We ate both breakfast and dinner here. Salad buffet is great but their breakfast buffet and drink just ok. The staff was always nice and attentive. It is right in the beach so it has a great view.

Have to say rhis is a very next facility staff is friendly and courteous and competent. There were no problems and i would go back there again. I went on a holiday weekend with a skeleton crew working. Highways and out in less than 20 minutes and if it worked out just great. Everyone can see from the pictures, plenty of parking that is in a reasonable distance from the facility. Lots of plenty of handicap parking area code

Great store great customer service

This particular location has a run down or old feel to it. For being in such a lively area of town with fresh contruction all around its time for an update. Uscan attendant seemed a little off.

They have a wide range of flowers, and fresh fruits and vegetables available all time. They do even have a wide variety of meat but I recommend to go during the day time or when the meat counter is open to get fresh meat or else you end up with the frozen meat. If you are a club member you will have so many offers and sales going on through out the year. They have red box available inside the store and they have the glacier water available right outside the entrance.

After having been a customer of this store for many years, on sunday this week I was waiting in the checkout line, checking things on my phone as I and most other people always do when the checkout person accused me of trying to film her. I politely explained that I was in fact just checking my phone but she said she didnt like the way I was holding it at her. I was completely and utterly baffled by this, I think I suggested she had rather severe paranoia, then she refused to serve me. It transpired that this person was (allegedly) the store manager.I have filed a complaint with Safeway head office regarding this.I will never shop at this store again.

I normally visit this location to get my goodies for my week.They serve sushi and hot food, I normally get their chineese food combo.Employees are very polite!

I love the fresh beef,chicken,pork chops,ribs and seafood at the meat department and their deli has fresh delicious fried and roast chicken ! Their fresh fruits and vegetables are great too !

All the goodies are okay and its affordable but the only problem was some customers are so Races and they really heat and they really dont like Asian people..

Went grocery shopping there. The place is very clean. The employees are very helpful.

This place is super close to where I live but it just doesnt hit the same way as the Safeway on capitol.

No eggs, milk or flour. People are nice and polite to each other though.

It is a better well stocked SAFEWAY. I enjoyed the store. Extra shelving in the aisles. Upscale is the best way to differ from a regular SAFEWAY. I wish I had that clean & stocked store in my neighborhood.

This Safeway is well stocked on most things. They at this time are low on toilet paper & paper towels, but I was able to pick up a pack of the towels. Theyre very helpful. I need something at butcher, but they are closed today. A employee re-stalking items let me know they are closed, but then got me things I needed right away. Offered replacements for things they couldnt get out of the case. That was very helpful because I didnt have a backup plan. So thank you Safeway 😊 for all your help today.

The staff was not helpful the clerk was I GUESS WAS HAVINGABAD DAY. I bagged most my groceries. The other customers not happy about that took me a little bit. Needed to use the restroom and nobody in the store knew the code so very uncomfortable. But then I heard on the intercom that they were getting the code because the customer need to use the restroom but when I asked the 3-4 people I asked did nothing to help me.

What an opposite customer service experience from Milpitas & other Safeway locations.I had items in hand while walking past freezers ... hence triggered the need for a bathroom stop.Big sign pointing to the testrooms.BUT YOU NEED A CODE to enter!Nearest employee [a slight walk at that] said that I need go to front of store ... apparently to present my case I need the code?Therefore I left my stuff & just decided enough!Besides Safeway prices are by far not best.

I am so thrilled that Safeway has my favorite ice cream and it just so happened to be in stock today when I arrived. I had some problems at the self check but the ladies were super helpful and friendly.

