Went to this store to buy a $9 can of rustoleum..thats $4 at walmart...at least if your going to charge 3 times what somethings worth you could at least have a bathroom. Wake up the worlds getting back to normal join the movement. Not to worry next door was autozone with a bathroom and the same $9 can of paint. Thx Autozone

No thanks this is a free country I dont care what the store policy is. Go next door to Autozone where they dont make the workers or customers wear mask. Keep your freedoms above all else besides God.CDC guidelines are not laws. There are no laws that have been signed into effect requiring one to wear a mask. I dont care if people wear mask, that is their choice. No one should be forced to wear one to go into any store.

Waited in line forever to checkout. Seems like they only ever have 1 guy running the register and i saw at least 4 employees there. But just 1 running the register. Got my items in about 3 mins, then spent 20 mins waiting to pay.

Requiring proof of vaccination... I can’t even begin to quantify the immorally invasive nature of asking that. I can only assume a solitary, paranoid managerial employee implemented this policy. Not a single store I’ve visited recently has stooped that low.

I feel like I have been robbed!Sold me an AC hose and cans of refrigerant, they refused to refund me after three trips there and back, and an exchange of the ac hose. The defective design of the auto-craft tool and weak construction of the cans destroyed the interface on the cans making them unusable. Now I am out $40 and have to go somewhere to pay for disposal of the new refrigerant if I corporate to give me a refund. Family will not be buying there again. They will not refund me for the tool or the cans.

Drove 30 mins to pick up a part to fix my truck only to find out that the store closes at 5. I had already paid for the part online....guess Ill waste another hour of my time to get it in the morning.

I think about this place every time I lay a huge patch down. Something goes wrong and I know they have just the thing. Great prices too!

They were too busy to get the wipers for me. Then refused to install them. Based on their sign, it says they install wipers for free. Do you or don’t you?

Wouldnt put a new battery on for me even though I got jumped to go there. Scared of co-vid while the rest of us have to work. Went to Autozone no problem!! They are not afraid to work. Lost my business. The bad battery came from Advance Auto didnt even last 3 year for a $160 . Customer service like this will bankrupt you.

I needed an alternator tested, I called ahead and then stopped by to have Charlie put it on the bench tester. He was very courteous and eager to offer any assistance.All together, I left with the parts I needed and the customer service was delightful.

This store is super quick on pickup orders. There is an Autozone next door in case you need something from both stores.

Bought a switch for the window in my truck. Was fixing it in the parking lot. Sold me a broken part and then since it was two mins after closing they refused to unlock the door and make it right. Instead they stood there arms crossed with their bags and refused to open the door or say anything until we got back in our truck. CHECK ALL PARTS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE! PROBABLY A RETURNED SWITCH THAT NO ONE EVEN CHECKED!

Helpful crew that acknowledge your arrival. They have a free oil recycling bin in the store for your used motor oil (residential quantities). Speed Perks is an okay reward programs that can build up some savings and gift cards. They will install can batteries and windshield wipers free of charge... Good if you need help or tools or just arent dressed to lean into dirt and grease.

Went in for battery test & replacement. The associate helping me was courteous & knowledgeable. The staff inside was quick to offer help which I declined as I was already attended to. This location got pretty busy so I did a bit of the replacement work myself. And their batteries are priced a bit higher than, say, Walmart. A comparable battery to the one I purchased would have been about $40 less. Needed a remote battery the staff found the replacement quick and accurately. They recommended and sold a code reader that performs as advertised. I saved with a military discount. I give them by return business.

I usually have a good experiance as far as advanced is concerned, its my go to for pretty much everything. My last trip was to get a battery for my dads car and the sales associate wasnt very helpful at all. First we waited about 5 minutes before being acknowledged by the staff, and then they answered the phones before talking to in store customers. He kept repeating that they didnt have a battery in stock and wouldnt check to see if other stores had it. We ended up settling for a lesser battery than what we wanted. I was happier with the old staff thats usually present when I shopped before.

Ran in this evening to get a battery for my grandmothers car. I did not know any of the specifics about her car and quite honestly, she didnt either. The guy working was extremely helpful and patient. He helped me figure out exactly what she needed and had me on the road in minutes.

Brian was extremely helpful and helped us out a lot! He found exactly what we needed and even took his own time to properly install everything and made sure everything was perfect! 10/10 would drop back if I need anything on the go while in Carlisle area!

