I am leaving a review from Ideal Auto Sales.We had called exactly ONE MONTH ago and ordered a engine for a 2011 Buick Enclave. At that time, we were told they DID have the engine and it would be shipped out to us. This was July 26, 2021. After a week of waiting and no engine showing up, we called again. We were told to hold for a few minutes. After a half hour of being on hold, we hung up as who has that much time to wait on hold? We did this same thing multiple weeks in a row with the same outcome, being put on hold. One day we were told the power went out the previous day and they couldn’t look anything up, this was the excuse for another week. And yet another day we were told we would be called right back with a status update, just to never receive any call back. Time and time again we were jerked around being told it was supposedly shipped to us or that they weren’t sure what was going on. They couldn’t even provide us a tracking number for the engine because they just “didn’t know what was going on”.Finally, last Thursday, we called again and said to refund us and we will deal with a different vendor as our customer is extremely unhappy after an entire month of not knowing when his engine will be here to get his vehicle back on the road. We were told it was shipping out the next day, Friday. We rescheduled the customer for today, Thursday, through Monday to finally get his vehicle repaired. Apparently another lie was told.After no engine showed up yesterday, we called yet again to find out what was going on. We were told the engine shipped out on Saturday and it would be here anytime now. Today, still no engine has shown up. So… We called again today and spoke with a different rep. from this business who informed us the engine was not shipped out until yesterday!!!We have been lied to time and time again with this company and have no idea if we will even be receiving an engine at this point. We are so disappointed in Tiger Auto Salvage and hope this will save other shops/customers from running into the same issue. We assume they sold us an engine they did not even have in stock and have had to spend the past month finding an engine to send to us. Very very unhappy and will never do business with this company again.

Its a salvage yard, what do you expect, right? I got what I wanted. Only knock is the seat I bought there filthy compared to what was photographed. Seems like they might have had a bit of wiggle room on the price? But no uh-ahhh! Thats ok, they have pay for those catchy hold commercials when you call, so all good

Fair pricing, excellent inventory. Great team that works there. They were insanely busy when I stopped in to pay for an engine but handled things very professionally and were able to laugh along the way. Nice to see for a change!

Great Customer Service and very fair prices. Tony and his team do a great job serving our community. Ive been to some salvage yards, where they send you down rows on your own, looking for your part. Not here, they take you right to the vehicle and help you get the part you need, to get your car running again.

This was my first time going to Tiger and I like them. They had the parts needed for my car and at a good price. Depending on what you need you might have to wait for them to pull it. No long than a few to a day. Check them out☺️

*BUYER BEWARE*To start, I made a call to Tiger Auto Salvage on 6/21/21 inquiring about a vehicle rim, while on the call a employee stated we have one available, so of course I make my way to the salvage yard shortly thereafter.Once here, standing at the counter Tony helps with my inquiry. As he puts the make, model, year, etc into the computer, hits enter, grazes over the screen, he then states we dont have one showing on our yard, but theres a chance you might find one out back.I head out back accompanied by Richard walking the salvage yard searching through the inventory with no luck. Alright I tell Richard, I appreciate your help, thanks. Richard then responds Tony can probably purchase one for you, oh really I thought, cool, back to the counter in front of Tony, Richard states I told him you could purchase one.Again, Tony, make, model, year, etc, hits enter, then makes a brief call to another salvage yard. After the called had ended we finished up the sale, he takes my credit card, charges fifty-three dollars and hands me a receipt with my card. He said the rim would be here Wednesday (6/23/21).Well today is 7/22 and still no rim... Ive made every possible attempt to resolve this situation, both by phone and in person only to get the same excuse. Owners wont even speak to the customer, the employees are the go between.MY ADIVSE GO ELSEWHERE DONT BECOME A VICTIM OF THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT. THIS COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY.

No refunds, in store credit only. Even if they sell you a defective part.I called for an A/C condenser. They said they had one $75. I go in, wait a very long time, they bring it out, I point out a spot of corrosion that looked suspect. They dismissed my concerns, said it was dirty from sitting.I take it home, install it. Pressure test it and it leaks in the exact spot I pointed out. I call them, they say to bring it back, theyll refund my money or replace it.I take it back, they say theyll order another one in, it will be in by the close of business Monday.I call Monday, they act like were starting over from scratch, now they say Tuesday morning.I use them because theyre close to where I live, never again.

100% satisfied with their service. This place drove 242 miles to deliver a box for my truck at no cost to me. This was very impressive and Id recommend them for your needs. Never in my life have i had a selvage yard do anything like that. The sale man and manager were very good with making it happen. Tiger auto selvage ROCKS!!!!!!!

Its nice how people take you to find stuff. At the same time, I liked it where you could look around. This way you can get what you came for plus you can see what other ideas for new projects you can do or what little things from some you can use.

