Dr Shukairy performed a tongue tie surgery on my 1 year old son and did a phenomenal job! He’s knowledgeable and very good at his work! He was in and out during our appt but he’s a Surgeon so that’s normal I guess!

Not happy that I brought my son in about 5 months ago, was told he needed tonsils removed and that I would be contacted within a couple weeks, and then never got a call. I’ve called twice after the appointment to ask what’s going on and was told the person who schedules surgeries was very behind. So I called that person myself, left a message, never got a call back. Extremely unprofessional. My son is 3 and gets extreme sick every month for an entire week from tonsillitis. Visiting a different ENT and will never refer this office.

I have only visited once but so far I have only had a great experience. Fingers crossed!

Best ENT in the Flint area! Dr. Shukairy is nothing short of an amazing doctor. I wish there were more like him....

This doctor doesnt know what hes talking about saying theres nothing wrong with my ears even though Ive been getting ear infections every 3 months I dont recommend this place for anyone not even for kids because obviously he doesnt care I even waiting almost an hour just for him to see me

Reception staff are very nice. However Ive been here 3 times with my eight year old daughter and there is always a 30 minute or more wait to get into a room. Then theres another 30 minute wait once youre in there for the doctor to come in. Hes only in the room for maybe 2 minutes, never look at you when speaking and always has a reason for you to come back. Never again.

Very SWEET STAFF!!!!! Dr. Shukairy was just as polite and did surgery on my deviated septum which I had done years before but the recovery was way faster this surgery and breathing great less than a week afterwards...Explained my hearing loss that was found as well and what to expect from it since nothing can be done about the ringing in my ears. Very little wait at all there and again everyone I encountered that day at his office that he has were helpful, kind, and very understanding. The office was very clean as well as the rooms you are in till he hss finished his duty as an awesome ENT DOCTOR HANDS DOWN!!!! In Texas surgery was not the issue the next month was. Could nof breathe nose all stopped up felt like 3 monthsI would recommend him and will to some one asking if I know one now. The Dr and Staff are AWESOME

Our appointment for my 3 year old son was at 2pm and we didn’t get taken back to a room until 2:54pm. Over scheduling is a huge problem here ! No way they are following the state laws with social distancing they have people in and out with no sense of order. The young women at the front desk did her best to help us but over all I would not recommend this place AT ALL.

This Dr. Is by far the very best and the staff is the best thank you Cynthia wittbrodt for your kindness way better than the Dr. In grand blanc dont go to Cynthia Hayes no bedside manners

Although most the reviews for Dr Shukairy are bad I still decided to give it a shot and judge for myself. I wish I wasnt so brave. All the negative reviews are true. This Dr doesnt give a single care. He didnt even look me in the eyes. He pretended to look in my throat and ears and walked out after 2 minutes. He charged me $80 to tell me to schedule another appointment for a balance test. I ended up getting the inside scoop from a former employee too late. Hes careless. Out for your money. Im glad I got a second opinion. No balance test needed by my second doctor, since he actually looked in my ear lol easy fix and way cheaper fix after all. So happy Dr Shukairy didnt get any more of my money. But receptionist was lovely.

Appointment was 130. Sat in car until 2 then had to sit in waiting room anyways no mask because of medical problems. Was there 1/2 hr. Then taken to get test done. Then again taken back to same waiting room for a while more.then got to see dr. It keek a few min to come in. Not very friendly. Felt more like a number than a person. Finally got home almost 5pm. Not kidding.

Went to doctor shukairy for ear and mouth pain, he said it was artritious, ended up being cancer. He saw it, didnt tell, thank God another doctor found it or I would be Dead

Since my sons surgery hes been doing great I just wish the doctor wasnt so rushed. In the 4 appointments Ive gone to Ive maybe seen the doctor for a total of 10 mins. He spends most of the time telling the staff what to tell us.

Dr. Cleaned my sons ears and notice immediately both ears were infected received meds for nasal and oral cleared it up in just ovet a week. Thanks Dr.

Waist of time told them i had ringing in my ears they gave me a hearing test told me i couldnt here high pitch sounds i was like really ihave a high pitch ring in my ear they did nothing big waist of my time so dont waist yours

This is RON and he put my face back together and my eye back in many many years ago. Not much scaring. He was working at Hurley 30 years ago. Knows what hes doing in surgery.