Have dealt with this store for years but after the last episode with sorer here in Carlisle I will go next door to AutoZone. I bought an alternator 21/2 years ago with a limited lifetime warranty It went bad less than 6 months and returned it, this one managed to last almost two years still under warranty. I went to store to ask what the procedure was for getting it replaced since mechanic said he wouldnt take off the old one until he had one to install because it would tie up his lift which I understand, So as II was told by clerk that I had to pay for a new one and the core charge and would be fully reimbursed when I brought the junk one back, Meantime Im paying $240 to have it replaced again, when I got back same rude clerk refused to return my money. So if you buy any thing electrical you may want to save yourself a lot of grief and money and go to where they honor their warranty.

Purchased parts there for years until they gave me a hard time for bringing in 5 gallons of used oil. Im sorry, I have three cars and Im not going to bring the old oil in after every change.

Dont agree with other reviews. When they put out ad they dont say online only. U go to the store and they refuse the sale price. We show them the ad and there is more place it says online only sale. This happened twice. Once for a socket set and again for cleaner. Dont trust there ad. I was in retail. U have to honor the ad.

I find the staff nicer than their competition next door and have been using them for years in another area.

My family and I have been using this place for a long time now and I have never had a problem. The staff has always been very helpful and kind. Maybe a year ago we bought break pads and rotors from here to replace my sister-in-laws breaks. Never realizing until this years inspection they did not give us the correct breaks. We went back in and explained to them and the guy told us the manager was not in and that he left at 5. So we asked him to look up the correct breaks we are supposed to get. Once again they told us the same exact breaks we bought previously. We called our technician that does our breaks and he explained that they are not correct and they will not pass inspection. This is the second time we have had them look at the breaks. Being quite confused we were trying to find answers. So the other guy working named Andrew came over and asked what the problem was; saying they’re both managers and they can’t help us with anything, with an extremely rude attitude. When they previously said the manager wasn’t there. We called my brother in law and he explain last year they gave him the wrong breaks in the correct box. So we bought the “correct” pair to try and compare them with the old ones to see if indeed they did put the wrong breaks in the box. My husband works for Faulkner and asked to use his discount. Instead of explaining to us that we needed to go to Mechanicsburg advanced auto instead of Carlisle he got even more snappy and tried to type in a company that my husband doesn’t even work for so at the end of the day my husband would get in trouble for stealing a discount from a company he doesn’t work for. After a few minutes of argumentative statements and raised voices from Andrew acting like he wanted to fight my husband, we walked out. He continued to stare us down, out the window as we drove off. I will never use this store again. If you want lied to, stolen from and taken advantage of shop at this store.We now just went to a different store and they have two different sizes for our car which no one seemed to be able to realize in the Carlisle advanced auto. So now that it has been past 45 days, we are screwed out of our money because they neglected to do their job.Just tried to call corporate and no one would answer the phone. I called 3 times and pressed star for customer and the call went no where.

Ordered parts Friday. They said theyd be there Saturday at 9 am. Sunday at 1 PM noone could find them or knew about them

Always have the right parts at below wholesale prices. Great service, knowledgeable employees, if they dont have your part theyll order it and its usually there two days later.

Went in to return something, and the receipt would not scan. They entered the code for it, it would still not ring up. They told me they couldnt even give me store credit even though it was clear the receipt was from this store, with a completely unused,unopened product. They did nothing to help me and were unfriendly the whole time about it. Meh. Probably wont be back.

Where do I start...i spent over $300 on wheel bearing and tools for my envoy. Halfway through the job I ordered a cv axle nut. It was not in stock so I waited a day for it to arrive. When it arrives I picked it up and went home to install. Threads did not match didnt even come close to visually matching the one i pulled off. I took it back guy tells me no its the right part and that I needed a new cv axle bc I must have messed up my threads. Even though I used a large rubber malet. He also told me he couldnt refund my money on the part bc it was used and he couldnt resell it. This morning I picked up the right part from gm dealership. Went on easy and job is done. Returned my loner socket set and guy working the day shift refunds my money for the OBVIOUS wrong part. Never coming back to this shop again. What a freaking headache! Funny thing even if I did buy a new cv axle for the envoy IT STILL WOULDNT FIT it is the WRONG PART!