The gentleman I talked to on the phone explain to me that I had to pay ahead of time to order a part from another salvage yard before even looking at it and they wouldnt even deliver it until I paid them the money. I called about a SPECIFIC part for my 02 suburban. The guy kept referring to it as a yukon. Because of the wiring diagram and the issues im having it needs to be from an 02 z coded vin suburban. If it wasnt i couldve used a yukon, yukon xl or trail blazer part. I dont needs a desk jockey telling me different from a head gm mechanic

The laziness and the level of rudeness I experienced today was astonishing (minus one guy mentioned below). They lost a large sale today, and rightfully so.Today was my 2nd experience with this place. My first time, approximately 2 weeks ago, I called about a wheel for a Buick Rendezvous and was told theyd call me back in an hour. 4 hours later, I had to call again.Today, I showed up at the yard (after a 1.5hr drive). Nevermind that I also still needed the wheel, I also needed the rear differential and dash panel, I decided to start small, and asked to purchase the inline water neck from the same vehicle. I was immediately told, Dont have one. After another minute, I was told to go check with another guy in a different building. I wish I knew that guys name - friendly and helpful, walked me out to the car to check if they had what I needed. They did, so back in the office I went. Same guy I originally met, instant attitude when I told him we found it. Had me take him to it, and then said, Nope, Im not selling that. I cant have antifreeze leaking. Then he simply walked away. Frustrated, I left.Well, it IS a salvage yard and theres plenty of vehicles in states of disrepair around. Seeing as how this part was at the highest part of the system, not much would have come out. A pint, perhaps, and easily drained into a bucket. I know because I did it in my driveway in 5 minutes. Plus its not like they wouldnt have to drain it anyway.Little did he know, you cant find that water neck anywhere, and he could have asked $100 for it and I would have agreed, not to mention the value on the other parts. I found a couple other potential yards and will gladly spend my money at those instead.

The worst. Never return phone calls, promised a refund, never received it. Counter help promises to have Tony call. He never does. Would never recommend this business. Takes your money and runs. Avoid this business.

If I could give them half a star that would be to much was told 2 parts were on shelf one was in the yard. Apon arrival they had nothing on shelf. To make it worse they refused to honor a credit they had given me. Skinny boss lady sitting in office looked like she was methed out

If I could gave this establishment negative stars I would they could careless about their customers as long as they get your money..I bought an engine Saturday for my envoy went to return it today bc THEY sold me the wrong one and I got a different one over the weekend get there today to return it and they only option given is either in store credit or a different engine but getting my money back was completely out of the question I will never buy another part from this incompetent place again.

Got the heads for the truck. And hade to go back and get the 4 bolts. But it worked out

WHO WANTS TO JOIN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST TONY AND TIGER AUTO SALVAGE AND NAME HIM AND HIS SISTER CIVILLY Took payment for a wheel from me over the phone. Called me to say it was their, and it was the wrong wheel. Found the wheel online for more money, they took my cash and claimed receipt printer was broke. Here we are 6 months later and they wont refund me my money claiming they would do store credit at first.I told them I dont want to support them with my money Tony told me to F off and hung up on me.

Kind of mixed on a review here. Overall, Tiger Auto Salvage appears to be a big unorganized mess. While waiting for a part for 1 hour, there was lots of confusion, aggravation, chaos, swearing, crying, screaming, and throwing of items by the employees. They all seem overwhelmed and have little to no help. I did get my part and was satisfied for that and it was a good price. I think with some better organization and help, this place could be much better.

I called Tiger auto salvage about a part, which they said it had, after arriving and waiting around for about an hour and walking the yard for 30mins, they said they didn’t have, and not to mention employees with guns on their persons, so uncomfortable, will never go there again. The American way Right!

Staff seemed genuinely friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Yardmen were willing to make sure that you were taken care of.

Was off to a really bad start, but the owner and one outstanding employee (bad with names) stepped up and went above and beyond to make things right. By the time I left I actually felt bad for him he just needs good help which is hard to find nowadays!But he made it right and was very understanding and cared about how I felt as a customer. So with that I will gladly be a return customer!!!!!

Worst customer experience ever. Very unprofessional. My grand son needed a rim that was it. Took them from noon until the closed to get it. Then they gave him the wrong one. Went back told him it was gonna be hours again to get it replaced. So we asked for the money back we would go else where now they say we cant refund your money until Sunday. Very rude I will never recommend this place to anyone

Only due refunds on Sundays. Even if you paid for a part to find out it will be days before they can pull it because they are shorthanded. Didnt say that before taking my money tho. So I found it at Mikes Auto Parts half price and I will try for the 2nd Sunday to get my refund back from tiger. If the 1 person who does refunds doesnt leave the premises while she has 4 people in line waiting on refunds.

We had a rough experience and the owner stepped up and took care of us himself. This guy is doing a great job with the challenges he is facing trying to hire help. If he treats his employees like he treated us he is a stand up guy. He can use some good help if your looking go see him.

