The customer service and quality of work is some of the best I have ever experienced. My e-tune for my 2020 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T is absolutely outstanding! Derek was very professional to work with during my E-Tune process. Great communication all around. I had been running the Hondata base map for a while but decided to get a custom tune after installing some engine modifications. Got my 2017 civic is tuned presently by Derek and the car feels amazing. The power is incredible. The first revision felt better then my factory and tsp stage 1 tune. The car is smooth and powerfull. This is the first time Ive ever done powerplant work to this extent on any vehicle and I needed a tune. Derek was referred on several occasions so I did some research. We ended up doing the eTune option as I couldnt find a local shop with an AWD dyno and experience with CVT transmissions. I wish I could have made the trip to PA but that option was just not in the cards. Derek is the real deal! Every work day, there was a set of parameters to load and a set of datalogs to send. We finalized the tune after the 8th capture and my V runs so beautifully now! Thank you Derek! IMW is very highly recommended.Sidenote: I encountered a major loss of power after the 8th capture. Derek was there to provide guidance even though the issue was not caused by anything he did. Even after he had finished my tune, he was there to provide assistance which was a huge relief. With Dereks and other friends help, I found the pesky boost leak and everything is copacetic.

Derek from Innovative MotorWorks is an amazing tuner. Purchased his E-Tuning services to get my 2002 Civic SI EP3 with a K20/K24, tuned. Derek was very professional, prompt and great to work with throughout the entire tuning process. Even when the motor dropped a valve and required a full rebuild that delayed completing the E-tune by two months, Derek was still understanding and patient. My car is a different vehicle now; night and day difference. Idles and runs smooth yet pulls like a freight train when accelerating. Highly recommended! Derek put a custom e-tune on my 2019 Civic Si to get the most power and reliability as possible out of the car, after I put full bolt-ons and a flex fuel kit on the car. Dereks expertise on this platform is second-to-none. He did an incredible job. The car performs so much better than before, and all the Knock Control, Fuel Trims, Inlet Air Temps, and Engine Coolant Temps are running at safer levels than ever before. I brought my 2018 SI to Derek to put in the Type-R retro clutch. And to re-install my Down pipe(I had to remove it for warranty work). Derek did a great job installing the clutch the car drives like a champ now. No more slipping, it just holds now. Derek is one of the most informative people I have worked with. He gave me all the details of the installs and what I need to do as follow ups (alignment, adjustment etc...). They were so friendly and the work was done on time. I will definitely bring my car back. I highly recommend them. You will not find a better shop to work on your Honda.

Derek Robinson is a God. Hes renowned in the 10th gen Civic/Accord community and with Hondas and Acuras as a whole. This guy is the baseline for comparison in tuning and reference for his opinion on a daily basis. Youll be hard pressed to find someone as good as him at what he does. I was referred to Derek through mutual Acura Tsx owners. I ran a hondata reflash for about 1 year and then decided to go FBO. After installed flashpro the basemap was ok. Derek starting etuning and after about the 4th revision it was an absolute blast to drive. He was able to tune the jerkiness in 1st gear. The car is so smooth and linear pulling very strong all the way to redline. Anyways to summarize, car is a beast to drive and Derek definitely knows every honda/acura platform. Dont hesitate to get your car tuned and extract all available power safely. Repeat custom for life! Thank you

Derek’s skill, customer service, and reputation are virtually legendary. Every time you see him, it’s like catching up with an old friend. He seems grateful for every person that walks through the door. If it was socially acceptable to hug him, I would.Unfortunately the story is not the same with the woman who occasionally greets you at the front counter. I have been to this shop multiple times over the past few months and every time I witness her interact with a customer in person, on the phone, or with me, she seems just generally annoyed. Every time is the same story, she just gives that “annoyed to have to deal with humans look” your way.With that said, I’m still giving 5 stars. I won’t lump her attitude in with IMWs spectacular reputation.

I hired IMW to do a custom eTune on my 18’ Accord with a turbo swap. The service was fast and professional. I would email data logs each day and IMW would produce a more refined map within 24 hours. Icy Serg here, reporting back about my experience with DRob and IMW recently.First of all I own a 2017 Civic Si running FBO and Ktuner and my first time getting an E-TuneIf you have own a Honda or Acura, This is definitely the Man/Group to talk to if youre looking to extract power safely.Derek has a lot of experience in tuning and mechanics and especially with these new 10th gen civics. I never heard of anyone else that raves as much as they do about Drob.Revisions were quick, just depends on how fast YOU reply to him. I would send my logs back and the next morning, Bam, an email containing your next Revision. I enjoyed getting my revisions back really fast.Overall hes Quick, Safe and definitely puts attention to every bit of detail to your vehicle. If something is wrong with Ignition or Boost pressure, he points it out instantly and recommends any problem to be fixed before any more revisions get sent out. 10/10Also hes a very informative guy so dont be afraid to ask any questions. Calm dude and easy to talk to.

Innovative MotorWorks is the best place for for Honda tuning period. I drive about 2 hours to see Derek when I add something to my car and it needs returned and also modification. He welded a wide band a/f bung as well as install the new BOV for me about 2 days ago. Zero issues what so ever. If you have a Honda and want to go fast, see these guys they know their stuff!!!
