Theres no indoor service here, youve got to scan a QR code and place your order online. However, they can also take your order at the entrance. There are a few tables just outside the restaurant. You might want to eat there, its pretty calm. The food is also really nice, you can try the avocado toast or the pesto sandwish. The coffee is also really good here.5/5.

An awesome spot for breakfast, lunch and if you can catch it dinner subscriptions to go. The Alewife location has easy free weekend parking and is a short walk from the Alewife T stop. Be sure to cross the parking lot for a walk through the nature area and/or bike path. Everything is made from scratch including all the breads. I am a fan of their English muffins especially.

Had the lavender mocha hot, and the Asiago bagel with egg, broccoli and cheese. Both tasted amazing and I loved the unique flavors.

A
Review №4

Fantastic cage with really good coffee and outstanding breakfast sandwiches. The Broccoli Situation gets my highest recommendation.

A
Review №5

Order three drinks, wait 20+ minutes, still not ready. I didnt know what those five staffs behind counter were doing

A
Review №6

First time visiting. Got the grain bowl, added avocado and fried chicken (Friday). It was excellent! Everything very fresh and tasty!

A
Review №7

Really great coffee, especially enjoy their unique offerings such as their summer creamsicle mocha latte. Ordering is currently offered online for pickup (no dine-in at this point) and its very easy to customize each item. Staff are friendly too. Only note is that its on the pricey side for a cafe, but you get the quality that you pay for.

Great coffee and breakfast in the morning. MUST order online during this difficult time of COVID-19. There are few outdoor seats available, and sanitation station for wiping down the table and chairs. After finishing the breakfast, we went for a walk in Alewife reservation park, and enjoyed nature.

Had an incredible sandwich for lunch today. Great place! Very friendly staff

A
Review №10

Amazing coffee and pastries, but not just a coffee shop! Delicious, creative sandwiches and specials. Since moving to the area, I can’t stay away from this place for more than a few days at a time. And the people are so friendly!

A new place for me and was excited to try it out especially since it’s a sister restaurant of Crema Cafe. Plenty of parking at the back of the building on a Sat morning. It is beautiful spacious cafe. We ordered the avocado toast and grain bowl. Avocado toast tasted better without the kimchi. We love the taste of the smoked oat bread. Against the Grain Bowl was a huge disappointment as it was bland and need some delicious sauce to kick it up! We weren’t that impressed with the ingredients in the bowl. We had two cortado and the lavender corn muffin. I didn’t take any pic of it, but coffee and pastries seemed tastier for us. Not sure if I’ll drive 6 miles from Boston to come here again.

If you like great coffee, scratch made pastries and fresh food in a beautiful artsy space, this is your Cafe! These are the same folks who own Crema Cafe in Harvard Sq. If youve been in there you know what to expect, they dont cut corners. This new space is bigger, brighter, more welcoming, and overall better. They take their coffee and pastries very seriously. Their breakfast and lunch offerings do not disappoint either.Supposedly in soft opening mode still, youd never know it though.Parking can be tricky, theres a lot out back. And its a short 3 minute walk from Alewife T and the bike path.

A
Review №13

Nice outdoor seating options, easy menu to navigate for online ordering (required) and the Bagelicious was insanely good

A
Review №14

Good: taste, ambiance. Very calm spacious place.

A
Review №15

Great coffee and the cinnamon coffee cake is amazing. Staff were incredibly nice and knowledgeable and the location is conveniently located right by Alewife station. It is busy but doesn’t seem cramped as the layout is spacious. Weekends have free parking too! I will add this to my list of go to coffee shops in the Cambridge area. Thanks Revival - You got this!

A
Review №16

This shop is a little more hidden than the Davis location but it’s still a great coffee and breakfast stop! Great coffee and an interesting menu. The avocado toast had a colorful presentation, which was a nice boost for a relatively not-as-expensive cafe

A
Review №17

Amazing food, unique drinks, and a lovely spot to sit! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My daughter got the babyccino and loved it.

A
Review №18

Transcendently good cardamom rose latte and breakfast sandwich (Black Cap). Tangy aoili really adds. Ordered online and it was ready in a few minutes, good dairy-free options. recommend the little park/inlet behind the building to picnic in, as the seating area by the restaurant itself faces the parking. Hope that with the better weather they could move the curbside pickup table outside instead of in the lobby? But in any case the pickup process was clear and staff very friendly!

A
Review №19

I ordered a decaf coffee and they gave me a fully caffeinated one. Now it’s torturing me. They don’t seem to know what they are doing.

A
Review №20

Would recommend the cold Hot chocolate for this summer.

