Met with Eric who performed diagnostics on my air handler. I had concerns about it causing water damage. Not only did he alleviate my concerns, he also explained thoroughly how the system worked and articulated how great the condition was and highlighted potential risks that I could look out for. I really didnt think LexAir could replace our 3 Heating & AC systems in one day but they sure did! They also found a better way to install them that made them more accessible and efficient while giving us more room.Brandon and the installers really know what they are doing and they get it done on time!

My AC stopped working last night so I called Lex to come out this morning, and they arrived about an hour later. Pierre immediately identified a faulty capacitor on the compressor, and replaced it. AC works great now, and he gave me some great tips on how to maintain my system.I paid about $330 out the door, and after looking online seems like the higher end for this kind of service, but from the time I initially called till the issue was solved was less than 2 hours, which in my opinion was totally worth it.Would recommend these guys to a friend!

I had an old HVAC/heating system. After calling a couple of other local businesses and not being able to get service in a reasonable time, I called Lex. They got a person out the same day. A replacement system was proposed and a price was given. I accepted the bid. Two days later the new system was installed. Very professional work. Now we are ready for the winter. Lex followed up when I had a small issue. No additional cost. Very happy with the results. I highly recommend Lex.

Not happy about the price.Scheduled a AC tune-up for $69, ended up spending $844.The extra was a pipe clean-up for $195, and a change of capacitor for $580. The capacitor itself costs less than $100, so the professional installation is about $500??Overall, for a little over an hour’s work, $844 is such a rip off._________________________In response to owners comment,The technician did get the approval to go ahead and change the capacitor as he recommended (although the unit was still functioning alright, we do prefer to fix problems ahead). Sure, it’s partially on us for not verifying the cost ahead of time so we ended up surprised with the bill. But that does not justify the obscene cost. Also no itemized cost on the email receipt I got, which I would much prefer.——————————————UpdateThe water leaking issue that got me called in the first place was not fixed from the $195 drain cleaning. On the receipt they made it very clear that no warranty on clearing drains. The “itemized cost” we got does not separate parts and labor. The owner offered a free visit to check the leaking issue and maybe some discount on the price, hoping that we can remove the review. We find it emotionally draining to deal with this anymore so let’s just leave it like that.Please check other negative reviews here because the obscene charges of changing a simple capacitor seems like a reoccurring theme.

Ive always had good technicians from LexAir, but today Jonathan set a new high standard! He was very thorough checking the out the systems. And he was patient and clear when explaining the status of each (we have four units). I know well be good all season and hope hes the technician who comes back out for the spring AC check.

We had a great experience working with Lex Air! Dusty and team came to the house and explained our options in detail. Once we chose an option for a new system, they worked quickly to get us the soonest installation date possible. The installation team worked quickly and once they were done, gave us a summary of all the work they had done and how to use our new system. Everyone we interacted with at Lex Air was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I dont recommend companies often, but when I do its because they go above and beyond. Lex Air is one of those companies. Angie was fantastic with keeping in touch and giving updates while my sister was in need of having her unit repaired. The service tech Angie had sent out was amazing with his professionalism and knowledge. This company goes the length to make sure their customers are happy, cool (during this hot summer) and satisfied.

The install crew showed up on time and got right to work. They had my new 5-ton AC and heating system completely installed in 4 hours. They did an amazing job, were very courteous, friendly and kept me apprised of everything at every step. These guys knew what they were doing, knew what the job was going to require and they wasted no time getting all of it done. If you need any AC or Heat service, give these guys a call. Their prices are very affordable and you will like their service. PS. I chose my new system on a Thursday afternoon and they were here on Friday morning to get it installed. Really great work!!

What a great company. I was totally impressed and amazed on the repairmen “Attention to Details” Customer Service” “Knowledge “ and being up front.I called 1# Air to come out and do a service call call and cleaning. Then 30 minutes later he told that the whole system needed repairs totaling $6000. I was upset for the system is only 3 years old and the house is 3 years old. He wanted to go back and recheck the system. I said No! And ask him to leave. Called Lex Air and the service came out, introduced him self and he did a complete routine maintenance on the system. His report, a tune up needed and your good to go. System in great shape and no major or minor issues. A clean up was done and he checked the temps of all the vents. Total cost $129 and see me in the fall for another routine maintenance.Again, I asked about the system and he stated it’s still new and in fine shape. Wow! You have my business and will tell others. Thank you!

