Had the opportunity to eat at Veggie Galaxy recently, and it was so delicious! Staff are so welcoming and friendly. The menu had so many great options, it was difficult to choose one. I had the vegan (South) Western Avenue omelette. It was great! Portions are large and food is fresh. Fried pickles also amazing! Highly recommend :-)

This was the first time in two years I got to eat here. I was so excited because I hadn’t been able to come for two years with Covid and the border closing. While the food was good, the service was simply awful. We got seated pretty fast, but it took over 10 minutes to get water and be asked if we wanted anything to drink. We then had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Anytime someone was assisting us, it was like they wanted to get away from our table as fast as possible.Once we got our food, we had to wait another 20minutes to try to get more coffee. The girl didn’t even let me finish my sentence so I couldn’t ask for milk and sugar or ketchup for our fries. We weren’t even halfway through our meal and they brought our bill.Never did they ask us if everything was okay, if we needed anything, we never got a single refill of water. It then took another long time after we were finished eating to get to pay the bill.Yet multiple waitresses were standing in the corner talking. It would also be nice to not allow badly behaved dogs on the patio. While I love dogs and have no problem with them being there. I do not enjoy having a dog barking right next to me for the whole time I was there. It should be clear with dogs owners that their dogs must be well behaved so it isn’t a disturbance to other people.

Everything we ordered was extremely delicious. Honestly very much worth the 30min wait for a table. However our food took about an hour to come out which is the only reason I took off a star. I understand they are very busy but if that’s the case then more staff should be hired. Regardless I’ll come back here because it was so darn delicious!!!

First and forth most the food was absolutely amazing here. Nothing was wrong with the food. If you dont like vegetarian or vegan food or havent tried it, then this is the place to go where you will fall in love with the foodThe service though.... I want to say that it is because of the shortage of workers, but we were completely forgotten about after we were given a table. We had to keep going up to the host stand to get service. And at the end of it had to get our own check to pay for it. Hopefully they get more workers and arent normally this way.

This was my first visit to Veggie Galaxy and I can’t wait to go back! The server was so welcoming, I asked for suggestions, because everything on the menu seemed so delicious that I couldn’t choose one, and she recommended the Mac’n Stack and the Reuben. I got the Reuben, my boyfriend tried the Mac’ n stack, both delicious! The place was super busy on Sunday for lunch, but take your time to check out this place, it’s worth it. We waited 25min to be seated, not bad, and the place was sooo crowded, so I think that’s actually very fast.

As a long-time vegetarian, Veggie Galaxy is a God send. Ive been to many vegetarian or vegan-only spots that are good, but their very extensive menu and variety of comfort-food options makes this the best Ive frequented. Plus, their seasonal cocktails are outstanding! My mom is an omnivore (the kind who is not a tofu fan), but even she thought it was amazing. The wait-times on weekends are significant, but its oh so worth it - and theres a bar where you can order drinks and small plates while you wait! My biggest rec is their Fried Avocado. My wifes rec is the Reuben sandwich.

One of my favorite vegan restaurants EVER. Ive lived in Portland, OR (vegan heaven) for 3 years and nothing there even comes close to veggie galaxy. So many options. Home fries need a little more seasoning, but everything else i have ever got from this place is amazing. Ive probably been 30+ times. Best place to bring non vegans everyone i have brought loves it. #1 vegan restaurant imo. Best buffalo wings and sandwich for buffalo fiends! Theyre always spicy as hell but in the best way can still taste the delicious flavor. Veggie galaxy is changing the world thanks for being here 💕

A comfort food vegans dream. I dont know why they even have dairy cheese as an option; all of the vegan versions we enjoyed were amazing.Gyro couldve used a little extra sauce... By the time I was two bites into it, there was no sauce remaining. But it was still amazing. Reuben, mac and cheese balls, Rachel, Gyro, fried pickles, and frappes, were all excellent.Service was excellent, and the host was particularly welcoming and funny.Cant wait to return.

We treated ourselves for the very first time with a 15-item order from Veggie Galaxy and although it seemed impossible - nothing disappointed! Even more, everything was absolutely amazing and I might have had the best omelette in my life! The parfait cup was deliciousness through and through. The pick-up experience was absolutely seamless and might be the best take out experience I’ve had over the past year. My only thing would be that I expected a bitt less sugar in the bakery items but that’s just my personal preference. All sweet items were absolutely delicious and I still ate them all, just in smaller portions over longer periods of time(which was kind of cool as it gave me more time to enjoy them!)