I called up to Tiger on a Friday and asked about a set of hinges for my hood. I was quoted $25 each, but when I got there on Saturday I was told that I would have to purchase the whole hood. I did not need a hood that did not match my truck, but I did need the hinges so I purchased the hood anyway. I was told the part would be pulled and I could get it later that day.About a half hour to closing time I called back, and the part had not been pulled, and they would call me the next day. Sunday I waited all day and there was no phone call. I called again about a half hour to closing and after the run around between people I was told it had not yet been pulled. I was upset because the entire weekend was lost. I couldve had this thing put in and, due to my schedule it would have to wait. I asked for a refund since I bever left with the part. Thats when they decided to send someone to pull the part.I rush up there on Monday and the phone is ringing constantly. I see a large tattooed woman walk up, swearing worse than a sailor not answer the phone but pick it up, and then hang up. I get my part and the extras I never needed and leave.This place is a joke, and their customer service is atrocious. If I could leave them a negative 5 stars I would because thats what they deserve.

They got parts, but if their part is trash. They will not give you money back at all. Then they were gonna charge me $25 on a $50 part and give me the rest in store credits. Im not using this place again.

I went and looked at a bumper that I needed. It was in great condition. Paid for it and came back two hours later to pick it up. Looked like they ripped it off the vehicle and dragged it to the office. Mounting tab were broke and paint was all scratched up and peeling. The counter person said, well theres no big cracks.

Quick easy stuff to what they said on the phone. What more can you ask from a salvage yard?

Had the part I needed for my 07 Pontiac Montana. Very nice people I talked to them about 20 minutes after I was in a car accident super compassionate and made sure they could help me. Went the next day to buy the part they took me in the yard to make sure it was what I needed and if it looked ok then they pulled it for me and loaded it into my van. My new salvage yard that’s for sure.

Found through car-part.com. Very easy to work with. Quick to respond on chat. Wouldnt take my money without confirming that the part was in good condition first. Price with shipping to Wisconsin was still half that of local salvage yards. Hopefully I wont need another mirror again - but if I do, I know where to go.

I used to take my old car here all the time and the guys at Tiger Auto was always super helpful. They never tried to rip me off or overcharge me (Being a college student and not particularly car savvy, currently driving around my first beater car at the time, this was especially appreciated!) They always helped me find used or new parts and got my car back on the road super fast. Every time Ive gone here theyve always gone above and beyond. I always recommend them to all my friends.

I was skeptical coming to Tigers for my motor and transmission but when I showed up with my 2006 car and was treated with nothing but RESPECT... I knew this was the place for me. Not only did they give me an affordable rate but they even threw in something for free for my long wait. It is quite obvious when a company actually care about their clients. Ive been in flint 43 years... best place around hands down😊

There way to slow I been sitting for over 2 hours waiting for them to pull the part that is a 30 minute job. Plus I have talked to couple of workers that have no idea what Im talking about this is hour tiger works now.

They where pretty busy but they took care of us so now its time to see if it works out as planned.

I called to look for a part and spoke to a man that said he could order my part (back window washer arm) for $30 and have it in a few days I told him I would call him back. When I called back I spoke to a women she was obviously annoyed with the price quote the man gave me and said he was busy and would have him call me back, he never called back. I don’t know if he just didn’t call me back or she was just being sexist about the price and never gave him the message. I found this same part including the window blade and arm from EBay for $15 and free shipping.

Wow! One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had! I called up there and it seemed like they answered on the first ring. Then they had my part ready for me when I arrived and it was a very affordable price. I know I’m the future that if I need anything more for my car Tiger will be my go to place.

Went to buy a bumper for a chevy 2500, they told me they had it. When i get there all they had was a 1500 bumper, then they told me they were interchangeable, theyre not. Now Im driving to saginaw to get a brand new bumper for only $25 more than the used rusty one they tried to sell me. I would have had to go there to pick it up take it to my truck just to find out that it doesnt fit, then i would have had to drive all the way back to return it and probably get charged a restocking fee. BE CAREFUL!

My husband ordered a hitch for our GMC vehicle on a Wednesday, several hours before picking it up. They said that it would be ready, he got there later on that day and it wasn’t ready. So said he would be back on Sunday. We went there and they lost the part. They couldn’t find it at all, and we asked for a refund...and they said I guess so. Not very happy with our first and last experience with them.

Unlike some places the fee for pulling the part is included. You do have to wait a good chunk of time some days but its better than always having to pull it out.

These guys are amazing. Just bought an alternator from them. They put it in a bag and wouldnt even let me carry it out to my car. They rock. They always have what you need and if they dont have it they will order it. You cant go wrong dealing with them. They have always taken care of me and will you too. Tiger is the place to go. Used to drive a long distance (2hours) to come here. Was the best place to get parts and friendly staff. Go get what you need then bring to the counter and bs with the workers. Happily spent $1000s over the years here. Now I drove down and was told they dont have the basic parts (multiple vehicles) I needed and I cant go look for what I need cause they changed their policy. Told me they didnt have any Jeep parts....there was 5 right up front for parts....come on !!! Its sad they turned to this. Never seen the younger guy at the counter before in all my years but seems to be the owner from on what he said. Will no longer recommend and will tell my story to other yards. It just so happens to be I know alot of people in the used/new parts business. I am usually not this bitter but when you flat out lie to me to my face you would understand.
