Was dropped off here after my tire blew out on the freeway. The service was exceptional! The guy (Im sorry I dont remember his name) who helped me took the time to explain everything to my dad in Spanish after having explained it all to me. Very friendly staff and patient with all our questions. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.

I took my car there to get a part replaced. After they did the job my car started making a very loud noise that was coming from the engine. I took the car back every single day for a week so they could fix it but not a single person there could figure out what was wrong with it!!! The manager even tried to tell me the noise was coming from underneath the car and he wanted to charge a ridiculous amount of money to replace a part that had nothing to do with the issue. In the end they figured out that the part they originally replaced was defective and once they changed that, my car was fixed. I cant believe it took them that long to figure it out. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

The staff and the mechanics are outstanding and this is the only place Ill go to have my my vehicles serviced. They repaired the damages that the Ford service center in Oxnard did to my vehicle as well.

Is there negative stars?! Was very unpleasant DO NOT RECOMMEND! I called to make appointment-for wheel alignment ,when I got there they gave me the total price of $100, a little much if you ask me. They said they had gave me a quote over the phone which was false. I get to this place, mechanic takes car and doesnt protect seat from his dirty clothes . During this time of COVID you would think they would be more sanitary. They failed to do my alignment cause they didnt have the proper equipment, great! They return my car and dont sanitize anything they touched from steering wheel to shifter. Over all waste of my time.

I came in today to get my wheel torqued since I swapped the wheel myself and didnt want the wheel falling off for not torque right. Very friendly service came in asked if they could help me with tighten my wheel and sure enough they gladly did it.

The service is great here. I bought 4 tires for my Toyota FJ and this place gave me the best price. They had some issues with balancing of the front tires and when I brought it back the next week they attended to it quickly. I would definitely say check them out if youre shopping for new tires or an alignment. They offer other services like oil changes too but I havent tried them.

This business is a sham. They took advantage of a college student by selling her one tire for the price of 3 or 4. They should be ashamed!

I couldnt give them my business on a Sunday afternoon, (3:20pm) 40 minutes before they closed. They had several employees standing around and every bay open (Wonder Why?) Once I mentioned the $22.95 oil change that they have posted on the side of the building, he said oh i dont think i can get that done today, and I saw 0 work being done at the time. Worst customer service ever, I bet the owner would like to know hes losing a bunch of business to the Jiffy Lube next door, they were amazing and got me right in!! Thank you Jiffy Lube

They put a new tire on the wrong side. They patched the tire that I took the car in for in the first place. The light, Low Air Pressure, came on again and I am not going back!

This place will charge you for services they didnt do.Ive never written a review before and I apologize its a long one but I wanna try and save some people money by avoiding this business.My fiance and I brought in our older car to have the air conditioning fixed and asked for a tune up, oil change and overall look over because we were driving across the country. The next day when we picked up the car we noticed the tune up and oil change wasnt on the invoice. We were told they had forgotten to do it. So we dropped it off the next day again; my fiance had to leave work early to pick it up before they closed. He was told they did a tune up and new spark plugs were on the invoice. They forgot to do the oil change AGAIN so he had to wait as they finally did that. Total bill was over $1,100 for the tune up and air compressor. The air-conditioning was running great and we thanked them profusely for that.The next day the car had a flat tire. When we called to ask if they had even looked at the tires they said no. THE TIRE PLACE said no they didnt check the tires. Two tires were almost bald (our bad for not noticing too Ill admit).Fast forward two months later, the car is now having trouble accelerating and idling rough. My fiance had to take it to a mechanic where he is in Florida who tells him after doing a full diagnostic check that the spark plugs were old, worn and rusty and definitely hadnt been changed in a long time. Ignition wires were also bad. Those were fixed as well, now the car is running even better than before we were told it was fixed by Mountain View Tires.I spoke to the manager at Mountain View Tires about my concern that the work we paid for but wasnt done and was told he remembers that it was done. So the tune up was forgotten, the oil change was forgotten TWICE and tires werent looked at the 3 days it was in the shop but suddenly the manager remembers spark plugs from one car two months ago in a busy shop?He asked me what I wanted and all I asked for was a refund on the spark plugs which was $80. Out of the over $1,100 I spent there, my fiance missing work because of lack of transport, the $400 we had to spend getting diagnostics and spark plugs changed again at a different mechanic, I think $80 was more than reasonable. The manager said he couldnt do a refund for services done. But the services WERENT DONE and I know this because I had a car not running right and another mechanic saying its because the spark plugs were very old and a receipt describing all of this. The manager didnt even want to look at the paperwork from the other mechanic. And as I said before, the car is running so much better than before even the air-conditioning was done. Mountain View Tires manager told me they could have been faulty spark plugs (faulty spark plugs somehow create years of wear and RUST in two months?) and I was handed a pamphlet on a warranty from some company that MIGHT refund me some money on the spark plugs. He also wanted me to bring the spark plugs to him. You know, the ones on the other side of the country.Now I never write reviews (or even complain in person) because I hate confrontation and honestly, I think most issues with businesses are simple human errors and they dont deserve to be bad mouthed. But there was nothing but negative, defensive attitude from this manager even though I had proof they had made a mistake. So we were charged for something that I know for a fact wasnt done and weve lost hundreds of dollars because of it. All we got back from the manager of this place was horrible attitude and a pamphlet.