I read several reviews of this doctor and went into my appointment a little on guard. This is my experience with Dr. Shukairy. The waiting room was a little small and a bit dated. It was clean and organized like any other waiting room. The receptionist was professional and polite. My appointment was at 4:45, the nurse called me back at 4:57. The same nurse did the initial questions prior to the Dr. entering. She was professional and very easy to talk to. Doctor Shukairy entered within 10 minutes with the nurse still in the room. The Dr. would remind you of a little older dad type of guy. He spoke softly with a bit of an accent. He took time to listen and did an assessment. He was professional and I felt comfortable with him. I cant speak to others that reviewed this doctor, but my experience was very positive. I would recommend the ENT if you need that type of service.

The doctor is just in and out! He doesn’t sit and have a conversation about results or anything. I understand he’s busy but make more time in between patients! Also the ladies at the front desk don’t know what they’re doing. They just mess around all day

Staff wasnt overly friendly in the waiting room part. The waiting room is super small and it was very hot in there. The wait was long. I wasnt impressed the amount of time the doctor spent with patient or how good he looked him over.

Waiting room is uncomfortably small. Staff is decent personality wise.I went for my throat, but he felt the need to have an ear cleaned. I let the girl do it, though I really didnt want to. I should of followed my instincts, because now my ear and side of throat are feeling horrible, like all the water she blasted in my ear never came out. She even mentioned nothing was coming out. Why do the same thing to everyone.?Then came the nose scope, which seemed dirty and overused. I did ask about cleanliness, everything felt dirty.I left very traumatized by the whole experience. I will not return, which I am sure he is happy I will not be.It is now hours later and my ear still hurts. From where he poked me with the scope and from the water overload that has not left my head.All is he kept telling me was that I had anxiety, sure I did cause I knew they were messing me up. This really was a bad experience.

This man has helped me with my hearing problems. He is a kind and compassionate man and I like him very very much!

Dr. Shukairy and his staff are welcoming and provide excellent health care. Dr. Shukairy truly cares about the needs of his patients. I have been a happy patient for over 10 years.

The Dr. would not listen to me. He just wanted to run his our test. Still having the same problem. Go to another Dr. save ur money.

Great Doctor To Be Seen By At Very Concerned About His Patients.

He walked in slamming the door open almost hitting me. Spent less than 3 minutes in the room and declared my child needs a procedure. Never explained anything or even introduced himself. My child was more nervous leaving than when coming to the appointment. He has absoultley no bed side manner at all. We waited over an hour and didnt even get an apology or anything. Wouldnt reccomend.

Very, very long wait. We were 20 minutes early and still didnt get called back till an hour after our appointment time. There are signs up saying, There is a $25 charge for all appointments not made. If thats the case then when the doctor shows up late then there should be a discount on the bill. Hopefully we wont need this office much more or we may need to find a new doctor.

Best ENT specialist I have ever gone to! Can have some long wait times but it is usually due to emergencies and in my opinion is worth the wait.

Potentially smart MD. Ridiculous waits. Incompetent staff. MD: Shukairy appears to be intelligent, but he chalks everything up to an allergy and puts you on Zyrtek. That is not a cure for Tinnitis and Im not into taking unneeded medication. He also is very impatient and bounces with cookie cutter responses that address nothing. WAIT: The wait is excruciating and waxed into 2 hrs before we got a room. Families are bunched into one visit and one room which means there could be 5 ppl being seen in each room. STAFF: During a follow-up visit, Shukairy told his staff member to clean the wax from a minor childs ears. She aggressively did so, rupturing the area and causing significant pain and bleeding. No response from Shukairy. The child spent two days using ice-packs, heating pads, and pain killers to quell the pain in his ear and throat. He ultimately had to go to PCP and was placed on antibiotics to prevent any infection from developing which could cause loss of hearing. ALSO: They appear to not clean the instruments between patients. The nose scope - nothing. No wipes - nothing. Long story short: I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS MD.

DISGUSTING. Didn’t even see the doctor because the waiting area was so gross, loud, & over packed. You could not pay me enough money to go back there.

Place is a joke. Hour wait even with appointment. Place smells awful. Old and outdated. After the wait, get seen for all of 5 minutes, listens to nothing, hands you pre-printed out instructions and scripts you dont need. Then they schedule you for a cat scan, but never call you with an appointment.

Youll wait for hours. Then hell just dismiss whatever you say, not listen to concerns, I had an infection for a year before he finally listened to me saying my head hurts and ordered a CT scan. Do not go to this doctor for care, he is a decent surgeon which is the reason for the 1 Star.
