Great grocery store and pharmacy. They also have a 1 cent pony ride for kids to enjoy.

Usually a very clean store and well stocked. They tend to have just enough cashiers, but like other stores they could have more. Way too many self checkouts taking jobs away. Bakery and Produce dept cant be beat.

Bought the Meijer brand BBQ baked beans in the plastic container. I get home and go to open the baked beans and they were already opened. Also there were bags of Halloween candy that had been open as well sitting on display shelves just as you walk in the door of Meijer. I feel the staff at this store need to check the items they are selling more often.

Been shopping here for almost fifteen years and have noticed the steady decline in quality and service. There are days when the produce is outstanding but a lot less often than before. Bakery and Meat section are average. Fish below average. Most days not enough lanes open so your stuff melts or thaws while you wait in line. Self checkout is pretty good and the prices are better than the other two competitors, but I am not sure this enough to keep me coming here.

Do not buy gift cards from Meijer!!! Wanna grab a gift card for your friend as gift in Meijer? THINK AGAIN!!! You might get yourself into trouble and losing money for no reason!!!We got a $100 gift card for Nordstrom Rack from Meijer in September 2021. Try to used it yesterday at Nordstrom rack near keystone. The cashier at the Nordstrom rack told us it was not activated! We went back to Meijer, but Meijer won’t return or activate the gift card for us. They claimed it was correctly activated, gave us a receipt showing it was activated. The manager at Meijer told us call Nordstrom, we did. But Nordstrom card center still cannot find this gift card, kept telling us the card wasn’t activated, tell us to go back to the vender who sold us this card. We went back to Meijer to see the store manager, but he still won’t refund us gift card, because it was shown as activated in their system. He kept telling us to call Nordstrom to get a new gift card. We called but Nordstrom call center supervisor told us it was a very old gift card, and the vender were not allowed to sell them. This is ridiculous, meijer and Nordstrom kept kicking us around and neither of them will take responsibility!!! When we left Meijer, I checked, they were still selling the old version gift cards for Meijer!!! Don’t buy gift cards for Meijer!!! Their gift cards are so out dated and their systems are so outdated as well!!!

The store was very clean, was greeted upon arrival. Everything was well organized so you was able to find everything very easily. Prices are very affordable as well.

This is a huge grocery store with great selection and good prices. There’s also a gas station nearby with a good air pump to inflate tires. They give 10% off their already low prices for wine if you get four bottles or more. There is a Starbucks inside.

Amazing produce, deli, and cheese sections. I wish my local stores looked like this. It was pretty crowded for an early afternoon weekday trip. Donuts were picked over. They had the salad I wanted for less than Target. I saw several Shipt shoppers. Maybe I looked too friendly or something, but I had like three people ask me where things were or how to use an ingredient, lol. Lots of clearanced womens clothing. Watch the snooty old White ladies at self checkout because they will cut the line. Trash cans in the parking lot. I usually enjoy Meijer but this one was kinda lame to be honest. They just didnt have a variety of things like most others do. The store was kinda disorganized and no one seemed like they wanted to help anyone out or really knew what they were doing. Clothes in the clothing department were haphazardly thrown everywhere and the same goes for the shoes. The shelves were not stocked at all and again everything was just thrown around. Disappointed in this store.

One of the best kept Meijer stores in the city. Wish mine (in Avon) had a speedy checkout for app users.

Staff is friendly and store is clean, but they’re REGULARLY out of stock of formula and baby food. If you need to feed your infant, don’t waste your time and go elsewhere.

I enjoy shopping at Meijer. I thought Id never say that because shopping at Wal-Mart for the past 20 years has always been stressful. I have the new iPhone and of course the earbuds won’t work with any of he traditional jacks, so you have to get a “special” piece and a rep named Jody in electronics went above and beyond what you would expect. He went and found the special piece that I needed. Dude, I really felt legitimately good about going to make this purchase. Great job Meijer for hiring guys like Jody D.

This superstore is clean and sanitary.The staff had the shelves stocked and very well organized. My experience was 5 Stars, then I go to check out?! On Saturday afternoon, the decision to open only 10 of 40 check out lanes?? OMG! Otherwise, I recommend you to shop @Meijer!

This is a pretty clean and continent Meijer. Great location and friendly staff! They have a decent produce section with ok prices and a great beer and wine selection. The typical Meijer layout does require you to walk the entire store to get all the necessities, so good luck not buying more than planned as you pass the sales down the center aisle.

Its clean and convenient, but it has some of the worst stocking management I have ever seen. After almost a two years of using them, I can confidently say that they are always out of 1/4th of the things I need. It has only gotten worse as time goes on. The grocery delivery has the exact same issue and the fee is the highest of their competitors.I dont enjoy grocery shopping, so requiring me to get what I need in more than one trip is beyond annoying. This is especially so when Im paying for the convenience of someone else to shop for me. At this point, Im just going to stop using them for delivery until whoever manages their inventory learns that you dont wait until you are out of something to get more.I have nothing else to complain about. The store is otherwise excellent. But, there is one job that every grocery store should do well, and that is provide groceries. If you are failing to do that then it doesnt matter how friendly or clean your store is.

You have to get the game day chicken wings in the deli!!! You wont regret it!

