Since moving to Carlsbad in 2019, I have had both my vehicles serviced at Forrest Tire. The entire team at Forrest does a professional job from start to finish, always informing you of what work needs to be done, how long it will take to complete, and the price for parts and labor. The prices are extremely competitive and the quality of work is first-rate. If you need new tires or other automotive work done in the Carlsbad area, I would highly recommend taking your car, truck, or SUV to Forrest Tire.

Employees are the strongest aspect of Forrest Tire. Friendly folks, willing to help. They sell the same brands as any other tire shop, but at higher prices. So product quality is average, prices are high, and the people are great.

Forrest Tire in Carlsbad, NM was the absolute best service I have ever experienced with anything car-related. I was traveling cross country in my car and a pair of reading glasses destroyed my tire... bizarre, I know. They not only installed my spare free of charge, but they went through so many hoops to get to the bottom of another puzzling issue. It turned out the spare I had was not safe and could have caused extreme damage to my car. They realigned all my tires, were able to fix my spare, and a fix a sensor issue. Forrest Tire truly treats their customers like they’re family. As someone who was traveling alone and was a stranger to Carlsbad, I could really appreciate this! They are unbelievable and all deserve a raise!

They got me in as soon as they could and I was comfortable while I waited. Just have an attitude that it’s going to take some time to get the job done and all was very nice!

We were on vacation when we had a tire issue. They were able to find the tire we needed and get it installed in less than an hour. Great job and great customer service. There were a couple of employees who stayed after they closed for the day to ensure the van was operational and our vacation stayed on track!

I was treated fairly and promptly by Forrest Tire Co. While traveling from NC to NM I blew a hydraulic hose on my Jeep. Repair involved parts from out of state. FT ordered damaged parts and replaced hoses as soon as they arrived. Great service and very helpful employees. Repair costs were very reasonable. Had my tires rotated. Didn’t recalibrate the tire sensors for new positions and didn’t adjust the tire pressures. Pretty quick though.

Showed up at 7am when they opened the doors. Got me right in and out. 3 new tires and on my way. Cant ask for more than that.

Tires done in a timely manner, you have to check and correct your tire pressure yourself. Good for work vehicles doubt I would bring my personal vehicles here.

Had a very good experience, took brakes for service, asked for front and back due to my car dealership stated I needed both, thank goodness I took my vehicle to Forrest Tires, I only need 1 set which saved me lots of money. Service is excellent.

Dropped my truck off for what I thought needed new brake pad, turned out to be less serious than what I thought.Caliper had come loose and just needed tightening.Appreciate the integrity and honesty from Forrest Tire company.In my estimation they could have installed new parts when they actually werent needed.Definitely recommend great service.

Went down to the tire shop to get some inner tubes for floating the river. The service there was amazing, had no wait and they made me feel like I was more than just another customer. Always have had good experiences going to there.

I have taken about a dozen tires to this shop for repair or replacement. They are always profesional and their service is fast. Their proces are on part with their competitors. They have a nice waiting area as well. This has become my go-to shop for all my tire needs.

I had to have a tire pressure sensor replaced on my 2019 Ram 3500 at there Carlsbad NM store. There service was fast but they could not even program it for me. I was told the Mopar dealer would have to. As I was traveling east I found a Discount tire in San Angalo TX and they did it for me free. Please dont sale something you cant service! This was total B.S, you have been honest right from the get go and just put a regular valve them in and I would have addressed the sensor later. 93.00 and you cant program the dam thing?

Have spent plenty at this pace knowing they overprice everything but I prefer to support local businesse . Lately wait time is way up for the simplest things. Last time I went in had picked up some used wheels and wanted to put some tires i had on them. They refused to do it because i didnt buy from the . Long story 3faint wait for discount and Big O to ope .

We had to take my husbands truck to Forest Tire he had bought brand new drums and brakes at OReillys. Well Forest Tire drove it inspected it and said the drums were defective. My husband is disabled so therefore we let Forest Tire Turner brand new drums it was better on us physically. And they were so on the money what was wrong with his truck and I want to thank Forest tire for being there for us and the price to fix it was not that bad either

Excellent service very professional

Forrest tire did a fantastic job on my truck I’m a decent shade tree mechanic. But had front end problems messed with it for three months but never get the kinks out so took it to them and now my thirty year old truck drives like a new one!

