It was a general checkup on a used 2012 Leaf we had just purchased from a third party. We also had a second key programed for this car. They did a good job with the checkup and programming. My only complaint would be that they seemed to confuse the 2012 car with the 2017 we leased a few years ago. That is a minor complaint and did no harm.We were quite happy with our treatment when we had the 2017 Leaf and that influence out decision to buy the 2012.The folks there are both knowledgeable and honest. A good combination.

This one star review starts out positive because I really like the vehicle, but their service departments warranty repair guidelines have made it untenable to continue doing business with them.We had a misfire or transmission shifting issue getting onto the freeway and took it in under the powertrain warranty for a professional opinion. This point is where they diverged from how other dealers handle warranty work: they demand an authorization of $350 to even look at it and if they are unable to duplicate the problem, they charge you. It creates a moral and safety hazard because it gives them an opportunity to charge a customer based on the dealerships word alone. What if the tech decided the issue wasnt worth their time and said they couldnt duplicate even if they knew what the issue was? This procedure gives them an opportunity to be paid without attempting the repair. Again, this entire procedure is a moral hazard and could create rife dishonesty.For comparison sake, I called my two other nearest Nissan dealerships to find out if this practice was common across Nissan stores as Ive never experienced this with other manufacturers new car warranty repair diagnostics. Bellingham Nissan said they ask to have up to $135 authorized when a vehicle is out of the bumper to bumper warranty but still under powertrain. I feel that also creates a moral hazard, but not to the degree that $350 does. Next, I reached out to Campbell Nissan in Everett and the service advisor I spoke with said do not require an authorization for either powertrain warranty diagnoses or bumper to bumper diagnoses.The moral of the story, as a customer beware of the moral hazards that business practices can create. Dishonesty becomes easier when it is monetized and readily available. Has KarMart Nissan been dishonest? Theyve not been dishonest that Im aware of, but it doesnt diminish the moral hazard they have created with this procedure. It also creates doubt and a lack of trust with the customer.

Was told by the sales team that an service appointment was not needed several times during the sale of the vehicle. This was not told to just me but by partner. We were told that the service shop was not opened on Saturday. I took a day off work to drive all the way to Burlington Nissan Karmart. Upon arriving I was told that an appointment was absolutely needed, but that they would try to squeeze me in, however, I would have to wait 2 to 3 hours. When both myself and my partner asked if we could have my vehicle serviced at another Nissan that was closer to home we were told no as it would void the warranty. This was a lie. While waiting for the vehicle to be serviced I placed a call to the Bellingham Nissan and was told they could absolutely work on it and my warranty would not be voided. I am very disappointed to be lied to not once but twice. I will not be back nor will I promote to friends, family, or co-workers.

I had the most wonderful car buying experience!! The person who facilitated my purchase was Joe, an authentically kind and caring man. I was just there to test drive, but with his guidance I chose the perfect car for me with the perfect trim package. I am 100% happy with my experience. If you do not want a pushy salesman trying to trick you into something you dont want, Joe is your man. He was more of a trusted friend that showed me all of my options, and then allowed me to chose what was best for me. I would highly recommend Joe and the whole Karmart Nissan team!!

To date, my 2013 Nissan Xtera has been fixed and is no longer dieing. Unknown to me, my rear axle was in bad shape and had to be replaced. I was not expecting to need a $3,300 repair but that is what I ended up with. I hope this is the last major repair I need on this vehicle.

I went in to ask for a quote on what my they would pay for my vehicle. After getting a low ball offer (compared to kelly blue book) which i rejected and was getting in my car the associate greg calls out well see you back soon right before getting in my car at which point i responded no you wont and he replied with yea we will, we had about 2 more similar exchanges snd at that point i closed my cat door snd left. Greg was rude and had a smug attitude and because of that interaction i wont be coming back or referring anyone to this dealership.Even if my car is worth what he quoted me, he was very unprofessional and gave me a terrible experience at this dealership.

I bought a car out of state - CA - from them. Pre purchase was incredibly smooth and got done with all the paperwork etc in 2 days. They were quite open and honest and didn’t have any issues. Just note that if you’re doing this out of state, there’s paperwork at the DMV that this dealership will not help you with. Any paper work you ask them to send (after purchase) takes time to receive and you really have to be patient.They will also not take any responsibility for the shipping of the car - which is understandable.

Both Luis and the shuttle driver were on top of picking me up and notifying me of the status of my brief service time. The shuttle driver had picked me up right when Luis called to have me picked up. It was really nice to know they were both on their game to pick me up from having coffee and to get me on the road again after the service was completed. Great teamwork!