It all started with calling the office. Even though they were having issues, the ladies that I did talk to were very professional. I dont recall who I talked with maybe I just had a senior moment. Anyway, setting up my appointment for maintenance was painless. Then came the day of my appointment, painless and refreshing. I wasnt needled into any repairs. I was given suggestions and I decided to at least hear the suggestion which was to talk to a comfort advisor. My appointment with Mark and Dusty was fantastic. He was energetic, helpful, not pushy like some sales people. He answered ALL of my questions. He even told me that no question is bad at all. That left me feeling great. He encouraged me to ask more questions and not feel like it was a bother. I told him that right now, I will wait on replacing my system. Both gentlemen were agreed with me and told me if I had any questions feel free to reach out to them. A few days later, I had a question and called the office. Even though the young lady couldnt answer my questions, she did get a young man to talk with me. I believe his name was Brandon. Very help. Our A/C unit quit functioning so we began the search for good repair service. Called several but they were too busy. That turned out to be our good luck. Lex dispatched technician named Adrian who got us up and running. Im not giving a five star review because we have cold air; we paid them for that. Five stars are because of the professional manner in which Adrian approached this job and quality of his work. Im sure their other techs are good as well but Adrian was impressive and I cannot recommend him and Lex highly enough.

Another local AC company told me my entire system needed to be replaced at a cost of $8,700 for their cheapest 3 ton unit and they were prepared to complete the install the next day. Thankfully, after Daniel from Lex Air came out and thoroughly inspected my system, I ended up paying $280.50 for a new thermostat. Many of the issues identified by the first company were trumped up, non-issues. And now I suspect the pictures they showed me werent even from my home. Bottom line, its refreshing to find good, honest people who treat clients like family members or friends. And thats what you can expect from Lex Air!

Fantastic service from start to finish, easy to book for a time that fit my schedule and the tech arrived 5 min earlier than expected. Adrian, our tech, was very friendly, professional and thorough. He explained everything he did and what we might expect from our units over the next year. My downstairs AC stopped cooling in the middle of our 1,000 degree Summer in DFW. Upstairs seemed fine, but downstairs was perpetually just a little cool to sometimes warmish for over a week before I decided to call for assistance. I Googled a list of AC companies with good reviews and Lex Air stood out. The 5 star reviews on this company turned out to be more than true. I called them up and they were on their way to my home to check it out in less than 2 hours. Erik M arrived and checked it all out without delay, and within 20 minutes diagnosed my downstairs systems motor as being stuck and not letting the air flow to the downstairs vents. He thoroughly explained that was how upstairs was still cooling as normal and that the upstairs vents were trying to cool downstairs but were working overtime, and thats why it felt sometimes cool and other times warm downstairs. He went on to explain what parts were needed and confirmed I was no board. He showed up in less than 24 hours with parts in hand, fixed the system, and cleaned the outdoor unit within an hour. My downstairs was already cooling well before he even left, and we are now wearing hoodies in our home due to the AC working so incredibly well. We love it. Erik was as knowledgeable and professional as they come, and fixed us all up in no time. Lex Air is the best AC company we have had experience with in our 26 years of home ownership!

I stumbled upon this company when i was desperate to get someone to my house to fix my AC in the prime of summer! They did NOT disappoint! They got to my house quickly and are very knowledgeable and i did not feel like they were trying to rip me off by any means. Erik Moreno was great. I called at 2pm on a Friday to get an emergency service, and he came that day. Extremely positive and used a nitrogen blast to unclog the unit. Also gave a great explanation about the AC unit and how to keep it working going forward.