A
Review №21

We love Revival’s snacks and sense of community! This is the best spot in town. Go crazy and get the fries on your breakfast sando!!!

A
Review №22

Alewife is adding new great places daily! A great addition to the neighborhood. Not a coffee drinker but can vouch for their food/pastries. Delicious!

A
Review №23

Great coffee and solid sandwiches and pastries. Favorites are zucchini muffins and crispy eggplant. The folx who work here are so great; theyre why we keep coming back.

A
Review №24

Amazing breakfast sandwiches. Almost too good.

A
Review №25

Their cortado is excellent and served not-hand-burning-hot! They have parking available in the back lot on the weekends which is very helpful. Delicious almond flour brownie and baked apple cider doughnut.

A
Review №26

Great coffee and lattes and a good spot for lunch in the Alewife area.

A
Review №27

Great coffee. Nice pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Friendly service. But the best part is the lawn seating, right next to the Bird Reserve.

A
Review №28

Revival is great for your morning coffee and/or breakfast, lunch, or late lunch! Its the perfect place to stop in, relax, work, or meet!

A
Review №29

Wish they had more non-meat options besides pastas and tuna burgers. They have a nice drink menu too but the bar area is a bit small. If you were planning on going out for drinks Id recommend getting a table and ordering drinks and apps. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood and looking for something a little different.

Amazing cafe with a wide variety of choices.

A

Great place for lunch!

A
Review №32

Great breakfast and coffee!!

A
Review №33

The coffee is fantastic, I often choose the complex, but its only offered as hot. They do have iced, but you arent able to select any specific brews for it. For lunch I usually choose the crispy eggplant sandwich which is consistently delicious. Also, the house seltzer is a must try.

A
Review №34

Really excellent local spot. Odd location but one I will travel to for great coffee, service and food. Right off the Belmont to Alewife bike extension too!

A
Review №35

Thank God we have Revival in alewife which has extremely limited options of the very average summer shack and bertuccis. Service is top notch ..seating overlooks the alewife brook reservation area with lots of sunlight during summer. Only issue is menu doesnt change much. So I stick to the same things I like during my weekly visits . But really everything else is just perfect.

A
Review №36

The coffee and sandwiches are great. So are the staff.

A
Review №37

The crispy eggplant sandwich is one of the best gourmet sandwiches I’ve ever had. I work nearby and I order it at least once every couple weeks! Their pastries are also great, I especially like the Monster Bar.

A
Review №38

Great little cafe near the Alewife T station. About 3 minutes walk from the station with ample free parking on the weekends (look for the sign).Very cute space with lots of natural light. Great for having coffee and food, reading, or getting some work done (free wifi). Ive tried the drip coffee, iced coffee, and iced latte- all tasty and strong.I tried the veggie quiche here and was shocked by how good it was. Really great flavors and it came with greens and this delicious spicy yogurt. The owner was extremely pleasant and all the employees I have met so far are welcoming, efficient, and polite.Looking forward to trying more of their interesting drinks, delicious looking pastries, and other food.

A
Review №39

Awesome neighborhood cafe with interesting breakfast and lunch options. The staff in friendly, the coffee is good and the interior is modern. So great to have such a nice place in the Alewife area!

A
Review №40

We love everything on their menu. Their sandwiches are creative and taste amazing. Their fries are super nice and crunchy, possibly my favorite fries in the world. Their coffee is always fantastic and their service comes with a true smile. Can’t recommend enough!

A
Review №41

I love this place. The worst thing that ever happened here is when they replaced some delicious things on their menu with different but equally delicious things. Everyone is always friendly and service is quick. Also those fries are insanely delicious.

A
Review №42

Terrific cafe! Best iced coffee in town. Great atmosphere and good vibes. Love the cafe space and staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!

A
Review №43

Regarding Revival next to Alewife Reservation.Excellent oasis between Belmont and Cambridge. Enjoyed the overnight oats cup. (dairy free), the music was nice and the volume was set so conversation was possible. Big Thanks.Glad to see the next venture for one of Crema Cafes owners and staff.Looking forward to going for breakfast and lunch in the future. Have to try their gluten-free bread and cookies!

A
Review №44

Staff is always cheery and helpful. The food and beverages are so damn tasty and I love the daily specials. Great on the weekend for a more mellow cafe experience. Highly recommended!

A

What can I say that hasnt been said by other reviewers?- Coffee: delicious- Food: delicious- Staff: really friendly- Location: you can drive here, if you want. Or if youre like me, youll love its location off the Fitchburg Cutoff Bike Path, behind Alewife Station. Lots of bike parking.- Interior: spacious, lots of tables, bench seating, and high top seating, and a half-dozen high chairs- Kid-friendly: on a Saturday mid-day, Ive seen a ton of families with kids from a couple months old to 10 years old come through (including my own), mixed with people working and studying and hanging out.Revival is great.

