I purchased my electric car here two years ago and brought it back for service. I was charged $630 for pretty minimal routine service, they quoted me astronomical prices for replacing the tires and stereo system, and they returned the car one week later without having charged the battery, so I could barely make it home (I had explicitly requested that they charge it when I dropped it off). They also don’t provide any service vehicles even though their location is completely inconvenient. This place is absolutely not worth it.

After an extremely unpleasant experience at mckevitt fiat, I decided to give fiat of burlingame a try. I called the number on their website and unlike mckevitt, they answered the phone. I spoke to the service representative Buddy, who was great. He answered all of my questions and put me at ease. The quote they gave me for the job was close to the cost mckevitt wanted just for diagnostic I received an appointment for the next morning. I highly recommend fiat of burlingame for any maintenance or repair, and would definitely use them in the future !

They all know exactly what theyre doing and are very fit for this kind of business. No doubt that they will provide extraordinary service for anyone and everyone. I bought my Fiat500 sport in May 2013, and never got a call or a thank you email from the dealer.I know this sounds silly, but this was a big purchase for me, and they seem not to care for customer service at all. All the emails I receive is from them is about trying to sell me something or asking for referral - awful!Im actually trying to sell my car now, and I called in to try to schedule a service visit - 1st time after 2,5 years. SO disappointing! The guy was really rude and didnt make an effort to help me in any way! He wasnt friendly at all, and it made me feel like it was a hassle to schedule a time for me.Didnt say anything and just hung up on my face!Right after that, I decided to call Fiat Berkeley, and the guy that answered the phone was really friendly and helpful. He scheduled my appointment right away, and have me all the information I needed to know and expect in terms of pricing, timing and coverage.If I knew this before buying my car, Id definitely gone to Fiat Berkeley instead!Horrible customer service! No appreciation for my business at all!

Had a wonderful experience here! The appointment I set up over the phone was done professionally and pleasantly. The check-in on the day of my appt was quick, friendly, and easy. The service department stayed in constant contact with me while I walked downtown with a friend for breakfast. The work was done expertly and the car was checked over completely. They even topped off the tire pressure. I definitely recommend the service experience here, particularly for the Fiat 500e. Its hard to find service for the 500e but this location has easily earned my business.

We had a wonderful experience buying our first car from Joe at Putnam Toyota/Fiat in Burlingame! My boyfriend and I were in the market for a used Plug In Prius for a long time, and we visited many different dealerships with no luck. From the beginning, we could tell that Putnam Toyota was different. The car we wanted to see was ready for us when we got there and in great shape, and Joe was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. This was even more impressive because it was only his second week working at Putnam Toyota/Fiat. We are sure that he has a bright future there, and we highly recommend working with Joe if you get the opportunity. The actual purchase process itself ran extremely smoothly as well. Joe was able to work with us on our desired price point, and our Finance Manager, George, made sure that everything was set up for our pre-approved financing with our credit union. Thanks to Joe and George for a great used car-buying experience, and we would certainly recommend Putnam Toyota/Fiat to anyone in the market for a car!

I absolutely love my cute little Fiat 500—I named her Bella! Its a perfect commuter car, city car and weekend getaway car. The staff at Fiat has been nothing but helpful. If youre looking for your next car, test drive a Fiat. The Italian leather seats, moon roof, and compact size (perfect for parking!) was exactly what I was looking for.

I worked with Hendrik to lease a 2018 Fiat 500e and return my 2016 Fiat 500e whose lease had just ended. The process was smooth, professional, efficient and light-years better than the other surly, unhelpful and outright deceitful dealerships Ive visited over the past week. Hendrik definitely knows his stuff, hes helpful and manages to be both a salesman and a genuine human being at the same time.

Came here 3 years ago and left ecstatic with my new 500 Sport; this past weekend Im another happy customer driving off in a beautiful 500x. Hendrik is great to work with and gave me exactly what I wanted. Great customer service throughout the ownership of your car with follow ups and great service department. I had an issue with my Fiat 500e and the connected iphone app that controls locks, climate control, ev charging, etc. Not only could they not properly trouble-shoot the problem or fix it. They said they would have to research it but 10 days later nothing and when I called back and talked with the service manager, he was just plain rude. I will be taking any future business to McKevitt Fiat of Berkeley.