We Jonathon and coworker come out for a minor issue and they helped us rule out the problem. They were on time, professional, and friendly. Most of all, they didnt immediately push for an entire new system like some other AC companies have done in the past. We then had regular maintenance performed by Jairo was very knowledgeable and asked for the history of the systems (including a botched fix by another company) and was able to diagnose and explain in laymans terms the best approach going forward. This was not my experience at home however. I believe I got a subcontractor from them for a new install, 14k. These two guys were not professional at all. They did the install, broke our attack ladder and left. The ac didnt even cool down below 80. We called and lexair, they were kinda of responsive, a second crew showed up around 6:30pm the next day and had it cooling by 8pm. We paid for a brand new system and got one, but the experience was way less than five stars. Btw, still waiting for my ladder to be replaced or fixed? 🤔 Do what you say your going to do!

We have used Lex Air for years (had a new unit installed at our old home along with maintenance calls and an expensive repair at our current home). For whatever reason, whenever I try to schedule for issues we always are getting nickel and dimed for service fees. We tried scheduling time with them today and Saturdays are considered extended hours with a $120 fee which is not waived if you do the work through the company. Considering we have done at least $12K in repair/replacements with them, you would think they would be willing to work with a continued customer on these overpriced fees. We called two other recommended companies who both had significantly lower fees than Lex Air to see us same day on the weekend. I’m shocked that Lex Air cares more about $40-$120 more in fees on the weekend than securing work through a repeat customer.We truly like the quality of work and the techs but I’m just tired of the ridiculous fees and run around when we call to schedule.

We have a home warranty, but it doesnt cover nights or weekends. Our AC broke down, Saturday night. With it being July in Texas, waiting until their contractors to come out on Thursday was not an option.We made the decision to call Lex Air on Sunday, around 11:30 AM. The human (big bonus!!) who answered the phone scheduled someone to come out, that day between 2:30 and 6:30. At 3:15, Victor came to our door.He was thorough, corteous, and fast! He checked multiple possibilities for the problem, diagnosed the problem, and offered me options on how the AC could be fixed.After we made our decision, Victor had the parts in his truck, and fixed it, immediately. While AC repair is never cheap, I feel that the price was acceptable, due to the speed that they arrived, and the knowledge of Victor to diagnose and fix the problem. Well be using them, again!

My ac was not working and now that its Texas summer weather my house was turning into a sauna. Called last night and the fit me in next day. The technician called to let me know he was on the way and gave me 20 minutes notice. He was so helpful and informative and encouraged me to watch him work so he could explain any issues he found. I was very concerned I was going to need a new unit and even more concerned I wouldnt need one but get told I did. The fix was very simple and he did not try to suggest anything unnecessary to fix it. So happy with the service I received, I will 100% recommend Lex Air!

If youre looking for a trustworthy, reliable HVAC company look no further. My building has experienced HVAC issues for the better half of the year. The company we used to use was coming out monthly, just throwing guesses at us as to what the issue could be. They even told us we had a computer somewhere actually controlling the temperature, and that until we found it we would have issues. Of course that sounded fishy to me - Lex Air came in for a second opinion and found the issue ON THE FIRST TRY! Furthermore, they made space in their busy schedule to get the work done ASAP. They even located parts which is a crazy task in itself due to covid. This isnt even the best part - EVERYONE on their team went above and beyond. The co-owner Cory squeezed me in the schedule and got me the quote for the work ASAP. Super friendly guy! He didnt seem bothered at all when I called him on his cell phone multiple times with questions. Dispatch called me back with updates. Every. Single. Time. I know that seems so small, but way too often I would call/email my HVAC company and it was like I was screaming into an abyss. Their tech Victor is either a wizard or genius. Maybe a hybrid of some sort. He diagnosed the issue in record time and completed it even faster. He got in his truck and went to Home Depot for parts just to make sure the job was done same day. He was keeping me in the know every step of the day. PLEASE dont get me started on Luis either! Godsent. If youre still reading this I know it seems excessive - I just really cant say enough. Luis is the manager and he PERSONALLY visited my site when I complained to him about all our past issues. I dont think I have enough room to talk about what all he did for me. This company saved my behind - as a facility manager, the constant HVAC issues were making me look bad. Last thing - BOTH Luis, the manager, and Victor the technician called me on my cell phone 2-3 days after the work was performed to ask if everything was working still. I have never had any vendor in any industry do this. Theyre worth every penny believe me.