I had a negative experience before with the tires not being in stock, but I went back recently and Kirby (spelling?) was outstanding, great customer service, got me exactly the tires I asked for and got them installed quickly with zero hassle. If you go in, definitely ask for Kirby, he will take great care of you.

Gabriel put my spare on and loaded my tire in the back. My tire was repaired and we were able to make it to our appointment in Lubbock. Everyone was courteous and friendly.

Called in for a service repair for a flat tire. And they came in about maybe 30 mins after the call. The man was very helpful.. Took maybe less than an hour for them to fix my tire. Best experience ive had with Forrest Tire!

What can be said for maybe the last remaining family type or neighborly feeling business left in the area. Trusting the guys, from the manager to the guy with hands on job seems easy enough giving the amount of hard earned money spent and especially the amount of trust Im going to have to have for the life of the tire. You guys have never let me down...hows that for some brown nose sounding review? Ha...im gonna go with it still.peace.

Very decent priced. Only main issue is they are TERRIBLE at estimating time for the work. Always off by at least an hour minimum.

Disappointed. After leaving a detailed note of what to do to my truck, only half of the work was done. I brought truck in to have tires rotated and balanced then have alignment. The note I left specifically asked to have tire pressure adjusted to match the sensors. The pressure was not adjusted , so now I have a light and message on dash. And the tires were not balanced! Its not easy to schedule your vehicle to be put in shop or get it back there to have this work completed...

I bought a brand new tire @ $252. got home noticed it had a dot date 4614. Which is the 46th week of 2014. Its 2020. They sold me a 6 yr old tire... When I went back and questioned them about it they told me it was entry level tire.. After further complaining,about it being entry level or not it is still 6 years old And should not have been sold to anybody.. They did credit back and I had to pay $80 more for a tire with a 2020 date

Was in Carlsbad last Friday with a ruined tire while quail hunting. Forrest Tire saved our weekend by providing us with a used tire as a spare since they didnt have a like tire in stock to sell to us. These folks are the best!!! Cant thank you enough!!!

Called at 430 pm, sat on hold for 10 mins finally a gentleman answered the phone and I explained what I needed (help getting 2 lugs loose so I can put my spare on) was told they have a technician that lives out by me so they will have them stop by here on their way home. Its now 845 and still have the flat on my car. Will update when they get here or after I go down there tomorrow. UPDATE, so I called into them and spoke with the same gentleman from the night before and he informed me that it was going to be like an extra day wait and $85 for a service fee. Generally sounded like they couldnt be bothered with it. So i called my roadside assistance and had the problem fixed in less than a hour.

Appt at 8 am. Arrived on time and truck was immediately placed in bay. Went across the street and had breakfast at the local cafe. Alignment was completed just I finished last cup of coffee! Walked back across the street, invoice was ready, paid out and gone! I would say all went very well. Everyone courteous and price was reasonable. Will return.

Fast, friendly and fair. Had a whole set of tires put on and an alignment done. Was told to be there at 8:00 I showed up and my truck was taken back immediately and done in a timely manner highly recommend.

Im not from around here so I didnt know where to go for my tires. I called around and their prices were better compared to others. They got me in and out with my tires and alignment done. Alignment was a very good price as well. Not only that but now my truck is driving perfectly. Forrest Tire did an awesome job and I recommend this place for your next set of tires or alignment. Hoo busy place all day but they helped me with a third-party road hazard warranty claim and handled all the paperwork to get me reimbursed. Jeff made all the calls and faxed all the paperwork. Even though the tire wasnt in stock, they got it in the next day, and gave a fair price for the new tire. Much obliged!

They are quick and they have reasonable prices, and very nice place. I went to get my truck an alignment, I called around and everyone kept asking all these different questions about my ballpoints and the people at Forrest Tire never ask me and they did not have any trouble aligning my truck.

