I used this business because. My AC unit had stopped working. Jacob came here in less than 24-hour. It was only the compressor thankfully. Jacob had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. He was professional, honest and thorough. I will used this company again because theyre the best in town and I will request Jacob because he is a great example of how a heating and air company should be run. Had them install a complete a system in 2014 and they did an outstanding job and the 4 technicians were very professional. I called them again to check a problem with my system almost 7 years to the date of the original installation and they came out and found one issue was covered by warranty and gave me a fair price on the whole repair! Again, the technician was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company for worry free customer service.

Great fast service in and out system repaired

The technician was great. He came immediately. He found nothing wrong with my system He stated that its not heating could be attributed to parts not being dusted/cleaned during my routine maintenance, which was done in Oct. This doesn’t make me happy as I had to pay emergency rates for this visit. I was also informed that the maintenance agreement cost would be going up AGAIN! Unacceptable! Customers who have been with the company for a long time and/or senior citizens should be grandfathered in. This company is becoming money grubbing—disappointing.

We have been customers of Merrell and Associates for many years. We wouldn’t trust our home heating and air conditioning needs to any one else. In fact we have 3 homes contracted with them. Service and technician were great! Service was complete and invoice paid in full. The day after the company tried to come back and get additional money for coming out but failed to mention the fee prior to service scheduling and failed to mention while the technician was at our home.I would not refer this company to anyone else and there are other local companies out there that will be better to work with.

We have been using Merrell for 8 years and we have been very happy with them. Their technicians are top notch and they have always taken care of us. This past weekend is a great example. I had a clogged drain line that partially flooded my attic. While they were outside of normal business hours, I left a message on their emergency line. Chris, our usual technician called within five minutes and was at my home within 45 mins. He took care of the problem quickly despite the oppressive heat in my attic.I highly recommend Merrell and Associates for your heating and air needs!

They lost my and my dads business after 30 years because they messed up my ductless system after I paid them to relocate the system for me due to needing to do septic tank work in the yard. They couldnt ever seem to find the problem after they moved it and it never worked right again. After several service calls and no remedy I gave up and Ive had no air conditioning all summer. Luckily I have a dehumidifier function that cools the house but after spending thousands and no AC its very disappointing to say the least. My system worked great before I paid them to relocate it. Sadly they installed the system in the first place so its been very confusing that they cant seem to figure out how to get it working again. Both units freeze after running for a few hours but they could never seem to coordinate to let me know ahead of time when they would be coming (a specific day and time) so every time they showed up I had JUST cut the unit on and they said it worked fine. Its as if they didnt believe me when I told them repeatedly that if was freezing up in the middle of the night and blowing hot air. I finally paid a professional to come and do an actual inspection and he found that the unit was rewired incorrectly. As I expected all along.

Ridiculous ly expensive

They change too much. $ 145 per hour and extra one man came here at 7:50am and finish his job at 10:10am fo changing filters and belts. He went to go buy some filters two times which he waist his labors. They charged me $435 for 3 hours labor . Maybe they are nice to other people but not me. I am an Asian half hour for going to buy filters. They charged more than $200 for going to buy filters

We have been with Merrell & Associates since August 2009. For most of that time I was very happy with them, but something must have happened in the past year or so because I have had some unpleasant experiences and I no longer had the respect & confidence in them that I had before. I swore I would never go back. But this lady called me, completely unaware of the problems I had in the past, and after speaking with her, I decided to give them another chance and I was glad I did. She sent out a man (Mr. Jackson) that was so knowledgeable about my AC systems that I felt like anything was fixable. In other words “I felt good about returning”. He gave me a full print out of both of my systems on how they were operating. Of course I don’t understand all of it but it is nice to have for future reference if needed. It was called “Measurements”. I had never had anyone give me anything like that before. It certainly made me think he really cared about my systems and his company’s reputation. I hope the PM guys are good also, time will tell. If they can keep this kind of good service personal I will be staying with them for a long time. I know that I am not the only one that has had problems in the last year or so, I have heard several sad stories about them but I feel hopeful now and am looking forward to the “Old” Merrell & Associates return.I’m rating it a 3 but I’m hoping it is on its way up to a 5 again. I will change the rating if the good work keeps up.

My technicians name was Mike and he provided excellent customer care on my AC unit. Even though it was at 100 degree weather, he maintained a very friendly and helpful attitude and I appreciate him for that. My unit is working great and it is all Thanks to Mike. Keep up the good work!

Excellent, punctual company...I had a turned out to be minor problem with my new system they were there half hour after the call to fix it. It was fixed in ten minutes and I was educated on a simple fix if it happened again. Matt was very helpful, and the receptionist is always very polite and helpful. Great company and I highly recommend to anyone!

Throughout the years Merrell and Associates have been a great help. When my air condition unit needed replacement, the owner of the company told me how I could get a new unit with monthly payments with no interest for several years. He also helped me get financing for it.When I needed a part put onto my unit recently, they were more then willing to help. I would recommend them to others.

Our HVAC system was knocked out by a lightening strike. Darryl was here the day we called. It took a couple days to figure out, but was more complicated as is a zone system. Darryl stuck with it till it was up and running and we are very satisfied.

I had two separate properties with new heating and Air systems that no other companies could seem to get repaired. After several companies attempted to repair both properties to no avail, finally I reached Merrell & Associates and they were the only company able to repair both systems. I really like how Matt explained the systems and they operate so I could understand how they operated. He explained the maintenance plan and the GPS systems in detailed along with giving examples. Everything was great this time. I just thought it was wrong to charge me for a filter.

I was having trouble with the heating system not keeping the house warm. I called one morning and the technician came that afternoon. Found problem quickly and explained to me. Very professional and polite individual.June. Air conditioner making a lot of noise. We are on one of the maintenance plans, so I called on a Sunday night. Technician was at my house Monday morning early. He found the problem. We have a Trane system and they had to order the part from Trane. The only problem was that it took a week to get the part. Not Merrells fault. When they got the part, they came the next day and my house started cooling by 9:30 AM.

Very very very outstanding service,Im a truck driver with a wife and young children I called over 7 different companies for a late emergency call I called mererelland associates last unfortunately I should have called them first the technician showed up after working 13 hours and fixed my ac when he was very wore outbut stuck to his guns and showed tremendous Care and dedication to our needs. Merrell & Associates has been servicing the librarys HVAC units for decades. When we call them, they usually are on site within 24 hours to service our needs. We contract with them for maintenance, so they do twice yearly maintenance checks on our systems.

I am very disappointed in the way they handled my service call was told one price and then was charged extra because the guy cut a small piece of my vac hose and used my hose and charged me $55.00 to do that Will not use them again and BEWARE of what they tell you