Beware women, Im 411 and a female, I came in for squealing wheel bearings and $$$$ later I was then told the car is making loud noise I needed a new Transmission. Really? I have 40k miles. I took the Fiat to local mechanic and they fixed the rear wheel bearings with a note that the Transmission is GOOD. This Fiat Service Dealer will rob you blind.

Stay away. We leased a Fiat 500e from Putnam Fiat and have had multiple problems with it. Its died twice in our garage on the charger. First time it was towed and fixed the next day. Second time we had to wait FIVE DAYS for a tow. The car has also failed to take a charge numerous times on different chargers. This is an unsafe vehicle because you never know when it will die. My wife has been stranded in the city numerous times.Putnam says talk to the manufacturer. We talk to the manufacturer and they send us back to the dealer. When I call Putnam back, telling them Chrysler suggested I talk to the dealer, Joe Nenning Putnams Customer Relations Manager, says Oh thats just a game that Chrysler plays. REALLY? This is customer service? I just want to end the lease, but Putnam Fiat has NO customer service and want to wash their hands of this dangerous car.

Their staff needs to be more educated on what cars they have in stock, I asked one guy for a specific model of car and he said he has no idea if they had it in stock. The second guy I asked assured me that there was one in the back lot and just pointed back there and said go find it. Turns out they didnt have it...step up your game guys..

They cant solve the problem immediately for the customers. They asked us to wait for a week to diagnose the car in order for them to write a report. This is really inconvenient for customer because we have to wait for more than a week for the rental car. I dont know why take them sooo long to diagnose the problem for the car?????

ZERO stars. TERRIBLE SERVICE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANOTHER DEALER TO SERVICE YOUR FIAT.Although the purchase of my Fiat 500 went fine, the subsequent service Ive received to address issues with my car has been ABYSMAL. I took my car in for a gear box failure many months ago. At first, the service manager, Chuck Stieb, could not diagnose the issue. Then he was out sick for several days, which meant nobody was working on my car, though they still had it at the shop. They didnt tell me this was the case until I called to find out the status. They had my car for a total of 7 days. I was told by Chuck they would cover a rental car for the length of time they had my car. Ultimately, they did not pay the rental car invoice, and my credit card was charged the full fee. I am owed a reimbursement for that charge and have been trying to resolve this for months. I experience unreturned calls and emails though I contact them at least once a week. On top of that, the gear box issue wasnt fixed properly and the same issue continues to present itself. I was also charged $200+ for service to check a hubcap that kept popping off. That, too, wasnt fully fixed as Ive since lost the hubcap, though they claim they did fix it.HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANOTHER DEALER TO SERVICE YOUR FIAT, one that knows what theyre doing, are able to communicate and doesnt overcharge for TERRIBLE SERVICE.

FIAT OWNERS BEWARE:Dont take your Fiat to this company for service. If you do, you very well may may find out as I did that they wont actually provide the service or repairs for which they charge you. They flat out refuse call you back when you ask for someone to fix the problem you asked them to fix in the first place. This issue is pervasive at all levels -- from the service advisor, up to their service manager, all the way up to senior management. Theyll keep you car for far longer than they promise and, in my case, wont even call you to tell you the car is ready to be picked up. Their service department provides anything but service.

My Fiat was damaged by a tow truck when parked on their lot for service, parked by the service department. After I had paid for service, the supervisor pointed the damage out, and handed me the card from the damaging truck. No responsibility taken. The company of the culprit does not call me back. Fiat shrugs it off. I am mystified. I repaired through my insurance, but is this corporate responsibility by Burlingame Fiat? Never again. Stay away from these people. I dont need this kind of hassle and neither do you.

Zero stars. Very disappointed. Asked on the phone specifically if they had a Fiat 500X Lounge on the lot that I could test drive. Was told by two different people that they had two of them. Drove for 2 hours to dealership. Was shown a 500L Trekking (guy told me it was a Trekking, and explained that the only difference was the exterior, but I didnt realize it was a 500L until I got home and did more online research.) Couldnt even test-drive on the highway, because the car was almost out of gas and we had to turn around. Wont be buying my Fiat in Burlingame.

