Great store, absolutely would recommend. It has some perfect gifts to give someone moving to Boston--or even anyone who just likes Boston! Great responsive customer service as well.

Great selection of all things MBTA, but way more than that. If you are looking for any sort of vintage or modern map as a wall hanging, this place is perfect. On top of that, if you are looking for a Boston souvenir (that isnt a tourist souvenir) give this place a try. This is definitely a unique place for the greater Boston area.

I think like a lot of people who grew up in Boston AND rode the MBTA frequently AND are huge train fans, I have the same reaction: How the heck am I JUST NOW making it to this store?! First, note that the ACTUAL name of the store is WardMaps, but so many people know it by the website MBTAgifts.com that it basically goes by that name.Anyway, its chock-full of just about all the MBTA memorabilia you could ask for-- from old schedules to big former actual train signs to, my favorite, train stop magnets, to, in honor of the COVID-19 pandemic, face mask with pictures of the various rapid transit trains on them. Since its TECHNICALLY a maps store, it ALSO has some cool, mostly older maps of the Boston Area, plus some branded merchandise of the NYC Subway.Back to the magnets--WOW, CHEAP at $3.50! Where Ive gotten them previously, Newbury Comics, charges $4.99, and the CambridgeSide Galleria cart on the second floor charges a whopping $5.99--and both their selections are limited to boot! I wouldnt be surprised if they had someone from each location just stops by WardMaps once a month and buys a handful and jacks up the price!!Cashier was really friendly and helpful too!

A great place to find all things MBTA including vintage items. It is a must see. Prices are very reasonable.

Visited the store yesterday. If you love the MBTA, and its rich history, this is the place for you. There are nice apparel and gift options - and you also get a chance to purchase a piece of vintage MBTA history: signs, tokens, maps, etc.

Excellent selection of maps of all kinds. Dont be fooled by the name as they have various original and reproduction maps unrelated to public transportation such as maps of Europe, North America, and various towns, although public transportation is their specialty. Friendly staff as well.
