absolutely ridiculous...

Theres just something off about this location in the customer service department. What kind of place that you go to and you order something and then they come up and tell you they dont have part of the order and instead of asking you what you want to do or how to rectify it they just decide that they will add something else and replace it and thats going to work for you? So then you look at what they replaced it with and its not even what they said. And they charge a premium. And they are just not that good. The drive thru allows me to Give It 2 Stars instead of one but even so you pull up and if youve never been there before you would have no idea what they have they dont offer you a menu up front or any deals. Guess Im partial to the little old Asian ladies.

I dont really like donuts , but I loveeee Shipleys. The people here are amazing too. My family and I are in love with the Bavarian cream filled donuts and to get a dozen, is super cheap ! 8.99 for a dozen and you get rewards immediately with 5 star. Tonya is wonderful as well. She is always smiling , she has an optimistic attitude, and she goes above and beyond everytime we come in to make sure we have a great experience at Shipleys!