I really wanted to love it, it could easily become a “spot” for me. Instead, about 4hrs after having the mozzarella sticks and the buffalo mac and cheese (with vegan cheese sauce) I am *still* nauseous and have such a feeling of pain and discomfort that I wish I could just go to sleep and undo my late lunch. It was my first time eating from Veggie Galaxy and perhaps their breakfast or desserts are better but would not recommend what I had... I’ve included pictures for reference. The “cheese” inside the mozzarella sticks was slimy so maybe it was that (the breading was tasty though)? Or maybe the breaded buffalo seitan? The pasta and vegan cheese sauce were good. The service was great and I will probably try some lower stake meals down the line as I have some friends who consider Veggie Galaxy a decent quick fix. I’ll update this review if I do, but based exclusively on what I ate I have to give a 2/5 with one of those stars being for service!

Servers were very kind and accommodating but food was abysmal. I got the mac and stack and it was weirdly sweet and very greasy, with no other discernible flavors. The waffle mac was cold and the noodles had obviously been sitting a while before being waffle’d, causing the noodles to be a little tough. My partner got the portabella patty melt and all we tasted was dill. Dill is great but you couldn’t taste ANYTHING else. Afterwards I got sick from the food and could taste grease the rest of the night. The service is great but the food was disappointing.

Visited Boston last week and dined here for the entirety of my trip! I couldn’t believe how delicious the food was! We tried their chickpea tuna melt, onion rings, Buffalo chicken tenders, meat ball sub, Buffalo chicken burger, blue plate special, giant gyro and mozeralla sticks. Everything was delicious and lip smacking good! I wanted to try other restaurants but after we found veggie galaxy on our first day in this was it for me. Their special frappe is nothing like any vegan milkshake I have ever tasted! The owner is an extremely nice gentleman and I thank him for creating such an unbelievably good menu for vegans/vegetarian.I would also like to add that if you do decide to dine in, the servers will bring you the food out. But if you need anything else like extra napkins etc it would be better to just get up and grab yourself since everything is visibly within reach. It gets busy. I’m not sure if this is normal but I didn’t mind since the food came out fine each time!

If you are not vegan and eat a typical American diet (fried food and processed food) you will like this restaurant and it will be a good place to swap out your meat meals for vegan ones. However, if you are a whole food vegan who is used to a very colorful, nourishing plate, you may be disappointed. I would love to see some bowls with cabbage and chickpeas and kale and beans and lentils. The buffalo chicken tenders with pickles were really good and you couldnt even tell it wasnt meat. The birthday cake was way too sweet, to the point that my kids didnt like it. The chickpea tuna was really gross, like really really gross. If it had a bunch of chopped veggies in it, it would have been better. The veggie burger was really good and so was the mac and cheese.

I have never written a review before, but this experience deserves to be written about. The food was all right, but our experience was ruined by the service. We ordered two cups of bottomless coffee. One of them was bitter to the extent of being undrinkable. We simply asked the server if she could replace it. She said all coffee is the same. We showed her how much milk it took to make both cups the same color, let alone the fact that the taste WAS in fact wildly different. We each had tried them both. She kept insisting arrogantly that it was all the same and walked away, treating us like liars. Let me repeat, this was bottomless coffee. They were willing to refill it unlimited number of times. Instead of simply replacing a cup, she treated us with extreme arrogance (like there is NO reason under the sun that two cups of coffee could be different). After we called a different server to replace the coffee, our server continued to act with the same unnecessary disbelief.P.S. We werent even bothered by the long wait (20-30 mins) to get the coffee and the foodAFTER being seated. The wait to be seated on a Sunday afternoon was about 30 mins.

I am a frequent visitor at Veggie Galaxy and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this establishment. There is curb parking right outside that must be paid for however, the location is so close to the central square stop (red line) that there is no need to drive here. Upon entering this diner there is an old school classic style vibe that will bring you back to a calmer time. The decoration matches the vibe the owner tries to display. The overall cleanliness of this location is spectacular. Even the restrooms have a comfortable setting. It is nice sitting at the bar and watching the cooks make meals with efficiency and speed, its almost entertaining. Sitting at the tables or booths are also pretty comfortable. The employees provide outstanding customer service and its clear that they enjoy their job. They make you feel welcome and in some strange way they make me feel young again. Each dish could be made vegan. Veggie Galaxy does an amazing job in proving that being a vegetarian can be easier then you think. I have never been disappointed with a dish. If you plan on visiting, I recommend making future plans on returning as well. Breakfast is their forte, but their lunches and desserts are something worth ordering again and again. Each time I visit I order a boozy milkshake which I highly recommend if you are over 21 (please drink responsibly). I will be returning soon, and I always look forward to coming back to this location. Great job staff, cooks, and owner.