Lex Air was very responsive. The technician was timely, considerate, and very efficient. He had to replace approximately 30 foot of damaged/cracked PVC condensate drain pipe line that was leaking. He did that and blew out the lines all within about 40 minutes. Great job.

My AC unit went down on a Saturday afternoon recently during the hottest day of the year here in Dallas. I contacted Lex Air Conditioning during after hours and the phone was answered on the first try and also had a Lex technician named Jairo show up in just a few hours.Unfortunately, my unit needed parts that had to be purchased from a parts store and I had to wait until Monday to get the AC unit repaired.The lab technician - Jairo demonstrated professionalism, courtesy and well qualified to trouble shoot my AC unit.Jairo contacted me first thing Monday morning and provided an estimated time of his arrival. He ended up showing up earlier than what he originally scheduled.My AC unit ended up getting repaired and working properly by 10:15 am.I happy to report my experience with Lex Air Conditioning was first class and I could not be more satisfied.Please consider this company for any of your AC and Heating repairs.Respectfully,D. The gentleman that came to to our house was very professional and presented himself well from the opening of the door. He put his mask on and covered his footwear while introducing himself and discussing why he was present. As he completed the PM part of the visit he carefully went over things that could use some upgrade, things that could could be replaced and things that he feels need immediate attention. I went back over what I interpreted and what I would like to get done now. He did the work that needed immediate action and we settled the bill. I didnt feel pressured to purchase or replace unnecessary things and didnt feel like he was trying to get over. Often when people from companies like that doing work on houses come by for any reason I feel like they are trying to get over. Even the same company has had people that I didnt care for their approach or even knowledge of HVAC. I will ask for this gentleman from now on for as long as I decide to use this company. I believe his name is Erik but I do have it logged into my phone with comments about his professionalism.

Roy, our technician, came out to our home today for our scheduled appointment. He arrived within the appointment window, was very professional and courteous, thorough, and answered all of my questions, which was quite a few. Lol. He was patient, and took the time to explain exactly what he did, and what he recommend that needed to be done to keep our AC running properly. This is the second time, they’ve been to our home, and would use and definitely recommend them again.

He was very professional and help us figure out what was happening to the school unit and fixed it right away. We are thankful to not be without ac in the summer!

Victor arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable about my Trane system. His work was thorough and precise. He communicated his findings and asked if I had questions. Victor represented Lex Air well and is symbolic of the quality I have come to expect from all Lex Air employees.

I just had my A/C Spring Service completed. My technician Manny was great. He answered all my questions and was very nice and courteous. He also did a very thorough job making sure all the components of my A/C are in great shape for the summer months ahead. Manny also had some great suggestions that I intend to follow up on that I can either do myself or have done to keep my equipment working in top order. My tech today, Manny, and others that have come out always give me more knowledge about how to maintain my systems and how they work. It is always a pleasure and a learning experience for me. I really appreciate the time that they take being helpful and thorough.

Dusty and Mark I think its his name were very professional when they came to our home to give us the estimate. I didnt fell pressure at all to buy the new AC unit. They installed a new Trane Machine with variable speed. Also, all of the Ducts they added a couple of Vents and a return. The Technicians were very professional and did all the work in one day. They fixed my 2nd floor issue with the installation of a 2nd thermostat and bigger ducts and did a zoning system. After all the years living in this house this is the first time that our 2nd floor feels comfortable and also our electric bill is waaay cheaper. Thank you very much! This company is great!

Furnace fan motor went out during recent rolling blackouts. House was 52 degrees. Luis showed up in an hour and diagnosed the problem fast. Part was not in stock due to icy roads. Luis persistently hunted down the part and returned the next morning to install, much to our surprise. He really went above and beyond, very sympathetic to our dire situation. Highly recommend Lex Air and if possible, ask for Luis.

