Absolutely superb store and range. Friendly, patient, affordable (especially if you get a membership, which if youre going to shoot more than once a month is a no-brainer). Josh was a huge help with selecting various rental pistols for our morning session, and I cant recommend the place enough. Friendly and outgoing without being pushy, and a pleasant clientele.

Ive been going here for a few years now. Great, friendly and well knowledgeable staff. Most of the time what I need is in stock. Maybe its covid or something but I needed someone to take a look at my rifle. I had an issue with something that needed a gunsmith. Site said they had one and granted; I should have called ahead. They said they didnt have one at all. A place of that caliber...no pun intended, should definitely have one on staff. My only complaint. Other than that, they are excellent.

Great staff and range. Good for handgun and small caliber rifle. Pretty much anything you want to shoot at 25 yards. Shop is decent with a great selection of firearms. Ammo is scarce, but right now it is everywhere and the guys at Shoot are doing what they can to help us out. Get a membership. Its worth it.

Husband and I recently completed Basic Handgun class at Indy North. It was an enjoyable experience for me as a total novice and a great refresher for him. Instructor was knowledgeable, good communicator and so patient. The team of instructors on range were attentive to individual needs and reassuring to those lacking experience and/or confidence. Highly recommend this class.

Five years ago, living in Memphis Tenn., I decided to apply for a Handgun Permit. After looking for the right place to take my certification, I decided on SPB in Memphis. Great facility, friendly, concerned, dedicated staff - dedicated to ensuring that new gun owners understood how to safely handle a gun and understood the laws. I moved to Indianapolis 3 1/2 years ago and I am now a member of SPB Carmel. The team here is as remarkable as I could imagine. Highly knowledgeable, skilled and ready to help with any weapon, training or permit questions. The range is managed very professionally, clean, well kept, air filtration is very good. As a member going online to reserve lane time is wonderful - never had an issue with overbooking. The rental weapons are very well kept and all the newest are available. I have told everyone I work with, my neighbors and my friends that this is ONLY place to EVER go to with questions or to purchase any equipment or weapons. SHOOT POINT BLANK is MY STORE.

Went to the SPB in Carmel to look at handgun’s for my wife. David was very professional and answered all of our questions and helped us find a gun that she liked that fit her hands. We’ve been to the range a few times now, and it’s always clean and well managed, and the Range Officers have been extremely helpful. Looking forward to taking a class or two there in the future.

Claude was super helpful with helping me find the perfect firearm for my needs. He helped me feel comfortable and confident with my purchase and even directed me to training class opportunities within the store. He is a great person to have on the team.

A great indoor range in the north Indy area. Never had a problem getting range time and enjoy the firearms, ammo, targets, range guns to try, and accessories available in the large store area. If they don’t have it today, they’ll get it for you.The range is well built, lighted and ventilated. Target hangers are practical and easy to use. Range Safety Officer always inside and friendly.Their membership priming is good; and they have special pricing for military, veterans, and LEOs. Lunch time half price during the week is great, running three hours mid-day. My favorite range.

Mike Thompson was a great teacher. He just was very confident and experienced about handguns and it transferred to me! I was very limited in experience before this class.

I called to see if they had the ammo that I want, the guy on the phone told me they did and how much it is. So I drove 1 hour to buy what I wanted and was told that they would only sell it to me if I were buying a gun or for their rang. I explained to the salesman that I called and was told that they had some for sale. He was very rude about it. Apparently since I’m not a regular there they didn’t want to deal with me so I will never go back there or refer anyone to go there.

This place has it all and well organized. We came out to just shoot a couple of rounds but ended up staying to talk to the guys about more guns. The guys were really knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this place as a shooting range and gun store.

Great range with solid store attached. With ammo prices having skyrocketed, getting range time, even on the weekend, is seldom a problem. Good range safety officers.Store prices are mostly full retail. Staff is generally friendly, but Ive run into some that shouldnt be working a retail sales counter.Overall, good place to shoot and occasionally buy.

Shoot Point Blank is hands down the best range I have been to. They have a broad array of services, a very clean and well-stocked store, and the 2 classes I have taken were wonderful. As a Member, I have enjoyed the quick check-in, reserving of lanes in advance. Ive purchased several firearms at the Carmel IN location as well.

I went in looking for a handgun for my wife and was quickly assisted in finding something that worked for her.Would have given 5 stars but the person that did the paperwork seemed a bit “distracted”. I didn’t notice but my wife mentioned it after the fact.Otherwise, enjoyed the experience and was happy with the visit.