Was not happy with this location. I use only MV&T, but these people didnt know me and tried to charge me a diagnostic fee until they pulled me up in the computer. I hadnt seen the guy who helped me but I told Eagle Rock MV&T that I will never go back to the one in Camarillo.

Avoid at all costs. The staff is unprofessional, rude, very argumentative and they will try to sell you things you dont need. I ended up over paying almost 100 dollars for something that I did not need and then when I went to get my refund, I was told that I could not get it in cash but rather I would have to wait for credit to be applied on my debit card, which now I have to wait a week for. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, you will save money and peace of mind. As a healthcare professional, I would NEVER treat my patients with this level of disrespect nor would I ever recommend this to any of my patients in Camarillo.

Avoid!!! They quote you a cheaper price on the phone to get you in, so they can sell you other services. Seriously, there were no other cars being worked on and a simple oil change took an 1hr and 1/2? Theyll try to sell you and suggested fixes that is so bull ****. Also they over filled my oil. I had to come back to them to drain the oil.

I have been going to this place for over 4 yrs now they are always very nice and professional, my car is always ready on time and spotless just like when I dropped it off! Just left there now I feel better knowing my car is ready for the winter weather.

Went in towards the end of the day to get some work done on my breaks and they were able to get it done when other places I had called said it was too late in the day. Very fast and professional service.

TL;DR They charged a premium rate but misdiagnosed my Ford, which sabotaged how long it took me to fix the problem. They were unfamiliar with my Crown Victoria, which is a car that is made entirely out of the most common Ford parts. They also tried to upsell me on a power steering fluid refresh.Brought my Ford Crown Victoria in to have an issue diagnosed with instrument cluster power loss. The hourly labor rate for diagnosis was $135. Okay! Very steep, but I respect mechanical work and have no problem paying up if I know it will be done right. Plus I can normally justify a high labor price by what I learn from it. When I picked up my car, I got no customer service. Someone told me secondhand what the problem part was, the connector according to them, and I had to ask to speak to the mechanic for a further explanation. He didnt explain his procedure or what he checked, just reiterated what the last guy said. I asked if he tested the cluster and used his own power supply and everything as well as took into account that the problem was intermittent, yes, there was power all the way up the wire, the connector is just badly damaged, yes, the instrument cluster is fine its just the connector. My invoice said the same thing, connector is badly damaged, will need to be replaced.He handed me pinout diagrams of a couple of connectors, neither of them were the connector he referred to in conversation/on the invoice. He also handed me a couple circuit diagrams with highlighter marks, none of them being the connection he was talking about. And the diagnosis turned out to be completely wrong. It was just the instrument cluster itself that needed fixing, which is the more common and cheaper repair. If I had continued to chase their white rabbit of a damaged connector, they probably would have asked to replace the whole wiring harness or charged two hour labor for a lengthy and risky splicing job after a junkyard trip on my part to find a spare instrument cluster connector, and that wouldnt have actually fixed it.My connector is fine. Its fine for the life of the vehicle. I have had no problems after having my cluster sent off for fixing. Mountain View Auto Service sabotaged the diagnostic process of fixing my car. I dunno, maybe their auto service is fine, but considering these guys cant even work on a Panther platform despite charging a professional top-dollar rate, I wouldnt trust them in anything beyond a tire rotation.To add insult to injury, I had reported an issue with the power steering that seemed linked to the instrument cluster, and they tried to upsell me about it. If the car started without power to the cluster, the steering would be heavy until the car had been rolling a few feet. The guy at the desk said that power steering in my car was purely mechanical and claimed I needed a power steering fluid refresh. Wrong again. Turns out it was linked to the cluster after all, and my car has Variable Assist Power Steering (VAPS) that seems to depend a little bit on the speedometer. After having my cluster fixed, I have not had an issue with the power steering and can steer with one finger (no refresh needed).The thing is, I actually cant tell if theyre incompetent or if they actually tried to mislead me. Best to just avoid them in either case.

I bought my tires here about a year and a half ago. I went in the evening with a flat and they said the tires were bald and had to be replaced. Ok. They talked me into some Coopers for a decent price and then I went home. In the light of the next day, I saw they put some on a Chinese knockoffs (Westlake). Since they didnt put the tire name on the contract they wanted another $200 to give me the Coopers. I get upset everytime I get my tires rotated.

Very bad experience with Greg Chesney,this Individual shows little respect towards people who are trying to get service performed,brakes are very basic service but when Greg told me he needed to replace my rotors instead of resurfacing them just because they looked bad he crossed the line,fact is he had no way of correctly measuring them do to lack of measurement tools,i consulted with the owner Chris Mitsos and he would not aknowlage even knowing Greg even though he has worked for them since 2006

Having just spent $1500 last month & another $757 last week, we had to take the car back today because they still havent fixed the problem. I think well be looking for a new place to take our cars.
