Great Indian grocery delivery service! From the whole order, Ive received only 1 expired item - a bag of raisins. Everything else looks really good, and tbh Im more than happy to toss out that bag of raisins, for the fresh bags of fragrant curry leaves, and green chillies now sitting in my fridge!!Will definitely get groceries delivered again, and I fully recommend to folks not keen on heading out to the store during this pandemic. Also, a quick note to the owner to be mindful of expired foods.

Very bad experience.DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM. They will send rotten/expired items and charge almost double the normal price. When you will reach out to them to sort out the issues with order they will block your number. I sent them email and SMS message about the rotten rice in our order but no response. I talked to a guy named Pawan who blocked 2 of my numbers when i pointed out problem with my grocery order. Adding photos of rotten Basmati rice i received from them.

The place serves big portions and for reasonable rates. welcoming staff. Kudos.

Dont place order without confirmation email. They dont you hakf of item and they send you items that you didnt order it and try to charge you...

Poor availability of ingredients and veggies.The restaurant section looks like it has some interesting chaat and snack items. However, I did not have the time to try anything out, plus the terrible grocery options had put me off. If it wasn’t for that, I would probably have made time to pick something up.

Good and only option for basic Indian spices and frozen food in area. The prices are consistently higher by 1$ than any other Indian store. Do look for expiry date of bottled stuff at the time of purchase. The staff is friendly.

I do not like this place. Not much selection and overpriced Indian grocery price but i can imagine the price is high since they are located in central square. the dosa factory good is pathetic and quality is super low. Must improve it.

This subcontinent grocery store has been a local fixture for some time now and has become the go-to location in the greater area for all your spice needs. The presentation of the store seems to have declined with the years and is in need of renovation and reorganization. Parking is challenging in Cambridge, but this location is right next to the MBTA Central Square red line subway station.

Decent store for Indian groceries and supplies. The best thing about the place is its location. You can get most of the things here, but the availability varies a lot from day to day. But if you visit the place couple of times a week, you would end up getting pretty much most of the things. It is also slightly expensive. The other thing to note is that I have found out that it doesnt accept card on some days.

The actual restaurant part had good food, and really nice customer service, despite our (my and their) issues with Grubhub.I cant say I browsed much while I was there in the store waiting for my order to go, so I cant really speak to that part of it.They were also out of kulfi by the time I had to reorder my Grubhub order, so I dont know what it tastes like, but if youre in the mood for it Id say go early.

Compact place, so holds only selected but very good brands: makes it easier to shop. Dosa/fresh Indian food shop is another bonus.

A decent Indian grocery store. They have very limited rice varieties. They mostly have only Basmati rice. The veggies selection is quite good.

Good variety of lentils,spices and frozen items but there were literally no choice for rice that was disappointing. Girl from register was really helpful though she was alone in the store she help me to find spices...appreciating.

It used to be a better store. There isnt a very attractive look to the place. The employees keeps changing and are not efficient or friendly. The selection of frozen foods is okay.

The only thing good about this Indian grocery store is its proximity to the public transport T-station within the Boston metro area. Naturally, the prices are high and product choices are limited. Some of my favorite frozen items are always out of stock. If you can do your Indian groceries at stores in Waltham, dont bother coming here. If not... I can feel your pain.

Pretty good selection of Indian spices and ingredients. Lots of ready to eat food packets from MTR available here. The frozen Gobi paratha from here is really tasty.

Such a huge rip-off on Indian grocery. They dont have prices marked on most of the products and you will be surprised by your bill when you are about to pay. Prices on some of their frozen breads are about twice the price I used to pay elsewhere.

The restaurant is not clean.Their bathroom is so dirty that, l wondered how they passed the inspection. Foods are also not fresh and made from very cheap ingredients. Never again !!!

Compact urban Indian grocery store right at Central Square. Good selection of spices, sauces, fresh and canned goods and even some frozen flatbreads. Can get very busy and crowded so just be patient.

Isnt always fully stocked and is temporarily closed for renovation. Save yourself a trip!

Went in here expecting it to be a normal falafel place and was blown away! what an interesting food item i had never experienced before, giant meat and veggie filled crepes! and super delicious

I ate at the restaurant and bought groceries too. The buffet look miserable so I ordered from the menu. Masala dosa was edible but not tasty. I didnt feel the place was clean. The grocery store had a good selection of variety of Indian vegetables and other items. The produce items were extremely cold and wet, almost frozen.

MOLD ON THE BREAD: We have eaten at this place once or twice before and while we thought the food wasnt anything special, it wasnt terrible. Then last week we ordered the Pav Bhaji (bread with spicy vegetable stew) and there was a significant amount of mold on the bread. What was alarming was that the week before that, we had also noticed mold growing on the bread stored in the adjoining store. I am really concerned about the general level of hygiene in the store and restaurant.While the owner did replace the bread for us, there was not a trace of an apology or a penitent look. In addition, when we were about to leave, he curtly reminded us that we needed to throw away the trash even though we were just about to do so. Finally, our dining experience was spoiled by the sight of the owner constantly spitting into a trash can behind the register.Overall this was a very disappointing experience and we probably wont eat here again.

Standard Indian grocery fare plus bitter gourd, timoor, masaura, dosas and bara, tika, barfi-- great for any hungry Nepali.

I ordered quite a bit of food from Dosa Factory using MixMenu. The noodles came in a broken plastic container (due to a poor quality container) and the oil was dripping all over my floor. I asked them to make the food spicy (under instructions), but it was mostly bland and cold. The sambhar in the medu vada tasted like water and was cold. I dont plan to order from them ever again.

Love this place! Serves food not found in most other indian stores and has very speedy service. Dont bother if you want a fine dining experience, but perfect for a quick stop and delicious food (i.e. if you want ambience and decor). Love that it terms dosa as street food not entirely correct, but Ill give it a pass, since Im hard pressed to find a crisper dosa around Boston.Sambhar and Masala dosa are great. Chutney is sub-par (but Ill chalk this up to it being hard to find fresh coconut in Boston).

Way overpriced for the food and atmosphere. Should be no more than 2/3 the price.Food is just OK.But they get points for serving Indian dishes not found in most Indian restaurants.

Horrible place !! Selling stuff without any expiration date and when you ask them why it doesnt carry expiration date their answer is these thing doesnt have any expiration date.Everything is overpriced, they are just there to make money.
