Cant go in and browse the store. So unless you know exactly what you want I recommend going somewhere else. Very disappointed me and my son could look at the gaming PC selection for his birthday. Went to Sams Club and bought a membership and purchased one there.

Went in for a printer. Hardly any in stock and cartridges out almost totally. Barely got anyone to help and he didnt seem to care. So I went to Staples. Had a very knowledgeable person that steered me in the right direction on what I was looking for. Thank you JimWeve been VERY good customers of best buy. Time to look elsewhere.

I was shopping for a TV. The TV area is a mess and unimpressive. The only way to know what prices are for most TVs is to have your phone pointed at the Best Buy website while you browse. But there was a very bright spot in Courtney, the friendly sales associate that spoke with me for 20 minutes, helped me make my decision, looked up features, etc. Super friendly girl! She checked me out at the TV area and we carried the TV to the door. I was told they they were almost out of TVs due to a Covid rush and problems with logistics and production. But theyve been bombed with very high incoming TVs and have no place to out them -thus the mess. So, Courtney turns this 2 star review into a 4 star, and got the sale!

Went to Best buy to buy a new prepaid cell phone. the tag clearly States $99 I told you the young man what I was doing just replacing the phone. We looked at several different cell phones comparing them and finally chose that one, partly because it was $99. when I got to the cash register to pay, the price was $262 I asked the young man why so much I said the price tag listed $99. He then told me the extra charges were because I didnt sign up for their service.!!!! Seriously?

Ordered online, sent me an email once order was ready for pick up. Gave a week to pick up if youre unable to do it that day. Picking up was simple. Notify them your on your way, pull in a stall give them the number and within 10mins they bring your items to your car.

The day I was there, it wasnt crowded. Everyone was friendly & helpful. I always like the TVs, I love looking at them. I havent kept on prices on large TVs. I noticed 30inches and smaller, had good prices on them. My kitchen tv is still working darn. LOL. My sell phone is acting, Up.

Awful place, no wonder theyre closing - they deserve it. The staff have always been completely useless, with zero knowledge on their products let alone the actual shelf location of said products.They only allow shopping by appointment only. Items that I have preordered are being held hostage on the day of release, as no one answers the phone or comes to the door when there are clearly people there.They are thieves. It is the end of the day and Im still not allowed to have items I paid for.Farewell, Best Buy. No one will miss your sketchy phone contract sales pitches, zero sales, useless gold plated monster HDMI cables, and unhelpful attitude.

It was terrible! They came that was helping us couldnt stop texting on this phone and he could not focus on helping us at all. He did not have a clue about the tablets we were looking at. We were so disappointed that we just left.

The workers were not helpful. We asked where to find something and they shrugged us off. We waited for help in the laptop department for at least ten minutes and the 2 employees were too busy talking and laughing with each other. It wasnt even clear where to check out. and I was not offered a bag. I huge disappointment compared to what they used to be.

I am writing under an alias. We, my wife and I, have just experienced (at Best Buy, Carbondale, Il), the WORST possible customer service. We purchased a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that has not worked since the day we bought it and we have tried, in vain, to get the situation addressed - originally calling the store just after the purchase date. We have been given the run around for 9 months, ever since - and including - the original call. Finally we had had enough and my wife and I tried to rectify the situation by phone. That was a disaster. One employee actually had the audacity to ignore me - even put the phone down - every time I tried to explain our difficulty. When I directly asked her a question I had to wait about 15 seconds for a reply that indicated that she had no understanding of anything that I had said. Another employee incessantly, and incredibly rudely, spoke OVER me, YELLING the same irrelevant mantra (this is our policy) every time I tried to explain why the stores policy did not relate to our scenario. I felt like I was the victim of old-fashioned school-boy bullying, and this from a team of professionals. We were forced to speak to the corporate office to have our story heard and to get an appropriate response. Hopefully the Best Buy corporate office will address what is going on at Carbondale.

Made an appointment online to get the battery replaced in my iPhone. When I got there I was informed the tech was out of town so there was no one to work on my phone. I am extremely frustrated! If you are told to schedule appointments online they should call you if they are unable to fulfill the appointment. I live 2 hours away from this location.

Went in looking for a Wifi booster, stopped and ask associate. He justed pointed and said by the Routers. After a few minutes of me looking for it a young lady setting up a bunch of TVs asked if I needed help. Told her what I needed, she didnt know but went to get someone. She said theyd be right here. After about 20mins and probably fumes coming of my head the assistant store manager finally helped me. Terrible service!!!! But product is what I needed.

