This is a wonderful bookstore! There are new and used (I think?) books in lots of topics. Religion, occult, contemporary issues, philosophy, etc. I was looking for books on lucid dreaming and there were lots on that as well as on dream interpretation. Lots of religions represented here too. And the crystals, fossils, and gems - omg what a beautiful selection! Theyre not all hidden away behind glass too. You can touch them, pick them up, feel their weight. I wish I had a million dollars so I could buy everything! The employees are really nice too. Overall, a great store and a great experience!

A treasure trove of new age, mystical and spiritual texts coupled with an amazing collections of crystals and stones. Time and time again I’ve been able to quite easily find rare books here - and if not, the staff has always been able to track them down for me. Knowledgeable and personable, the staff is the best. I’ve curiously been leaping from subject to subject for years now and have an immense amount of gratitude for Seven Stars helping to fuel the journey.

My favorite bookstore. They have an enormous collection of books on spirituality, philosophy, personal development, religion and Eastern philosophies. They also have some crystals and jewelry. Would definitely go back!

My favorite place for all things spiritual. They have the biggest selection of crystals I’ve seen at a spiritual store(tumbled and raw). They also have bracelets and pendulums!Their book selection is also incredible! You’ll find almost any book here you may need for your journey. They also have incense and a small selection of sage! They have a wall of both tarot and oracle too which is my favorite! I get all my spiritual materials from here and i love every one of them. The owner is also super friendly and welcoming. Hands down the best spiritual shop in the Boston Area.

EDIT: This store also sells palo santo and white sage, which both are big no-nos as its becoming overharvested due to it becoming trendy, as well as both being culturally appropriated. Sage in particular has been used by Indigenous people for centuries and they have spoken out asking to stop using this herb that is sacred to them. Please stop buying these items if you are non-native!!!!!!Coming here as a POC felt very hostile. While the store had an amazing range of different crystals, the workers made no effort to be welcoming. There is also a huge selection of books, but Im disappointed at the lack of POC authors especially in regards to practices that originate from other countries. Even judging by the clientele, I could tell that this is a store that caters to the trends and popularity of metaphysical practice, rather than having an actual respect and reverence for it. If youre a POC or want to support POC, I would not go to this store. It overall felt very uncomfortable for me.

Safe store if youre concerned about COVID.Fantastically large, diverse, and well-organized selection of books on spirituality, religion, and other subjects. Helpful staff. Genuine moldavite and other crystals from the typical to the more uncommon. Pricing is as expected, no complaints. I bring all my spiritual friends here first. There are some cleansing herbs on offer, but this is not a shop for herbs, incense, or apothecary supplies. Crystals, trinkets, bracelets, and books aplenty.

Dont shop here! They sell white sage, which is a closed practice and culturally appropriative. I emailed the owner about this issue and his response was minimal and dismissive. Buy crystals somewhere else.

Randomly discovered this place, was looking for crystals/stones. They have that ( quality stuff ) + an INCREDIBLE selection of books ( can’t find half of them on AMZN ).Astrology / Conspiracy / Stones|Crystals / UFOs / Channeling|Angels / Sacred Geometry / Lemuria|Atlantis / etcetc. Owner is super knowleadgeable and atmosphere is relaxxxed. If you into any of the above, this is where you have to go_

Such a great little shop with lots of books, tarot cards, and gemstones. I really enjoyed looking at everything and picking out a few gifts for my nieces. I tried not to buy a bunch of books for myself as well, but it was difficult. The staff was friendly, and very helpful with recommendations.

Great store. Loads of books plus crystals and tarot cards. Also, it’s in a great neighborhood to walk around and grab a bite to eat. Red line takes you there, but I always find parking easily here too.

I absolutely love the Seven Stars 🌟 bookstore. Some of my absolute favorite crystals that I own and one of my absolute favorite dream catchers came from there. And the man that owns it was super nice & so helpful.

Amazing selection, they also have their entire collection cataloged making it easy to ask if they have something used or new. The staff here is so helpful. The younger guy who works there is knowledgeable, funny and all around great to deal with. He’s the main reason I keep going back.

This is a wonderful esoteric book store. You can find lots of interesting books from many small press here, in good condition. Prices are fair - you will be tempted to buy more books than you should.