Joe is a champion. Only complaint would be sharing of a little more information, i.e. the all weather Rogue mats that were promised had to be ordered at the dealership and I wasnt made aware of that so I ordered a set from WeatherTech (subsequently canceled) and lack of a garage door opener which the dealership seemed to be unaware of on the 2021 Platinum. Otherwise, the dealer was very fair with the trade-in value of our Lexus, the price on the new car was fair and we would have no issue purchasing another vehicle from them and / or recommending to a friend / neighbor. The remote purchase worked perfectly.

Wife took our car into have some safety recall work done as well as check out the check engine light code. They quoted $75-$311 to do diagnostic testing before we would know what the actual repair is/cost. I called and canceled any work besides the safety recall and we will be taking it to our local mechanics for the check engine light because most places i have dealt with will troubleshoot and determine the problem and give the you the repair cost, not try to nickle and dime you on everything. Lied to me and insulted me. Worse car shopping experience ever. New guy helped us and he was fine. Then came the pusher... Tried to tell us that the other place we were looking to purchase buys their cars from Canada and we should be careful. Turned out the car they were trying to sell me also came from Canada. From the exact car lot according to CarFax.Then offered me $1000 for my trade in when Ive been offered nothing less than $3000. And that was after he made us wait forever without telling us what was happening.I walked out. Should be 1 star but because the price was reasonable on the car itself and the first guy was fine, gave it 2. I actually wanted the car but refused to buy from them after the way I was treated.

I brought my 2013 Nissan Rogue that I had just purchased from another dealership in for service. It was making a metallic grinding sound while accelerating. The dealership I purchased it from was extremely unhelpful and after taking it to them 2 times to fix It, they stated nothing was wrong with the car and it “must be haunted”. Within an hour Karmart was able to determine what was wrong and had it fixed. Your staff is amazing! Friendly, polite and helpful. Next time I buy a car, I will be coming to Karmart! I will definitely bring my car here for all repairs.

Friendly salespeople. They were helpful in helping us select our new Nissan.We didnt encounter high pressure sales or any nasty sales tricks and lies (like at other places). Scott was great with answering questions and pointing out important features to consider. He helped us get a nicer model then what we initially wanted. It was a good choice and we are still happy with everything our Nissan offers. (Whisper: finance guy needs to tone it down).They gave us a good vehicle at a good price and a pleasant experience. They lied right to my face! I went to the Nissan maintenance department in order to have my tires rotated, but in city getting my tires rotated me said that they were fine away they were and lied to me about the brake system having issues and said I needed to have a procedure done otherwise it would be unsafe for me to drive. My finally got back home in order to do research on the procedure they did, I found out that that procedure is 100% BS! In other words that procedure is only done when you have the brake pads changed etc. so in essence they lied right to my face about the condition of my brake system, and they pretty much stole from me my time and my hard earned money just so they can make a buck! I highly recommend that you seek service at another installation.

Service department told us they fixed the brake light which they told us we needed replaced, a couple weeks later both brake lights are out. Called today to ask them to fix and was quoted 150$ to 500$ to get the brake lights working again which they just “fixed” a little over a month ago and we noticed it wasn’t working a couple weeks after. The first person we spoke to was incredibly rude, blunt and dismissive. The second person addressed himself as the service manager and later changed it to assistant manager. Both guys had 0 responsibility for the work they did a month ago already going bad and held firm and mockingly told us it’s our problem and it’s going to be 150-500$ to fix. We live in Bellingham. I get all my service done at a shop I know and trust, my fiancé had been getting work done at this place since before I met her over 4 years ago and she stubbornly would only take her car to the Nissan karmart down in mount Vernon because she had always gone there and trusted them. This situation proves to us and should prove to everyone that this place is greedy, does bad service work and winter fix their mistakes if they make them.Worst car service experience I’ve ever had!!! Rude, liars, untrustworthy and overpriced.

I took my 2014 Nissan 370z into the KarMART Nissan Burlington shop last week to get a diagnosis for a failed clutch pedal. The team at KarMART correctly diagnosed the clutch failure, but then tried to tell me that the repair would cost approximately $3,600 for a new OEM clutch and installation. I had the vehicle towed from there and the clutch replaced with an OEM clutch at a different location in Mount Vernon for a total of $1,940. I simultaneously needed an oil change, so I took the vehicle to Walmart for that. The mechanics told me that the previous mechanic who performed the last oil change on the car overtightened ond overtorqued the drain plug so aggregiously that there is a serious possibility that the oil pan threads are damaged to the point that it may need total replacement. The car required a new drain plug since the threads on it were damaged. The last mechanic that performed that specific oil change works at KarMART Nissan in Burlington, WA. Needless to say, I can’t even trust KarMART to perform a simple oil change correctly and was price gouged regarding the clutch replacement. I will be contacting management at KarMART in the case that the oil pan needs replacement from the overtightened drain plug, which will be discovered during a leak check at Walmart this week, and expect to be compensated appropriately for their mistake.

