Excellent service. The tech identified two potential causes for the problem and a worked through the resolution. The root cause was a defective battery that was still covered under the warranty by the store. The replacement was no charge to me and a the total experience was very good.

Was sold a bad battery with no warranty, they knew it was a bad battery since the package was open already before selling to me. they didnt want to warranty because they didnt do the install but i am a certified shop and needed a battery that day to complete a job, should have waited for one from my supplier. will not do business with again. also seen one of their technicians lose a screw to a customers remote for their car while i was in there.

I paid full price for a battery that was already one year old.

I was told one price for a phone repair and when I got to the store I was told a different story. Within 30 minutes I was in a competitors shop and had it fixed in under 20. They always have the specialty batteries I need but I may shop elsewhere.

Ordered a bulb. Was told a date it would be delivered. Waited 4 days past delivery date and decided to call the store. I was told to keep waiting. After a few more days I called and was told they couldnt get the bulb. Normally that would have been ok if they had let me know sooner. If I wouldnt have called I would still be waiting. No one cared to call, text, or email me to let me know just said keep waiting. Thats bad business

This was my first time at Batteries Plus and I needed a new battery for my Samsung Smartphone. I was immediately greeted with a smile from Jeremy. I told him that my battery was about to go and he promptly opened up my phone, took the battery out and replaced it for me in no time!!!I am a retired teacher and always love to learn, so I asked Jeremy to explain as he went along so I would know what to do next time. I changed my watch battery for 10 bucks. Cheaper than most places. They also carry all kinds of batteries from watch batteries to 18 wheelers batteries, boats, generators etc. Friendly staff and excellent service. Id be visiting them for all my battery needs from this point forward.

Ordered the correct battery, went to store to pick it up. post were reversed from online order. Was told factory must have made a mistake because picture online showed pos post was on the end like I needed. They had no other battery so I wasted a long trip.

They had the battery that I needed and that is why the 3 stars. The associate would not match or even attempt to come close to matching the price at two other competitors regular list prices. To get the price Batteries Plus quoted me online I had to purchase the battery online on my on my iphone in the store. The associate did not even have power to match their own price and had to stand there and watch me purchase on my phone for later pickup all the while other customers were waiting to check out. Must be a better way.

Excellent! Cant say enough about the service at this location. I failed to get the young mans name, but around 3:30pm on 9/14/18, with hurricane rains looming, working by himself with a store full of customers, and with my needs extremely low, he still treated me like I was the only customer in the store. On top of all of that, he diagnosed that my problem was one that didnt need the product I was there to buy, so I ended up buying nothing! But even buying nothing, which he knew halfway through helping me, he still served me like his #1 customer. I dont know if hes the manager, but he should be. Even better, he should be in charge of customer service training! Ive never been in this store, and not even from Burlington, so I have no connection to this store whatsoever, but Ill DEFINITELY be back solely due to the efforts of this one amazing employee. And THAT is why customer service is so vital. Its not about the one customer; its about the others they tell. Thank you!

The Burlington NC Batteries+Bulbs always has what I am looking for. The friendly staff is very helpful. I had a few questions about LED bulbs and they quickly answered all my questions. I have used this store for years and will continue to use them. They now carry Streamlight flashlights!

Easy on-line ordering and battery was sitting on the counter when I arrived at the store.

I had my screen replaced there and I understand they won’t fix it if it’s been dropped but my boyfriend was handing my phone back to me and somehow the top of the screen cracked and I haven’t dropped it and they wouldn’t fix it for a faulting quality of there products. I don’t recommend them to anyone who needs a screen replacement.

Went here to fix my phone cause screen was acting up, not worth it. They said they could fix the problem so they changed the screen. When I picked it up at first it was doing fine but when I got home it started acting up again so I planned to take it back to fix it. They said it was a software problem so they couldnt do anything about it. I took it to a computer repair store a few miles away and they replaced the screen and I havent had any problems since. Just a waste of $120

