I was visiting from NJ and my friend brought me to Oasis. One of the best energy spots I have ever been to and I am 46. Incredible, incredible staff. Definitely buy and read the books that Robert has written. Spiritually powerful as it gets. One Love!

Oasis is without question the best place in Carrboro to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The owner, Robert, is welcoming and the products offered are top notch. It would probably be a great place to catch up on some work too, but I like it just for the relaxing and inviting ambience.

One of the most comfortable places to get coffee and tea in the area, even by Carrboro’s high standards, owned and operated by an “ex-hippy” with a spiritual vibe. Good access to free Carrboro WiFi, plenty of outlets and comfy chairs, and serving up Kratom and Kava at fair prices (even edibles). Also has pastries and some food options; vegan options included. Can’t recommend it higher.

As Jesus followers, Oasis is a safe place to amplify our prayers for the state of the world, our friends, and ourselves. The feeling of non-judgment here is refreshing.

This is a true oasis in every sense of the word. I moment I entered, I felt as though this place gathered me into a warm hug. I sipped my delightful herbal tea inside what felt like a cloud of peace. I havent felt such soul-stirring, soothing harmony with an environment outside of my apartment until I found Oasis. I am incredibly grateful for its existence and the kindness of the people who keep it alive.

Warning: I had a very bad reaction to Kratom and would not recommend this drink to anyone based on serious side effects I encountered.

This is the only place I could find Kratom! The mall is very quaint, but I do like the specialty shops within it.

Its a wonderful peaceful place to stop for a pot of tea, especially one to share. Ill have to recommend the earl grey although its the only tea Ive tried thus far. The smoothies and hot cocoa sound wonderful too and cant wait to try one of those next visit. I wish I lived closer as this is a place I could routinely visit, it will definitely be a spot to stop by every time Im in town.

Pictures of the interiors dont do justice to what meets the eye. The decor demands appreciation and the ambience is just right for quiet chat or quality time with your book. They serve only 1 coffee and they pride themselves about it being award winning coffee 2 years in a row. I decided to chance upon it and it was indeed good ! They do have soy milk options. Do ask.They tea menu is extensive and the gentleman behind the register is a very amicable. The Mexican hot chocolate was good. It had a tinge of spiciness to it but that just helps the tastes.The corner closer to the entrance doesnt have WiFi. But, the rest of the cafe does cater to the social ones.Great interesting interiors with pleasant ambience. I am coming again and again !... and again !

Oasis at Carr Mill really lives up to its name, it acts as a beautiful little oasis outside of the hustle and bustle in the world. Robert and the staff of Oasis are some of the kindest and sweetest people around and will treat you with the respect that every person deserves. There are frequent events, and every time I drop by (about once a month or so) people are sitting or lounging in different areas talking or singing, or laughing. It really is a wonderful little shop that serves all kinds of tastes and interests. It might not be the best place to stop if youre in an awful hurry, but do yourself a little favor, take a breath, slow down a bit, and drop by when you have a chance.

Nice place to study. Prices rather on the higher side for a student but likely worth it. Maybe not a place to go every day but certainly a very cozy spot to sit down and study, when one gets tired of studying in the library settings.

Oasis is my go to place to decompress and fill my cup. The staff are like family to me. The vibe is incredibly welcoming.

Awesome, hidden gem in Carr Mill - absolutely LOVE this place, the people, and the ambiance of Oasis. It has a peaceful atmosphere and the staff are great at recommending various drinks on the menus.They also host great events (i.e. magic shows), but is moreso a place to relax, study, and hang out. The staff is pleasant, courteous, and wonderful too.

In all frankness, looking from the outside gives you a pretty accurate idea of what its gonna be like on the inside. If it doesnt look like your speed, it probably wont be. If it looks like youd like it, you probably will. If youre on the fence, go in, give it a try, I think youll be surprised how much you like it. All the people, the atmosphere, very worth it.

This is such a nice place to study and sip on some yummy tea/coffee. Theres open WiFi, a cute area where you can sit on the floor with cushions...all together a very Carrboro spot.

Best ginger spice Chai to be had. Lovely little venue for music and relaxation. Small menu of vegetarian options which is a nice option is not in the mood for sweets. Very reasonably priced. Very grateful for this Oasis.

Where all paths meet...Robert Roskind brings a quiet serenity to his tea and coffee shop nestled in Historic Carr Mill Mall. So easy to drop in and chat, I enjoy his tea specialties including the Sweet Carolina (no sugar and no artificial sweetener, but a delight) vegetarian dishes from Vimalas, and gluten-free pastries and delicious chocolates. Beer and Wine for those who partake.One of the best parts of visiting Oasis is the people you will meet. Robert doesnt know a stranger and his shop attracts open and kind-hearted folks. Oasis is the perfect spot to meet a friend or a client, and then come back for music and/or a seminar in the evening.

Everyone here is always friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. Before you try the Kava or Kratam for the first time they explain to you exactly what it is, how it works, and the very rare potential side effects. Although it is technically legal to sell to someone under 18 they do not which is very ethical of them. Their talks and events at night are very cool and I’ve learned a lot.

This is a coffee, tea and natural healing place. Its a cozy coffee/tea shop in the middle of car mill mall and offers safe, and trustworthy Kratom, kava and CBD products. All three are safe natural ways to help symptoms of a lot of chronic illness such as chronic pain, anxiety, depression, tension, insomnia, lethargy, brain fog and so much more. The owner is very knowledgeable & will help you with anything and help you try these helpful products. As a chronically ill person suffering for 10 years now Kratom has been a life changer for me.
