Our garage door motor, displayed smoke and the unit gave out. Overhead Door label was on the machine so they were the ones I called (previous owner left it) I spoke to a gentleman at the office explaining our situation. After a few minutes he came back on the line saying someone would be there between 1-4 that day. What a relief. He explained that probably it was the motor after 15 years. I then received a call from the service telling me they could be there in 15 minutes. They, Dylan and Caleb, arrived before 1:00, assessed the situation and even took it apart to confirm what had happened. They quoted a price, including installation... with no pressure. We jumped at the offer to install. Dylan and Caleb were so efficient and friendly and accommodating. They even programmed our cars in seconds. They were finished in about a half hour then explained warranty, which is excellent and were on their way. Terrific experience with skilled workers. Garage doors were expertly installed 2 years ago. Trim piece broke recently. Serviceman came out the following day to repair it at no extra charge.

I cannot rave enough about the amazing service I received from John; above and beyond any service and support from any other business Ive ever dealt with!!I went to Burlington Overhead Door to purchase another remote, John showed and explained clearly how to synchronize the remote to my system. When home I was not able to synchronize the remote after several attempts. I called John and he was at my house within 5 minutes. John was a bit miffed why the remote wont connect to my system. Having an older system and Johns experience of 20 years he was able to figure it out after trying multiple attempts. Others would have given up and said I needed a new system. He didnt even charge me a service fee. Overhead Door went OVER and above in terms of customer service and overall satisfaction! Very professional, personable and accommodating! They did not even require an initial deposit for my door as they said they stand by their work and wanted to ensure I was fully satisfied before paying. When I had a minor issue the day after installation, Gord, the owner came over himself after work to check on it and even called the next day to follow up. Everyone I dealt with there from the showroom, to the sale, to the reception to the install - (including the gentleman they sub-contract to do the detailed capping work around the door) were incredibly friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Our new door looks amazing and works well. We are VERY pleased with Overhead Door and would highly recommend them if you are looking for a new door or a repair!

These guys just did 3 garage doors for us ! Top notch and real quality from start to finish. They were there ALL DAY and worked like Trojans the entire time.We had 5 garage door places quote us and Overhead Doors was the most reasonable and honest place to deal with. We had Overhead Door out to fix a blown spring on our garage door. The technician arrived at exactly the promised time, and fixed the door quickly and efficiently.He also provided detailed information on what he was doing, and offered suggestions on how I could maintain the door mechanism going forward. He even took time to look at our other garage door, and helped me get it working better again - much appreciated!I will definitely call them the next time I have an issue!

During the course of our horrible experience with a previous installation company just before the Holidays, I spoke with the Admin of Overhead Door as I felt the current company we were dealing with was not doing the job correctly and the communication & customer service was definitely nothing to speak highly of. So after all that we hired Overhead Door to come and fix the job we had done. Jason was fabulous. He told us exactly what he needed to do in order to correct the job, including cost of supplies & labour. It seems the previous company missed a WHOLE LOT and the opener installation was deemed unsafe. Although this cost us a bit extra out of pocket... we were happy to have Overhead Door come and finish the job correctly in order to have peace of mind. I would highly recommend them and will use them moving forward. Carrie (Admin) was a pleasure to deal with as well. Thank you so much Overhead Door!!!

Still waiting for that contact from the legal department regarding the difference in price between Burlington OHD and St Catherine’s OHD: seems like transparent bluff to quiet any sort of complaint about Burlington’s higher prices.Post Pending while the OHD legal department confirms my “allegations” - though it should be noted that I’m not alleging “Price Fixing” as that would mean that both locations are involved in setting the price; my issue is solely with the Burlington locationIt’s been over a month since the thereafter of legal action.....

Called for garage door information, took them 5 days to respond. In the meantime I had called 2 other door companies who immediately responded even during Covid-19.Finally when Overhead Door responded and found out I had just signed with a competitor they became very rude and swore at me on the phone finally hanging up. I immediately called him back explaining I do not like to be spoke to in that manner.Subsequently I have received harassing calls and hang ups from their number.I am not necessarily writing this negative review because of the owners belligerent manner but the rude consecutive call backs are unacceptable.By reviewing the other negative postings attached it is obvious the owner has a problem communicating especially on the phone.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced with such rude staff, especially the owners son.The father/founder of this company was professional and there if there was ever a problem.Once the son took over it all went down hill.My landlord and I had spilt on a $6,000.00 overhead door.It wasnt installed correctly and it broke down a couple of time.I called them to fix the situation and the gentleman on the phone was totally rude and careless.I wouldnt recommend anyone or any business to this place.Unless you want your overhead door not working all the time.Thank you

Horrible customer service!!!They’re willing to install doors anywhere you’re located but aren’t willing to service and honour warranty.Left us with a broken window in December and were told find someone else to service.