Great coffee and food and nice people.

A
Review №49

Great coffee, service, and pastries in a comfortable, laid back environment. Right off the alewife pathway. A very nice spot for a refreshment. Ill stop by to try the more savory breakfast and lunch options soon.

A
Review №50

Always have a good experience here and my online order is always ready by the time I arrive!

A
Review №51

Great little spot. Southern style biscuit sandwich was exactly what I needed to start my Saturday. Fancy garnishes on the avo toast totally worth it!

A
Review №52

Food is usually good though weve had a couple sandwiches that lacked flavor. Theyve been expanding quickly with new locations so must be doing very well!

A
Review №53

Good prices and food. Advice: change the music please. It is terrible and very loud.

A
Review №54

I love the place and the food! The service is a+. Always want to come back!

A
Review №55

Friendly staff; lovely atmosphere to have brunch.

A
Review №56

Lovely place. Try breakfast pizza if you see it on the menu

A
Review №57

Lavender corn muffin was to die for! Great quiche and coffee too.

A
Review №58

I have tried several of there specials, chicken on Fridays is amazing. So I have gone through a third of the menu and it all is pretty good.

A
Review №59

Love the flavor combos. Super fresh!

A
Review №60

Sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Would go back regularly for lunch. Also quiet place to work.

A
Review №61

Prices are fair, wait time was no time at all. Perfect location and nice staff. If you eat here first thing you will notice is there modern artist feel to it and of course the smell of the foods and drinks.

A
Review №62

Their homemade muffin/bread is the worst, mostly because they drown it in butter. Its inedible! Even my egg was drowned in butter, this is the only place where Ive failed to finish an avocado toast!

A
Review №63

Nice. The first work lunch here.

A
Review №64

Nice little spot simple food decent pricing, will need to see if they can make a proper espresso my next visit. Music was quite loud should be more of a background ambience.

A
Review №65

I had the Black Cap. Possibly the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. English Muffin in no way does justice to the roll it came on.

A
Review №66

Great cafe with excellent coffee, food, and possibly, the best gluten free toast I have ever eaten!

A
Review №67

Sweet staff and really nice space. Not at all crowded in the morning

A
Review №68

Tasty food and nice people who seem happy to work there.

A
Review №69

Always friendly staff, fresh food and amazing fries.

A
Review №70

Incredibly friendly staff, but in general the food needs a little bit more salt

5 stars! 1 for taste, 1 for ambiance, 1 for service, 1 for menu innovation, and 1 for value! My two good college friends and I came here one Saturday afternoon sweaty and starving after a killer workout class, and was pleasantly surprised to find not only free and plentiful parking, but a nice, cozy but well laid-out space inside, buzzing with people but not so crazy you couldnt find space to sit. We ordered 4 things to share: the kale salad, the magic melt, the black cap breakfast sammie, and the tuna salad sammie. Everything was great! My favorite was the black cap -- super rich Italian deli slices (capocollo?) atop a ridiculously fluffy, square (!) egg between two slices of rich bread. The tuna salad sammie was surprisingly yummy as well -- the radish brought an unforeseen freshness to the sammie that was both excellent and unexpected for something so pedestrian as tuna salad. The magic melt was meaty and rich, with amazing brioche bread. And the kale salad -- while our least favorite of the four things, was fresh, light, and still tasty, with the toasted nuts bringing a nice texture and sweetness. They serve George Howell coffee (so its good). My cortado was solid -- dark and rich, and my friends seemed pleased with their drinks as well. Service was quick! We got all our food within 7 minutes easy. And value was great as well. We paid $16 each (so the bill was $48 total) for 4 things and 3 fancy drinks, so not bad at all!

A new place with all the trendy stuff

A
Review №79

Great sandwiches, good food, nice atmosphere

A
Review №80

Great almond flour brownies

A
Review №81

Great food and space. Free parking on weekends.

A
Review №82

Overpriced, low quality food. Their chicken is frozen, and the eggs are like the kind you get at Dunkin Donuts. They survive due to lack of other options in the area.

A
Review №83

Still the best in North Cambridge

A
Review №84

Their food is good but not nearly good enough for how wildly overpriced it is. Their options are crazy limited and the food always takes forever. Ill pass.

Terrible service they tell you to order online instead of the cashier just putting in the order in the tablet he has. Also they did not have a straw for my ice coffee. Overall terrible customer service
