The friendly people know what theyre doing, and they understand customer service.

Geo is amazing, his knowledge on boots is phenomenal. He really listens to our needs and finds the right boot. My husband is super happy every time!And today we called in five minutes till closing and explained to them a situation we were having and they let us in and helped us solve our problem. Bailey was the one helping us tonight. Its great not to many people would stay after closing to help and they did. Great customer service every time. I will go nowhere else but here from now on!!!Thank You Rugged Trade!!!!

Rugged trade has the best selection in Carlsbad for one and I had issues with a pair of boots I purchased previously from them and they took full care of me with great customer service!

My ONLY complaint....is that....you spend 285 dollars on a jacket and they wont let you keep the hanger that came with it. They change it out at the register for a cheap one that you can hang a shirt on. I know....from working retail if the customer asks for the hanger....you give it to them.Anyway, the service and personell were awesome, even the young lady that told me, No. I always enjoy going in there.

Just left this place! I was helped by a pirate! She was very kind and knowledgeable of inventory and policy(employee discounts, etc.). Honestly, the brand name stuff was a little on the pricey side but the Rugged Trade brand is cheaper and seemingly equal in quality. I would definitely recommend this place for both work and casual attire, as they have a very good inventory. 5 stars.

Great selection of clothing, anything from FR to regular branded clothing. I actually like the place. I’d give it a 5 star rating if they’d stay open later than 8 P.M. during the holidays or begin to lock the doors at 7:40 P.M.I’ll try again another day. Please, don’t close lock the doors at 7:40I would’ve been in and out for a few shirts. It wouldn’t have taken long.Only concern.Thanks guys!

I went there today to buy new boots for work. And Danny was the one that helped me out. we talked for a while and he showed me how to take care of my boots and let me wear them around the store to make sure Im comfortable with him before I purchase them. Good place to buy boots and shoes and clothing.

Place has nice product but the workers there dont seem to communicate all that well. My husband had clothes on hold for him but when I went to go pick them up a few days later they sold his clothes anyway. We even had reassurance that the clothes on hold would be there for pick up. Doesnt seem like a very trustworthy company. I think well be going to a different FR retailer in town next time.

The staff is incredibly helpful, and know their products! Had an issue finding boots that I liked, and were covered via the company I was buying them for. They went out of their way to help me find both a pair I liked and were allowed with the company. I will definitely be going back.

This store sells clothing and gear catering to the oilfield but they dont cater to the oilfield. They close early. Last time I checked, NO ONE IN AN OIL BOOM GETS OFF OF WORK DURING BANKER HOURS. Open later and stay open later. Overhead stays the same and sales go up as your clientele is off of work later than the gosh darn library. They sell quality products. Id give 5 stars if I could get to them and spend my money there on the regular. Wonderful staff.

They have a little of everything, a wide selection on all apparel. FR gear, Ariat clothing, work boots and casual boots. Also have in house made Rugged Trade gear that looks great.

Great store

Bought these boots 2 weeks ago. They started developing a tear where the steal toe ends where it fold when you walk. Took them in today because they have a warranty but the lady told me they will not honor the warranty because she said they got caught on something. But that did not happen Ive been wearing them not herAnd its right where the boot foldsI dont know what planet she is from but us humans have to walkI posted a picture of the boots and the receipt in google photos so you guys can see Im not lying

Really disappointed nobody asked if i wanted any help as the store is completly reorganized. I really liked going there but in the las . Ouple of years it just seems to be getting worse. I felt like i was walking into a womans clothing store. They didnt even have any ariat shirts out. Not reaalky a work ckothing store any more its a fashion store. Im out and wont go back.