Lots and lots of books on all kinds of subjects. Cant leave without buying two or three! And if youre looking for crystals youve found a good place! They can be expensive but youre paying for good quality stones and very educated and helpful employees. Compared to other crystal shops Ive been to this is by far my favourite because of the easy laid back atmosphere and good selection.

Such a cool store! I had trouble finding parking so i got there just before closing time, the owner was so nice he let me stay about 20 mins late and Still wasnt rushing me and helped me find what i was looking for! This is THE PLACE TO GO for anything Occult, Esoteric, New Age, Conspiracy, Crowley books, it is sensory overload on steroids in there! :) I wish i could live inside that store and soak up all the knowledge of every book they have! You will love it and i guarantee they will have what youre looking for!

Mineral samples and polished gem/minerals as good at least for what I seek as any ritzy places in region. A lot of metaphysical books, tarot sort of stuff...not my reason for going so I cant speak to that side of things. Friendly staff, easy going. Store routinely has steady flow of customers. Parking for cars nearby...that can be a challenge. Update: my repeat experiences are consistent. Knowledgeable, ok...not extroverts but friendly and helpful. I cant believe I took so long living in the area to visit.

Amazing store; simply magical. The staff that works there are legitimate spiritual people. The vibes wont steer you wrong and the books are innumerable and diverse.

New Age Bookstore + crystals. They have a wide assortment of stones. The prices up until 2018 were by far the best in the area, but they went up to match some of the other crystal stores, like The Village Silver Smith, which has many stores in the greater Boston area. But I prefer Seven Stars - its privately owned and has been in Cambridge/Boston for a long time, and is probably still less expensive than the others.

Came here to pick up some crystals and stones, but also found a book that I really enjoyed. The staff are VERY knowledgeable about the crystals and stones they have to offer and are quite friendly so feel free to approach them with any questions! They carry a good variety of books, including new releases (and no, they arent all self-help or spiritual related). If youre interested in books by a particular author, ask the staff and most of the time theyll be able to tell you by memory alone if they have any books by them! There are a few chairs where you can sit and read as well, which is nice. Truly a hidden gem in Central Square - check it out!

Great crystal collection with a very cozy atmosphere. Love that chairs are spread throughout the store to allow comfortable reading. Will definitely become a regular here.

Stuart is the real deal: a solid guy with a good head on his shoulders; and Jimmy & everyone else keeps it real here B-). Suarts place (from Harvard Square and earlier) has been a REAL SPOT to meet cats and GET KNOWLEDGE -- all crosses of life have gone through here and they know how to keep the shelves filled with INFORMATION from every corner of human origin. You will not be let down.

Not sure of another place like it in the general area. So many interesting books on spirituality, cosmic science, mystical things, and more that Im not even familiar. Also a great spot for precious stones and gems. I also have purchased things like mala beads, singing bowls, tarot cards, incense, and posters here. Staff is very knowledgeable. Ive seen other reviews where the staff was criticized for not being friendly but they are not mean at all. Just not as bubbly I would say. I try to visit whenever I am in the area.

Love their rock collection! The feel of the store is great, staff extremely nice and knowledgable, and they have an eclectic variety of books.

This is the type of used bookstore-in the words of one of my favorite bookstores -City Lights in S.F.- that can be looked as a library that sells books. Any bibliophile will need a minimum 2 hours to peruse their eclectic and bountiful collection.

This place has by far the largest Buddhist book collection in English Ive seen as a store, ranging from general introduction, real life applications, to Tibetan Buddhism (there are quite a few) and Zen. Was also quite touching when the staff thanked me for spending time in it.

There is NOTHING LIKE IT in the area, and very few of these places left anymore. Seven Stars remains successful for a reason and was always King of the old-school new age bookstores that were so popular years ago. Ive known Stuart for about 30 years, going back to the older shop on JFK street in Harvard. To our friends that hung out in this place, the others are/were merely cheap imitations! If youre fortunate enough to spend time in there youll likely feel the energy and know this is not just a book store. If you have no interest in Occult research, expanding awareness, Religious studies, esoteric & UFOs (to name a few) you may not get-it but youll still likely find something worthy of your curiosity. Ill reiterate; there IS NO other place like it. This shop is an iconic landmark of the human depth thats missing from our modern technological culture, and is a true blessing to the community.

Without question, the largest collection of spiritual & metaphysical books Ive seen housed in one location on the east coast - and Ive been to 30+, including well-known spots in NYC, Niantic CT, Maine, etc. Impressive all around.