Good afternoon I just want to start off by saying I dive for amazon and this Safeway is the closest place with a Starbucks so I come here often and I’m usually greeted with great customer service except when the heavy set woman is working. I proceed to order some coffee and noticed the person that would be making my coffee was Coughing into her hand so I asked if she minded putting on gloves she tells me she doesn’t have to put gloves on with an attitude as if we are not in a pandemic... so I refuse the coffee and continue delivering my packages.on the way out I see the store supervisor and proceeded to tell her what happened she was very dismissive and actually kept backing up from me even though I was standing in one place not walking towards her at all as if I had Covid meanwhile Her barista is Coughing into her hand... bad experience in general

This is the 3rd time I have come in to get a deli sandwich and have gotten an attitude from the lady that makes the sandwiches. If you apply for a job and dont like it then dont go and give off negativity because people are standing on line. Very unprofessional and this Safeway will lose my business and many colleagues that have asked me if the deli is worth it, I will tell them to not waste their time. I thought that maybe this time would be different but there has been no change. If you read this comment I am saving you a trip, I would rather find a subway then to get treated the way I did there.

I noticed that the kind of bathroom cleaner was not there. That whole section had a lot missingI remember that store as one where people came to ask you for money when I came to my car. I prefer the old Safeway on Pollard.

This Safeway is pretty bad. Stock levels are poor and inconsistent, and not just because of covid its always been bad. Now they dont even have bags at the checkout and of course were still not allowed to bring our own bags, so good luck carrying your groceries. I go to this Safeway when I need just a few things and cross my fingers that theyll have at least part of what Im looking for. Go to the one on Hamilton west of San Tomas, its way better.

Safeways are great in general. Once you know the aisles in one, you can pretty easily navigate any store with slight variations.

I went in to use the restroom which is in the back kind of off the beaten Trail. And then I checked out their Deli counter and got some Chinese food which was really good. At least as good as Panda Express when theyre on. I paid for my food and then went down the street to John D Morgan Park to eat it.

I visited the new store on Winchester and payne. The front line self checkout person luis is unprofessional and got in an altercation regarding the new registers and be littled me because an item did not go through. I asked for his manager and refused to give me info. I will call the corporate office. It was the worse customer service I have seen.

Im sick of lack of innovation to solve the Cov19 problem. Standing in line, and checking out my own food is a pain! Assuming all my labor is ching-a-linging Safeways walk to the bank. Best products and prices and friendly employees fast short lines

For my wedding I placed an order for a smallCake and cupcakes (144). The ordering process was easy and it was so affordable! Nothing beats $100 versus the $1,000 I wouldve spent elsewhere.Luckily, I asked to pick it all up the day before the wedding and drop it off at the venue. However, I arrived and bakery staff had already left. They made a mistake and only made 1 set of cupcakes instead of six. I spoke to the manager and begged for staff to make them the next morning.They did and I was able to have someone pick them up. They made the colors of frosting exactly how I wanted it. If youre looking for regular chocolate or vanilla cupcakes, I think it is worth it! $22.99 for 24 cupcakes!

They seem to be following current Covid-19 protocols, masks required. The inventory is unpredictable and spotty, but mostly okay.

Excellent store striving to be the best in our community. I spoke to the CEO of the company (thats the corporate CEO) last week and asked him what the companys vision was for how it would better serve its customers. He assured me that Albertsons-Safeway is currently analyzing every aspect of how it serves customer needs and will continue to take customer input from people like me to better serve us all.

Well maintained and easy to locate items. 3 employees were at the service counter, but only 1 (very friendly) guy was actually helping customers. Another customer came up while I was waiting, asking where to find bread at, but 1 of the non-helpful employees couldnt answer him. I had to show him where it was located! After about 8 minutes, i finally got helped.

This is my neighborhood supermarket. Great prices and friendly staff. I just dont like the growing homeless population around that area.

Safeway is my store and this is MY Safeway.They have a superior meat department in my opinion, ACTUAL butchers!I love the mark down meat section, good for Safeway and NOT wasteful! This is the only Safeway I buy meat from. Since meat is so expensive, when I do buy meat I start here and everything else is comparable or better in price. Of course Pam and the entire meat dept staff are great!All the other staff are exceptional, always helpful and professional. (the store the bathrooms do need work, however.)The new store on Hamilton is ... new, and the produce section is bigger, . but thats about all its going for it. I dont care for the meat dept at all and overall its seems more expensive to me.Thx