They take way too long to do anything. I understand it’s a booming oilfield town, but they lie about anything just to get your business and their prices are outrageous! Save a ton of money and order tires online!!!

Took my wifes car to the Carlsbad location to have a flat fixed and the technician damaged my wheel. Jeff Forrest took me outside to show me the damage and immediately offered to repair or replace the wheel. After a short discussion he opted to replace the wheel. Since we were in Carlsbad for work and travelling back to Midland, Jeff had the Midland store, Forresr Brothers, order and replace the wheel. Casey and the crew at the Midland location had the job done quickly and at no cost to us. Thank you Jeff for making it right and thank you Casey for knocking it out. Top notch customer service at both of these locations.

Very slow service. Workers standing around talking and playing with phones. Management here is non existent. I highly do not recommend coming here unless you wanna sit in there lounge for hours.Been here over 2 hours to get 2 tires.They pull you in, jack your car up, and there you sit.

Not cheap but certainly great work. I had front end work done here and the guys from the alignment shop who did the work were courteous, thorough and did a great job. The bill was steep but I rely on my vehicle for work so its worth it. Highly recommend.

We needed our tires replaced on our fifth wheel. They were able to change all four tires and the spare in an hour. The service was fast and friendly.

I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences when coming here, and it’s finally time that I left a review after my 3rd terrible experience. I’ve come here every year for the past 3 years and had the exact same thing done. Need two new tires and a rotation. The second time I came in at two o’clock in the afternoon. At 5pm they said the work was done and gave me my keys. I walked outside and had the same four tires on in the exact same spots. I marked them before hand to make sure they were rotated. They “apologized” and told me to come in the next day(a 2hour round trip drive) and they’d move me to the front of the line. Offered no discounts for wasting a days worth of my time. This is my last and finally time, as I sit here writing this message in the waiting room for hour number three while I just watched my truck roll into the bay. I will not be returning here.UPDATE: Once my truck was rolled into the bay they didn’t do anything right. I was supposed to have 2 new tires put on the front and the front ones moved to the back and rotated. When I received the keys I went to the truck and the two new ones were on the back and the two old ones were on the front. I made them stay late to fix it and get it right. The store closes at 5pm and I didn’t leave until 6:30pm. 4 hours later, I finally had two new tires. If you have a days worth of time I suggest you come to Forrest Tire. If you like sitting in a boiling hot waiting room for an hour or two while they fix a flat. Forrest Tire. If you like waiting for 4-6 hours while they put a couple new tires on. Forrest Tire. Cancel any plans after you visit Forrest Tire, because you will be there awhile.

I called on a Friday morning for an appointment for an alignment that afternoon. When I arrived I was directed to bring my truck to the alignment bay where I met the technician who would do the work. The work was done in the time estimated, about an hour and the service technician and the counter staff were friendly and efficient. The waiting room is nice as well. I was originally trying to make an appointment with GMC locally, but they told me they sub all their alignment work to Forrest Tire. Excellent recommendation as the truck now steers straight.With this being my first experience with Forrest Tire, I would highly recommend them for alignment service.

Great shop! Was driving through town (December 2016) and had a punctured tire. They plugged the hole and I havent had any issues since.I also asked the salesman if he could replace my existing spare tire with one that matched the 35 tires I put on my truck a while back. He found a used 35 with some life left on it and swapped it out for me.Helpful and knowledgeable staff with honest and fair pricing.

After waiting an hour and some change a guy came and looked at my vehicle and said it would have to wait on a bay.... another 30 minutes and seeing ppl that arrived after me going in bays for tire service I was pretty furious, it’s like I totally lost my place in line. 🤬 went around to the back and since the tire to be replaced could be rolled in, they took it and got it patched. And the guy mentioned that all tips are appreciated,,, kinda pouring salt in the wound

Took a little while to get a flat fixed (about 4 hours) but they were extremely busy (around 11 am). Always very courteous staff though! At least you know its been fixed correctly.

In, and out within an hour. They worked pretty fast considering how busy they were.

I was put on hold 3 different times, hung up on twice and honestly they didnt even really try to help me out at all. Would not recommend this place at this time!!