Walked in and I didn’t know I needed a mask. No one said anything I was waiting for help by the printers and the associate stopped with the customer to rudely tell me to put a mask on. So I did and apologize I didn’t know. When he was done he approached me again and since my mask did not cover my nose he rudely told me to cover my nose. He apparently was the mask police and made himself feel good. Well I went and took my business to staples and they earned my $2000 in printers I bought 💪💥 will not return to that Best Buy 😂

I purposely ordered online and opted for the curbside pickup to avoid entering the store. Followed the directions to the letter, waited 15 minutes and no one came. Finally had to enter the store and do all the transactions. While inside, 3 people entered the store not wearing masks. This is what I wanted to avoid. I was told by the staff member that they were understaffed. Why bother with this system if it does not work.

It is next to impossible to contact anyone at this store via telephone! Customer service is non-existent as you can’t reach a live person. When I did finally reach a live person after being on hold for 15-20 minutes, my call was disconnected. Extremely frustrating! The management at this store needs to figure this out and address it! (I was told the Geek Squad never answers their phone which is why theirs just rings.)

Its sad Im not a tech savvy person however I went in to buy a $700 - $900 tablet. I had decided on either a Samsung or an IPad. I had a question about the Samsung Pen. The 2 employees working the technology section had no idea at all. My question was not rocket science. How do you charge the SPen? I told them I had Googled and YouTubed and still had not found a definite answer. I left without a tablet. They didnt even know that it was sold with an SPen, as in NOT SOLD separately. I knew more the Samsung and Apple tablets than they did. They said Google it or Youtube it. Hummmmm.. Hello???? You must not have heard me when I was telling you other things about what your selling that you didnt know. UGGG.... Nevermind.... Said thats a great idea and walked out!

I went to get a cord I needed for my Roku. There wasnt any out and this young salesman made sure I left with my cord. He did everything he could do to make sure he found what I needed. Needless to say he found exactly what I needed at a decent price and I went home and relaxed and watched my Roku. I wish I could remember his name. Grrrrr!! Great salesman tho. Made my time there better.

We went in on a Monday evening and the place had only a few customers other than us. We went to purchase a new TV and already knew which model we were going to purchase. The item was in stock and easy to locate among the huge section of TVs. The sales rep was helpful and friendly. We browsed sound bars and miscellaneous items near the TVs and I noticed the displays were nice, labeled, and functional. While browsing, I had a couple other sales reps ask to help me (friendly, not bothersome). Overall, good experience.

Curbside pickup contactless did not work out that way. Nobody noticed that we had checked in to get our item. Waited over a half hour then saw employees with an empty cart and saw they were getting ready to close and picking up the curbside parking markets. Told them we had been waiting a long time. They said they were understaffed and no had noticed our checkin. They slowly finished picking up the markers and then talked with a couple people in the parking lot and then went in and were back in another little while with our chest freezer. They were not wearing their masks and they came up to the drivers side window which we closed quickly.

Best Buy was doing only curbside pick up in the rain today and I just came for a new movie but an awesome employee in a rain poncho waved us up and went in and grabbed the movie for us, rang it up, and then brought it all back out in the rain. Super nice guy, made my day better.

Best Buy Boy was right there that Thursday noon when we went to procure a HDTV antenna. Once he determined that we were there to buy he did all he could to answer our questions and enter the order under his log in. My wife had to have it when the satellite TV is goes out in a storm.

Don’t expect any sort of customer service shopping here. One employee “working” in the TVs who claimed he had several other groups needing help. I guess if you call circling the aisles and pretending to straighten merchandise while people are waiting good service then this is the place to go. Plenty of other employees standing around doing nothing. I was there to exchange a TV but just returned it instead and will buy elsewhere. Guess they don’t care about losing $700.

In store service is great. Not a lot of selections due to area and their open box selection are very low spending what you are looking at. On the phone though expect at 29 minute hold even though nobody is at the store. Store associates hesitate to answer and I’ve looked at it while calling and sitting at the store to see if anyone would answer

After going to Staples looking for a hard drive for our security system and being shown a pony memory card we went too Best Buy. We waited a few minutes on a young man to finish with the customers he was assisting. We took himn what we needed and he went straight to the hard drives. He discussed what the best hard drive would be for our needs. We were done in under 30 minutes and we had EXACTLY what we needed!