The staff and facilities are incredible. The prices of their firearms aren’t as good as I would like for being as big of a company as it is. Other than my cheapness it’s a great place with friendly helpful staff.

Great place for folks new to learn how to shoot a gun. My husband and I took a hand gun class and the trainer, Mike T, went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable in the gun range. When things were going the right way, he helped make adjustments so that I got an experience that helped me learn. Outstanding!

Great place for people new to guns. Chris and Ron were both extremely patient and knowledgeable in walking me through some gun choices for my needs/wants. They werent rushed and took their time with me; and they are just pleasant guys to be around. Although I came at a time where gun demand was very high due to the coronavirus and the civic unrest, they did not inflate their costs and gave me good and fair prices. Also, their range clean and nice and in the three times I have been there, all three staff members were knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Highly recommend!!

I have never had an issue here. I 1000X prefer an outdoor range over indoor, but that isnt always an option. My indoor option is always point blank. The staff I have experienced is knowledgeable, easy to chat with, and most importantly safe. Their firearm selection is great. Would like to see another 1 or 2 more people on the sales floor as it is pretty hard to look at anything if the store is remotely busy.Overall great experience.

I have been an Elite Member for 4 Years now. I have had nothing but great experiences with the Staff, Range Experience and Sales. Even now when times are tough for finding firearms and ammunition, they are not price gouging and doing as well as anyone else when it comes to keeping stock!

I have been a regular customer pretty much since they opened. The team is always friendly and willing to let you just browse around or show you what you want to see.

Just moved to the area. You can’t use your own ammo in the range and they don’t have ammo. This makes the range totally worthless. I have never been to a range that doesn’t let you use your own factory loaded ammo. As I listened to employees explain certain types of firearms, they need some training. It’s a nice place but that’s about it.

I purchased a brand new gun last evening. The sales associate never brought the gun to the counter for me to test nor did he test it himself. I get the gun home, rack the slide, and it will not return to battery. I bring the gun back to the store the next morning, where the manager comes out and tells me I am a liar, that the associates always check the guns and rack them before selling them, and I need to take it up with the manufacturer. Refuses to even look at the gun to determine whether it is an easily correctable issue, or to exchange it for a gun that works (which they had in the case). I encourage you not to shop at this location, as they do not stand behind their sales, lie about their practices, and are exceptionally rude and dismissive.

The staff is knowledgeable, but I have found that they seem bothered and even annoyed whenever you ask them a question. I rarely do reviews, let alone bad ones, but I have been to other point blanks and they are much better with customer service then this one.

Took a basic gun safety class and our instructor was Mike. He is the most patient professional trainer and extremely knowledgeable. We felt much more confident handling guns and left with basic knowledge of handguns. We hope to practice and take more advanced class later. Thank you Mike.

Nice range, good/fair prices. OK selection of ammo. Ive run into a couple issues with wait times (for both range access and gun pickup) - especially on weekends. Todays visit there was a slow-moving line of probably 10-12 people just trying to get on the range and I felt there were too few people working the counters.Id suggest calling ahead to check how busy they are or maybe avoid Saturday visits.They seem to run a good, safe business and each person has been very friendly/helpful.

So I have a stimulus check, and as a red blooded American patriot, I knew it was my duty to stimulate the economy. And what better way to do so then buying a firearm. My girlfriend and I went in, and were cordially greeted by an employee named Matt. He asked what I was looking for, and I told him what I wanted. While I was looking to purchase a modern rifle, I told him what I truly desired, but he told me that they wouldnt be able to get it. Considering what I was pining for was a 70+ year old Russian rifle, I wasnt surprised.So then I told him my ideal second choice. After showing me a good option for my intended purpose, that of home defense, I pointed out what I liked on the rack and he showed it to me. I was going to go with this rifle, but after seeing an iron sight would cost about as much as the rifle that came stock with a laser sight, Matt basically convinced me without even trying to buy the aforementioned laser sight rife.Then we hit a snag. My bank wouldnt let the charge go through, even though I had enough available credit. Matt offered to keep it behind the counter while I called them. Forty plus minutes later, I came back in and Matt sold me my firearm.This store was really clean. Very professional, with a good selection. And because of social distancing, when I came back in to buy my firearm, a different employee very politely told me they were over capacity. So I waited until some people left, ran my credit card, and went home with a brand new Smith and Wesson AR-15.I have to say that Matt, who worked on April 20th of 2020, was the exact perfect person I wanted to deal with. He didnt pressure me into a sale or put a firearm into my hands I didnt want, he didnt try to sell me an overpriced case when I just wanted a basic one, he was professional without being phony, and answered all of my clearly idiotic questions; because I can fix/diagnose car problems, but knew only the basics of firearms. If I had more men like him on my team at my job, It would make my life so much easier. Give this man a raise, lord knows he deserves it.

