Long story short in December I took my earrings in for a cleaning and inspection and received the worst customer service! It was the first time ever that that had happened to me since becoming a customer of Katie’s in Burlington. On Sunday I wen in to get the same earrings cleaned snd inspected and was relieved that the other person was not there ! But I got the BEST customer service ! I wish I had gotten the gentleman’s name, not sure what his nationality is but he took his time and I feel he really cared about me and my jewelry! Thank you so much for the bottom of my heart. He made me feel like I mattered snd even though I wasn’t a sale I still mattered to him.

Unfortunately, we are enslaved to this sub par jewelry company due to the fact that we have purchased several pieces from them. The process of having your jewelry inspected and cleaned is always an endeavor. Slow, painful, and extremely inept way to take care of customers who want their jewelry serviced. We decided, a long time ago, to not purchase jewelry from Jared as a result of this process. Stay away unless you like taking 30-50 min to drop off jewelry. Buy from a local company that is not geared towards sales and instead values all of their customers.

I would give 0 star if I can.Ive visited a few jewelry stores, including Jared in other locations. But this is absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had. Its been two days but Im still in shock of how rude they are and decided to come here to leave a review and save yall time.My gf and I visited another Jared store two weeks ago and we liked a few bands. To be honest, we had a great experience at that Jared store. Wanting to check these bands one more time, I called this store to make sure that the two bands we liked the most are available. After getting a positive confirmation, I made an appointment.Walking into the store, the lights were all off. They told me that they turned off lights to keep the temperature down. Well, we live in 2021 and I happen to know something called AC that does the same thing (so kinda sketchy but its Jared so Im okay with it. However, it will be the worst environment you want for jewelry shopping because you cant see anything).Then the lady who informed me on the phone that the two bands were NO LONGER available are here in the store. She recommended a few similar bands in her opinion. But I dont really like these. After knowing that I wont make any purchase that day, her attitude turned 180 degree. She made me felt I dont belong to this place. She wont answer my basic questions such as what the price is if I want change the band from 14k to 18k.The whole time shes yelling at me, we cant do this we cant do that, which is directly contradicted to what I was told at the another Jared store and literally every jewelry store.If you want a happy jewelry shopping experience, please avoid this place.Oh btw, when I called for appointment, she randomly asked if my gf is Asian. Im like, why do you care? Shouldve known something is up with this place.

Horrible customer service spent two hours trying to get a bracelet, drove all the way up there and they sold the one they were holding for me, or they took the bracelet for one of the employees! Bait & switch ?! !

They hire the worst people in this store. Our saleswoman didn’t know what she was doing. I will never buy from Jared again. For those who are looking for affordable yet good quality and good customer service, I’d recommend Blue nile.

DO NOT BUY FROM JARED’S. My fiancée and I recently got engaged. After four days of wearing the ring I realized the center stone (worth over $5,000) was loose. I called Jared’s informing them of the problem, to which they replied it would be fixed, but it would take four days. While inconvenient, I was happy it was being repaired. After four days I picked the ring up and brought it home (it takes an hour and a half one way for me to get to any Jared’s store). That same night I brought it home, I realized the center stone was still loose! The next day I called ahead, informed them of the persistent problem and they assured me it would be a quick fix. After the hour and a half drive, again, I was told it would indeed be fixed, but it would take close to eight hours. I’m now still waiting for them to call and alert me it has been repaired, to which I will drive back, again, for the second time in one day (that’s 6 hours total round trip- not including the two other trips I’ve made back and forth this week). I’ve spent well over $100 in gas for a problem that should have never existed. Shop local and avoid big box stores, the quality is far superior.

Amazing customer service here despite covid times! You need an appointment to go in and I did not know that, and I needed my wedding band sautered to my engagement ring before the big day which was 8 days out and they got me right in and made it work like magic!!!

Worst place ever to buy jeweler from!! No 1 ever knows whats going on and seems like too many hands are in the pot. My rings need inspection and cleaning so prior to heading to the store I check what time they close. Once I get there a sign says by appointments only. I call and the response I get 25 minutes prior to closing is that they are closing soon and they are busy. I told the girl to just forget it. I will never buy jewelry from them and Ive spent thousands with them over the years.

Wouldn’t allow me to buy anything without giving a phone number, also pressured me to give me an email a few minutes later after I made it clear I was reluctant to give my personal phone number (didn’t have to give the email). A week later I received a marketing call from Jared’s. Antiquated business model and poor customer experience. I prefer low pressure shopping experiences with places that are tight with my personal data, many others do too.

