Alexandra and Sharon managed a miracle! My daughter-in-law who hates to shop, enjoyed herself AND got a great deal on a fab winter coat, pants for field work and a few other items. My son got a great fold away back pack which they enjoyed using the next day.Great bargains, help when you are in the fitting room and need another size, and fab gear with thoughtful details!!!!

My wife got an invitation through her industry and let me tell you, this place is the bomb. Im glad I had just gotten paid because I spent a grip of cash on my entire family, and feel I got all my back to work and back to school shopping done all in one store. Along with some exercise clothing and camping gear for my kids.Yes its mostly clothing, but mountain hardware does have some tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, etc. Columbias got luggage and lots of miscellaneous camping gear. Theres also some shoe company that I cant remember their name, but I didnt have socks on because if youve read any of my other reviews you know I wear Rainbow sandals everywhere.

Good place to shop. Not crowded. Decent discounts. Sufficient help on the floor. Hidden location.

Employee discount for multiple brands, my favorito, Prana. Not the discount thought i would get, but got what i wanted especially the colors

The staff is friendly and helpful. But the store has a very poor return policy. I lost the receipt of my purchase and I can return items now. In todays age of digital record keeping, its hard to imagine a store cannot retrieve the purchase/order information from their system. I know Im at fault for not safely storing the receipt. But I dont know of any other store that has such a silly and backward requirement of holding onto a paper receipt.The store is great other than that and they have good prices. But Im not going to shop here ever again.

If you are not an employee, you can still get in this store, you just need a military ID or an invitation. Shoe selection is small. Discounts arent as deep as hoped. I think generally things are about 20-30% discounted from retail? There are a few great deals in there though, I got my favorite trek fleece for $30 and prana field pants for $51.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to share that one of the employees there (i think her name was Skyler) was so so helpful when i came in and helped me find what I was looking for and was so attentive I just had to share my experience and appreciation

Clean and well organized store that offers a wide selection of casual clothing and accessories for outdoor activity. The staff is friendly and helpful!

Excellent deals. Great prices and they have a discount for first responders. If you dont find the item that you need you can search and theirthere are computers that are located at the beginning of the store and any Columbia product can then be shipped to the employee store for you to enjoy. They have a great return policy Ive been there several times. Fitting rooms are located on the left side of the building. Dont forget to check out the 50 percent off sale in the middle of the store and 20% discounted items at the front of the register.

We get invites from my husbands company about once a year. They have great outdoor clothing, shoes, etc. Prices are high but greatly discounted. Employees are always polite. Its always a pleasure to go to the Columbia Store!

Aug 2021 is Padres pride month for admission!

I was extremely excited that I got access to the store through work. Now Im extremely disappointed that there isnt a single piece of plus-sized clothing in the store. :( You can order through a kiosk, but it seems complicated and you have to buy something to do that for Prana. Then you have to pay for shipping, wait for the item, and of course you dont even know if it fits, so there will likely be the hassle of returns involved. At the very least, have the decency to have some fit items of each size so I can have a bit of an idea of what size to order. You are completely neglecting and marginalizing the fat population. We are people, too. We need well-fitting, comfortable, quality clothes just like thin people. And we should be able to try on those clothes and even leave a store with something we like or be able to buy something last minute for a trip without waiting and paying for the shipping of something that were not even sure fits. Having no option but to order online should happen occasionally, not every time I walk into a store. I may come back to try the kiosk because I really need some quality, affordable clothing. But today I left crying, feeling not only unwelcome but that something was wrong with me. Do you want your store to make people feel that way?

You need an invite or pass to shop. Staff is friendly and helpful. You get great pricing, especially when reduced further than employees discount. Large variety of items from Columbia, Prana, Mountain Hardware and Sorel. Clothing, shoes, packs/luggage, hats, and more for kids and adults. They always have new arrivals.

If you can get a pass to go to the store, they offer some of the better sporting goods sales available in San Diego county. Not open to the general public. So you need to know somebody to get access.

It was way out of the way to get too. The different hiking shoes we looked at had limited sizes to chose from. IE...not well stocked. I wouldnt recommend going there if your looking for hiking shoes.