Waited four months to have an inside bed cargo box replaced. This was necessary only because the latch/lock would not function. I was told the whole box needed to be replaced because the part was provided by a separate vendor, not Nissan. Then the part was never ordered, then I wasnt notified when it arrived.After waiting this long and the poor communication, the shop could not tell me how long the work would take. My wife waited almost the entire day for the service to be completed. Inexcusable!

On a 1 to 10 bases the mechanics get a 2 overall over my last 4 or 5 years. the first 10 years I had this feeling of being one of the people to have a trusting auto service. Now they scare me on this last oil change saying there is only two problems???Has a exust leak, twice before this it always needed a left wheel bearing. (not this time). This terrible engine vibration from back when they replaced the radiator , that keeps getting worse and worse. Two different times they have admitted to their mistakes but never credited me anything. One was 2 hundred and the other 35 dollars.Very poor help! I cant do this anymore, so many things wrong with this picture. Let me have a copy of all the service records and about a hour of your time to explain all the crazys Ive had with this people.Stay Happy!Mike

They have a free shuttle service. And thats all the good I can say about this place. They dont know how to fix cars. They sent me away 4 times in a year, saying they had fixed issues, which they hadnt, and my service engine light turned on driving away every time Ive been there. They overcharge. They tried to charge me $500 to plug my car into their computer. I would highly suggest staying clear of this place.

Exercise caution and READ THE FINE PRINT.Usual car dealership sales methods, will tell you what you want to hear, but mislead you into racking up huge expenses. Salesmen are genuinely pleasant, but top down leadership fails to train their employee’s on what they’re selling. This lead our newly bought truck and extended warranty to rack up a rabbit hole of expenses and wasted time.The dealership did not honor the sales/finance promise that the warranty could be used at any dealership. Fine print says, if you’re within 50 miles, you must use at their dealership! The salesperson and finance manager both assured us that we could use the extended warranty at any ASE certified shop - we found out THIS IS A LIE!! Fast forward to us paying a large amount of money out of pocket and cancelling our warranty to buy somewhere else.YOU WILL GET ROBBED IF YOU BUY FROM HERE – RUN!!!

Ive never received anything but the utmost in professional and friendly service from everyone Ive ever met at Karmart Nissan. Although I bought my Xterra at another dealership (Karmart didnt have what I needed or Id have purchased it there!), Ive spent many hours in the service department as scheduled maintenance was performed on my vehicle. These folks are great! There is never a push for anything that isnt needed, and when a problem has arisen over 90k miles, theyve been quick to correctly diagnose and fix the problem at as little an expense to me as possible. I wouldnt hesitate for a moment to recommend Karmart Nissan to anyone.

Tony was great. I went in to buy a car, thinking that I was stuck with the loan that I got from my bank, and was going to get an older car. I understand that his job as a salesman is to get me to buy an expensive vehicle, but for my purposes, an expensive vehicle is just what I needed. Today, I made an investment. He sat and worked with me for a couple hours to help me find a way to finance a vehicle that wont be dying or breaking down for a few years at least. For the 8 years that I have been driving, I have gone through at least 6 junkers. I own something nice now. I have something to show for all my hard work. Like any car dealership they will try to force something on you the second you walk on the lot. They did however get me a pretty good deal on the car I wanted and I love it!

Purchased a used Xterra from these folks in April 2013, and it was a positive experience all around. Salesman Scott was friendly, low-pressure, and helpful in showing us options. Quick and easy negotiations, and got a fair price on both the vehicle and my trade-in. Sticker price was high, but a print out of the price from their website solved that without argument. Id be happy to shop there again.

Intermittent starting on our 2012 Quest. Sometimes it would and other times it wouldnt.So we took it in to karmart since it was under warranty and had a Diagnostics performed. Apparently nothing was wrong as it started just fine and the battery tested good.. they couldnt find anything. They did however take our money.Drove it home.. Same thing started happing again.. well I didnt take it back. And come to find out, its interesting what can happen when you tighten up the battery cables...
