This spot often offers nice items used in home repairs at a discounted price. They seem to be overly concerned with the way one wears their face mask as if covid is a death set in stone for those who enter. There is nearly always at least one sweet deal here. Now if the staff could match the consistency we could really build this business up. Acquiring new donations and members is vital to bringing in new customers who will by word of mouth and grateful sales will have them coming back for more. .

Every other home improvement store we went to in the area was very little help. Waiting for someone that never showed or never finding an employee period. Here, within seconds of us walking in the door we had help and within 15 minutes we picked out exactly what we wanted and had it paid for. The staff was knowledgeable and very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great experience!

I plan to get my vanity top there. Great deals on marble tops and butcher block countertops too. Check their backsplash tile before you go to the big box stores. Mine was $61 for 12 panels of 12x12. Similar item at the big box stores was $4-$12 a single 12x12 sheet. Haha NO!

This place is for the working people. That want to remodel some or all their homes. You will save at least. Half or more on everything you need.

They were very helpful. I got a beautiful bathroom for a very low price. This included tile molding, vanity, flooring and lighting. Also a heat lamp. I keep returning for more bargains.

You get what you pay for. Went there together some cabinets and lattice and both were very dirty. Lady who works there told us if we pressure wash the vinyl it will come right off. Why would I buy a product brand new that I have to bring home and wash dirt from their warehouse? Makes no sense! Also teach your employees how to talk to customers!

They arent as inexpensive as Lowes cheap stuff, but they are the best value I could find ANYWHERE.

Stopped by the HIW store in Carbondale IL. today 8/29/2017 to look at purchasing some kitchen cabinets. My wife and I brought our dachshund with us so she wouldnt have to stay in a hot car. The man working promptly informed us we would have to take the dog out of the store. When I asked why he just stated liability - no apology at all! I told him that Lowes. Home Depot and Menards have all allowed our dog in their stores! He just gave me a stupid look and turned away! I then told him I would go and spend my money in one of those stores! I will never spend another dime in the Carbondale HIW store !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freezing cold inside. Looks like they get all the cheap stuff the other home improvement places dont want. Prices are higher than big box stores and less quality.
