Their selection seems to be getting smaller every time I visit but this is probably due to Corona. I needed a number of Belgian beers for a tasting class and was only able to find half of the beers I had purchased here previously: no Tremens, no fin du monde, no Rochefort 6 or 8, no Saisons. But the absolute biggest issue was the 750ml Duvel bottle I bought was skunked badly.Update: Rick has been awesome and is replacing the skunked Duvel bomber for me. Hopefully the corona related import and shipping delays let up soon.

Always a good experience at my favorite liquor store. The selection is large and the employees are knowledgeable and helpful. I probably spend too much money here but Im sure they dont mind

Great selection of craft brews, both local and non-local. I just moved to the area last week from another part of Dallas and discovered this place on a random walk-in. I will definitely be making this a regular stop to try their vast selection of craft beers. The guys behind the counter were knowledgeable and friendly, and I really liked how they had a big walk-in with a make your own six pack option. Perfect for trying different types of beers!

Great beer store that offers alot of variety from both craft breweries across the country as well local. Of course they have imports too. I havent looked at it as much but it seems they offer a decent wine selection as well. They also have tobacco products.

An incredible place. Very well curated selection. Its about quality, not quantity - though they sure have a quantity of different beers to choose from. They also work closely with Taps and Caps not too far away, so feel free to sample a flight of beers there and return here to buy the ones you like for the road. Id like some local wine selection, but this is certainly a beer place for beer lovers with a well curated wine selection.Edit: I noticed a number of reviews that cite price on very common beers. If this was a book store, they are a rare bookseller. If you want a six pack of Coors, there are many many places that can fit the need. This is where you go when you want something delicious, instead of just chasing a buzz on a rough Monday after work.

This is really the only place I buy beer. Ive been coming here for years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly to regular and new customers alike. If youre been to a local convenience store with a Beer Cave only to be disappointed as it was nothing more than a walk in cooler for their Bud products then youll love the walk in they have here. Tons of craft beer for every palate. Follow them on social as they post their new arrivals multiple times a week.

They have a great selection here, but I must have struck a nerve with the older gentleman behind the counter when I asked for the availability of a specific beer. It seems as though this beer is his white whale, but he was incredibly rude during the entire exchange. I appreciate people that have a passion for good beer, but I was insulted with his choice of words. His demeanor completely changed during later interactions, so maybe the lack of this specific beer has left him with a wound that gets re-opened with the very mention of it. Everyone else was friendly and knowledgeable, but the initial encounter ruined my shopping experience.

Pretty nice selection of beer and wine. I do like the walk in fridge! Customer Service is great! They helped me find the perfect beer. I needed a replacement for my discontinued brand and they got me a few to choose from.I didnt think the price was bad. Im on a budget too. I got a Toadies Bock 6 pack for 9.99. My Bellhaven Stout cost me 11.00 fo 4 tall boys and Ive looked for this beer for years. Anyway I was happy. Thanks so much!

Employees are helpful and friendly. However, Ill say it is not worth returning simply because the prices are too high. 12 pack of Corona is $20. Where as the Winco down the street is $15

Lone Star is a mecca for craft brewed beer. They have an awesome selection (dont skip the beer cave), great staff and even the other customers give excellent suggestions for different beers to try.The Friday evening (5-8 PM) tastings are an excellent (free!) way to discover new beers to love or figure out which ones you dont like right now.

This place has a great beer walk-in filled with many treasures. A truly great selection. Great customer service with real passion. Keep up the hard work, guys!

I purchased a variety pack of Bishop Cider to be able to showcase a great Texan beverage for a friend who is new in town. The cider was SOUR. I have drank this local brew many times on occasion, and I know bad expired beer when I taste it. This store must have their old product sitting on their shelves for ages without any kind of inventory management system. I am appalled that I spent $20 on a product this past it’s expiration that it nearly made me choke.Update: Spoke with Sam and he assured me that inventory was under control and this was a Brewery issue. Sure enough the label had an expiration date that I wasn’t able to see before and it was only a couple weeks old. Must have been a bad batch.

Bought a case of beer last night - sign said 20.99. Checked out and was charged 26.99 - when I said wait it says 20.99 - they said yea but too bad we cant refund a beer purchase - they were very rude and I will never go back

I stopped in hoping to find a single gose style beer. My expectations were low as I cant hardly ever find a place that stocks this style. Boy was I surprised to walk in and find 6-7 different brands amongst hundreds of craft beer styles. Needless to say, if you like craft beer, go to lone star.

Lone Star Beverages is a great place to shop for craft beer. Their large bottle selection, walk-in beer cooler, and customer service is great.

I used to like this place. Little by little they raised their prices to the point they r now about 20% more expensive than Total Wine. I have even found the same six-pack of more common beers a dollar less expensive at a grocery store.