We had a horrible experience at this Fiat dealership. We purchase a used Fiat 500E. First we were rushed when we decided to purchase the car. Moe lied to us about the amount of warranty that was on the car. We did not find this out until we reach the finance office and already signed all the papers. When the finance person tried to contact Moe, he had already left.To add insult to injury, we did not get two keys for the car. They only gave us one and made no attempts to rectify the situation.Buy beware.

The service department is the WORST!! In an attempt to keep this quick heres a brief overview of my issues with the service department (Aldo was my adviser). The basic situation: I had to have my car towed in on a Monday morning, because my Fiat 500e wouldnt start. It had a recall on it and I equated the two.Complaints-*I was never given a loaner/rental car*I was never contacted by Aldo, I had to initiate all of the calls, except the final its ready call* It took them most of Monday, all of Tuesday and again most of Wednesday to change the battery and run some software updates*I was told I could pick up the car after hours, since they didnt offer a shuttle. Well, no one was given a my key nor were they expecting us to pick up the car. Once, the customer relation manger was located, he tried to get us our car, but it was buried, therefore he could not release it to us. The customer relation manger was very sympathetic and offered to have the car dropped off to our home Thursday morning.*My final complaint- I was promptly call at 7:30am this morning (Thursday), and was told the car would be delivered with in the 9 oclock hour, that came and went. I called the customer relation manger, he informed me someone was en route- 15/20mins out. That was 30 minutes ago. Im sure he was lied to, and that Aldo didnt send that car out for deliver until he was contacted.This whole situation is a shame. Weve enjoyed our Fiat 500e for the last year and a half and now I doubt well get another. Well certainly never use Fiat of Burlingame thats for sure. The custom relations manger was very very apologetic, and agreed that this should have never happened, and I believe hell TRY to implement change, but the damage is done as far as Im concerned. Good luck to anyone using their service department! All of this could have been avoided- easily! In the end the car needed software updates and without the update the battery died, the issue was covered in full by them, this should have been a pleasant experience (as pleasant as getting your car fixed gets). Oh and one final note- it would have been nice if they sent my car back clean and fully charged as a small token of apology, but no of course not.

Terrible service. My fiat 500e got disabled and towed by roadside. I called twice to check on it and every time I was told some one will call back but no one did. next day again I called and same answer. I called again and got angry than I was told car was never delivered by tow company. called tow company tow company called dealer ship in short they found car sitting in their lot. Peter a service advisor finally told me its fixed and ready. now new ordeal started since I live 30 miles away from dealership and has no way to pickup and they will not deliver. never ever buy fiat and specially from this dealership.

My personal experience is that the 500e and associated service issues with the car were a nightmare. The dealer has had my car for the last four months and claims the issues were resolved. The issues were ongoing for my lease term and I would not choose a Fiat product ever again.

If you wanna travel back to 2001 where they take care of everything sloppily on paper, take weeks to return a phone call, and are unresponsive to emails... this is the dealership for you! I enjoy the car but the repercussions of buying it here have been exhausting. No one ever picks up their phone and no one calls back. I still havent received my license plate in the mail and its been two months. I had to go to Chase directly to get FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS back from the dealership because there was no follow up about this refund that was owed to us. They didnt realize that it might be nice to get updates about the transfer of *oh* just a mere $5k. Now, I still have to get my money back for terminating my extended warranty and I am guessing that wont happen until 2018, unless I hawk the dealership, which I dont personally have time for. AVOID my friends.

I would never ever return here! I dont know how they stay in business or sell any cars at all. Avoid at all costs a salesman named Hendrick, but I think they are all similar here: Extreme high pressure sales. Unless you happen to be a masochist, it is extremely uncomfortable and downright insulting to be treated like an idiot. They might as well tatoo on their foreheads dont buy anything from me. Their prices are not competitive either. They stick close to the MSRP, and act like they are doing you a great favor. Way too pushy, so much they scared me away, and left a bad taste.