Went into the store because they posted a sign in the store saying they were having a big sale. I happened to take a picture of the sign because I wanted to remember the information. I arrived on the second day of the sale and they said we wont honor the sale price, it now only applies to 9mm ammo. The only reason I came into the store was because of the sale I saw a two days earlier. The manager Sean was rude and dismissive. He told me they could do whatever they wanted to, and that he didnt care they had an advertisement. I said it sure seemed like bait and switch and he asked me to leave. Not a place I want to do business with.

Ive now been to the range about 4 times and each time has been a great experience. From checking in, while shooting and leaving. No issues and everyone seems to care about the well-being of each of the customers. The person stationed in the range is constantly moving back an forth making sure customers are handling their arms safely. Ventilation is good and its been clean on each visit. They have great deals on items in their stores, just make sure to get on their email list. This is my range of choice in the area.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered a gun at a good price had then I waited for 10 days with no information regarding my firearm. Next I tried contacting shoot point blank. Still no answer. 5 days later they finally responded and told me that they never actually had the gun and that they couldn’t sell it to me. I would have ordered from somewhere else if I knew they weren’t going to have it. Since I had to wait over 15 days I did not have the opportunity to purchase the firearm from somewhere else before it sold out. Also during those days before they contacted me they held on to my money for over 15 days.

I Love this place. Point blank is the best shooting range in all of North of Indy, and Northeast of Indy. The staff is really professional, and friendly when it comes too asking questions. They dont judge you for not knowing anything about shooting or riffles. They want too teach the right way about using ranges. The female range manger Libby Is so nice, Professional. The staff is very respectful. First time going too this range, and It will not be the last time neither. Clean, Maintain facility, respectful staff non like the other shops around Indianapolis which the staff will make fun of you at front of your face for not knowing a simple gun question. I LOVE POINT BLANK!!

I have a membership here. I find it a good value if you like to shoot regularly. The shop is clean and has a good selection of guns and products. All the employees are nice. Im not as critical as some people of minor things, waiting for help and such. They are often busy and there are only so many people. They are not range nazis so long as your not acting a fool. I like this place and I think if your a regular guy who likes guns you will too.

Poor customer service couldnt even get help looking for a holster for my weapon while 4 employees stood around talking they even had the wrong information with the weapon i had on layaway definitely glad i decided not too purcahse the weapon from their store i wont be back

Took a class and was impressed with the care in which instructors laid out the information, and did not overwhelm. Very clean, professional and good lighting.

Im a member and shoot there often. Great place to shoot. The RSOs arent overbearing (Greenwood store is a different story...one RSO there likes to comment and make suggestions that are unwelcome and unnecessary) but they keep everyone on the line in order so you dont have to worry about uncased arms behind the line. Prices are not too bad either and sometimes negotiable. Highly recommend a membership if you shoot a lot.

Only store credit when selling. The range has a culture of violence instead of sport and community. Everybody talks about wanting to be broken into so they can shoot somebody. For shoot point blank to allow this type of conversation is alarming and is unlike the conservation clubs I grew up in where firearms and the sport are respected. At any respectable range, patrons talking this way would be asked to leave.

Very nice store, large and lots of items to choose from. However, it ends there. All I wanted to do was check out with a holster I had selected and it just didnt happen. It was admittedly busy, however, thats no excuse for not even acknowledging a customer. Especially one purchasing an accessory...markup is sky high on accessories.Gun prices were OK. Not great, but not as high as gander - but thats not saying much. I just wish I had not stood there for 10 minutes, being completely ignored, when all I wanted to do was give some money and leave. Thats OK though, thankfully with the large selection they had, I was able to find the holster that I need, and will go buy it on amazon w/ the appropriate model number.In short, they need to implement a number/ticket system for customers when they walk in the door, and have an express checkout section. OH wait, they DO have an express checkout station, but of course, no one was manning it. Had there been any indication of organization on how to handle customers, that would have been a huge bonus...but they dont and customers kind of just fend for themselves. I wont be buying anything there. However, I certainly may go to check out holsters and such to find the right model for the firearm Im shopping for to buy on amazon.

