I got the spicy veggie ramen, and it was pretty good, but as the menu says, it is made with instant noodles, so its pretty salty. The mushrooms, egg, and bean sprouts definitely improve it, but I probably wouldnt recommend this dish since its something that can be made at home. Its good if you want something relatively fast, filling, and inexpensive though.

My boyfriend and I love Dado! We usually go to the location near Central, but we recently moved so this one is now closer. Its always quiet and has instrumental music playing, so its the perfect environment for sitting and reading! The bubble tea can vary a bit in taste depending on who is making it, but if you try a bunch of the flavors youre sure to find a favorite. You should definitely stop by if youre looking for a place to work or chat with friends!

A very college-friendly cafe. They brew loose-leaf teas, have nice lunch specials and everything is freshly made. Vegetarian and dairy-free options. The ladies who took care of me when I visited were very nice and professional. Next time I visit Cambridge, Ill try more teas!

Popped in here on a chilly day to get something warm to drink. The hot chocolate was warm, but not hot. In addition, I thought it was just watery and terrible hot chocolate, but when I got to the final couple sips, I found globs of chocolate. Guess I should have stirred it myself.Maybe other things here are good, but stay away from the hot chocolate unless you want to be disappointed.

I chose to try this location as an alternative to Starbucks. I wanted to get a cheap cup of coffee for next my class, but upon ordering was informed that they couldnt accept credit transactions below $5. Wanting to support their business, I opted to get a large latte to satisfy the requirement. The latte was by far the worst I have ever had. I cannot speak for the food/tea, but if you want coffee, do not go here.

Great service, but pastries and coffee is only ok. It feels more like a local, family owned businesses than other coffee shops around Harvard Square. They have good Wi-fi. The place is a little hidden a few streets from the main strip, but it makes it quiet and a good study spot.

The lobby is very beautiful and lots of comfortable seats and tables. And I do really love the décor, very feminine looked and furnished well. And there is also a girl that plays harpsichord that gives an additional loveliness and good vibes to the place. Very elegant and quiet place. Perfect for a date with your loved one.

Small, casual, convenient, American-style Korean place which is more of a cafe than a restaurant. Good views of Church Street from the bar along the window. Parking is challenging in Harvard Square, but this establishment is around the corner from the MBTA red line Harvard Square subway station.

Hard to rate this one --- I like it, but they have a weird selection of foods. the espresso is pretty average/meh, but I dont know where else I can get similar sticky rice as this place. It definitely bring richness to the area though, and I hope it stays. The bubble tea is nice, too.

Bought two ice teas today, the first one was delicious! The second was for sure burnt and over steeped, when asking if I could exchange it for something not burnt I was told that they could not do that.

I know Dado Tea since about 2005 when it had an air of freshness and novelty. We still go there with my wife occasionally but sadly my impression is that the place has lost its cool veneer through the years. A specific example is the orange mugs with the Dado tea logo on them - they look so shabby and old and the orange glaze is peeling off - leaving specks of paint on the rim of the mug, on your lips and in your drink. Now Im not a specialist to determine if ceramic glaze with orange colored pigment is toxic but Id bet it is not good for you. Quite a contrast with the otherwise healthy pretense of the food and drink served there. This observation was confirmed on several accounts in both Dado tea location on Church str and Mass ave. Dado tea - please get new mugs! The ones you use look like $1 a piece anyways - dont be such misers.

I had dado noodle soup which is the most expensive noodle soup from the menu. Noodle soup was based on an instant noodle soup package (not the best or expensive package) with salad vegetable. Lots of sesame oil and hot sauce. No protein! Not healthy food nor tasty.

Some people swear by Dado but I generally find their food underwhelming. It isnt the freshest, or cleanest, and the food isnt usually what I was expecting when it comes up at the counter. Ive gone here twice hoping for a better experience the second time but alas, two stars is all I can give this place.

Their iced teas are very good and their service is fine, but their food is very low quality and priced much too high for what it is. They use the same chicken in every dish and its basically dog food quality. It has a totally weird, chewy texture and no flavor. Their ramen and other soups are obviously made from instant flavor packets. Their Japanese curry bears no resemblance to actual Japanese curry, or any other kind of curry for that matter. Its basically a completely flavorless onion soup. The staff is fine at preparing this stuff, but theyre working with extremely cut-rate, lousy ingredients and putting together ill-considered recipes that were clearly devised to save the owners money and allow them to use the same 5 ingredients for everything, not to be particularly healthy or tasty. All of these problems and youre still paying the same high price youd pay for good food at a quality sit-down restaurant.

It was summer, and it was HOT. Super hot. Hot enough to make my face sweat and then dry instantly so that my face felt like I was botoxed and the only facial expression I could manage was surprise at how hot it was. I walked into Dado thinking Id grab a plain iced tea and be on my wayand there it was, the holy grail of hot day beverages-- thai iced tea. Super sweet, highly flavored and icy, icy cold, my day was saved. The transaction was quick and friendly and my drink was made to perfection with the perfect balance of tea and sweetened condensed milk.