Luis was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in figuring out what was wrong with our heater. He was honest about whether we needed repairs and what the exact repairs would be. We will definitely recommend and use this company again.

Roy was absolutely professional and very qualified to help us with our A/C issues. He went above and beyond to not only do his job but to also ask about and fix additional issues we were having with operatating our system. He showed me how to connect both of our units to the ecobee WiFi so I can now adjust from my cell phone. Nobody has taken the time to work with us or show us how the units work and what is needed to keep them running effectively. So glad you sent Roy to help us today! Thank you 😊

They were very good and Kenny S. went beyond the call of duty and followed up regularly with me to make sure it all went well. Roy was the actual service guy and he too was very conscience to be careful and thorough in his work. We are very pleased with Lex Air.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BEWARE! AVOID this company at all costs! If I could give this company NO STAR, I would.In the summer of 2017, I purchased a heating/AC maintenance plan ($160), which allows for one heating maintenance checkup and one AC maintenance checkup a year. They came to service me in the summer for my AC checkup. However, NEVER came for the fall for my heating checkup. When I called, I spoke with Rebecca Selbach. She was very rude and condescending. She informed me apparently it is up to the customer to call and schedule for second service. They do NOT give you a courtesy call, reminding you of services you have already prepaid for, nor to schedule you for your second service.So in Feb 2019, I remembered they never fulfilled the heating maintenance checkup. I called and scheduled. A technician came out, was in my attic (where my AC/heating unit is located) for close to 1 hour and then came down and said “everything looks good. No recommendations. I just need you to sign this because you owe nothing. You’ve already paid.” I signed his phone and asked for a receipt and detailed list of what was done today. He said it would be emailed to me.The next day I had still received nothing. I called the office and spoke with Rebecca, who said the company did not have my email on file and that’s why nothing had been sent yet. She would send me the invoice, then call me back. So if I would not have called, nothing would have been sent to me.Rebecca called me back. I looked over the invoice and noticed in the description, under completion notes it states: checked filter no issues found. I asked why wasn’t my air filter changed. She said “we do not change the air filter, unless the customer asks us to. But the tech checked your air filter and documented that no issues were found.” To which I responded “the last time my air filter was replaced was when you serviced my home in 2017. So I highly doubt, it did NOT need to be changed, which makes me believe the tech lied and did not check it. This further makes me doubt if he did anything that he said he did while at my home.” She argued with me and said “well it is your word against his.” She also scolded me and said “as a homeowner you are supposed to change your air filter yourself and it depends on the cleanliness and allergens in your home on how often you should change your air filter.” I told her “I understand as a homeowner I am supposed to change my air filter myself. However if I am paying you to service my heating and AC, when you come out and check my air filter and see that it needs to be replaced, you need to change it at the date of service or verbally recommend to me that it needs to be changed because it is dirty. However your company failed to do EITHER of these. You came to my house. Said everything looks good, no recommendations. You lied and documented there were no issues were found with my filter. I need to speak to a manager because if you are telling me an air filter has no issues and does not need to be changed when I am telling you the last time it was changed was in 2017, then I need to speak to someone else.” She told me no managers where in the office at the time but someone would call me back. I did not receive a call that day at all.The next day someone did call me. I was unavailable and they left a message.I checked my air filter for myself. Guess what? It was so dirty, I had to rip it out. This company NEVER checked it and they probably did not do ANY of the other services that they documented that they did.If you argue with your customers, scold them and tell them what they should be doing as homeowners and have no integrity with your work, you should NOT be in business. I know as a homeowner, air filters should be changed ever 3-6 months. However sometimes things get busy, which is why I purchased a heating/AC maintenance plan. But to be treated with such disdain is horrible! What would resolve my issue? A full refund of $160.

I am very particular about who I do business with and ended up getting estimates from 5 different companies and Lex Air offered the biggest bang for your buck and quality Trane units. Their team is super professional, knowledgeable and polite. I would highly reccomend this company. All of my referrals for AC services will go to Lex Air from here on out! Great job guys!