This is a great store and shooting range. The staff is very welcoming and eager to answer any questions you may have. Prices seem reasonable although I have not compared against others in the area. They have lots of weekly specials including a date night on Friday evening which is fun. The range staff is great and there is a high level focus on safety. All in all a great range and firearms store. We will be going back frequently.

Walked in with my 10 years old son for the first time. Jim could not have been more patient with him! What an incredible experience! All our needs were met to perfection. He can’t wait to go back!

I have been to this location to shoot twice and shopping 3 times. I am a first time gun owner. Always polite staff. Range lines can get very long though. Would love to see a separate line for those who are membership holders. Picked up a firearm transfer and process was smooth. Was available for pick-up 1 day after it was delivered. Overall a great range IMO.

First time shooting indoors, Im used to being outside. I appreciated being able to watch videos before coming to see what the experience would be like. Im not new to guns but it was a bit intimidating walking in the first time. Once I got there I realized there was no reason to be intimidated. The employees seemed like they would be willing to help if I needed any assistance, but just let me do my thing! Everything seemed to be in good condition, and you dont have to buy anything else except range time. you can bring your own ears, glasses, ammo, targets.

We used Groupon available for use at Point Blank. The ear and eye protection good. Helpful staff at a great modern facility. Sound proofing and air quality good. Very clean top notch building in Carmel. Highly recommend Point Blank range in Carmel. Wear closed-toe shoes or else you will have to buy and wear disposable foot covers if you have flip flop-like👣 footwear on.

Had a jam at the range today. Staff was very helpful. Got some of their gunsmiths involved. Stopped the lane timer while they working on my gun. No charge. Turned out to be defective ammo that I had purchased elsewhere. Great customer service!

Line of about 20 people to get into the range waited about 15 minutes during which time they didnt even process a single person into the range. Seem like a nice place but without some service I dont know for sure.

Very disappointed. I wanted to take my 13 year old daughter shooting for the first time. I called ahead to see how busy they were. Was told nobody was there and it was quiet. Got there 15 minutes later and it seemed somewhat busy. Ok, so we paid for a lane for 30 minutes and kids under 14 are free with a parent according to their signage. They charged me. I didnt say anything. Not interested in confrontation just was to teach my daughter to shoot. We got to our lane and the place was packed. Every lane full, a training class and many large caliber weapons in use. She was very quickly uncomfortable and after 5 rounds we left. Not there more than 3 minutes. Nobody said a word, nobody asked if they could help us. Just cleared our lane. I stood waiting to speak to the guy running the lane rental and was ignored. Finally just said excuse me very loud and he and the shift leader acknowledged my existence. I shared with them that I had called ahead and was just disappointed we couldnt shoot. All I wanted was a rain check so I could bring her back when it wasnt busy. The shift leader went on making excuses. I said, I just want a rain check. We were there for 3 minutes. Seems like a reasonable request. After he continued in his condescending tone making excuses, I said forget it. You just had to say Im sorry you didnt have a good experience and what can we do. A simple sentence. I wasnt mad or upset just disappointed my daughter didnt have a good first experience. I guess I probably wont be back but really annoying since they took my money for nothing.

I like this place, the range is incredible. BUT.....Im not sure about the prices being cheap, they seem to be more on the high end. (Not as high as the big box sporting good stores, though). They do have periodic sales though, which are great. My biggest concern was while walking around with my daughter, we were approached by a female employee that asked if my daughter liked shooting. When she said not really, the employee told her she should hang a picture up of someone she doesnt like, and shoot at that. Thats not acceptable, and I dont want my daughter to think it is. That being said, Ive been back several time, and will continue to shop here. Just use common sense when talking to the employees.

Friendly people and inviting place. Range safety officers are very helpful. I had a double jam on my 9mm and wasn’t sure how to safely clear. The range officer had it cleared in a second and showed me how to clear it.

A great place to shoot! 25-yard indoor range with awesome vent system. A flat-fee gun-rental program, so you pay once and shoot as many of their rentals as you want. Great, fun staff, too.Theres so many misconceptions surrounding the acquisition of firearms, and staff is happy to explain the intricacies of this HIGHLY REGULATED sales environment.

I can’t stand a gun range that doesn’t allow a single shooter who is a non member. The associate said it was just in case I was having a bad day. Well I was not and am not. Policy is policy but that will not prevent a suicide it will only create a murder suicide. Sounds like this place is run by a bunch of liberals. Also, they will not transfer a gun out of you buy from them. I was going to buy the Henry Big Boy chambered in 44 mag.