Awesome experience!!!! Id give 10 stars if I could! My husband needed a new battery for his 09 Corvette. (Little history first) We had bought a battery with a 2 year warranty from one of the big box auto stores Jan 3, 2016. Feb 2017 it quit holding a charge so he went in & exchanged it. We figured the new replacement battery also came with its own 2 year warranty, meaning we were covered through Feb 2019. Fast forward to Dec 29, 2018, Car wouldnt start so now the exchanged battery had let us down too. Went back to the big box store & were informed the warranty back dated to the original purchase date & the fact that the 1st battery was bad & exchanged didnt extend the warranty. They said wed have to buy a new battery. Given the experience with the 2 batteries, we certainly didnt want to buy those again. Husband went online & researched prices & info. Batteries Plus Bulbs had a Duracell battery which is a trusted, made in the USA, brand name. (note*I got tired of searching online today who made the other battery) Duracell was $10 cheaper PLUS we got another 10% off when we placed order online & picked up in store!! (For the record, both batteries have same cranking amps & warranty periods.) He placed order online Jan 1, 2019 with note to call when ready for pickup. Nick called us on the 2nd, told us it was a non-stock item, said when it was expected & said hed call when arrived. The day Nick called back, my husband wasnt available to go get it so I put the core in my car & drove over. Right as I went in, they got slammed with customers however Nick & Jeremy were both pleasant & courteous not only to me, but to everyone who needed assistance. They helped me with the pick up & core exchange refund & also patiently answered questions about a cell phone issue I was having (there were posters up in the store that they repair cell phones, tablets, etc. I didnt know they did that! My issue wasnt a repair but Jeremy gave me some tips for the problem.) Afterwards Nick was nice enough to carry the new battery to my car, which I greatly appreciated. Weve always bought cell phone batteries from Batteries Plus Bulbs & now it looks like our car batteries will be coming from there, too! And, because I trust them, Ill also go to them if/when we need phone or tablet repairs. :) P.S. make sure to check their website for coupons!

I looked up the reviews before I made the appointment and it seemed like a great place to go. So I made the appointment online and drove an HOUR. When I got there I was told it was too late and that I would have to reschedule. Now I work in customer service so I’m not gonna yell or agrue but that is the absolute WORST customer service EVER. I got there at 415 and they close at 5. I told the rep I drove an hour and he said he was sorry but it would take 45 mins to fix it . What the actual fudge ? I will NEVER recommend this place again and I recommend them a LOT.

Have tried to get a light bulb that they have on order since Thanksgiving. Keep saying the truck is delayed due to the holiday. Not sure how you can stay in business if the merchandise doesnt make it to the store. The sales associates are extremely nice and seem as frustrated as I am. Truck came in today without that order! My son was home from college and dropped off his phone to have the screen repaired, they said to come back in 3 hours. We came back after 4 hours and it was not ready, they had us wait another 30 minutes and it was still not fixed. They had broken a piece during the replacement and did not have the part and it would be 3 days to get it in. The phone would only work on speaker, they would not let us take it until we paid the full amount and the issue was their fault! I asked to get the manager on the phone and they refused, terrible service! Stay away from this place.

Yes went in today to purchase a battery for my girlfriends watch. The guy behind the desk takes her watch and says let me see.., a Seiko yeah this isnt worth too much, i said to him well its not cheap., hes like well its not worth like 500 dollars is it, My girlfreind says about half that. The guy says as he is passing the watch back i cant replace battery in anything over $100. We were like your kidding right. He said no. We told him he had our permission to open in and sell us the battery. He refused then I ask if i could open it so we could see what kind of battery it took. He smartly said no you cant use my tools. Needless to say he was very rude and we didnt get her a battery. Very ticked off about this experience and will never shoo there again,

On Sat 06/17/17 I went online and ordered 2 batteries for my Ram Diesel truck. The website indicated the local Burlington NC store had 2 available. After the very smooth transaction, I waited to hear from the store to let me know the batteries were ready for pick-up. After approx. 5mins. an email came through and I prepared to pick them up. I then received a phone call from the Burlington store a young man advised me that he had not realized until too late that his store only had 1 battery and that if I wanted the 2, he could have the second battery delivered by Tuesday the 20th. He went on to explain the second battery is at the Greesnboro, NC store approx. 30 miles away. I asked if I could go to the Greensboro store and pick up the second battery. He advised that I could and we proceeded from there.Although, all employees of Batteries Plus were quite cooperative and sincere regarding the error. The original error should have not been made in the first place. Yes, this was an incredible inconvenience and difficult to fix on my part.I suggest to Batteries-Plus that although the website is quick and slick it still and should rely on human oversite. So train your oversite better, allow them much more latitude with incidents such as mine. Allow them the opportunity to not only remedy the problem but to fix it without ME having to do it for them!