I came to Veggie Galaxy yesterday around 7:40pm, and there was a 40 minute wait for a table of 8. We were okay with the wait time because we have heard positive reviews about this restaurant. However, we regret coming here. We were sat at around 8:20 and we didnt get our food for an hour. The waitress did not bother to check up on us or tell us when the food would be ready. We insisted that we needed diet coke, however she brings out a cola bottle. The only problem with this is that my friend cannot have sugary beverages. Another problem was that the waitress did not put the vegan option for one of the omelettes. My friend who received this omelette is VEGAN and this was her first time having actual eggs. This is not okay!!!! I informed the waitress about it and she confirmed that it was not vegan. I do not recall her apologizing for this matter - for it is very serious and frustrating. On top of that, people received their food at different times and most of them were cold. The vegan chickn on my burger was super tough and cold. Overall, the experience was negative and there were so many things that went wrong.

Great place for those with a specific diet or have food restrictions. My girlfriend is vegan so it was nice that everything on their menu could be made that way. The Galaxy sandwich was good, but a little on the heavy side. Vegan mozzarella sticks were okay, but my girlfriend and I could only eat two since it was another heavy item with a heavy sammy.

I’ve gone here twice so far and ordered pancakes both times. Once with their traditional pancakes and another with their blueberry filled. Both with mixed berries on top. Their pancakes are AMAZING. They come with banana butter, which I’ve never seen anywhere else, and this really light syrup that adds just the right amount of sweetness. I’ve also had their tea, and it’s so legit!! It’s not the powdered stuff. It comes from a legit tea bag, meaning you have to add your own sugar. I’ve heard from my friend that their iced coffee and vegan milkshakes are also really good. The place is stylized like a classic 80s diner. The staff are super friendly. This bustling vegan diner in central Cambridge is a hot spot for hipster and locals. The food is your classic diner favorites plus a few more eclectic choices (todays changing blue late item was bubbys brisket and latkes). The service is FAST (so fast we regretted ordering our mains at the same time as the appetizers). The big question is how does it compare to non vegetarian spots? The answer depends on what you order. The frappe milkshakes taste more like coconut than anything else. The Mexican fajita was delicious but the meat (seitan) was the worst part. The Greek salad was very good and a welcome break from the fried everything. PRO TIPS: finish your appetizers before ordering your main dishes. Take public transit or an Uber parking is difficult.

Cute plant-based diner that can make anything on their menu vegan! They have everything youd expect from a diner, from decor to food. They offer a ton of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, with a good selection of desserts. The wait can be long, Ive been there a few times and have waited from 30-90ish mintues, BUT... their vegan frappes alone make it worth it.

I just ordered food for 7 people for my son’s 22nd birthday and I was just blown away by the quality of this food! So many comfort foods, all made Vegan! I had the Rachel, which I haven’t had in years since going Vegan, and it was absolutely phenomenal! My husband who is a meat eater had the Steak and Cheese and said he would never have guessed it was not real meat. I totally forgot to take pictures before devouring all the meals but trust me, it’s the real deal! The online ordering was simple and the pick up process was seamless. If you haven’t tried it yet, I would highly recommend!

Delicious seitan “fried chicken” and waffles. Veggie gravy that tastes just like sausage - minus of course the animal fat/oils.

This is definitely one of the better brunch spots in the area and the best vegetarian brunch place period. The place can be pretty busy on weekends, had to wait 30 mins to get a table. The vegan twists of popular breakfast classics like chicken waffles and corn beef were really good. (made with seitan). I enjoyed my biscuits with southern sausage gravy. The chickpea tuna stuffed avacado sandwitch was really good as well! Highly recommend this brunch place to any vegan looking for a great brunch.

My spouse and I chose Veggie Galaxy as the first place that we try indoor dining since February 2020, and we both had the worst and best experience - Veggie Galaxy made it the best. Both of us have extremely sensitive sensory input disorders that only got worse during the pandemic, needless to say that indoor dining was overwhelming to the point that I had a panic attack while inside. But, Abigail and Eric, the hosts for the evening, turned everything around. We asked first if the music could be turned down and then gave up on indoor and asked to move outside. These two employees were so nice and accommodating for us that we will definitely be making the trip from Providence more often. Of course, the food was delicious, but Abigail and Eric really made our night. Thank you!!!!
