I have/had used Golden State Storage for 17.5 years. I never worried about my belongings...EVER! Since I moved to Florida, I couldnt just check on my things, but the two times I physically visited the location during that time, all my things were just fine.The staff was always helpful and returned any calls in regards to my questions or needing assistance.The only reason I am no longer there is because I finally got the money to ship my belongings. I would highly recommend them to anyone in Cali!!!Thanks for making this something I never worried about!!!

Nice staff, okay prices, seems secure and well protected. They have cameras inside to make sure your items are protected and a very nice clean bathroom! Music playing through the units as well.

Wow. I am amazed at the hubris from the owner of this storage facility. Such a rude response to a customers, or would be customers, legitimate concern for their well being and the well being of others, including their child. The community will be better off supporting another storage facility that truly respects customers through all interactions wether it be face to face or online. I know managers like this one. They sweet talk people into leaving 5 star reviews because thats the only way their business can achieve them. Not by the merit of actually having good customer service and a clean facility where people can walk through without risk of injury. If Google portrayed the correct rating for this place, it would be at 1 STAR . I hope the owner finds the strength to correct their attitude and to start treating people with respect, knowing that its the people who rent spaces here that pay their bills. Not the other way around. Please find a better storage facility, and not GOLDEN STATE DUMP.

Great experience, staff extremely helpful during these trying times of moving. Always quick to answer the phone and answer any and all questions quickly. The storage areas are clean, well lit. I feel safe when there and I feel my items in storage are safe too.

This place is fantastic! The previous owners were good and the new owners are beyond awesome! I mean, how can you argue that point when there’s a Koopa on the desk? But seriously, the facilities are very well kept. I had several electronic devices in storage here for years and they all worked when I pulled them out (I was in the 2 story temperature controlled building). Both the gentlemen are very nice and go out of their way to help you out. A+ as far as I’m concerned. Just pay attention to the signs and rules, don’t be a jerk, and you’ll have a wonderful experience here.

Me and my wife had the best experience in this storage location.Brian and Jon are the best! They are very helpful and just the nicest people (very genuine to be precise). They made sure to accommodate all our needs in moving (Moving supplies,U-haul..etc. name it and they will give you the best deals). The whole facility and storage units are very clean.We really liked the air-cooled units as we have stuffs that needs to be in a stable cool environment. Another best thing we noticed is that you don’t have to worry about dust.We are very happy about the overall service.Would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

I stored my RV at the location in Camarillo for one month. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and I had a Experience with them. The grounds are kept very clean and organized. There was plenty of space for RV parking and I would highly recommend them.

Staff was very judgemental and rude to me and my family. Also seemed like they were on drugs. My little girl nearly slipped and fell from what looked like automotive fluids in front of a storage unit. Never in my life have I had terrible service from any manager.

Both Bryan and Jon were extremely helpful and knowledgeable to help me rent a space even when I couldn’t be physically at the storage office, We are very glad we choose Golden State Storage.

The location is very convenient and the facility is clean. The team/staff is very helpful and is always willing to help. They do need to work on updating equipment (keypads). We have been renting space from Golden State Storage for several years.

We first had one unit , a very nice larger outside facing unit, and then later added a second smaller indoor air conditioned unit. Felisha and Nick are great. They handled everything very professionally and are always friendly and eager to help.The facility itself is very well kept, quite large with lots of space options, and in a great location just off the 101 freeway. They are also a Penske truck rental dealer which is very convenient for moving in or out. I highly recommend this Golden State Storage facility and the management team.

Every bit of my 3 months of storage at Golden State Storage was great. The entire staff was always helpful and hard working. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable - every one of them. Great experience overall. And the entire facility was kept very clean, which made everything more pleasant.

I been helping my friend get situated and moving her belongings to this facility. Personally I think its a little pricey but the great customer service and clean facility that is being provided here goes a long way.

Ive had a unit at Golden State for over 8 years. The staff has always been responsive and helpful, and they keep the place clean and free of critters. Prices are competitive and they always have a pretty good move in deal for new tenants.

Extremely satisfied with my check-in experience. I was unfortunately in a little bit of a hurry, and their friendly personality made it a less stressful experience. I cant say enough about this place! Moving can be so stressful, even more with health issues, but they were so accommodating! I ended up needing to keep my uhaul longer and they helped so much and went above and beyond in arraignments to return my truck. So grateful!!

Went there to buy boxes. The guy I worked with was so awesome & honest that he told me unless I was looking to buy heavy duty boxes that would last several moves, I should go to home depot where it would be half the price of his boxes. Saved me a ton of money. Never had a storage unit here, but they seem like honest people so Id consider them if I needed one.

The whole process from getting into my space to clearing out was seamless. The staff was extremely helpful. The flatbeds made moving in and out easy. The whole property was clean and very secure.