I agree with the reviewer below - I cant stand shopping here anymore because of poor stocking. Ive gone on different days and times of the week - it doesnt matter, likely you wont find several items you were looking for. Especially if that item has a sale or coupon. Its extremely frustrating and I will shop elsewhere where I can actually get what I need in one stop. Otherwise, I love Meijer and their pharmacy staff is nice.

Everybody there was great! From the employees that help to even the customers that sell me walking around with the deer in the headlight kind of luck because I was not at all familiar with that store! Everybody was wonderful!!! And they only had one of the items I was looking for that was out of stock. Of course it happened to be the one item I went there for because their website said they had them and I was a bit angry about that when I got there but I just sat in their aisle and ordered it from chewy.com and then what about purchasing my other stuff

Never been to a meijer i didnt like

This store is beyond ridiculous. Even way before Covid. They are out of everything no matter what day of the week you go and I’m talking simple items as well as other items. Management does not care as they always come up with ridiculous reasons as to why they are out of products. Management is an absolute joke. However, I have always enjoyed the cashiers as they are friendly and communicative.

We found everything we came for with ease.Very clean restrooms! My friends wanted to make sure I commented how clean the restrooms were!

Again and again we keep shopping over here...very good and reputed brand names and the prices are very attractive...discounts are for grabs.

This store is clean and modern. The staff is good and the stock is usually filled. Its a little more expensive here than other local stores, but you get what you pay for. I drive 4 times as far and will happily pay extra for the difference in experience compared to other chains. They are open late, and still safer than other more rowdy locations that close early. If you need some groceries, then stop procrastinating and just come here. You wont regret it.

WORST curbside pickup I have ever experienced! I have been doing pickup since March. Today, after letting the phone number know I was there, I waited at least 45 minutes in my pickup parking spot. My pickup time was 12-1 pm. I finally left the store at 2 pm. Two items that I really needed were unavailable. Only one employee working, and she didn’t apology for the delay. She said “system was down” and finally asked for my payment. Then another wait. I was not thrilled about giving her my credit card to take into store. Terrible customer service!!

This has never happen to me. I always shop Kroger, decided to go to Myers today, try to support everyone we can now days. I go in to purchase a large quantity of beer, wine, etc. $500, ( I usually have to break it up in a few purchases). I am told I have to leave the store, I kind of laughed and kept uploading my cart, he said you have to leave. I told him very politely that I do this at Kroger and we just break it up into multiple sales, no problem. He tells me of I hate to hear the competition K. How about if you buy what we can ring up, take it out and then come back in multiple times. I politely said No Thanks, I should have stuck with my Kroger sale. I think he may have been the manager , he was a very nice man, and just trying to do his job. I think maybe he just didnt know what to really do with this situation I caused.Here I come Kroger 😁I had given them one 🌟 on the review. I thought about it for a few minutes and decided to go 3 🌟s. The store was very clean, organized, lots of stock, nice store. But I am going to stay with Kroger.

I am normally a huge fan og the Carmel Meijer but I was disappointed to see that not all of the employees were wearing their masks over their mouth and nose.Last I checked the nose is still attached to your lungs and I am not sure why a person would childishly advertise to the world that they just dont care about the health of others. Much more what makes them so much better than the customers who are required to wear masks. It is disappointing that management would allow that to happen. I have faith that this will be corrected though because other than that it is an excellent store.

Great meijer that usually has what we need

We started using Meijers shopping service during the pandemic as an alternative to our regular grocery store and we never looked back. Excellent service, selection, and all around experience.

SHAME ON YOU MEIJER!!!Save yourself a LOT of hassle and go to Target or Walmart instead!!!Terrible experiences here in recent months. On my shopping trip tonight, I had to return a bag of stale blue corn chips that I bought on 10/3, and that had an expiration date of 9/15. Go figure.But that wasn’t even the worst part. As with the past few times that I’ve shopped between 8 PM and 10 PM, they’ve had NO actual cashiers, and forced ALL customers to use the self check lanes.Now I don’t mind using the self check lanes anymore than the next guy, but when I have a cart full of groceries, it always takes a lot longer. And the problem that I’ve experienced at the Carmel Meijer and the Kokomo Meijer is made much, much worse by the scanners and conveyers.The scanners are INCREDIBLY slow, and there’s a pause of 5 - 10 seconds before it will let you scan the next item. And about 30% of the time, the sensors on the conveyers don’t register properly, and either you have to keep pressing the “skip bagging” button multiple times for each item until it lets you continue, or you have to call an associate over to fix the problem.I complained multiple times to two different associates, and it got so bad that I finally called a manager over to have him watch. He agreed that it was a problem, and he said all of the scanners in the self scan area had the same problems.SERIOUSLY?!?!?!My response to the manager was “it is inexcusable that you don’t have a single register open with an actual cashier, and you force your customers to use inefficient, inaccurate scanners that don’t work half the time”.I have plenty of choices of where to shop, and I will give Meijer one more try.HOWEVER, the next time I go and I have a large quantity of items and there are no lanes open with actual cashiers, I will be asking for a cashier. If they refuse, I will be leaving my cart up front, and THEY can put the items back. If enough people do that, maybe they will get the picture that people are fed up with the self scan BS!!Self scan is fine for small quantities, but not a cart full of groceries!!! It took me 23 minutes to scan tonight. My time is worth something, and I won’t be doing that again!!!!

I go shopping here all the time. The pharmacy technicians are always helpful and kind. Also, any of the other workers are always willing to helping to point me in the right direction for what Im looking for.