I walked in midday on a Wednesday, very slow. At first two employees were helping others, one cleaning the glass, and another walking around. So my fiancé and I browsed as we waited. No one said they would be with us shortly. No one acknowledged us. As the employees finished up with their respective customers and we became the only customers in the building, no one spoke to us and they each stayed at the computer not speaking to us.I have money in my pocket prepared to buy our weddings bands and I’m heading to Long’s. I’ll never go back to this location.

I have to say that I was blown away by the customer service at the Burlington store today. I went there with a very unique situation and the salespeople went above and beyond to help me and the jeweler on duty actually stopped what he was doing just to get my ring done and a very short time period. I would recommend this store to everyone and anyone A+++

STAY AWAY! Terrible customer service. My fiancé spent A lot of money for my platinum engagement ring at this location and after a year and a half, one of the diamonds on the band has already fallen out. When we brought it to them to get it fixed, they would not fix it without charging us. They told us the diamond was ripped out and would not fix it because we had not come for an inspection. However, we did try to get the ring inspected! But we were unable to because we did not have our paperwork and they could not look us up in the computer system. Also, they do not give you an appraisal when you buy their jewelry. The appraiser is only in town once a month. Therefore we had to pay a couple hundred dollars for someone else to appraise it. Overall, this has been the most disappointing jewelry experience I have ever had and I would not recommend them to anyone. Getting engaged should be a special time in your life but it has been nothing but headaches when it comes to this ring!

Every single sales person we have interacted with have been pleasant and attentive. Marge is great and rushed to get our rings re-sized immediately a few days before our wedding. My engagement ring and our wedding bands were purchased here and have been quickly and easily serviced, inspected, and cleaned with no problems. Highly recommend.

I have been a Jared Customer for about 3 years now. I have Purchased my fiances engagement ring, my daughters birthday and graduation gifts, holiday gifts, and more. Prob spending a few thousand dollars a year not including the large ring purchase. As usual I had spent about $1,000 at Christmas and my fiance wanted to exchange the purchases and have a custom emerald ring made instead. We went in to make the exchange and the Return Process alone took over 1 hour (and we had out little one with us). Then we were passed off between 3 people who were to assist us with building a custom ring only to have the one finally assisting us disappear for 20 minutes not telling us why. Never the less... We decided to leave. THe customer service that I received (especially being a VERY REPEAT Customer) was despicable. To say I am disappointed and angry would be an understatement! I will be looking to purchase our custom ring from another business for sure and will look for another jeweler to give my business in the future.

Terrible service, rude staff. For as much money you spend here, they sure dont care about customer service. Buying engagement/wedding bands should be a great experience, not a headache. So do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for that special occasion.

I visited your Burlington, Massachusetts branch at 2:30 today looking to get links taken out of a watch band, and the band replaced.I was greeted by a member of your staff- a women in blue with white hair. She greeted me in singsong condescension asking if I “got a boo boo.”I have a disability and was using my cane. My boyfriend (whose watch needs links removed) and I were so offended we walked out. We won’t be back.

I went in to get my ring sized. Told the sales associate I had not.purchased the ring there. She said that was fine and proceeded to get my measurents. She takes the ring in the back to show the jeweler/repair person. She states some of the stones are loose and it would cost like $90 to tighten and additional $70 for sizing. I told her thanks and would think about it. I went up the street to Longs, $55 for sizing and no loose stones and done the same day.

Had no issues with this place. They gave me a quick lesson in diamonds and made sure I left happy. Only gave a 2 in service because although when I was there I had great service from Corrin(a) when I had to call I first spoke to a woman with a heavy accent that was not too much help. I called back and spoke to a woman that spoke better English but was just in a bad mood. She put me on hold for 4 minutes after taking my info to ask me for the same info again. She then connected me to what seemed to be a younger lady which was very energetic and helpful. Overall I give the place a 4/5. Working with Corrin(a) I had no issues and she made sure I was happy with what we chose!

We got my wifes wedding band here. They were very helpful and friendly when making the sale but it ended there. The ring we bought actually ended up being sold in Georgia. Then they sent us another one. But since it was a new item# they had no idea where it was. We called them a couple times and they told us each time it was in the store, but when we got in there, it was no where to be found. When we came in, they gave us an attitude for coming in, even though they told us it was there. About 2 months after we were suppose to have it, it was finally found by Robin who now works for Zales. We go to her now for our service so Jared doesnt loose it again.

Called there to check on a price to put a gold eagle into a bezel and buy a gold chain. The lady with an accent said she would have to see the eagle.. and was very rude Ill go somewhere else.. shady..
